Im definitely returning with my son to Nappy or Knot Barbershop. I was greeted when I came in asked if I had an appointment. Surprisingly, I only waited approximately 15 minutes. All the Barbers were professional and friendly! Theres even games for kids to play while you wait. A+

When my usual barber had to close up shop for two weeks due to a family emergency, I was hard pressed to find a local barbershop that specialized in African American hair. I found Nappy or Knot via a Google search, and was stoked to find out that they were only 5 or so minutes from my home, in the same complex as the Planet Fitness I regularly go to.Rich cut my hair exactly to my specifications. He took a bit longer than I was expecting from the haircuts I received in the past, but that was because he was extremely precise in everything. From making sure my line-up was equal and even on both sides, to making sure my bald fade was faded equally across my head, Im willing to stay in the chair for an extra 30 minutes if it meant I was gonna get another cut like this one. That combined with how close they are, ill definitely be coming back, for sure!

I went there as a walk in and I was cut in less than an hour. Its a nice looking shop with enough chairs for about 50 people and flat screens to busy your time while you wait. I went in for an undercut (since some places wont do them) and they really did a good job. The prices are pretty reasonable, considering you want a good cut. The social aspect of the shop is lively, and full of gossip, but its a barbershop people! Its my go to shop now.

Barbershop talk is always funny. Its never a dull moment. Of course when it comes to the talk be advised that PG or PG-13 conversations are not always heard even with kids around....They have timely service with very nice cuts.

I take my 2yr old grandson here and (Stan the Barber) is very patient, kid friendly and has done a excellent job cutting my G-babys hair. The atmosphere is very clean and best of all he display professionalism and uses appropriate language around kids. However (I usually take him early in the week.)So I gave him 5 stars based on my experience and observation. NormallyIm a very picky person. But I have no complaints.Hope this helps someone looking for a Kid barber.

Informed of a 1.5 to 2 hour wait upon arriving, which was understandable since it was nye, walk ins were being taken in front of me I wonder why.... if my lack of melanin deters you from providing me with the service you offered man up and say it. Dont prolong it at every opportunity.

All the barbers are cool, that atmosphere is chill, no tension. B the barber is amazing, she gave me the best cut I ever had, very detailed. Check this one out if youre looking for a new barber and youre particular about your cut.

Dont ever go to this place! Terrible I mean horrible customer service. This is how it works there. You walk in and do not get greeted. You sit there for 15 or 20 min before anyone looks at you. Sat there for almost a hour and other walk ins were taken before me. I guess I was the wrong skin color........never got a haircut. Dont waste your time

Decided to go here instead of a salon. I was attended to as soon as I got there. My barber took his time to cut and style my hair. He kept me involved every step of the way as I expressed to him that I was nervous. I definitely recommend.

Jay has been cutting my sons hair for years, I travel just because I dont trust anyone else to do my sons hair. Jay is definitely great at his craft and every time my son gets a compliment I am more the happy to refer them to Nappy or Knot. Great customer service always leave with a smile.

Came here with my 2 year old to get his first haircut. We were in and out and he did a great job.

I brought my son in a few weeks ago and I liked the cut, so I called again to try to schedule him another appointment and the barber who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional so Id rather drive further out of my way to get his haircut than to be disrespected. Its really sad because I believe in supporting black businesses whenever I can but sometimes the way they handle business is the cause of their own downfall.

It was fast and they gave me a nice haircut when I went there with my cousin and my two brothers they gave them a nice haircut too.

Whoever is in charge of Google plus should fix the business hours. If you come on a Monday before noon, you will find this business closed.

This place is really bad. The workers are rude, and I showed up once before the closing time and the store was closed. And I got my haircut at one point by some girl, and she messed my hair up. And before telling me it costed extra to wash my hair. She washed it and after she cut it she charged it. It was multiple people who was trying to cut it. The end result was nothing I wanted, it was horrible. And the workers are unprofessional and Im sure some of them didn’t go to school for this. They swear a lot, and play a lot of unprofessional music and they make a lot of rude remarks.

Went here on a Friday evening and there was a long line. After a few minutes we asked how long it would be and they told us over an hour and that they had just increased their prices from $20 to $50. Which was strange as no one else had to pay this amount but us, very strange pricing that works in case by case scenario, they might cut good hair but they arent the best with their customers, would not recommend this place to anyone, their parking lot sucks and its very difficult to get to them.

Absolutely awful. Second time coming here. Should learned the first time. The barbershop is always closed when it says it is open. Called in the first time asking if they were open and they replied with a “yes”. Showed up to the shop and no one was there

Nice shop great cut

First of all the place is a wreck I came by to get a undercut ... When I went in it was an hour before they closed & the first barber idk his name said that he was busy when I told what I needed .. He was rude in the way that he said it although he only had one customer sitting & he was finishing up on another customer ..He then directed me to a second barber who barely acknowledged me ...I ended walking out ...If I could rate them a zero (0) I would ..Horrible customer service .....

Me and my sister went to get my hair cut and the barber kept hitting on my sister and it made her feel very uncomfortable I dont think all be going back .
