I love it here. My skin likes the products. This is the only place I could find sugaring on Long Island because my skin does not like waxing. The staff is awesome and friendly, and the music is always great.

I used to be a customer at the Westbury studio but recently transitioned to the Wantagh location. I decided to follow my sugarista Amanda. Every month I get a list of sugaring services done. Amanda is professional, patient, and friendly. She even does breathing exercises with me to calm me down. Every visit is like meeting up with a friend. She always has me leaving clean and hair free! I highly suggest either Barefruit location and you won’t regret booking Amanda either! Lastly this is something that matters to me, everyone from the owner Shari to the receptionist Cindy remembers each client by name.

I have been going to Bare Fruit for 7 months now and my appointments are with Shay for eyebrows and waxing. She’s always on time, and courteous! Both locations are very clean, they take your temperature upon entry, you sign in and you’re good to go. I highly recommend.

Honestly this place was TERRIBLE I wish I can rate it 0 stars. I got my eyebrows laminated and they were fully messed up. They were uneven and also the photo they took and sent to me was photoshopped of my brows saying they came out “amazing” which they didn’t at all. It was photoshopped. One of my eyebrows won’t go down and the hair is just staying up. They don’t give refunds which I provided pictures of how terrible they looked and they couldn’t care less. The place looked old and not clean at all and I felt it was dirty. Overall experience was terrible. POV just got somewhere else there’s so many cheaper and nice places on Long Island to go.

Came in today and worked with Victoria to get my teeth whitened, and let me start by saying i was so nervous thinking “ will this actually work?” and let me tell you, i see such a difference in my teeth. Definitely worth the money, but besides that the staff here are so sweet like their hospitality is just welcoming. Inside the actual rooms, so clean and organized which is a plus especially getting services. I will be back to book different services but so far extremely satisfied. Book Victoria if possible sweetest cutest thing ever!

I scheduled an appointment about 2 1/2 weeks in advance with Shari for a eyebrow consultation & illuminating & another appointment a week later for sugar waxing, intimate bleaching & eye lashes. I called & spoke to a gentlemen a few times to inform them that after making the appointments online I was not receiving any confirmations. He assured me my appointments were in the system & I should be receiving them by that Wednesday (appointment was Friday @6:20PM). I called back Thursday because I had not received any confirmations & wanted to AGAIN CONFIRM my appointment this time I spoke to a female which again CONFIRMED MY APPOINTMENT. I called that Friday late morning to see if they had any cancellations because I would be able to come early if they needed me to. The gentleman asked me for my name & confirmed my 6:20pm & said they had no cancellations for anything earlier. I told him again that I Never received email confirmations like he said I would; but he said dont worry I see both your appointments. Confirming my appointment(s) earlier on the same day. I arrived at 6:15 pm and waited in the hallway bc they were checking someone out & a lady was waiting in front of me. The lady then informed me she was waiting on her daughter & I could go in. I reached the front desk were I was greeted by a very monotone young lady telling me my appointment was cancelled bc I did not reply to the text messages to confirm. I explained to her that I was not receiving any messages via text or emails, & had made several call & spoke to two different ppl & explained & all those times including the same day my appointment was confirmed. She was so rude & rolled her eyes & said well she left & I dont know what you want me to say you have to answer the text otherwise we cancel appointments At this point I was annoyed because clearly she was not listening to what I had to say & did not really care that I was a new customer that was not just getting eye brows done & I had a few friends that were willing to make appointments after my visit. I asked her to send me a text while I was there she did & I received nothing. Then I asked her to delete & reenter my number & see if that helped. It did I received the text in front of her & showed her my phone & at this point I am beyond annoyed. I asked her to cancel my future appointment & walked out. I called back to make sure they refunded my deposit, due to their system NOT working properly. When the young lady answered I hear her speaking to the Sheri person I was scheduled with & says to me I just spoke to her & she said she will refund the money I replied Im sorry this person is still there, & could not see me? the girl forgets to put me on hold & says She wants to speak to you Shari replies “why?” I was beyond insulted. I said “no I would not like to speak to her either”. Clear customer service is not priority for this business where I would have been spending a lot of money & given so many referrals.Mrs. Shari You need a class in customer service, if giving evening appointments on a Friday is an issue I suggests you dont. Im disgusted by the customer service with yourself & the staff at this place. Your entire staffs clearly needs training on how to properly confirm appointments seeing that the gentlemen & female confirmed my appointment every single time I called. Please save your internet apology to make it seem like you care, because if that were the case you would have spoken to me while I was there & made things rights or at the very least apologized for having a system error.

Great staff, great service. I’ve had Monique, and Michelle on different occasions and they are both wonderful ladies. I’ve had the Brazilian done and underarms done. Brazilian came out flawless. I also use the products they recommend for after sugaring and my skin is looking greater and greater each time I use it. I have recommended this establishment to many of my friends already. This place is just awesome I have been going to them for my facial hair sugaring for almost 6 months now and my hair growth is lesser and lesser each time I go. They are professionals and they advice you correctly they are not those kind who just want to make money if there are areas where they would think you don’t need to sugar they will tell u honestly unlike other salons they keep putting your confidence down by saying you have so much hair here and there and then we end up spending so much money that we did not want to. The owner of this place Shari is so nice and very friendly, please give this place a try and you won’t regret it. Mariline was amazing!! So friendly and professional. Not gonna lie I was super nervous about a sugaring Brazillian- me, being a Brazilian job virgin. I was given advice before I went which was helpful & the receptionist & Mariline were both super comforting. The place is clean, bright but relaxing. I was totally at ease with music playing. The R&B was just what I needed to calm nerves. I drove pretty far & wouldve drove further for the quality of service!!!- OH yeah: ☆Tip: building is 2 story office building. No big sign so I drove past it at 1st. ☆

This was my 4th visit for a brazilian and I never had a problem. However this past monday was the most painful experience, a good amount of skin was ripped off and is now raw and extremely painful. Theres still plenty of hair where there shouldnt be. I never see the same girls name twice when I go...lots.of turnover I guess.Next time I will try the wantagh location, hopefully my experience will be better there.

Best waxing place in Long Island period. I came to this location in hopes of getting my brows waxed and a Brazilian wax, and my hopes turned into one of the best experiences ever, I got introduced to sugaring and can I say shari the wax tech did an amazing job telling me the difference between wax and sugaring which now Im addicted to sugaring and she also introduced me to brow tinting. I thought I would just get the ole usual wax for brows and waxing for Brazilian and suddenly I ended up getting a better treatment with a great price! Bare fruit waxing is my new addiction, I gotta have it!! I couldnt of hoped for a better experience thank you.

Never heard of sugaring before but i decided to try it out. when i got to the place it was very nice and comfortable and my wax specialist made it even easier for me to relax and not think about my previous bad experience.She was extremely efficient and gave great aftercare advice.She was not only friendly and professional her speed and technique was superior. A week later, and NO IRRITATION, no bumps, no ingrown hairs, nothing but SMOOTH, hairless skin! I RECOMMEND everybody to go try out bare fruit waxing they are amazing

Goodbyeeee to Shaving and Waxing! It feels so good to finally have a legitimate place for all my hair removal needs. For those that dont know, Sugaring is an ALL NATURAL ancient hair removal technique that removes hair directly from the root and doesnt attach to the skin and tear it like traditional waxing can. I honestly feel and see the difference, and some of my hair has even been permanently removed by constantly coming. Its been worth every penny.Not only is the sugaring here on point, but the vibe is so feminine and relaxing. They play good music and everyone who works here is so friendly. I have long straight lashes and I had been curling my lashes so much and for so long that I damaged them pretty badly. When I heard of Yumi Lashes I was I gotta give it a try. Shari at Bare fruit Sugaring was honest and said that it would take more then one lift to get my lashes to lift. The first time the keratin serum straightened them. Well this is my second time and boy have they lifted!! I love them. Thanks Bare Fruit!!! Go here you wont regret it!

Today was my first time going. I’m usually very picky and almost never satisfied so I just had to comment my experience. The place was nice and clean the receptionist was very friendly and informative. Monique waxed and tinted my eyebrows she was friendly took her time and talked me through each step. I truly enjoyed this place and glad I don’t have to look any further. My only suggestion would be if they could do eyebrow extensions then I’ll be set lol .

The very first time I got a Brazilian 10 years ago, the woman used strips & it hurt like hell but I was hair free for 5 weeks!! I went back a few times but then decided that it just was not worth all that pain. 4 years ago, I figured Id give it another try buy I could only find salons that used hard wax. Well 7 salons & 10 estheticians later, I had no luck with the hard wax. I was NEVER smooth!! I left each & every time with hair still there & it started growing back 3 days later. They all told me the same thing about the hair growth cycle & blah, blah, blah... I didnt believe a word of it! I know what a hair looks like when its been pulled out by the root & what one looks like when it has been ripped off at the surface & this was the problem I was having with the hard wax. It DEFINITELY was not being ripped out from the root b/c if it was, it would not be growing back 3 days later. After going to the last hard waxer every month for 8 months, I decide I was throwing good money after bad & said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! So I did a Google search & found Bare Fruit Sugaring. Ladies, let me tell ya... THIS IS THE SALON FOR ME!!! Not everything is going to work for everybody & hard wax DID NOT work for me. I had a Sugaring session with Daniella & I am smooth as a babies bottom for the 1st time in 10 years!!! People, I implore you..... GO TO THIS SALON!!! IM SO FREAKING HAPPY, I COULD CRY!!! The application process is a little rough & painful but WELL WORTH the results! Just take some pain killers & deal with it.

OMG it was my first time going here and i love the results i got my Brazilian is very smooth and Bald which I LOVE!!!!! I even bought the grape fruit sugar scrub and a roll on serum for my bikini to keep it soft and avoid ingrown hairs, I recommend this place Alot!!!!! She even takes her time and patient and wants to make sure you look clean and hairless free and yes it is painless than any other wax. This is my new waxing place, also known my holy grail waxing place.

Honestly wasn’t worth the $50, I could of gotten my eyebrows threaded 5x for the price I paid for one wax and tint and would have gotten the same result. Got them done today and the tint isn’t even visible
