My car wouldnt start and we tried jumping it but it didnt work so I thought it was the starter. We called AAA and they met us there within 10 mins. Robert came to tow it. He said he thought it sounded like the battery not the starter. He used his battery charger and got the car started! I was impressed with his knowledge, his professionalism and willingness to help figure out the problem! Robert is the best!!

Really great service! He was so nice, there even a bit early and even told me what was going on with my car and offered advice on that and towing in general. I wish I had caught his name, but I would recommend and use them again. The price was really good too.

They have a contract with Westland pd everything and everyone else they could care less about. They are over priced and Will leave you waiting for 10hrs average for them to arrive they literally do not care.

Love using Westland car Care towing for my vehicles. They are always curious & always call if theres any delay in the ETA & always have great service & manners. I recommend them to anyone who needs a tow or any service for there own vehicle. They always make sure I am 100% totally satisfied with my service as well.

My boat trailer threw a wheel hub in Detroit. Ryan came to tow my boat and trailer to my house. Ryan was patient and extremely helpful getting my boat back home. He took his time and was an overall great guy. Ryan was very professional and takes pride in his job. I hope more people have Ryan as their driver, he deserves a raise for his dedication and hard work.

A trailer was stolen from my property. Garden City police found it and because they have a contract with Westland Car Care Towing they towed it to their impound yard. The police called and I was there within an hour. They wanted me to pay $240.00 to get my own trailer back. I understand they want to get paid for their service, but $240.00 to pick up a small trailer less than 6 miles away. I wonder why the police would not call me so I could have the chance to go pick it up myself. It is just wrong that the victim has to pay to get his own property back. WCC was less than helpful and made me feel like I was the criminal. I know they are just doing their job but a little understanding and compassion would have made the frustration level much less. Ended up just leaving it there. Can’t afford $240.00 cash to get my own stuff.

Driving down Michigan Ave heading to work, flatbed driver is at least doing 50-55 in a 40. Get through downtown Wayne, still speeding. Heading to Newburgh, blows the light and is at least doing 60+ in a 45! What is the rush people? Just do your job!

I got a tow with this company through AAA, and the driver Ryan was excellent. He helped me pry out the stuck screw to get my spare tire loose, and without me asking, he even took a look at the damage to my wheel and told me what might be wrong with it. All of that was well above and beyond what he needed to do for me, which was tow my car to my parents house. He was also very polite and generally helpful. I cant say enough good things about him, and they got out to me very quickly, and paying for my miles of towing was quick and easy as well. Everything about them was far and away superior to what I got with Livonia towing, who the city of Livonia used to take my car off the road in the first place. I can see why AAA uses these guys, and not Livonia towing.

My wifes work van broke down today. WCC, was the first tow company she called. They couldnt help because her van supposedly too tall and couldnt go under any overpasses. There were no overpasses between the pick up and drop off point. My wife then asked if they could recommend anyone, they replied, Google it. That and the fact she was repeatedly put on hold.Very bad customer service.Wont ever do business with WCC again.Magnum towing totally helped us out. Give them a call.

Their trucks are on time. The driers are very helpful. Their trucks are clean and well keep.

Well they hit my car while towing my neighbors var around midnight on the 28th of April and didnt say anything. So I feel I need to be compensated some how For the damage I mean my front in was totaled. Poor tow drunk driver manners.

At first I though this place was awesome since they had me hooked up and towed out of a busy intersection within 15 minutes, drove me back to my office, then dropped my truck off at home and put bricks on the wheels so it wouldnt roll (my drive shaft had broken a U bolt). Come to find out they backed my truck into my tree and didnt say anything even after I called to commend the driver on his prompt arrival and for dropping me off at work and blocking my wheels. Filed a claim with AAA, they said I should hear from the tow company within a few days. Havent heard from them in two weeks and now they wont return any calls or emails from AAA. If your tow service sends them to you request someone else!!!EDIT - It has now been three months since they damaged the bed of my truck. Westland Towing is disputing the well documented evidence of the damage and refusing to work with AAA (not my favorite organization at the moment, either). I got two estimates from their biggest competition and they now say that the prices are double what they would charge. REFUSE SERVICE IF THEY ARE SENT TO TOW YOUR CAR AND NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE FOR SERVICE.EDIT #2 - So just met with AAA and the Gaspar Fiore wannabe owner of this fine establishment. He threatened me in front of the AAA adjuster and field rep. Tried to deny AGAIN that his company is at fault. Then started yelling like a child and sped out of my offices parking lot after I brought up his Google and Yelp ratings.EDIT #3 - After taking this all the way to the regional management AAA finally got me a resolution to this claim after over 4 months since filing. AAA is making this joke of a company pay full replacement cost to fix the damage to the bed of my truck. They are also going to be auditing them to see if they want to continue to use them as a towing contractor after seeing their piss poor online reviews and the number of complaints they get about Westland Towing. Doug, I hope this is a wakeup call for you to start being a decent human being and not screwing over almost anyone who is unfortunately sent your way but I doubt it because you are a true POS. I also filed a complaint with BBB because somehow this place has an A rating.

I was very impressed with the service. I could of did without the snobby receptionist calling me without addressing herself with such attitude. Matt was the driver and he was very knowledgeable and was very courteous. I would recommend him out to anyone! Definitely a pleasant process under the circumstances. Thanks again. On Sunday August 23 I go stranded on Wayne Rd. and Palmer in Westland. I called the Westland Police and they pushed me out of the street and gave me the number to Westland Car Care Towing. When I called Chrissy answered the phone and was very professional and had a great tone with speaking to me. Thank you Chrissy! She got my location and told me that she would send a driver in 30 to 45 minutes. The driver Shawn showed up within the time she told me. Great job! Shawn checked my car to see what was going on. I appreciate that he took the time to show concern for me and my family. He did an excellent job and was very professional. He greeted us with a smile and told me that he would make sure that my car was delivered to the shop.. I forgot something in my car and went to the shop and he was there and allowed me to get the items that I had forgot. So today, Monday August 24 I made a call back today to let me know that I appreciated the service. Stacey answered the phone and she was very happy to hear about the service. She had a pleasant tone and was upbeat. Thank you Stacy! I told he that I was going to do a review for the Excellent Service that I received.

For an impound lot theyre very reasonable very understanding and have really good prices per day for storage they dont try to rake you over the coals in your moment of being down like other impound places

They were great!! AAA gave them my info when I needed a tow for a flat tire. They contacted me within minutes and the truck was at my location in under 30 minutes. The dispatcher called and gave me updates when the truck was on its way and when my car was delivered to its location. Ryan, the driver, was professional and very helpful! Grateful to them for their assistance.

Terrible experience with these rude unprofessional people they feel like they are entitle to be rude because your in a situation that causes your car to be towed by the police. Asked to speak to a manager left on hold for 20 minutes then she came back on the line and said he would call me. NEVER got a return call but was charged for the extra day since they were closed by the time someone could answer a simple question. I strongly believe if they lost the police contract they would go out of business

My 73 year old mother has AAA and unfortunately was given the incorrect information about having her car towed and which she was not aware that the info was correct. This is the second time Stacy who answers the phones was very rude to my mom and the third time Ive heard she has been rude to others that I have heard that have called for a tow. The first incident my mom had with a almost flat tire she called AAA and they sent your company out. The driver said he didnt not have an air tank and left. I called the office after my mom called and Stacy was so rude to my mom and spoke with her abd she was VERY rude to me. I asked to speak to the manager and he apologized for her and sent a truck back out to fill my moms tire. We have contacted AAA about our complain also with your company. Maybe you should think about having someone who is kind and understanding to answer your phones and speak with customers.

I’ve had terrible experiences with other towing companies but Westland Car Care Towing did not let me down. I was told a tow truck would be at my location in 30-45 minutes and they arrived right on time. Mike was extremely nice and helpful! Great customer service!

Mr. Hoover came by to check on my car an hour after I called just like his company said. He quickly determined it was the battery. He jumped the battery and the car started right away. He told me to keep it running for at least 20 minutes. Got home safely. He was both friendly and efficient. He also had a big tow truck if that had been needed. Thank you for coming to my aid.

Wife was in an accident cops said this company had to tow the car, the tow company then charged $240 for towing instead of their normal $95 rate. They work with the city and cops to scam people out of money. Dont trust them, inflated rates passed to customers for towing forced to use by city/cops! Scammers!

Made an appointment 24 hours in advance nobody called me to say they were running late I had to call them an hour after my appointment time no I’m sorry or we will get over right away just a the next available driver will be there another hour and they called back and asked if I still needed the tow I explained I had called someone else and who ever gets here first will get it and also said they were $25 cheaper and would they match for the inconvenience she said no and that it was a call in not a appointment I explained to her that she was the one who took my call yesterday I can’t believe no apologies just horrible customer service would not recommend

My car was stuck for two days 30 miles from my home. The first day, I used AAA and we waited almost 3 hours for a tow company to pick up our call, all that were contacted denied our request (as we were told by AAA). The second day, AAA was able to secure a Westland Car Care after us first waiting for another tow company that was apparently without a driver and AAA didnt inform us until an hour into our wait. Westand Car Care drove out of their normal pickup area to pick the car up from Plymouth and take us back to Waterford. The driver told us they watched our request bounce around from other companies who wouldnt pick it up. The driver was very professional, friendly and outgoing. Great care and would suggest to anyone.

Wonderful company! I just broke down due to my alternator failing on me. It just so happens to be a very cold night so not only am I panicked but I’m absolutely freezing as well and my tow truck driver (I wish I remembered his name because he was by far the best driver I’ve ever had, the company should be very proud to have him representing their company) got to me very quickly and gave exemplary service! Will definitely be recommending them!

TLDR Version: Requested a tow from my insurance provider, Westland Car Care Towing was selected. 6 hours later, and after several phone calls where I was told it would only be another 20 minutes, they finally picked up my car.I scheduled a tow through Progressives Roadside Assistance at 2:01 pm and Westland Car Care Towing was selected as the service provider. I promptly got a text from Progressive letting me know who would be towing my vehicle. At 3:06pm I attempted to call Westland Car Care Towing to get a status update and there was no answer. They called me at 3:14 and let me know it would be another 30 minutes. Okay, not ideal but not too bad. At 3:54 I called again, and was told it would be about 20 minutes; someone was on the way.I gave them some additional time because I know things come up and I dont want to keep bothering the people that are trying to assist me. At 4:40 I called again, and they told me it would be an additional 20 minutes because they were busy. At this point my 9 year old and I had been sitting and waiting for almost 3 hours.At 4:58 I received another automated text from Progressive notifying me that the towing company informed them that Westland Car Care Towing had experienced a delay of 30 minutes.I sat, waiting for a tow for over 3 hours and was continually told it would be just another 20 or 30 minutes. If someone would have been honest with me at the beginning, I could have spent that time working or doing literally anything better than waiting in a hot car, expecting it to be just another 20 minutes as I had been told so many times.I understand there are emergency circumstances that are more important than someone sitting safely in a parking lot, waiting for a tow. But the fact that no one could just level with me and give me an honest estimate is unacceptable.Update: at 7:54pm I got a call that my vehicle had been picked up and was on the way to its destination. 7 minutes shy of 6 HOURS since the tow request was initiated.

Ill have to say I was told 1-2 hour wait. 4.5 hours later they came. Thankfully I was being towed from my house to a shop. I followed behind so I could take to the shop and I wish I didnt. My car bounced around alot and the driver was swerving in other lanes on 94. The driver was nice but I felt he could have cared less about my car on the truck.

I called 7 tow companies today and everyone of them told me they could not help me, either they only had 1 driver or it was going to be a 4+ hour wait. I called Weatland Car Care and I believe I spoke to Justin. I told him the situation about my 73 year old mother was broke down on 275. He immediately looked to see where his drivers were and it just so happened that one of his drivers was driving down 275 about 5 miles away. He said he will get me taken care of right away and not even 10 minutes later the tow truck showed up. The driver in truck number 32 ( I forgot his name) was so understanding and explained the price and got my moms car loaded up. The driver found the cheapest route to the dealership we wanted to go to and made an overwhelming situation for my 73 year old mother a lil bit better for her. I want to thank you both for helping get a tow truck driver to her quickly, having empathy, being so professional and understanding and making a overwhelming situation for her a little easier. I definitely recommend this company and if needed will be using them again! Thank you so much!

Assigned from AAA, my tow driver was Ben and he was phenomenal! Ive already given the appropriate accolades to the supervisor and to AAA as well. Ben went above and beyond in his service today, he was timely, professional, and waited for me to get a prescription for my daughter. I highly recommend utilizing this company!

After being hit and run on ford rd by an F-150 I was able to get a tow truck in 15 min to get me off the road and out of harms way. Thanks to the dispatch and drivers at WCC . You guys risk your life for people everyday. AAA card is the best 60 bucks you will ever spend .

Kept moving the arrival time, and I had to call to find out.. no communication on their side ...very rude and would not let me speak... my wait was originally supposed to be an hour and a half at Max... After three hours of waiting, just to be told that I would have to wait ANOTHER 45 minutes, I called AAA back to get another company...Never had any problems with any tow companies using AAA for the last few decades... theres always a first I guess

Do NOT use Westland Car Care!!! They will drive your car (especially if its a nice car with speed). Heard the staff talking about a Corvette thats was coming in and about how one guy would test it as we waited to get his car. As we get to his vehicle, a Dodge Challenger R/T, we realized the tire is completely flat! Keeping in mind the car was being drove at the time of towing. We request if they can do something to fix the tire but they refused any type of decent customer service. The same guy referring to testing the Corvette interjects himself into the conversation stating the tire was shredded. How did the tire get shredded if it was towed to your location and supposedly left undriven for 24 hours until we came to get it??? Someone got in his nice, fast car and drove it!!! This damaged happened in their care and they did nothing to fix the issue!!! You arent suppose to drive cars you tow or impound!!! Im filing complaints, Im making noise and I refuse to be quiet!!! You have 3 police contacts.. I wonder how many cars are being drove, dogged, damaged and not fixed the owner being left responsible!!!!

Called AAA for roadside assistance, was given a 75 minute wait time which was not an issue - busy time of day. Westland called me within 1 minute of my AAA call and the driver (Trevor) and flatbed turned up within 10 minutes! 5 minutes later Trevor had the car loaded and we were off. Safe driving and trip home. What more could I want from a towing company?!! Thanks.

WORST TOW COMPANY EVER!!! Doug the manager doesn’t care and is VERY DISRESPECTFUL!! Called GM roadside for a tow and this is the company they connected us with. They said they would arrive between 5:30-6pm. Called in at 4:30. They would update if there was any issues. They still hadn’t showed up at 7pm. When GM contacted them they claimed it would be at least another 90 minutes due to many accidents in area. I asked to cancel them and contact alternative tow company. One that police in area use as well. That company arrived in 10 minutes and said there wasn’t many accidents tonight. We also have police in family who verified there wasn’t many accidents. This company has no respect for people’s time or need!! Filled a complaint against them with Allstate and GM roadside. I hope no one else ever has to go through this experience. When I called and spoke to manager Doug he was dismissive and had zero interest or care of concerns I voiced.

The first person who came out could not remove my lug. He kept telling me it was a key (which it wasnt) and left. I called AAA again and Jason responded. He was able to remove my stripped lug and send me on my way. He even checked the pressure in the tire. Excellent customer service from Jason. He went over and beyond. Thanks so much again. I was 45 miles away from home in the middle of the night.

Read this before you get involved with Westland towing, you might change your mind.AAA call center called them up, said between 2-4pm, no show, called Westland towing said would be another 45min. Basically the never showed. Next day. Requested AAA to not use them, but AAA sent out a request against my wish to use Westland towing. Hour late. Lady was extremely rude on the phone, yeah I get it that people are not happy and you are on the front line... but she’s the one calling the drivers to get updates.Here’s my view. Do your job better scheduling realistic times. Don’t just accept the job and have a backlog of WAITING CLIENTS. I’d give a 5 star for the driver, but a -1 for the call center and scheduling.Bottom line, I’m not done.. my experience will be reported up the chain within AAA. Maybe they might dock some payments or use another towing company in the future.

I wouldn’t let them move a go-cart after my experience with one of their drivers.I saw their truck at a local convenience store. I intentionally tried to park out of his way. I come out 4 minutes later and where is he? Right behind me, starting to load. I’m irritated and all I say is “really”?The driver gets all mouthy with me, like how dare I be irritated and he just doesnt stop. Now I’m getting P’O’d.Horrible, horrible... No way in the world I would call them if my wife or family needed a tow or service.Too many good alternatives. Dude, get therapy, meds or both.

This is the second time Ive had Westland Car Care service. The first, I left my lights on and needed a battery jump. I was perfectly happy with the nice guy who showed up. He was friendly and helpful and acted as if there was nothing he would rather be doing on that bitter cold, December night at midnight.The second time was yesterday. I was leaving a shopping center and found that my gear shift would not work. I called AAA. They sent Westland Car Care. The young man who came was Jasonte. He was very polite, clean cut and did a great job. My car had to be back loaded onto the truck bed with chains and a winch. It was no easy task because the wheels would not roll with the car stuck in park. When it came time to drop the car at my mechanics, he had to take a long,careful,patient time to get it off the truck without damaging the front bumper.He never rushed or showed frustration. I was very impressed by him.I hope that any time I am within their area and call AAA, Westland Car care is the one to get the call.

Needed my car towed from my office. 5 hours after i originally called, I called again and found out they mistakenly put my car on the list to tow it to a SCRAPYARD which pushed their ETA to my location to 7 hours after I had asked for a tow (since they do scrapyard tows at the end of the night.) After informing them of their mistake, they kept changing the ETA back and forth and when I called to inquire why it was changing the women on the phone were extremely rude and condescending. Despite it being their mistake they were not coming to get my car any earlier. Luckily I had my office building to stand in while waiting, but what if I had been stranded on the side of the road? That is no way to treat a customer. Eventually, when their truck was 30 minutes past the ETA (which was already 7 hours after I called, mind you) I got fed up and called another towing company which arrived in 15 minutes.I definitely do not recommend Westland Care Care as they do not care one bit about customer service or making up for their mistakes. I could understand waiting up to 2 hours, but 7 hours and 30 minutes plus rude customer service talking to me the way they did.. Thats just crazy. I really hope nobody else has to go through a situation like this - avoid this company at all costs.

As a business owner and retired police detective my experience with tow companies has been vast. By far this was the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Through AAA this company was referred, the driver arrived, I greeted him & he never spoke back. Upon him exiting the vehicle I advised him that two of the tires were completely flat and needed air before putting them on the flat bed (to save me the rim damage) & to accommodate easier movement once the vehicle was dropped off at the shop, he refused. Instead of taking the few seconds to simply add air, he decided to be rude & unprofessional. I explained that the shop he was taking the vehicle to had no lot parking and only access off a busy street & by arriving with air in the tire the mechanics could easily move the vehicle into the garage. His response, its a shop right? They can put air in the tire. I explained I want air in the tire to also avoid rim damage as you pull it on the bed & set it down, he again refused & was dismissed. Good people stop spending money with companies that dont appreciate your business, or have an inability to accommodate a more than reasonable request. Via, AAA this tow company may never have our business again.

My wife and I went into the office and the guy who helped us out was very helpful with the choice we had to make with our truck. Once we decided what to do with our truck, the guys towed our truck to our home. The guys were honest and helpful, would use their service again!!! Thanks again!

Great customer service

Had to have my 96 Bonneville SSEi towed from my house in Westland to a friends house in Romulus who is swapping out my engine. The tow drivers name was Jason and he was outstanding. He took extreme care while putting my vehicle on the flatbed. When it got to the destination in Romulus, apparently Jason was even more masterful. My friend had several people over as he was hosting a Pontiac Bonneville Club get together. When I stopped over later in the evening, I had several car enthusiasts tell me how skillful the tow driver was as he had put the car down basically level the whole way off the flatbed. Wait time from initial call to arrival at my house was about 90 minutes..... Just as the receptionist had predicted. To sum up, I had a positive experience with Westland Car Care Towing. I will use them again for sure.

Terrible service, took longer then the alotted time and then would not answer calls as I was trying to track my driver

I had to have my car towed home a few weeks ago and I thought it was going to be a nightmare as it is a Chrysler 200 with an electronic transmission. My battery died from the cold and even after jumping it, I couldn’t put it into gear. So, I spent over an hour on the phone waiting for AAA to answer and they said because it was so cold there were a lot of people needing assistance and it may be 20-30 minutes. Well, within 10 minutes my guy was there, knew exactly how to get my car into neutral to load my car up, and had him home in no time. He was an amazing driver and literally backed my car right up into his usual parking spot for me. I don’t remember his name but I know he had stated he’s been driving trucks for years because I complimented him on his precision driving! I appreciate these people immensely for having an experienced, courteous, and efficient staff!

Ive used Westland Car Care Towing/Auto Care twice this year (Ron to help me with my tire & Troy to tow my car to the shop) and both times, both guys, were prompt, professional and courteous. Horrible customer service. My car is a total. Went in to give them keys.... they just stared at my dad like he wasnt even there. Didnt even acknowledge them. Called later on in the day to inquire where to give the keys. Woman said she couldnt help me and didnt know what I wanted. Really? You have my car. I gave you my info. Trying to make your day easier so you dont have any problems with the tow company coming to get my car. Thank you for making. A stressful situation even more stressful.

Triple a dispatched the call for my motorhome to this company and they were very quick for being 30 miles away. Tow truck driver was awesome and we help direct traffic for his safety. Thank you to the heavy truck night shift operater. Tip your roadside service workers for risking it all.

I have had to use this place before and didnt have an issue however i used it again today well my daughter did and the service was terrible unfortunately when the first thing u notice is the attitude that says a lot to me

Do NOT COME HERE WARNING. The Manager is very Rude and disrespectful to my race. My car was impounded here and when it came in All my tires were just fine. When I came to get my car put of impound a day later all of my tires were flat. They refused to help me and told me it wasnt their fault even though they were responsible for my car while it was In their possession. They made me pay to have my car towed to a tire shop along with the impound fee. This place is here to scam you out of money....

My experience with westland car care has been all positive I needed them twice in one day two different problems very prompt and professional. Ed the tow truck driver and I got caught in a storm but still managed to get my car towed quickly. Thanks Ed great service

Waited 3 hours for a tow truck to show, I got tired of waiting and called a different company. My vehicle was only a few miles away from WCC, I never received any updates on when a truck would get to me. I would never refer WCC to anyone.

This place does not respect speed limits Weight Control in my neighborhood complain often nothing down about it

No issues with the company the tow truck driver was very nice and pulled my car from the garage and towed it to the nearest shop for me. Absolutely no issues with this company and I would use them again. Very professional driver.

Never used this company but almost got rear ended by a driver of their trucks going about 60+ MPH on Newburg. If I hadnt moved left, they probably would have smashed the back of my vehicle as well as my son in his car seat. Ill tell friends to avoid this company on principal alone.

Twice within a year AAA dispatched this company to me. First time they gave a 90 min eta, the driver arrived after 6 hours and no updates from the Westland dispatcher. Today after giving a 60 min eta for a fuel delivery, two hours later and after talking with AAA the same unqualified dispatcher called me to tell me she didnt have a ETA. Again, had no bad wather or a holiday. Im not sure why this business is still getting work from AAA.

They didnt service the area where my son broke down

Called for towing they said 2 hrs. 2 hrs came and went, called again they said the guy is on his way. 30 mins later called again. That driver never showed. But another was on the way. Finally he showed up. I was stuck in the snow off the highway for over 3 hrs. I would not recommend. I had to keep calling and ask where the drivers were.

This is the worst company with the worst owner. I got a call that the tow truck was there to pick up my vehicle. I never once received a call saying they didnt take it. My truck sat opened the entire night with the key in it. Clearly they had my number to call saying the tow truck was there but they are too unprofessional to call and say they didnt take it. When I called upset the owner said find someone else and hung up on me. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS I WOULD!!!!!
