Took my chevy blazer in for a complete transmission rebuilt. Jerry sweet talked me saying that they only use genuine parts for all rebuilt. Come to find out they opened it replace only certain parts that need replacing and slapped it back together. Which also took them 3+ months to complete the first time there. Took it back 3 separet time for hard shifting,leaks,hard engagement when putting it into gears and eveytime told me nothing was wrong probably never even looked at it just let it sit there. Took it back a final time for a rear differentials seal leak and denied me told me they were super busy for them to take time a do a leaking seal. Paid them 3k for a bad workmanship rebuilt. Ive never written a review about a business but i dont like getting taking advantage of and Goldenwest Transmission is exactly what they did to me! Steer away from them if you can. There is many reputable Transmission shops out there that will do a much better job for the same price. I was honestly trying to help a local business out, but instead they took advantage of me and charged me premium pricing.

Excellent service, I needed a transfer case replacement for my Ford explorer and Jerry was able to find me a used one in good condition, which saved me a bunch of money. The car was ready when they said it would be. Would definitely recommend them.

I cant put into words how disappointed I am with this company.Yeah sure, theyve been around a long time, theyre good with people and polite, make good conversation, etc etc.BUT. What you dont know until its too late, is they LOVE. And I mean LOVE. Ripping people off. Spent what, $2200? To replace what needed to be replaced.AND SOMEHOW MISSED THE DEAD TRANSMISSION!Managed to fix a few things that did need to be done.But, yet, missed the one thing, they specialize in.They also did work without asking or telling me about it until my bill was due.I sold my truck to a mechanic, that got T-boned 3 days after buying it because guy what?The transmission finally gave out, got hit and the driver was going 40-50 MPH or so.Im very glad me, my son and wife werent in it when it happened. I would heavily Suggest finding someone else to do to. These guys just want your money, they dont care about you or situation, your truck/car/van, whatever you can bring in, theyll find something wrong and uh oh! There something else too!Very, very angry. Wasted my money and time on guys that just wanted money. Dishonest, greedy and very fake.

Miguel and Jerry, are very honest and personable. I brought my car here twice now for different jobs and both experiences were great. Prices are fair and the work they do is of quality. Not to mention their nationwide warranty on rebuilds! Dont be fooled by their name, they do a whole lot more than just transmissions.

Goldenwest transmission is the best! Brought my GMC Terrain here after another transmission shop didnt have a clue about my transmission but thanks to Jerry & Miguel they got my terrain going like almost brand new, they really came thru above & beyond and I highly recommend golden west transmission to whoever wants professional quality work on their vehicle. Well I will say my situation with my transmission in my Ford F150 was very complex, And I will say that Jarry and his staff stayed on the problem until it was figured out and they fixed it and now my transmission is working great ! I highly recommend Goldenwest Transmission if your haveing transmission problems as they will figure it out, I had my transmission completely rebuilt by them and Im impressed how good its working now, it took some figuring out by they did it and I thank them for that ! Great staff nice and friendly and very helpful ... and they guarantee there work..and there proud of there work they do...I trust them 100% to do the job and so can you .

These guys arent honest. They try to get you in with a cheap quote then after youre in they try to get you to fix things that arent broken. Stay away! Look into their other reviews around. Not good after it was sold to very bad people you should beware and steer clear.

I first came here (recommended by friend) about 15 years ago for a trans leak, it cost around $12 dollars to fix (yes $12), it was just a cracked plastic tub. These guys are honest and can be trusted (this is priceless in todays automotive world), I have never gone anywhere else in the last 15 years, for any repairs, they do almost everything automotive, and if they cannot, they will point you to someone else who can (and can be trusted). The key word here is trust, I cannot say it enough, it is priceless. My only complaint is that theyre not open Saturdays or Sundays, but, one time Jerry offered to come in on the weekend to finish a job so I could get my kids out to the desert in our RV. You cannot go wrong bringing your car, truck or RV here.
