Today, I went to pick up paint and was feeling pretty overwhelmed by the items I needed to buy. Tom who works in the paint department was so kind, patient and I just overall really appreciated his help! I didnt feel rushed and he answered all questions. I also stopped by the doors department where Brandon took his time to explain to me the difference between the types of doors available and the best options. Again, another employee who was helpful, kind and patient. I had so many questions and I just really appreciate both of the for helping me today!
Lowes is the only store I go to for my DIY needs. Theyve had everything Ive ever been looking for and the staff is always friendly and helpful. No matter what Lowes Im going to.
They always have what I am shopping for. I enjoy going there. It inspires me to work on other projects.
Went to this Lowes for a few things and Tony, a manager, helped me. He is so knowledgeable and friendly. The only thing I didnt like is that I wanted yard waste bags and had to go from the plumbing department all the way into the garden area. As I was checking out, I mentioned it to the cashier and she said There they are and pointed into the exit lobby. Well, Im leaving, Im not going to come back in, stand in line again just to buy bags. They should be at the entrance, not the exit! But, Tony was great! :)
The ladies in the paint department know whats up. I had a color that wasnt matching right. The computer kept pulling up a green color even though it was a blue/gray color and she spent the time to try and make it right. Also, when we couldnt match it she pulled out all the color books and went through all of them with me finding a color that was closest to the one I was trying to match.
Had the marble stones I wanted & square pavers I wanted. Wished the pavers were just a little bigger.
I like CLEAN! This store is clean and very well kept. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Their assistance was needed and they came through! Im sure to return. Thanks guys for your help!
They are trying their best to keep items stocked. Im always able to find a nice worker to help with whatever I need.
My husband and i went to get us a lawnmower. The one my husband wanted was not at the westland store. So Esther helped us out my looking this lawnmower. She found the last one at the canton Lowes. She had them get it down off the shelf and had it ready for us a the service desk. When we got there not only was it ready for us, but our service desk person Char helped us check out fast. She was very helpful and made us feel welcome.So in conclusion Esther from westland and Char from canton did a great job going out of their way to help and get what we wanted. Great ladies Great job.

Went to the Westland location with hope that the stock in store matched online inventory. I was very pleased. I was greeted as soon as I reached the floor department. I explained what I was looking for and was shown options and found exactly what I was looking for. As a bonus, I found some great clearance in the garden department. Very happy with the service at THIS location.
Least favorite of the big 3 hardware stores. I also have to rundown someone to help every time.

I was wandering thru the aisles, and I was greeted warmly by 4 associates. That made me feel welcome. This was my first time in Lowes. I did ask for assistance, once I realized the store was huge and I could be a long time looking on my own.
I wanted a cordless circular saw and they had a sale, buy a battery and charger and get a your choice of cordless tool. They had no batteries and charger and the sale had just begun. Not the first time of bait and switch from Lowes.
I always shop at Lowes, too me they have a great variety of products. Also, during covid they were one of the only stores that kept their merchandise in stock! Their garden center is full of beautiful flowers and all your landscaping needs. I am a military wife of a disabled vet and I appreciate the designated parking for disabled veterans!!
Needed a garage door opener to replace one that died. Lowes had just what I needed. A staff member directed me where to find it. Garage door was back in business in no time. I also love how Lowes takes care of our veterans. 🇺🇲

The porshons of ice cream are great.Love that there are pickings tables under a small wooded area off to the side allowing you to sit and enjoy your favorite ice cream.
Their damaged stuff sell for almost as much as the new stuff they have. But its well stocked. A little pricey on some items. Staff were nice

Went to buy a small grill. Salesperson Dave was great and since it was already assembled had to take a shelf off to get it into my clown car. Sherry from plumbing directed me to Dave. Everyone was super helpful.

Poorly stocked, no help, and really messy.
I go in find what I want purchase it and done. Parking is great. Sales reps are well informed, pleasant, detail oriented. If somethings not in stock they order it let you know when it is expected set up pick-up or delivery date right then and there or offer you to try another store.

Purchased miracle grow potting soil. Only had one cashier shouldve had one more cashier the line was long the cashier was pleasant and efficient!

Friendly staff and well stocked location! my husband and I spoke with a lovely woman in plumbing who was very helpful with our questions regarding a part. There were many available employees who were more than willing to help out! I love going to a location where the employees are friendly when you ask questions!

Rude customer service yard material loader in parking lot on 5/8. Needs an attitude adjustment or be shown the door with a swift kick in the rear end. Rest of the store staff seemed helpful and friendly.

Purchased a floor from this location and was supposed to get it delivered. They claimed that I still owed money and canceled my delivery. However, this is not the case. My receipt has my balance paid in full. I keep calling and continue to be rudely blown off, even after multiple calls. Horrible customer service!!!!!! Even the manager claimed to have a “specialist” call me and I’m still waiting. I had to cancel plans to be available for a delivery and the customer service is horrible. There is no contact at this place willing to help me. Don’t deal with this store!!!!!!! Go elsewhere if you can!

I used to go to the Canton location a few miles away, but I stopped here once because I was in the area and this is now my go-to. The selection is about the same, but the service here is great. The few times Ive needed help or had questions the staff has been very helpful. Its also never overly-busy here, which is just a bonus.
Prices are still fair considering everyone else is price Gouging. Breann Charron went above and beyond to help us to find what we were looking for. All other employees were very pleasant and helpful.

Asked lumber guy to help me with wood around 12:15 and he stated he was going on break and couldnt do that I asked him who could and he turned back around and said I cant thats for sure he walked up to the right side register in lumber and walked out the door. I waited near the register and told her what he did she was rude and snappy at me then when I told her she cant be yelling at customers she called up the service desk guy and he then refused my business. These employees should be terminated for they have no idea I pay for them to have their jobs. Arguing with customers aparantly at lowes in Westland is what they do. I will take my business to home depot.
We just left after terrible service. Waiting for the person to help with blinds and came back only to have to have an associate called She finally came and didn’t really act like she wanted to help us. When another customer walked up she asked if she could help them first, yes you can I’ll go somewhere else.
Had what I needed. First young man I spoke with was new and didnt know so he found someone who did. Pricing was way off from another store that popped up online which was a good distance away. A manager who was training someone came by and I asked him and he price matched for me. All in all a good experience.

We can usually find what were looking for at Lowes. Our go to for home and hardware needs. Some of the employees could have better attitudes though. Many of us know why some employees are rude!! Yes I said that. So no 5 stars this time.

Just bought a house this September. Although this location is a 15 minute drive compared to a 5 minute drive to other national home improvement stores, this is my preferred company to do business with. For starters, they’re full staffed. Which helps when you’re trying to navigate the isles for tools and hardware. Secondly, their selection is on par with other stores. Lastly, their prices are fair (check out the clearance/open box section for GREAT deals!).I highly recommend this store for any DIY project or home improvement project.
They need more people in the aisle so you dont have to chase down the employees, A customer shouldnt have to chase or find a sale person

She helped with all the Minuit details with trim and spacing. This all happened during the Pandemic. She followed all the guidelines and that meant so much to me!I called her multiple times with questions and she was always very professional and glad to help me. This I really appreciated. Best lowes in south eastern michigan. Stock is always accurate, staff is friendly (especially the PRO checkout staff), no hiccups or problems.
They seem to be turning the store around looks very organized and things are easy to find might start going here more instead of HD we will see. Product quality at HD has gone down hill it seems not sure yet if Lowes is better.

Went tonight to buy a snowblower, there was no one in the snowblower section. I asked a lady in a red vest by the cashier if she could help me find a snowblower that I saw online, she said that there were only two left ( but there were at least 7 on the floor) but I would have to ask someone with a red vest in that section, every time I looked at somone with a red vest, the person turned away. I walked out.

Zero rating. Im so disgusted with the customer service I received at Lowes. Im new to doing any kind of home improvements so its no surprise that I bought the wrong kind of paint. I knew they had a 90 day return policy so I wasnt in any rush to return my $32.00 pint, yes, pint of paint, especially since we are in the middle of this COVID pandemic. Prior to 90 days I went to return the unused paint only to find out that it is a 30 day return policy for paint. When I asked if I could have an in-store credit the customer service person asked, Amy, the manager and before she could finish the question the manager said no. I then asked if she was the manager which she said yes. I asked if 30 days was printed somewhere on the receipt because I think I had 90 days. She said no, I should have read the return policy before making my purchase. Again I asked about an in-store credit, she replied with, nope. Not, Im really sorry I wish I could offer you something unfortunately that is the policy.... no she said nothing like that, just nope. I was thoroughly disgusted. I then said, lesson learned, Ill never shop here again. She said, thats fine. I still cant believe the tone and rudeness from a manager! I will NEVER shop there again. No wonder their stock is dropping, because their customer service is atrocious. They should be embarrassed at how they talk to customers. I give them a one star rating because a zero star wasnt an option.
