VERY knowledgeable and went out of his way to do a repair after 6pm. He was very thorough and tested several things before being comfortable enough to say it was fixed. I found Efficient Comfort after reading reviews from a couple of companies one had a 4.7 stars but some negative reviews. One person got a estimate of about a thousand dollars after waiting a week for parts he got a second opinion Efficient Comfort had part on truck and got him up & running for about 3 hundred. I read reviews for Efficient (5 stars) called, Joan so friendly send Tom her best tech found the problem in minutes. My 14 year old furnace needed too much to repair and decided to replace it. They sent Josh & 2 others removed and installed new furnace & A/C in one day. So happy I read the reviews and did my homework unit is running smoothly and quiet. I definitely would refer anyone to this honest company a hard find in the world we live in today.

They had a time available the next day for a technician to come look at my unit which was amazing and a huge relief. I bought a high-end heat pump and variable speed furnace from Efficient Comfort. The incredible efficiency of this device means a very short payback period compared with a standard AC unit. Im incredibly happy with the unit, both for cooling and heating,, and both the office staff and the installers were great to work with. The owner himself came out to assure the install was all good and to top off the coolant in the heat pump, which is normal for this type of installation. Overall Im very satisfied.

Dan from Efficient Comfort came to our home because our AC didnt seem to be working very well. He found some potential issues, but the fixes were going to be quite expensive and instead he recommended keeping the AC unit clean, and as long as we were okay with insides temps being 3-5 degrees warmer than we set the AC to, not doing anything until it comes time to replace the unit.We really appreciated Dans advice and education on our AC system.

In the midst of a very busy season for air conditioning repair, Efficient Comfort was able to send a technician to my home in under a week. Dan went above & beyond with the repair, and he tried to preserve an existing part for re-use rather than leave me stuck buying a new one. The price he quoted for the repair up front was exactly the price I paid at the end - no hidden fees were tacked on. Dan did great work to ensure I have functioning AC for the hot months ahead, and based on my experience I wont hesitate to call again for any future needs.

Air went out on us during a heat blast and Efficient Comfort said they would come out that same day and fit me in. Very unexpected! Chuck Hoffman came out at the end of the day and told me I needed a blower. It was ordered the next day and installed. All seems to be working well. Chuck stated that I had a 20 year old furnace and that to replace would be too much and was with the thought that it looked like it was in good shape so just replace the blower to get several more years out of it. I felt the part was pricey at $1,700 installed, but the work was done so quick that I was glad it was done! I had some good conversations with Chuck and learned a little about his snakes as well. My AC went out yesterday on one of the hottest days of the summer, and Joanna, for the third time, squeezed us in and saved our butts. Three times Ive had to call Efficient Comfort with some kind of crisis and theyve always found a way to get here quickly, deal with my weird scheduling problems, and handle/fix the problem efficiently. Thank you Joanna for being a superhero for us. We will need to replace the AC unit next year and will for certain be going to Efficient Comfort.

My furnace broke during the coldest time of the year. Efficient Comfort came out quickly, and confirmed the ancient furnace was not savable. They gave me several replacement options, answering all my questions to ensure I was getting the right unit that fit my price range. Since that time Efficent Comfort has also installed an air conditioner. I have had no issues with either unit and appreciate Efficient Comfort coming out for routine maintenance on both units to ensure they last a long time. As a single female homeowner what I appreciate most is the respect I am treated with by every employee I have interacted with.

My experience could not have been better. Originally called in to replace a burned-out furnace blower, Dan didnt pressure me but did answer all of my questions about the overall condition of my 20-year-old HVAC system. I decided a full replacement was overdue and they were able to schedule the work for the very next day at a fair price. The installation was extremely professional, beginning with shoe protectors and placing floor-protecting runners before even starting the work. Installation was smooth and expert, and Dan was extremely diligent about checking and double-checking his work before moving on. Everything worked great after the installation, he explained to me all I needed to know as the new owner, and he thoroughly cleaned up the work areas before leaving. I would never know from looking at the house that a major installation had just taken place, and the performance of the new unit is a great improvement over the old unit.

I called Efficient Comfort to come out for a second opinion. I had one of the larger (will not blast them) come out to diagnose and was told I need a brand new furnace. During my second opinion it was determined it was just a minor part needing to be repaired. The system is up and currently working great. I had my whole system replaced last week. We went with a new AC and furnace. Josh came out to give me an estimate and he really took the time to answer all my questions and address concerns I had over placement in the laundry room as well as where the unit should go outside.I received above and beyond what I thought I would get. The team fixed all my pain points. My old system had gas pipe and pvc all over the place and I would trip over it and kick it nearly every time I did laundry. The new placement alleviates all those issues.The AC unit itself is whisper quiet. All I hear is the fan spinning, which honestly is crazy to me. These guys are awesome! My a/c stopped providing cooling 1.5 weeks ago. I had called two other places who told me late July to early Aug for an appt. But Efficient Comfort was able to get me an appt the next morning! Chuck was prompt early in the appt window and didn’t mind explaining what he was doing and looking at so I could learn about a/c maintenance. He had me up and running in about 1.5 hrs (my coils needed a good cleaning and the startup capacitor needed to be replaced). My a/c is 21 years old, yet he didn’t pressure me into buying a new a/c. In fact, he just told me it’s best to wait until winter so they could assess my furnace since if either of them would need to be replaced there would probably be deals in the fall (right now there aren’t any). I appreciated the no pressure approach and willingness to teach me about a/c maintenance (I’m a first-time homeowner). Efficient Comfort made a lifelong customer.

Coldest day of the year (-10 in Denver). After a cheery call with members of the Efficient Comfort support team, Expert certified repairman Chuck came through with flying colors. My dog Buffy and I had started to turn into popsicles at 40 degrees inside. The moment Efficient showed up I knew all was well. Repairs were efficient and professional, and as a bonus they were all exceptionally courteous and friendly. I highly recommend this team, as they will come through for you even on the toughest and busiest day of the year; however, I suggest calling them *before* it gets 10 below outside!

We had some noises from our eight year old, gas, forced air, heater that concerned us. First we called Service Experts; an amiable woman came, diagnosed, and offered to replace a defective part for $709, and also, to replace a part that would “soon fail”, for $332; total=$1041. We agreed, but while we were waiting for the company to obtain the parts, we hired Efficient Comfort to solve our problem. Tom S. came, heard water in the inducer motor, drained some water and jostled some parts that he thought were clogged up. Done. No charge, beyond the $99 service call fee we knew about before the visit. (This was a couple of weeks ago and it still works fine.) I’ve only had one experience with each company, but I certainly know which one I prefer at this point, Efficient Comfort.Now, for a comment that occurred when the Efficient Comfort Repairman was leaving. Tom S. asked me to review his work on Google, if I was happy. I had already planned to rate Efficient Comfort on various platforms. He did not influence me in any way. I have walked away from contractors who offer me a special deal if I give them a good review. No one is going to buy my voice. I want to ask everyone else to do the same.

I was pleasantly surprised with this company from the point when the call was scheduled. I was able to get a email with the appointment confirmation and when technician was in route a text message with a photo of the tech. My service person was very good at explaining what was wrong my my furnace and even provided tips to keep system running better. Thank goodness it ended up being a minor repair. Want to start by saying I greatly appreciate this company sending a tech to diagnose the problem so quickly which he did in 45 minutes. He was polite and professional. However when he left he did not put the furnace filter back and did not turn power back on the the furnace.I was quoted $460 for a repair that would require no parts and take 3 to 4 hours of labor. Seems more than reasonable. The repair tech showed up late and outside the window set, finished the job in an hour and fifteen minutes, and also forgot to put the furnace filter back.Problem is fixed. But $230 an hour for labor seems steep.

My heater died last week. I wanted a reputable company. I found Efficient Comfort. Chuck walked me through my options, answered questions and provided quick quotes. He was also able to get me a quick install. Tim arrived on time and completed the install in four hours. He was very professional. The whole team at Efficient Comfort is excellent!

This is our second time using Efficient Comfort (over our past 2+ years of home ownership) and both times they were great! Always scheduled the repair within a day of our call, and sent knowledgeable & friendly technicians who were able to fix the issue the first time. We used them once for AC repair/ maintenance and once when our heater went out. They also offered tips for ways we can avoid needing repairs, by taking preventative actions on our end.

Our air conditioning unit went on the fritz, and Efficient Comfort was the only company in the area that could get a technician out in a matter of days instead of weeks. Great company, had two companies out to determine problem. Both had the same diagnosis however EC was cheaper cost difference was $650 vs $950. I asked why cost differences between companies. I was told some companies work off commission only. EC said they pay hourly so technicians don’t feel the need to up sale to make a buck!

Great LOCAL business! The owners are responsive and very helpful. All workers were extremely respectful of me, my animals and my house. Very clean and were quick. The owner even came out to help us calibrate the new AC for our house personally. Highly highly recommend!

I called with a Humidifier issue, after several calls back and forth we couldn’t solve the problem due to parts supply, not their fault. But, Jo Ann was super helpful and friendly on the phone and gave 100% to solve the problem, pulling in techs and contacting the manufacturer and parts suppliers. When our A/C wouldnt turn on we called Efficient Comfort. Chuck came out the next morning. It was a rather unusual fix but he was definitely knowledgeable and was up to the task. We are happy with the service provided for an ac tuneup and will be using them for a furnace tuneup in the fall. When calling to schedule our appointment, they provided immediate help/info on an ac issue we were having. During the appointment, they provided helpful tips as we are new homeowners and are still learning a lot. Also, they added a few discounts to our our bill which was awesome. The reason for the 4 stars is that they originally didnt arrive during the window provided, but arrived about an hour later. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to receive a heads up that they would be later.

Chuck from Efficient arrived promptly on time at noon (I was given a 12-4 window) and diagnosed my air conditioner unit that has started leaking water in the basement. He identified a blocked drain hose that was an easy fix and explained to me how to diy it rather than charge a hefty bill. He also fixed a loose connection on the water pump after noticing water leaking from it and thoroughly inspected the rest of the unit. Then we examined the outside blower unit and he explained how to clean it and where to shut off the power. It was like distilling hours of YouTube videos into a half hour of focused specific information to my problem. Confident that I could take care of the issues on my own, I also booked a fall service of the heating unit right on the spot. Very pleased with this company and Chuck, highly recommended for their professional work, and I will surely be using them again in the future.

I found their techs to be down to earth and easy to talk to, unlike the other two companies that I was vetting. I also found Efficient Comfort’s prices to be reasonable without any BS charges.

We have an old heater, luckily it was just a minor problem that caused the system to malfunction. Chuck helped repair and clean the system and gave us options for when it’s a bigger problem. Trustworthy employees and company.

Chuck Hoffman did a furnace inspection, annual maintenance and certification of our furnace in preparation for sale of our home. He was professional, thorough and on time. We were very happy with Efficient Comfort and would definitely use them again.

I had called Efficient Comfort over the weekend and Joanne was sweet and professional on the phone and set me up with an appointment with Chuck first thing Monday morning. She even took the time to provide me an estimate of the work ahead of time. My furnaces draft inducer motor needed replacing and Chuck was very down to earth, professional, and informative (not to mention friendly toward my cat!). On top of coming back promptly the next day with the new motor he picked up, he also presented several options (and was incredibly informative about the differences) for new furnaces per my request. Efficient Comfort is a genuine, honest, knowledgeable local small business which Im happy to continue supporting for any of my HVAC needs!

I cant tell you how amazing everyone was during the replacement of our AC/Furnace/Water Heater! Installers were all fantastic, worked extremely effectively and efficiently to get our home taken care. Treated our home with the upmost respect, went over everything and when they left, you would have never known they were here which is more than I can say for other installers that have entered and left my home. Once again, thank you so much for all of your help and assistance through the entire process, it is so nice and cool in the house.

Our heater stopped working in the middle of the night during a night with single-digit temperatures. We read the reviews for Efficient Comfort, and liked that theyre a local, small business. I messaged them early morning, and they responded right away. Chuck came out the same morning, and our furnace is working again. Fortunately, this fix was a quick and inexpensive one for the time being, but he also gave me some good information and education. We will definitely use Chuck, Joanna and team again! 100% positive experience. Efficient Comfort is Customer Service Oriented and Professional. I scheduled several estimates with companies throughout the Denver Metro area. Efficient Comfort is the only one to confirm my appointment through an email that included a photo of the person coming out and a link to track that person. Josh (Owner of the Company) showed up for the estimate. He provided me with three estimates; good, better, and best, before leaving my home. They were the only company to show up and respect the COVID guidelines completely. I chose Efficient Comfort due to the professionalism shown by Josh and the abundant communication. Efficient Comfort was close to the lowest estimate I received. I later chose a system, but had some questions. I contacted Joanna (Also an Owner) and my questions were answered quickly. The week before the install I received communications (email and text) confirming the install date. The date of install Josh, Patrick, Tim, and Arturo came and they worked as a team to finish the work in one day (Furnace, AC, and Steam Humidifier). I am very meticulous about anything mechanical based and this job was completed to my satisfaction. This is a family owned business and they care about the customers. Ive Been in the industry for 23 years. I have never felt like I was not just another number on a board producing income for a company. At Efficient comfort Josh and Joanna have made me feel very comfortable and like a part of the family. So much that I have never wanted to go to any after work parties( Christmas, summer etc.) for any other company. No matter how extravagant the place may have been. I feel like I have found a forever home here and would go out of my way to help them or their customers. That’s how much I feel they have help me. Came out to give me an estimate. After one visit I never received any estimate from Josh, despite several calls and waiting for 2 weeks. [Edit] - after seeing this review I immediately received a nice call from the company, and also a quote. It seems that they were so busy after the lifting of COVID restrictions that my quote may have slipped through the cracks. No problem. Efficient Comfort appears to be responsive and making an effort to serve customers. I have increased my review rating to 4 stars.

Efficient Comfort is such an apt name :) With their help, our AC is now operating more efficiently and infinitely more comfortably in the heat of this summer. The team was also super effective at scheduling, diagnosing, and fixing the issue at our house in a very timely manner. Highly recommended and well be customers for many years to come!
