I can’t say enough good things about Lark. Cleanest most professional tattoo shop that I have ever seen. Hannah was amazing. She created exactly what I wanted and her skills blew my mind. I will be a repeat customer and send all of my friends there.

I got my industrial pierced by Dana last week. She was so nice and ver knowledgeable. My daith had this huge ring and wasnt healing, from another piercer. She saw it and immediately asked if she could put a smaller ring. It has felt so much better since she switched rings... She did a great job with my industrial. Its still swollen as seen in the photo but thats normal. Whatever I want done next, I will definitely be going to Dana.

I’ve been a customer for years, but recently had the absolute pleasure of getting new piercings with Dana! She was so fun AND professional! I had an older piercing that wasn’t healing as well as my others (done by a different piercer) and she switched out the jewelry which has made such a difference. I am obsessed with my new piercings that she did! I will be back as soon as I’m healed up for more! I had such a great time being pierced by her!

I got my flat pierced here, done by Dana, two weeks ago. She fit me into her schedule over the phone, fairly last minute, on the last day she was working before going on leave, and when I got to the studio I was ready to be apologetic and rushed. That was not my experience whatsoever. The front staff and Dana herself were all super friendly and sweet. Dana had valuable input based in plenty of expertise when I explained what I wanted from my piercing aesthetically, and I let her take the reigns. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was professional and comforting as well. Two weeks into my healing process I am still absolutely enamored with my piercing and how it looks and I can’t stop staring at it. Thank you so much to the lovely staff at Lark. While the covid restrictions in place prevented the appointment from being “perfect” (they did not allow my sister in with me) it was perfectly understandable and did not detract from the level of quality provided.

I came here around november to get a nose piercing & a belly button piercing . As soon as i met with the piercer i explaining how i am very jumpy around needles but will still be getting the piercing . As i was getting my nosed pierced i became very jumpy when he took the needle out & kept talking a lot to try & calm me down, he told me to shut up & “not move” . i get i wasn’t supposed to move, i just think it was very unprofessional but him screaming at me didn’t help my nerves at all . A few months later, i’ve had many problems with my belly button piercings & have been told by multiple piercers that it was pierced too, & that its really thin skin he pierced . i now have to take out the jewelry & let the piercing closed so i could get it repierced by a different piercer.

Excellent customer service, amazing professional shop to deal with. So on point and helpful. I had a 3/4 sleeve done by Simone an amazing artist from Italy. 100% hand drawn Polynesian tribal. He was incredible to work with for the year. I am so very glad I found him, was so polite and easy to work with, gave him his canvas and his space and let him do his thing. What turned out to me goes beyond words. It was a real honor to have meet him and get to know him. My man needs to hit up social media to get his talents out there. Such an epic journey.

Bruce and his amazing staff provide the expertise and consultative approach that make you realize you found the right artist and shop as soon as you arrive. Cleanliness is next to godliness and that is so true at Lark. They have not won best tattoo shop on Long Island for consecutive years 7 and counting for no reason. Stop reading this review and call the shop because great talented artists schedules fill up fast.

Seriously ridiculous this place .I call to get pierced they NEVER have a piercer on staff .Then I get my septum pierced elsewhere, ring falls out when Im at work so I run over there just to BUY A RING . Refuse to sell me a septum ring because their piercer is on maternity leave and they wouldnt know what to sell me like .... seriously ? This is supposed to be a reputable establishment and they struck out twice . I didnt know a piercer needed to be on staff for me to just BUY a septum ring to keep the hole open . I know tbr gage and how to put jt in myself I wasnt asking for a service . Terrible.

Had a consultation with Hannah Clock to discuss the next tattoo (#3) shes going to do for me. I knew part of what I wanted, couldnt figure the rest out. She had excellent suggestions and we agreed on a design that I will love. Left a deposit and made an appointment for about 3 weeks out. Lark Tattoo is very clean and proactive with all the covid restrictions. Call when you get there, hand sanitizer when you walk in, temperature taking and marks on the floor every 6 feet. I always feel comfortable here and have referred people. I got my first tattoos 4 and 5 years ago and I still get people admiring them.

People were decently nice/friendly, but very disappointed in the tattoo I received for the price I paid, especially. Least favorite I have, would not go back ever. Was tattooed only 1 hr but charged for 1.5hrs on top of that👎👎

I was really nervous going to a tattoo shop during COVID but when I called them for an appointment, they went over their policies and that made me really comfortable. It was for my daughter who’s a minor, so I had to provide a consent form with affidavit.We didn’t have to wait for too long and the piercer Matt was simply awesome. Planning to go back their again soon!

Started out good with my nose piercing, four month later when back to replace my nose ring, only to leave there bleeding and 12 hours later got a bump where i was bleeding, call to schedule an appointment and was told that i would be 60 dollars for treatment and i will have to continue it at home I did not create this to my nose, they was just suppose to replace my nose ring, and the ring is from there, so why should i have to pay sixty dollars for something i did not cause, and whey they could not of tell me how to treat it... I was also planing to schedule an appiintment for my tattoo with two more of my friends, but had to reconsider, because that was bad customer service....

Had 2 tattoos with Neal. A coverup and a touch up. Both were done extremely well, quick and inexpensive.

Piercer pierced my naval wrong TWICE when I specifically asked for it to be inside my belly button but they gave me a surface piercing twoTimes in one week. Basically pierced my stomach. And they didn’t tell me they didn’t tell me they were piercing it the wrong way either. Only explained it when I came back to complain and then pierced it wrong after AGAIN. I asked to speak to the manager but no one would let me. Bad customer service

Got my rook done today by Matt. He was awesome. Barely hurt, he was so quick. The shop was clean, friendly staff and they took so many covid precautions. I highly recommend to anyone in the area who wants a tattoo or piercing. I am so excited to go next month for my memorial tattoo.

I got a cartilage piercing either later August or early September of this year and it ended up getting infected. I called around to a few shops and they told me that it was a keloid and I would have to take the earring out and let the piercing close. My last resort was Lark Tattoo and I spoke to Matt and he told me it was an infection and that he could he take care of it. He did just that. I am so thankful for him. Hes been in the business for a while and he knows exactly what hes doing. Thank you so much again.

Matt the piercer is the best!! Had a cartilage piercing that was apparently infected, while other piercers told me it was “irritation”. Matt worked some sort of magic on it & got it switched to proper jewelry, when I had been told before it was “just unsalvageable”. It’s obvious that he knows what he’s doing, & the prices reflect that too, but worth it to save my piercings.

I had a problematic half sleeve that needed a lot of work. I reached out to owner Bruce Kaplan to see what he could do to help. I cant even put into words how much of a blessing Bruce has been. My tattoo was very large and im sure it wasnt desirable for him to work inside the parameters of another artists work. It took several long sessions and Bruce was patient, kind, and understanding throughout the whole process. Not only did he revive my tattoo with color, detail and a huge amount of his own style, but he is also just a gem of a person, so compassionate and a joy to be around. Bruce is an exemplary buisness owner and does everything in his power to ensure clients are happy and taken care of. I recommend Lark Tattoo and especially Bruce Kaplan to anyone who not only values awesome tattoo artwork but also honest and kind buisness practice. Thank you!

This studio is top notch. The counter staff members are always friendly and helpful. So many talented artists in various styles; its definitely worth the wait sometimes to be tattooed in this studio. Its very kind of them to provide aftercare materials after youve been tattooed. The piercer also comes with a great deal of experience, and is always ready to help. My first tattoo ever and it was a good experience small shop. The artist I went to was Kevin and he took his time and communicated with me once the pain started to kick in. I will definitely be back.

The peircer made my girlfriend cry removing a problematic ear piercings and told her to get out of his chair and go home when she was in terrible pain. She left the shop in tears. She has many piercings and has never had an issue like this before. They did refund her after we complained at least. He really needs to calm down and control himself. Yelling at people in pain is cruel.

First time tattoo. After researching tattoo parlors Lark tattoo came on top with all the great reviews and I was not disappointed. I had the pleasure to meet Neal and did an awesome job on a minimalistic work on my arm. Definetly will come back with him for a bigger more complex work later on.

Excellent customer service. I came late one night and missed the artist that I wanted to to my tattoo. Lance was out that night. But the counter girl - sorry forgot her name, recommended multiple artists to do lettering and showed their work. I was excited to and pleased by her customer service skills. I went here for piercings three years ago and decided to come back to get my first tattoo because of how amazing the experience was. The staff here is pretty cool, everyone was so helpful, thorough and friendly! I got my back tattoo done by Nasa, she’s wonderful at what she does! Great place clean awesome staff and extremely respectful and excellent non risk factors taken during this pandemic phase currently going on in society with covid 19.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Very poor service at the front desk. I came in to look at earrings to get and they had 5 small box casings of poor quality earrings. I then asked to check out some more earrings if they had any to purchase and then they told me to wait for a worker in the back of the shop to show me earrings which then took 30+ minutes. I then proceeded to leave the store and go to a place where the workers actually care about providing customer service and fulfilling their customers needs.

The entire staff was inviting and helpful getting design consultations scheduled. They follow up to make sure all your needs are met. And the artists are fantastic. Knowledgeable and true professionals at their craft. Neal did an amazing job; clean lines and a really fantastic piece. And the aftercare advice was excellent. I’ll be back for more.

I brought Heather a picture my mom had drawn and she respectfully transformed it into her own style and delivered a fantastic looking sloth tattoo. She was amazing, couldnt recommend her enough! As for the shop, they are crazy good keeping everything sanitary. 6 hours there felt like 2, very nice people to be around.

I went for a consultation for a small piece in black a week ago,it was an easy tattoo. I was quoted $100.00 so I told them ok were good to go.The tattoo took not even 1/2 hour. When it was time to pay the guy said $200.00 and paying with credit card it was $207.00 mind you I gave the guy an extra $15.00 tip.As days go by that stayed on my mind and my friends and the person who referred me said that price was extreme.So I called the place 2-3 days later and explained the guy quoted me $100.00 but charged me $200.00, she than told me yes theres a $100.00 flat rate extra for the shop,like what! I was never told that.I received emails days before explaining the instructions due to covid but nothing about an extra fee. My friend got half a shelve for $280.00 and I got this tiny tattoo for $207.00.Thieves, Would never go again.And dont use the excuse of Covid.Shouldnt Rip off customers to make up what you lost.

Ive been on the fence about getting a tattoo for years. I had a basic design in mind and finally brought it to Lark after them being recommended to me by several of my friends. I worked with Jay and I couldnt be happier with the results. He took my idea to a whole other level and made the entire experience a great one. Its now 3 days later and there has been nothing you usually read about after getting a tattoo. No pain, peeling or scabbing. Its as if the design was drawn with a pen and not a tattoo gun. Ill recommend Jay to anyone who is getting or thinking about getting a tattoo.The entire staff at Lark are also great. From my first visit to the store to the follow up phone call, everyone has been helpful and friendly. They run an immaculate shop and while the work was getting done, everyone was busy doing some sort of work, but still taking time to talk and interact with customers. It really felt like a group of friends hanging out. Its true you get what you pay for and Lark is worth every penny.

Great place all around! Pee Wee gave me a great tattoo. I always take a while to heal so Ill repost with a picture when I get it touched up. The staff is excellent and make you feel at home. Lark is Crystal clean, nice decor and common area. This was my first time getting ink and Its true, after your first you want to get another one right after. Since this was my first tattoo, I was careful in choosing my artist (no picking an artist out of a hat, this is permanent) So after hearing about lark I went to their site an reviewed all their artists work trying to find one that would match the style of the piece, and my choice was Pee Wee. Yes, all these artists at lark take some time to see because they are all in demand, But its worth the wait for quality. Sure after seeing your artist and talking about your piece it could be months before you sit down and begin the adventure, Yet in the end you will be more than thrilled with what you see. Stopped by late on a Friday night and one of the artists helped me with some inspiration. After looking at some portfolios (very impressive ones for that matter), i saw some work Kevin has done and thought hed be a good artist to give me my first ink. We met the next day and went over my design and booked the appointment. Very clean and professional shop, cant wait to see how the tattoo will come out as well.

I had a great experience with Lark Tattoo. I emailed them what I wanted for my wife and I and they replied quickly with a phone call. We set up an appointment quickly...for the same day. We met with Neil and he made some great suggestions. We were going to make another appointment to come back in to touch up another small tattoo but he was kind enough to touch up another tattoo for us as well.They are very organized...once we set up the appointment, I received a calendar reminder, via email and text message. Once were done with the appointment I received a request to review them.We were impressed that they cleaned up, disinfected and reset his workstation between working on us.We would definitely go back!

My whole family had been there to all different artists. The guest artists are always amazing. I researched portfolios for my first tattoo and I couldn’t be happier. PeeWee did such beautiful work, exactly what I wanted by just asking a few questions and really listening. Then, of course, being an extremely talented artist. He made his masterpiece look effortless. Great place, love it, go there.

Amazing from start to finish. When I went in to make the appointment everyone was really helpful and talked me through who would be the best artist for my tattoo.I met with Lance for a consultation and then for the actual tattoo. I came here to get my nose piercing checked ( it wasnt orginally done at lark). Matt evaluated me and immediately knew how to fix my issue ( nose ring sinking in). He provided me with tons of information and options and answered all of my questions. Im am thoroughly pleased with his professionalism and knowledge. Highly recommend seeing him for all things peircing!

Went here for a consultation and if they had time a same day tattoo. Google search stated they were open so I called multiple times thinking maybe they were tatting someone and couldn’t answer so I went there. Store front lights clearly said OPEN. A small girl with short hair stormed to the door and said with an attitude what I think was “Were closed today” so to make sure I said through the door “Youre closed ? And pointed to the open light sign and she Yells “YEAH WE’RE CLOSED” I know a ton of tattoo enthusiast and I will definitely share this experience with all of them as I hate unprofessional, rude, people customer service goes a LONG way and gets and keeps the customers in the door!

I took my daughter for a piercing a couple of weeks ago and Matt was the absolute best. He took so much time giving us all the info we needed and when we came back to have it done he was just as great as we anticipated after talking to him. It healed perfectly and quickly. I had my last tattoo done at Lark Tattoo and I love it. The whole experience was great and smooth. The shop is clean, well designed and greatly structured. Everyone is very nice, helpful and seems really sincere. I’ve got my tattoo from Joe Friedman. I came with an idea that I though was great, but Joe explained that this is not going to work and helped me to come up with an alternative that turned into a great piece. I really appreciated this honesty that definitely builds trust between an artist and a client. Joe is a great artist, who enjoys every bit of his work. He has a happy, funny, easy going personality that makes the whole experience even better. If I weren’t moving out of state, I would definitely come to Lark Tattoo for more art.

Getting work done at Lark was a truly incredible experience. The shop was clean and everyone was friendly from the moment I called to schedule until the moment I left. First of all Lark Tattoo is a very beautiful and very clean place with an amazing and professional staff ! Kevin Soomai is wonderful tattoo artist !!! I gave a drawing of my daughters artwork and he did it justice. It was a exact copy of it. He is very patient, friendly and most importantly he listens to what your looking for in your tattoo. After he was done, my wife and I were very impressed by his style of shading and detail on the tattoo ! Am definitely going to get more work done by him !

I came to Lark a few months ago to remove a piercing that was done improperly. It was clear within two minutes of speaking with the piercer that he knew hes stuff. I returned to get my nose pierced properly and he did just that!He was awesome!! From his professionalism, expertise, and wonderful service. Not to mention; I didnt feel a thing. He explained the reason being the type of needles his uses. It was very clear that piercing is not just a job, but his craft. He explained all after care instructions thoroughly. Everyone was unbelievably nice made the time enjoyable. The only downside was I felt the price was a little much considering there was some small mistakes but, I’ll give them 5 stars anyway since I still love the tattoo and the people were so great! :) I’ll definitely be going back for any future tattoos.

Great place. I went for a tragus piercing after I called to see if they had time and the piercer was very knowledgeable and professional I was so happy with my experience there and I’m in love with my new piercing. Everybody was very nice and welcoming which makes a big difference to me when going to a new place.

Neal was amazing! He took his time with me and made me feel super comfortable, he even ran to grab me lollipops and water when I started to feel light headed! Not to mention he did the best tattoo I have! Highly recommend everyone there!

Awesome service, professional studio, Simone Lubrani was the artist who worked on my left arm, it was a custom design around my existing tattoo. Came out better than I expected, great work. I will definitely go back there in the future.

Came in for a tragus piercing and it was a really great experience! Matt was super knowledgeable and took the time to give me all the info I needed for taking care of the piercing. He said to call them or come in if I had any questions or problems! Super friendly people, super quick and clean! Super lovely. Definitely recommend.

This place is by far the best tattoo shop around. Bruce does amazing work as do all the other artists in the shop. Definitely recommend them if you are looks for a clean shop that does incredible work!
