Driver showed up in a different bus from what we expected told us they was a third party company, demanded cash up front and he tacked on an extra $100 to our bill and when we asked if we could stop at the store he rudely told us No, he told the whole wedding party we didn’t have the money & he couldn’t accommodate our party!So we got off the bus and drove our own vehicles... Never ever again will we use this service😡

We are from out of town coming to Detroit for our sons wedding with a small group of relatives. We scheduled with Royal Limousine for transportation from the airport to our Hotel on a Friday and returning to airport on a Sunday, for a group of 7. We also scheduled with them transportation for 32 on that Friday for the Rehearsal dinner, about 25 minutes from the hotel, for the Wedding party and relatives staying at the hotel. First of all the scheduling and communication with Dave was very professional and quick. He gave me a great rate for all our transportation needs that weekend. Our Driver to and from the airport was Dennis he was at the airport waiting for us before we arrived and was ready to go on time. Same when we returned to the airport. Our drivers to and from the rehearsal dinner, forgot their names, were great. On time very professional. Everything could not have gone better. I highly recommend and also thank everyone at Royal Limousine for making the weekend of our sons wedding a memorable one.

I used Royal Limousine Service for my birthday this past Saturday. I rented the party bus and it was spectacular, absolutely beautiful. It even had ice already for our drinks. Our driver was Dennis, he was amazing, extremely polite, and engaging. I cant say not one bad thing, everything was perfect. I must say you guys made my birthday night absolutely amazing. Thank you so much, I will definitely be using you guys again.

We worked with Royal Limo for our wedding shuttle and everyone LOVED them. Our driver was Leonard and he rocked. All of our guests told us how punctual and safe and friendly Leonard was. We rented the Mercedes limo bus. Very nice ride- we had 9 adults and could have had 10 or 11 no problem. Corey was our driver and was fantastic, always offered to take pictures of the group and just a great guy in general.

I rented the 14 passenger limo bus for my sisters birthday this past weekend. Dave was the gentleman I worked with in making the reservations for the bus and Johnny was our driver. Very pleased with my experience. Bus was beautiful, clean, and had plenty of room to move around. Our driver Johnny was polite, professional and accommodating. Couldnt have imagined having a better experience. I would highly recommend Royal Limousine service and will definitely use them again in the future!Kelly G.

If I could leave zero stars I would! Just weeks before my event, owner called and stated their bus broke down...offered a limo from elsewhere- which seems super shady! And hung up when we asked for our refund back! AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!Edit: Company stated they offered me a refund, Nope. Had to dispute it with my bank. Went with another company. Hired Royal Limousine for a recent bachelor party on a weekday night.I received a call from the dispatcher a few hours before scheduled service to confirm pickup time and address. However, I was also notified at that time that the limousine I had reserved, a Lincoln MKT Stretch, was unavailable because the escape hatch was broken the night before. I was informed that they would instead upgrade us to a limousine bus at no cost. Ok, fine. But why they waited to notify us of this until ~4 hours before service, when they knew the escape hatch was broken the night before, was disappointing. We were getting ready to go to our first bachelor party activity when we were called and notified of this - We planned this service months in advance, and the courtesy we were afforded was notification of a change ~4 hours before service.We were ready to go at our pickup location up to 15 minutes before scheduled service. No communication was received from our driver (Nick), and finally the scheduled start time hit. One of the groomsman asked if it was possible that the driver was just sitting outside. I thought there was no way that would be, because that would be unprofessional. Well, we walked outside and the limousine “bus” that we were “upgraded” to at no cost was just parked in the parking lot and the driver was doing things on his phone. We knocked on the window to get the drivers attention, and he finally acknowledged us (after not calling and/or texting to let us know he was there and ready).The limousine they sent was a Mercedes Sprinter Van, not a limo “bus”. In no way was it as flashy as a Lincoln MKT stretch, nor did it seem like an “upgrade”. So I found the conversation I had with the dispatcher a few hours before to be quite misleading.The actual service rendered was adequate - We were picked up and dropped off safely.Towards the end of our originally scheduled service, we also asked the driver if we would be able to extend the service. The driver was open to additional time if we paid for that time in cash. But the driver was awkwardly adamant that we paid him the cash before the additional time was rendered. It was a bit strange because my credit card was on file with Royal Limousine, but we paid the driver the requested cash upfront to extend the time. Maybe he wanted the cash upfront because he only wanted to provide additional time if he could pocket cash and not have to report the additional time to the dispatcher (which would result in less direct compensation for his time, because the limousine company would take its cut)? I’m not sure.We got back to our dropoff location about 10 minutes past the scheduled dropoff time (which was an hour beyond the originally scheduled dropoff time because we extended the service by an hour by paying the driver the cash he requested). At dropoff, the driver approached me to advise that typically he would charge an additional hour for going over the agreed upon time. But the way he said it, it didn’t come off as if he was asking for an additional hour of payment (in cash). It was almost like as if he stating that he was doing us a favor by not charging us an additional hour, in hopes that we would give him some more cash. Considering that he never contacted us at pickup, and Royal Limousine was quite misleading in the alternate vehicle they sent us, I ignored his comment. And we parted with one another.If you are looking to use a limousine company in Detroit, also be wary in general. Many of the companies, including Royal Limousine, are crafty in how they describe their rates during quotes. Particularly when it comes to whether or not the gratuity is included or not in the quoted rate. I actually wound up booking with Royal Limousine because of the quoted rate and the way it was described, then found out the quoted rate did not include gratuity. And for the same price, I could have booked with another reputable company and gotten a better vehicle (a Landrover Stretch, better than a Lincoln MKT Stretch and certainly better than a Mercedes Sprinter Van).

I have been using Royal Limousine Service for a long time now and Im always very pleased with their service. Always clean, professional and on time.

The service was not what I expected that I was told that I would receive a party bus instead I was given a shuttle bus for my transportation at my 60th birthday event I am very disappointed the driver was dressed inappropriately and I will be speaking with Royal limousine on Monday I will not recommend this service and I will not use this service again
