10/10 stars!!! I have been going to Star Nails since 2017, and I never intend on going anywhere else. Star Nails is easily the best nail salon on Long Island. Sophia (the owner) and her team of nail technicians all have unrivaled talent. They are patient, meticulous, and are very artistic. They also truly care about their customers. Sophia always warmly greets me with a hi there, Valerie! and engages in long conversations with me, asking about events going on in my life. The whole staff is sweet and kindhearted.I also appreciate that I never have felt pressured to pay for something I dont want. The first time I went there, I explained to them I dont want to come in often because I have a heavy, unpredictable work schedule. So they recommended I get the power gel manicure because it is durable and looks great for a long time. I get my nails done on average only once a month and they look great for all of that time!Finally, Star Nails is extremely clean, and they still enforce a mask-wearing policy. As someone who works in healthcare, I appreciate their efforts to keep their customers safe. It is much appreciated!I will happily continue to go to Star Nails for years to come!

I love this nail salon however the other day I wanted Alvin to do my SNS for me so I made an appointment for noon. I came in a half an hour early to soak. A Caucasian lady comes in and instead of them honoring my appointment then let the lady cut in front of me and had the worst nail tech to do my SNS! I was not happy. I told Michelle that next time not to do that! I found that disrespectful. Shame on you Michelle!

I just moved here and I was so nervous to try a new nail place, I was referred here by a girlfriend. This place was better than I ever expected, my feet haven’t been this smooth since I was a baby, I have gotten so many compliments on my nails and the designs done. And the 10 minute massage that Maria gave me was heavenly!!! All of my stress from my day melted away in her hands. Everyone was so welcoming and kind. I will definitely be coming back and referring everyone to star nails!

I’ve been coming to this nail salon for as long as I can remember - and there are two reasons why. One, the staff is always incredibly kind and accommodating. Second, they always make your nails look amazing. There is no other salon I trust to do my nails as well as these girls do!

I have a pair of terrible feet, and I tried several places to have a nice pedicure. Here, Star Nails is the best one I have ever met. The Spanish girls are very professional and kind. They handled my dead skin very well and I have a baby feet every time I came here. And they have a lot of nail colors you can choose. Also they gave me a wonderful powder gel as well! Definitely recommend here!!! Five star is not enough to judge! Excellent place!

Great nail salon! Clean and professional. Love the spa pedicure and gel polish for my nails. Ellie does a great French manicure! New pedicure Massage chairs! I drive 15 minutes just to go to this nail place.

Star nails is the best!!! The salon is super clean and they follow all COVID-19 guidelines. Not only is the staff amazing, but they offer so many gel color options. The Pearl Spa Pedicure is a MUST, it is great for dry skin during the winter time. 15/10, would recommend to anyone. They’re the best.

Star Nails is by far the best nail salon on Long Island. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and Sophia and her staff are phenomenal nail technicians. The salon is always clean and respectful of your appointment time. Sophia and her staff are all so personable and cater to your individual nail needs. Sophia always makes her customers feel at home and values her relationships with them, whether you are a new or familiar face. I always get the star pedicure by any of the pedicure girls and my feet always feel like brand new. The same goes for my manicures. My nails always look on point and the color lasts for a while. This is an appointment that I always look forward to every week.

Im very upset with the way my nails turn out they broke off in the span of a week. I asked for a specific thing and they were going to charge me $80 for that and I said no it’s fine I’ll just get something and they proceeded to proceed to charge me $60 that was completely overpriced. At other salons a charge less than that.

I tried coming here multiple times but I would say three strikes and you’re out my third experience was Walked in and was rushed the entire time. I was told to relax my hands while another lady was filing my skin on other hand and her filing on the other while getting a pedicure! then i misunderstood a question the ownrer asked me and she mumbled under her breath her in language with her other co worker about a color i requested. Didn’t really make me feel welcomed! and was very unprofessional making small remarks. also the sign on the door says they close at 7:30 and she told me over the phone they close at seven and “forgot” to change the sign which is why she was rushing me the entire time. I run a business and i wouldn’t make people coming into my business the way they made me feel !...

Great nail salon and the staff are very nice. The lavender spa pedicure is wonderful. Its $39 but so worth it. Suggest you make an appointment. I made an appointment and didnt have to wait long at all.

What a wonderful place. My daughter treated me to a Star manicure-pedicure. It was relaxing with a hot stone massage. Feet were carefully, thoroughly but gently groomed. Nails looked amazing. Best of all it still looked good a week later.

My best friend recommended this nail salon and I am sooooo glad I went. Sophia was professional and did the BEST JOB on my nails. Thank you so much, I will definitely be back

Owner is not only nasty to her staff but to her customers as well. All my family stopped going there for good. Even though Spanish ladies do a great job.

Sophia and staff are wonderful! This is my go-to place for a good mani-pedi. They offer a good variety of services and have comfortable chairs. Make sure you call for an appointment, as they can get busy!

Absolutely loved this salon, I have been going to this salon for a couple of months, but I fell in love on the first visit. Ellie is awesome! She gives amazing SNS manicures that last!!! That is the number one thing I look for in a nail tech, manicures that last!

They are all friendly and do a great job . I had a Pearl Pedicure and Manicure.

This is only the 4th time in my whole life that Ive had a pedicure. Every 2 months and my feet feel like a million bucks!

Horrible . Ellie cut my cuticle and I was bleeding so much I am still in pain from my gel. They force you to get a different color from what you actually want . Ellie was very harsh with my nails and didn’t provide good service to me . She was hurting me so much I felt like walking out on her but I didn’t want to be rude . But she kept poking me with the dead skin remover . Never have I ever experienced so much pain after a manicure . She definitely needs more training I don’t recommend her to anyone or this salon . They rush their services and end up hurting you while they are rushing. Terrible terrible terrible

Ive been looking for a nail place that has good prices and is also clean and friendly, and this is the place. I loved how I was treated at this salon. They checked that my pedicure was good before putting my shoes on. Great mani & pedi and friendly staff.
