My son is special needs and after doing tons of research and speaking to other families in the same situation I was recommended to Del Martial Arts. It has been the best decision I have made for my son. I drive 40 minutes to get to the location and would not ever take my son anywhere else for lessons. The owner Paul as well as his employees are top notch. They are dedicated to working with these kids/adults and are compassionate and hardworking wanting your child to learn but also be disciplined and have a good time all at once. If you have any hesitation do not any longer. You are putting your loved one in safe hands.

Del Martial arts is highly recommended, their staff and facility has great structure, accommodations are made based on student and family needs to ensure best development for kids. The staff support the community and families is very consistent. My experience is with my sons classes and staff are exceptional.

We meet Master Del at a street fair years ago, and he suggested having my daughter try a class. Years and many belts later she is still taking classes. She enjoys the classes and we are so proud of the accomplishments she has made. This past year has been particularly helpful in keeping her engaged. Master Del was able to pivot so quickly to keep the classes going, and we couldnt be more thankful. He truly cares about his students, as does his whole team. Highly recommend!!

My daughters just started over a month ago and they love it. Were actually a little surprised at how much the older one has taken to it but Master Del makes the classes fun and challenging but still within their comfort zone which has helped them (especially the older one) build their confidence and self-esteem. They look forward to going each class and always want the class to go longer.

The instructors are great with the kids and do a great job of pushing the students to do their best. They provide a low instructor:student ratio. The instructors provide practical applications for self-defense, with the balanced of self-esteem, confidence and discipline. It is a great program! So glad we joined Del Martial Arts 5 years ago!

Master Del and his staff are an exceptional team. When my son, who has special needs, started the program, Master Del already gave me great encouragement and confidence that Daniel would do well in the program. He started with 1:1 lessons and gradually advanced him in the group classes. Although Daniel has had difficult times, the staff have been so patient with him. With their positive attitude and perseverance, Daniel reflects off of that and is able to follow through well in class. He is progressing very well and am looking forward to his future achievements. We couldn’t be more thrilled with Del Martial Arts. The instructors are professional and patient with children of all abilities. We started with the Tots program and moved up to the beginner class recently. We drive over 30 minutes to the studio because it’s the best fit for our son with special needs although classes are inclusive. There isn’t a studio closer to home that compares. Master Paul is very accommodating to the kids and doesn’t pressure them to test.

Ive been through Del Martial Arts both as a student (age 5-18) and an assistant in my early 20s. Not only does Master Del Sordo excel at motivating his students with energetic, organized classes; he also is sensitive to their individual needs and is able to hone in on ways to improve their confidence, technique, and focus. My son has been attending Del Martial Arts for the past 6 years. Master Del’s program is great as it blends physical training with discipline and respect. I trained in martial arts as a youth as the mental training is as important as the physical side. He is accredited with Moo Duk Hwan program and the art is Soo Bahk Do which comes from the original ancient martial arts from Korea. The program is really about training in the art as opposed to “dozens” of multi-colored belts and a constant barrage of tests to get more money from students. I’ve seen too many studios go down this path these days. A race to get black belt as “fast as you can”. It has made him more fit, confident and now he can help teach younger students which is also a great life skill. I definitely recommend it.
