I just got amazing service from this Valvoline. I have been to many Valvolines across the United States but this one stood out particularly because of their amazing customer service and care for their craft. The management team, as well as the individual mechanics/technicians are all fantastic. I will go here from now on for anything I need.
Overall it wasnt a bad experience except when they showed me my engine filter and put it back they didnt make sure it was in correctly and they pinched and broke a piece off of my air filter. Next time take your time and make sure everything is place back they way you found it.
All of the employees were fabulous! So friendly, happy, polite and courteous. Seemed so happy doing their job. They made me smile through the whole experience. Highly recommend.~Pound cake lady

Always awesome, they dont pressure you to spend money on anything, they let you know what needs to be done soon based on your mileage or necessity. Very fast, you can either stay in your car while they do everything or hand the keys to them and hang out. All the employees are nice and know what theyre doing. Much prefer going here instead of Midas, even though theyre a little more expensive.

Went there to get some headlights changed in an Outback because its new to me and the setup is a bit tricky. The crew was fast and courteous, plus I didnt even have to get out of the car. Price was a flat rate, so I wasnt concerned with how long it took, but they got me in and out very quickly.
After struggling with a tough gasket (understandable), dropped the torque wrench fitting in the engine compartment, then called out and started adding the wrong oil and amount, which I had to quickly yell was incorrect. Was told they drained what was put in... no way to verify, then they finished adding the correct oil. Due to poor communication, attempted to have me pull the truck out before verifying the torque wrench fitting had been retrieved. Received call today offering a “free oil change” on my next visit to fix their reputation but I will not be returning.

The “drive-thru” service was great and really convenient. As soon I pulled in I was greeted and directed to a bay. The employees were super friendly and very professional. It was a great service overall.
Awesome service techniques and protocols amidst-the-on-going phase out(s) of a this COVID-19 pandemic. Within minutes, about two to be exact, I was greeted by a well manicured woman and I was guided into the bay. Instantly, as the team communicated, I was able to differentiate between status levels. I then realized that the manager/supervisor on duty, the one in charge of everyone else at the moment, was the one who greeted me and guided me in. She ran a tight ship, and I noted her on that. She responded goofily, “There ain’t no better way to do it.” That made me giggle. I didn’t step out of my car once; was approached by a total of 3 different staff members including the manager/supervisor. The 2nd Approacher was a gentleman, as was the 3rd. The 2nd gentleman, also well manicured, wearing clean and crisp work attire, is the gentleman who showed me computational depictions and elaborately elucidated on any thing the team found that needed attention &/or was incompetent under my hood. I received a full-synthetic oil change using Dexos, and also concurred with a filter change after Gentleman #2 revealed my currently used one; not the least bit white & full-of tree members. His position seemed to be the up-salesman; to keep me in the know by answering any questions I had during his real-time presentation of what they were finding. It’s actually a well thought out effort to raise the bar on Guest satisfactory scores; I can’t see what’s happening on the other side of my hood, yet he can see, and he also is trained to understand the mechanical lingo, and translate it into a language the common Joe, or Jane in my instance, can comprehend. I appreciated this aspect. Also, I did not feel cajoled into any marketing or sales tactics; when I said, “No, thank you.”, I felt as though he excepted it and moved on without trying to change my mind or bid me better B.S. Gentleman #3 from the bay, was a brief encounter; He bent down to my passenger window, that was already rolled all the way down, and confirmed the services I wanted preformed. I confirmed the oil change, he bid me adieu, and he politely went on his way. He, I gathered, is the actual servicer, or Mechanic. So, all in all, the leader ran a tight ship. I am giving 3, not 5, stars for 3 particular reasons. Number one; their prices. I paid a whopping $117.68 for a full synthetic oil change with a filter. No bells or whistles. Number two; I was informed by gentleman number to that new tire air pressure covers, I believe they’re called, were included in the oil change and would be added before I departed. I am missing two. I also was informed by gentleman #2-and just to comment, I am not picking on this gentleman; he was my salesman and him and I did the most in conversing due to this fact. I do believe he was being honest and factual. I believe he forgot to communicate my needs to the Mechanic and team lead. #3; this review relates directly to #2. I also was informed by gentleman number two, that all my fluids, would be topped-off. That expression, at least in my perception, means my fluids, if low, empty, or slightly off, would be filled until fall. This was not done, either. I found it bizarre that the team did not notice two of my tires were missing pressure caps because they checked my tire pressureIf these items are given at no cost, wouldn’t they of added them after my tire pressure was confirmed? Also, they had to adjust my tire pressure, after gentleman #2 check the inside of my driver door and it was confirmed that my back tires were not pressurized correctly. The conversation was good and it was entertaining to witness all the good work that goes into car maintenance. Will I return/recommend? No. At Walmart service centers, I get parallel service, and the price does not touch $100 using Dexos. I think I might have been ripped off in some way in the finances department but the customer service was very hospitable. $118 for a Dexos oil change in an express bay? Bogus. The Service? Radical. The follow through? Mediocre.

This is a standard location for changing oil that did a good job because I didnt have any leeks afterwards or issues. Although like all oil change places there was an effort to upsell a number of items. Try this place out it seems decent and leave us all a response on what your opinion is of this location
To avoid Midas across the street of your store, I will definitely go to your store. Really do not like them! Horrible service and attitude over there! Give you five star for right now just to expect a way better service!

Ive been going to this location for over 10 years. It has changed hands and names several times. The new drive up and stay in your car doesnt work for me. You feel trapped and faced with an in your face hard sell of everything you need besides an oil change. I miss the little waiting room with the tv and coffee. I assume its to be more efficient but didnt like the experience. The guys were very professional though.
Valvoline Oil Change (Westerly, RI) ruined my engine! Overfilled Oil well over maximum dip stick level.Executive at Customer Care and business confirmed it was over after they inspected, stated they filled to manufacture recommendations and not to maximum dip stick level, denied fixing and any wrong doing. Several certified mechanics verified damage to engine when oil overfilled past the Max dipstick line. A 5 minute Google search will verify it!Check your dip stick level after service!
Wow! I am extremely impressed with the service and respect that these people have for their customers. They saw me pulling up to the parking lot and instantly asked if I needed a oil change and got right to it! Ill be coming back here for sure! :)
Put the wrong oil in my car which caused INSANE burning - about a quart every 700 miles. Luckily, I could tell something was up and very quickly added oil and got my next change early. Thinking they had killed my car, I continued to check the oil every day following the second oil change. Not a drop burned. When I told them about this, they insisted they had done nothing wrong and they were not going to do anything about it. Theyre lucky my car made it out okay, or I would be taking a much stronger stance!STAY AWAY!

So quick and fast. Isnt that the perfect oil change? Add in a value for the price and you have my experience at Valvoline. All the employees were polite. I got the feeling they were there to help me not just upsell. They replaced my windshield wipers as well. I had a Groupon and it made a great deal even better. The waiting room was clean and they had a TV. Didnt have time to watch. Thats how quickly they serviced my car?
I drove in and my brakes were fine. I was told that there is no brake pressure in the car, which confused me since I havent had any issues and had the brakes serviced a month ago. Figured I would top off the fluid when I got home. I hopped back in the car the brake light is now on and the brakes dont work. Stuck in a parking lot waiting for my hubby to come fix it.Staff was very nice, but really? I never would have made it there with no brake fluid.

Went in for an oil change before a cross country road trip. They performed the service quickly and informed me I had a tail light out. I paid to have the light replaced and didnt realize until the next day that the tail light is still out. Their listed phone number doesnt work so I cant contact them.Kind of a silly thing to mess up.

Changes Timeline.I bought expensive windshield wipers there 4 months ago (the ones recommended by them because they did not have the stock ones available). Well, they fell apart in about 3 months so I went back today to resolve the situation. The manager (you know, that guy with the baseball hat on sideways) told me that these wipers are not under warranty and that they did not fail, someone must have stolen a part off them and then he just walked away. OK, I just went up the street to their competitor and bought replacements. That is where my wife and I will be getting our oil changes and service in the future. See ya dumbo.
