Had my first haircut and beard trim today at Kennedys in Westfield. I reached out to Sammy who got me booked with Juan. The shop is really nice, clean, and professional. From the front desk to the cut, everything was exceptional and very welcoming. I recently moved to Westfield and was in need of a Barber. As most of you know, trying to find a new person to cut your hair the way you like is a daunting task. From the time you walk in to the time you walk out, the staff makes you feel like they knew you you’re whole life... it’s a great place...It’s difficult to find someone who you can trust with your beard.. I shave my head so can’t mess that up. As for my beard, I am very particular... I can honestly say Sam knows how to listen to the customer and give you exactly what you want, knows how to fade, blend, trim and straight razor shave. Hair is his profession and he knows what he’s doing. Especially during COVID they are extremely clean and follow strict protocols. He will be the one to make sure I look good for my wedding come May... if we’re allowed to have one.

Sammy is a true professional who takes his time and never makes me feel rushed to get in and out like I have experienced at some barber shops in the past. He has been cutting my hair for a couple of years now and his level of service as always been high and professional. Sammy and the rest of the staff have very warm joking personalities that always make you feel like part of the family. The size of the barber shop is also great during times like this, they seat every other barber chair which is more than 6 feet apart, take temperature checks upon arrival and ask that you use the hand sanitizer they provide at the front desk. I would highly recommend this location and anyone looking for a fresh cut and/or shave should definitely give Sammy a try!

Kennedys has a great atmosphere and is a relaxed place to get a haircut. Great to be able to bring the boys as part of the deal. Can definitely recommend Iza for a great haircut and I look forward to my standing appointment every 2 weeks. Interaction with the entire staff is really good.

My stylist was Christine- had 11am appointment on sep 26 (so that they can’t say that we don’t have record of your appointment). I went for a regular haircut. I asked her to cut hair using scissors only - she did follow this instruction but it didn’t seem like that she was interested- she just cut few millimetres of hair here and there and got it done - it was more like a cleanup/trimming than full hair cut- after shower I discovered that hair cut is not even at lot of places. I won’t recommend this place or stylist.

Kennedys offers great haircuts. My son and I have been going for years. Their barbers are always punctual, friendly and easy to talk to. Most recently, Iza Ochoa has been cutting whats left of my hair. Iza makes people feel comfortable, especially children, provides a great cut and makes making appointments super easy. I get a haircut here about every two weeks with Sammy. Every cut is always what I want, done with precision. Always good conversation, and he always greets everyone who comes in and says goodbye as they leave, not to mention he knows everyone’s name. Highly recommend.

Great barbershop! Clean, professional and comfortable. You can schedule appointments online making it convenient and quick. The staff is professional and always welcoming. Sammy is a traditional barber and does a great job. I have two cowlicks that other barbers could never work with. Sammy took the time to ask about preferences and problem spots then cut my hair to manage these annoyances to perfection. Definitely recommend Kennedy’s.

I moved to Westfield this past summer and someone recommended Kennedy’s. I didn’t think I was a Barber Club guy but I’m all in. I had a great first visit with Grace where I got a hair cut, shave and I even got a hand massage by someone on the team. Grace is great. She’s a great barber, very friendly and I trust her advice on what l should be doing with my hair. I’ve also become a beard guy for the first time because I trust that she can help me maintain it. I’m now a member of the Club and will take advantage of the location being right off the train to pop in after work for a beard trim or quick haircut when ever I need it. Everyone there is very friendly and if you’re looking for a place for a good haircut or a full service shave experience you need to visit Kennedy’s in Westfield.

Sandy is awesome! Called the morning of for an appointment to get a skin tight fade. It came out exactly how I wanted it. You also can’t beat the service they offer with the hair wash, hot face towel and hand massage. Always leave feeling like a million bucks!

I joined the club this month. I had 2 good cuts from Norma then this disaster. The receptionist doesn’t know the policies and what she does know she conveys inaccurately. I was told by the owner to try a different barber after a horrific haircut but at these prices, $45 a cut, everyone should be good. He actually told me “but the other side is good” after seeing the the terrible cut. One side was completely chipped up. I’m going to have to wear a hat for at least 3 weeks. When it grows back, definitely going to a different shop. Needless to say I canceled my membership. What good is soda and a lounge if your haircut is jacked up. If you look at my review on yelp you will see a picture of the terrible cut. Then you can make the decision yourself if you want to go to this shop. Also you can see the fake reviews added after my review. You can see right through them.

Having been through many barber shops over the years, learning what to look for in a quality haircut has become second nature. An extremely friendly staff, attention to detail, and an atmosphere that keeps you hanging around afterwards is exactly what you will find at Kennedys of Westfield. If you get the chance to arrange an appointment with Norma, she will make you feel like a longtime friend from day one, and have you leaving the chair looking and feeling great. In my opinion, there is no better place to get a haircut in Union County.

Great place. Good vibe, great people! Wine Down Wednesday and Thirsty Thursday are just two of the many events they have. And you don’t need a haircut to enjoy those events. The monthly plan is the way to go. You can schedule your whole month of cuts and go as often as you would like. Very friendly and great place to hang out and have a beer while waiting for or getting a haircut.

Definitely a great place to come for haircut. Ive been to a few other establishments including Wolves Den, and Cory Matthews. Place is clean, and staff are fun/friendly. If youre up for it they even throw in a beer. I get my haircut from Jules. Awesome stylist, very attentive, and adds her personal own personal touch to your haircut. I highly recommend this place!

Kennedys baber shop never dissapoints me, as long as I have a reservation. They do their best to get people in, but ALWAYS have a reservation here if you need to be seen. The facilities are clean, staff is friendly, and management is very nice. If you ever have any issues, never hesitate to say so. Plus they have memberships so you dont have to pay for haircuts every two weeks. You can easily get a quality haircut twice or even three times in a week here.

The best shop I ever been to. Friendly staff. Every barber knows exactly how to cut hair, understand your hair style, and make you leave with a smile on your face with the thought that you are looking fresh. Best place by far to get a haircut. Everyone is very knowledgeable and I have never had a bad experience. Environment is fantastic as well. Pool table, tvs, and a free beer while youre getting a haircut! I would never go anywhere else for a cut!

Was in from out of town visiting my brother and sister-in-law. Needed a cut and my brother recommended.Wish we had a Kennedys in Cali. Service was on-point, great hair wash and scalp massage, they gave me a hand massage (everyone gets one), and hot towels and hot lather with a straight razor to clean up my lines. Excellent service - full stop! I moved to Westfield a year ago and couldn’t find a location which provided comfort, quality and convenience... until Kennedy’s. Here it’s the trifecta. Staff is organic and talented. The customer service is top notch. The venue is very inviting. It’s a rare find to get expert styling and barbering in a welcoming, non-pretentious atmosphere. Kennedy’s Westfield is it.

I go during the week and it’s never crowded so I’m in and out pretty quick but still get a very nice haircut.

I wanted to love this place. No matter how much I rationalized to see a positive, *my* experience was bad. Went in for a haircut and a beard shave outline, and left with my beard chopped off / lopsided outlines.I explained to my barber, Matthew, that I was grooming/growing my beard, wanting only a simple shave-outline and a few strays trimmed. Matthew seems like a pleasant gentleman who stated he had 22 years experience. That put me at ease while he began to cut my hair, but quickly noticed there was something odd in manner he was barbering. I was laid back on the barber chair and he began to trim with machine. I close my eyes during all my shaves/trims. I noticed he kept using machine, closer and closer and lower down jawline. Remember, Im growing my beard and only need an outline, I said. The barber kept machining away, Yes, I know. The machine kept grinding while being changed to different settings. There was NO barber standard razor use in outlining and he used an electric razor around mustache and beard; he didnt have hand coordination confidence in the process. When he sat me back up, I grabbed my glasses and noticed my beard was gone. The sides were lopsided and my mustache...one side was angled downwards while the other side was shorter width and curved. I told him I wasnt happy he cut my beard growth off, also noted the lopsidedness. He said that my beard was scruffy with grays and it needed to be trimmed like that. I dont buy that, as all beards are scruffy in some aspects, especially when growing it out (I had 2.5 months growth). I was left with a weeks beard growth that was uneven. He agreed my mustache was lopsided. The solution: he kept using machine, chopping off more mustache on top/bottom to attempt to even it out. Asked me if I wanted a shampoo. I said no, exclaiming that I was too unhappy about my beard / uneven. I wanted to leave straight out the door without paying.I started putting on my jacket and another gentleman said hell be right there (at register). He asked how was everything, but he already anticipated the answer with the look on my face. I was quietly disappointed by beard gone, and use of electric razor that left shadows (also batches of red marks on neck/face) all around my uneven facial hair outline The man explained that he was the manager, to hang tight for a few minutes, that he will fix me up with real razor to make everything even. I declined, explaining that I would feel anxious that he had to correct a problem by someone else who would be right there watching. I let people keep their dignity. He offered a complimentary haircut and beard trim at another location (in Summit). I was so disappointed that I declined. I politely told him to just give me the bill so I can leave gracefully. He charged me for the haircut only ($45), paid 50, thanked him, and left.Their website notes fancy hot towels and gels and a 30-step shave process among other stuff: my experience included nothing like advertised. Sure, I went for a beard outline/gentle trim, but darn, I was outlined with an foiled electric razor. Seriously, who uses a foil elec. razor at an upscale shop? First time Ive encountered that. My beard...the biggest heartbreak. Bearded men would understand this feeling. Youre growing it and want it outlined right before an important affair, and its all wrecked. I literally shed tears on my way to my car.The manager was very nice and genuinely wanted to work with me. I could have taken the complimentary haircut/shave/beard for the other location, but thats not my nature. This place is expensive with all sorts of upgrades. What I received was a bad butchered haircut/beard that was done solely with clippers. Its fair for one to expect the promised experience as their website depicts. It did not happen. As much as I wanted to love this place, I cannot. I believe my experience was due to a new, middle-aged barber they were testing out. Avoid Matthew.
