Love this beautiful place! Great plants, great staff. We worked there (at the old location) thirty years ago. Glad to see attention to detail is still a top priority.

We return over and over again for two main reasons. Curt is willing to look for trees and shrubs from suppliers that Sundown doesnt normally carry. And the guys who plant at our house are fantastic. They are the best weve encountered. They take care and do the job right. You may be able to beat the prices elsewhere, but youll be hard pressed to beat the service.

Hi! We moved to Indiana this past summer, and were looking to add a patio and a firepit and do some landscape work. We asked our new neighbors for recommendations and Sundown Gardens made everyone’s list. We got estimates and Sundown’s was easily the most interesting design, and David, one of the partners, took the time to draw up the plan, and walk us through the details.The project took a bit of time, weather wasn’t cooperative, but David always was very communicative and we knew that our project was a priority. Like all projects, there were small issues, but they always came back to fix them. For instance, our sprinklers needed adjusting, and they made a trip to come by and adjust.We are very happy with the result. We highly recommend David’s team and Sundown.

Sundown Gardens is amazing. We buy all of our plants there. The customer service is fabulous. They have made us customers for life. The garden shop is the perfect place to find special items for yourself and others.

Really not sure what to rate this place, but I will start with 4 stars.. I have only been there one time and was greeted nicely and then someone came in then showed me some trees that I was kind of in the market for but didnt have what I wanted and said that they would see if they could get a smaller version, to keep my cost down...I did notice on the one tree they showed me, the cost of them to deliver and plant it was $279 on a $399 tree..I believe that it was a 30 gallon root.I now have taken one star away because when I was there 11 months ago, they didnt have the size tree that I wanted, to keep costs down, they were supposed to order it for me and I havent heard anything from them and the last time I was there, 10 months ago or so.So, I probably wont go back. I have given up on that.

We have purchased a number of plants at Sundown and are very pleased. Curtis has been very helpful and patient helping us pick out the appropriate plant material. Patrick has also been delightful.

Very nice shop with plenty to choose from. Staff in the yard are very friendly and helpful. However, Sue is not the representative you want answering your phones and selling your home decor. For someone who doesnt wear her mask until someone walks in and then proceeds to chastise other customers not wearing theirs is hypocrisy at its peak. Add to this, Sue has no problem airing her personal issues with complete strangers. All the while not making any attempt to sell the overpriced tchotchkes. Really nice stuff for the house but were completely turned off and felt compelled to leave. Someone friendly would clean up selling those items.

Perhaps driving lessons should be part of the training for driving one of your large trucks around. While behind truck 33 today, he cut off traffic by not stopping as he entered a round about and then later proceeded to make a sudden left hand turn without a turn signal or any warning. Driving a vehicle of that size should make your drivers extra cautious, not make them feel invincible as they ignore standard common courtesy and the rules of the road.

I called Sundown based on the recommendation of my mother in law who has used them for decades. We have several dead patches in our yard that I wanted help with. Anthony came out and looked everything over. He was very professional and knowledgeable and I felt very confident with the plan that he was advising. He told me that he was going to talk to their lawn care guy and he would get back to me with a quote. That was March 13th. I havent hear from him since. I have sent him two emails and one voicemail. Nothing. Im not sure why he would waste my time and his own and come out here in the first place only to ignore all communications. Maybe it wasnt a big enough job. Thats too bad, because we have a whole back yard that I want to landscape in the near future. Never again will I call them.

Great job plowing our snow this winter. Easy to contact, very dependable and always keeps you informed. Excellent job of cleaning snow and very careful not to damage the surrounding landscape. Great to know Sundown will always be there when you need them.

I have always heard good things about Sundown Gardens but never had a reason to use them until I needed to replace a tree next to my patio.Patrick was very informative and helpful regarding which tree would be a good replacement choice. I chose a beautiful River Birch, which was installed yesterday. The installation crew was on time, very courteous, efficient and totally cleaned the area before they left. I will definitely visit with Sundown Gardens again.

Anthony provided accurate information about the health of my tree. However, his demeanor and attitude towards me was so poor I had to validate his comments with another landscaping professional. When someone disrespects and marginalizes you as a person how can you trust what they say?When I asked to speak to the owner, he called me back saying he was a partner and therefore one of the owners. He is a landscape designing partner not an owner. So he further misrepresented himself to avoid my ability to escalate my complaint within the company on how I was treated.

Great customer service. I wanted three azaleas and, when I discovered they didnt have what I wanted, (I was trying to get them out of season), the employees were very quick to make a plan for getting me a few azaleas ordered soon and said I could look them over and purchase them if I wanted. No pressure to purchase. Everything they ordered was very high quality and a good price. I love this place.

We made a significant investment choosing Sundown to design and install over 50 plants in our backyard. They are priced on the higher end of the market but with a good design and the promise of a one year warranty we made the commitment.The initial install was delayed with very little communication but finally happened after several reschedules and looked good. When plants died off within the warranty is when we really had problems.Several emails, texts, and phone calls went unreturned. When they finally came out they tried negotiating half of the cost of replacement and made us feel like they were doing us a favor. Months and months passed with dead plants They even told us to call their wholesaler to schedule a tree replacement. That was a funny one, he was in Florida on vacation for a month or two and told us hed get back to us when he returned. They told us there was nothing they could do about it. That was their only tree guy.Classic job of over promising and under delivering and the problems go all the way up to ownership. They should either lower prices and drop the one year warranty or make the investment and cultural changes within the company to deliver on whats been promised. Ultimately they seemed frustrated when we called them out for not returning calls or texts and wanting our plants and trees replaced. Not a good feeling for home owners - especially if youve invested tens of thousands of dollars with them. You get the feeling that their bread and butter is large corporate accounts or home owners who wont hold them accountable for timely and warrantied service.This is the first and only one star review weve given.

Absolutely incredible customer service and selection! For those of us in Westfield, this is a hidden gem! The staff is very helpful and kind - definitely don’t try to up sell you on plants that wouldn’t succeed in your garden. I was directed to proper options and provided helpful instructions for keeping my plant healthy. This is a wonderfully run business and it will continue to gain my business!

I had a very expensive paver patio installed as well as landscaping.Sundown moved a French drain to a location which now is creating a huge problem between my neighbors and I’s house. The lawn is dead and mildew is growing.The plants and trees look very ill and are half dead. When I called them about it, they told me to wait until next year to see if they make it. We have spent the entire summer looking at an unbecoming landscape that was better before they came in with these plants!They forgot a stone feature in the install and when I called them about it, they dropped a huge stone off while I wasn’t home that doesn’t match the patio and sticks out like a sore thumb but it’s too large for me to move or do anything with.The most frustrating part is actually getting ahold of someone that will actually do something about it. Once you write the check.... you’re no longer a meaningful customer. Incredibly disappointed with the quality and service. Choose someone else.

Now doing all of our landscaping and sprinkler system. EXCELLENT work. Crews are very courteous and conscientious. Couldnt be more pleased!

What beautiful gardens! The staff was so helpful and treated me like family. I ended up purchasing gorgeous Cranberry Creek boxwoods and hostas for a shady area. I cant wait to go back for the pumpkin patch and hot cider. Sundown is a must visit place.
