I called about 10 different appliance repair companies and they were the only company that was available to come out the same day. Both employees that I dealt with were very professional, helpful and efficient. Repairman was on time, polite, explained the situation and was able to solve it in a reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

Gas line to dryer was never turned back on upon delivery of appliance from Costco. Service guy came during time I was notified of. He quickly figured out the problem and was able to show us what was missing and proved the dryer was heating up. Great first time service!

Repairman did not check the lower burner when we told him oven not heating up properly. Told us we needed a new mother board at a cost of over $700.00. Used another repair service that replaced lower burner for a total of $170.00. Believe your charge of $149.00 to come out and the repairman was a total fraud. Will not use your service again!

Charged me $250 to give me a $600 estimate to repay my microwave. When ib signed up for the call, in was told the appliance was still under warranty. It was not! I also accepted a service call to maintain my refrigerator. I canceled when it became apparent this was all just to get into my house and upsell me.Total scam. Stay away....

I was very dissatisfied with Sears Repair costs and policy. The repairman was not to blame for the following opinion. A replacement part costing $52 (Sears price was $72) and took me about 15 minutes to replace. If I had accepted Sears repair service, it would have cost $380 plus $149 diagnosis fee for the repairman to come out per Sears pricing and policy. That is more than the cost of a new stove. This is sheer greed and this is the last Kenmore product I will ever purchase.

The service was for a GE dryer that stopped working, dryer light went out and the dryer did not start. The Technicians got the light on and the dryer running again but it is now blowing cold air. When they tested their work they had to know that it was blowing cold air. I just remember that the Tech kept stressing that the service was good for 90 days but that only covers the work performed. Since he never addressed the cold air that will require another cost. I am very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I called for repair on my old washer on a wednesday afternoon. A repair man showed up early on Friday and replaced a rusted out part with one he found in his old model spare parts collection in his truck. The washer now works like new. I praise this service as more environmentally friendly than any replacement alterturnative.

I am very unhappy with the frequency of repair on my sears products. This is the third product that has been repaired within the past three years and the appliances are all under 5 years old. This includes two refrigerators and one microwave. I dont think I will every purchase another sears appliance again. I believe that I should be compensated for these appliances. This has nothing to do with the repair persons that came to the house.

The technician arrived well within the time frame previously communicated to me. He diagnosed the issue with our dish washer immediately and proceeded to fix it. Work was done very quickly and expertly. The technician clearly was experienced and explained each step of the repair to me. He was also personable and friendly. The machine now runs like it was new. Overall a very satisfactory experience. I would recommend Sears home appliance insurance to anyone based on this experience.

The mechanic was in time and did an outstanding job to time the choke. He also filled the air in the Craftsman tractor mower as an added benefit.Sears still takes care of their customers - the old fashioned way. They earn their business. Very happy with Sears over all

The actual was fine. However, I am being harassed by Sears billing department to pay my bill. I paid by credit card, which the tech handled at the time of service. I have a paid receipt from Sears and its also on my credit card statement. I have sent both to their billing department. But continue to get bills from them. When you call the phone number, you don not get a human. Just a message with prompts to pay your bill. I will never use Sears again and will not refer anyone to them.

Sears extended warranty is worth every penny!!! Had their techs come out a few times on our new Bosch dishwasher where bottom rack kept falling off track...they tried everything according to Bosch...replaced bottom rack, replaced the wheels, replaced wheels with Boschs supposed fix it kit. Turns out, tub warped inside. Tech was smart enough to measure and find the difference, got straight to Bosch... they are replacing it!

Our dryer stopped providing heat.The Sears appointment process was easy, and the repairman arrived in the early part of the appointment time window. The problem was quickly diagnosed and the needed part was on the truck. The whole thing took less than 30 minutes. I consider that excellent, and its what Ive come to expect of Sears extended warranty repair service over many years.

Just moved into our new home and have a 1 year warranty on appliances. Called Sears on monday to come check out our stove because the left side is not igniting. Sears scheduled us for Wednesday between 12-4. They did not call but instead TEXTED us at 3:30 to be rescheduled for the following day for the same time. Thursday we receive a call that the tech supposedly had an emergency so will need to be rescheduled once again. We opted out. Today we just received a call asking us how the service was. Working in customer service I can be very lenient on things because I understand. However I will never support sears after this.

The repairman came in with an attitude.... Gave a 5 minute notice before he arrived - in a four hour waiting time frame... really? Wanted to do only one garage door and thought he would charge another service visit to touch the second garage door!! The spring on garage door was broken - not his job - call another tech!!!!. The service charge is just for pulling into the driveway!. No initial labor included. Charged extra money for labor. All round POOR. POOR attitude, POOR policy, POOR execution POOR training...... And it gets better.. He wanted me to hear a sales pitch on Sears Home Appliance Warranty... Sure!

Very satisfied with my service. I called and was given thorough information. The service call was scheduled quickly and described in detail as to what would happen. I was not available to be at home when the service person came, but the person who stood in for me was happy with everything. The only complaint that I have, would be that the temperature on the Hot Water Heater had been set too low to complete the service and I was not aware of this till later. I understand the reasoning for making this a standard practice, but a note informing me of this would have been helpful to make adjustments prior to needing hotter water.

Great experience! My repair person was excellent and was very detailed in checking my Kenmore dryer; plus, he took the time to explain everything to me. I also asked him to check something with my washer and he did that as well.Ive had my Kenmore washer and dryer for 15 years and this was the first time I had to make a service call, so you cant go wrong with a Kenmore appliance!

I gave 3 star, not because of the person that did repairs on our washer - he was a 5 star and saved this from being a 1 star review, but because of the person I contacted when setting up the appointment. I described our problem and even gave the part name and number to the person scheduling our appointment. We were told the repair technician would have the part on his truck. We waited 2 weeks for the appointment. The part that we identified as broken was in fact broken but was not on the technicians truck. The part had to be ordered and sent to our house. We had to wait for that to happen and then wait for our appointment. Very frustrating when you have to wait so long just to get an appointment, wait at your house for a 4 hour window, and then do it all again because someone did not know what they were doing. We have used Sears Repair for a long time. We have always been really pleased with it, but the last 2 times have not been as good. It seems like the quality is slipping.

Repair was very easy for the technician. He was nice and professional. He changed the expected arrival time 4 times and ended up 1.5hrs. past the latest time window provided. It was a 10 minute repair, but a flat rate, that I thought was excessive. The tech did not replace several of the parts he removed and did not complete mounting the dishwasher. I would think twice before using them again.

The technician was great. 5 stars there. However, on the first iteration, the motor was defective and a wrong control panel was sent, necessitating a second week. Also, the appointment is in a 4 hour window. A reminder phone call is sent the day before, but not one the same morning that warns you that he is on-the-way a few minutes out. Instead, I got an email after he was gone.

The repairman was friendly and knowledgeable and got the job done. However, the repair cost $260 - $80 for the part and $180 for the repair. He was at my house about 15 min to diagnose, then went to do something else, including to get the part, and the repair took less than 15 minutes. I feel this was a ridiculous amount for the labor and I will likely not contact Sears again for appliance repair.

I need to be very careful here on this rating.1) the actual service people that came out were outstanding, efficient, courteous, and professional.2) The customer service people that took my call, scheduled the appointment, and made a complete disaster of the day, were horrendous, didnt understand what I even wanted, could not speak English very well, and several other things.Again, the actual service, after it was carried out was fantastic. We were given an appointment date within a few days from our call. The tech arrived 1/2 early, called to see if this new time was ok, gave us a detailed explanation of the problem, offered suggestions on what we could do to avoid this problem in the future, was very pleasant, and was gone within 1/2 hour. We were very pleased with the knowledge and friendliness of the appliance repair technician that came to our home.

My service call was for a 1 year warranty check-up on my dishwasher and stove. Both servicemen were great. My complaint is that it is extremely inconvenient for people like me who work to have to wait for 2 different service reps. to complete the visit. If I dont have a repair problem, only an annual check, why cant one service man check both appliances. Waiting for 2 people to show to do the check-up added an additional 1-1/2 hours to the appointment. Sears previous way of operating and have 1 serviceman for this type of call was much more efficient and much more customer driven than your present process.

This was not a repair yet an annual warranty maintenance check. This was one appliance/technician amongst 4 appliances/3 technicians. We had the refrigerator technician which you are referring to and 2 other techs; 1 for the dishwasher and 1 for the stove-oven & microwave oven. The ovens tech showed 1st, the other two almost simultaneously as the first tech was done therefore, it looked as though we were having an A & E van party! The best was that they were ALL in and out between 8 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. or so.

We were experiencing major ice build up with our door ice maker. Our repairman called ahead of time before he came. He also covered his shoes many times on the rainy afternoon, as he went back and forth to get parts from his truck.The problem wasnt easy to find, but he persisted and got to the problem. Almost 2 weeks later, and my freezer is dry and no ice buildup. The first repairman didnt take the time to find the problem.I wish I could remember his name!

Just to be clear I am just reviewing Sears appliance repair in general and not this exact location.I had an appointment set up for yesterday, June 18 between 12:00 and 4:00 pm. Technician never made it to my home. I never got a call to let me know what was going on. To make matters worse I stayed home from work waiting on them to show up later after giving their 1-888 number a call to see what was going on. 5 hours later I also had a chat with a representative who couldnt give me any answers or info other than confirming that the previous person I spoke to had made a request to a technician to contact me when they are on their way to my home.Now I have no idea if they are going to send out someone today on June 19 and if they are at what time. One thing is for sure Im not staying home waiting on them.I would expect this from some 3rd world country business but I wasnt expecting it from Sears....Edit...I contacted Sears through the email that was provided here to me. They never repplied and just set a new appointment. This time the technician did come to my home and found out what was wrong with it ordered a part and set an appointment for today July the 10th. So they came today while I was at work and turns out the compressor they ordered is not good. Now they rescheduled for July 21. At this rate my fridge will get fixed some time next year. Meanwhile I was stupid enough to sign up to Sears home repair service that is $69.95 a month. If this is how they fix things you might as well buy a new appliance or go with someone else.

Wish I could give negative stars for the completely unacceptable level of service recd from this company and its representatives. The 4 star rating cant be legit as I know others who have had issues with Sears too. My moms microwave oven broke so she called Sears Home Services. Their 1st visit was Apr14 2018. They ordered a part, came back to install but it didnt work, ordered another part. They were out to the house 3x and still not fixed. They have resheduled multiple times and 2 no shows with no call/notification. I posted on social media and IMd with MN and then KL to set up appt for today noon to 4pm. They dropped the ball. Called at noon to get ETA and told appt had been rescheduled. Spoke to Cinci who was polite but useless and just kept repeating that they didnt have a tech to send today. Im not surprised Sears is going out of business. Products are poor quality and now see service is terrible too.

This is not what you call service. The technicians didnt have much experience with my Bosch oven and they did not know where the part was that needed replacement. That is OK but they didnt know how to set the clock and then left without turning the oven on to test it.I turned the oven on after they left to test to see if they fixed it. Two minutes later the oven shut down with an error code. I called Sears service 5 minutes after the technicians left to get them back there to fix it right. They couldnt do that and wanted me to schedule another day off work and make another appointment. Needless to say I was not very happy with Sears service nor will I ever be.No more Sears service contracts for this household.

I felt the cost was too high given what I could have bought the replacement part for(we were charged 3x for the part); and the cleaning we agreed to for an extra charge left a lot of dirt in our kitchen after it was finished. There was also pressure to buy the ...appliance repair package... and get a 50% cost save to todays repair charges (which were more in line with what it should have cost to begin with). When asked how much the package cost the answer was that it saves 50% today and what the monthly recurring cost would be(no info on how long the payments would last). A friend in the business from another State spoke highly of Sears Repair so we tried it...

I attempted to get several appliance repair companies out the next day since our refridgerator was down and a week before Christmas it was critical. I had two companies that scheduled me but then called me back and told me that they didnt work on my kenmore products even though their website said they did, they didnt work on the items manufactured by Samsung or LG. First service call was a bust, the servicing of the furnace and humidifier turned into no hot water in the whole house in the middle of January! Then Sears could not get a tech back to fix the mess for 48 hours!!However when a tech came back out all repairs were made and the tech was very professional and friendly. All in all I would use Sears Home Services again.

The repairman initially thought the problem was a simple adjustment. That did not turn out to be the case. After a number of adjustments, my garden tractor was running as smoothly as the day l bought it. He knew what he was doing and got it done quickly. Also he didnt mind me asking questions as he worked. It was a very pleasant experience. I thank him for his expertise. 5 starsUnfortunately, the tractor did not operate well for long. It quit working. I called and was given an appointment in two weeks. The technician came, stayed maybe 10 minutes. He said that my tractor needed a new carborator and two new ignition modules. The parts had to be ordered. Again two weeks later a technician came to install the parts. The tractor worked fine while the technician was at my home. After he left, I mowed the grass for about 1 hour when the tractor quit working. I immediately called Sears demanding that the techincian return. I was told that was not possible, a return visit was scheduled for 1 week (that was an imrovement at least). I demanded to speak to a supervisor when I made the call to Sears. I was told there wasnt one. I was puzzled. I eventually found out that I was dealing with a call center in the Phllippines!!!!! That is amazing! So, if you have a problem with a repair, immediately after the technician leaves, you have no recourse with Sears. You have to call the Phillippines to schedule another visit in one to two weeks.I am very dissatisfied with Sears repair service, I will not be making another major purchase (the tractor was $2500.00) at Sears.

I wasnt home when the repair was done. To repair a dishwasher for $300 when it cost $400 new was ridiculous. The repair person should have told my husband to re- think it rather than trying to sell him a warranty. The repair was done right but it was replacing a motor not rocket science.
