Great selection and very reasonable prices. Employees are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I love that you may ask any employee where something is, and they will always know the answer. Most often when I ask where something is located, the employees are always more than helpful, will actually walk you to the correct aisle and will help you find what your looking for! Huge time saver!

I totally understand things can happen but today Lowe’s was just completely incompetent. I ordered 6 sand bags on line in the Worcester store which the site indicated there were 36 in stock. I got to the store and they couldn’t find any. They offered no help to me After sending me alone with my cane throughout the entire store to find what other sand products I may need, I hobbled through the store to find bags 50-75 lbs which I could not put in a cart. So while I was there I looked on line and saw that the Lowe’s in Hudson about 30 min further away had some of the bags I wanted in stock. In order to avoid the same thing happening I asked them to call to visibly verify they had the inventory in stock before I drove 30 min away from home. Not only did they confirm it they took my name and number and said they would have it waiting for me at curbside. I drive the 30 min and when I got there they didn’t know what I was taking about. The girl who took the call from the other store was apparently totally incompetent. She assumed based on the online inventory it was there but did nothing to get it to curbside. They once again sent me alone totally across the store to find someone in mill works or help me that area even though I am using a cane to a recent broken leg. There was no one at the mill works so I had to walk all the way back to the front of the store and I came back to say no one was there and there was no inventory. After another 30 minutes an asst mgr and asking how I made the order, they confirmed they didn’t have any in stock. The first person from mill works never even got back to me. He left me waiting 30 minutes before an assistant manager showed up asking me how I made the order. I wasted 4 hours on this and much gas. Needless to say the incompetence at both stores was apparent. I didn’t do anything wrong and I was frustrated that no one seemed to care.I went home after totaling wasting an afternoon and I ended up ordering some play sand from our local hardware store around the corner and my order is ready. I Will NEVER go back to Lowe’s. ToTal waste of gas, my time, and my leg is really swollen now from all of that walking. They didn’t give a damn about me. Goodbye Lowe’s!

I bought a bathroom vanity this week. While in the store, I wanted to buy one there. The last one left was the display model. I was told that they can’t sell the display unless it’s on clearance. I was willing to pay for the attached faucet and bring it home. Not on clearance so no. However, I was told that it’s discontinued and no more are coming in. $50-60 shipping charge later, I have it at home. The delivery is another story, but I can’t totally blame you for your vendor.

Appliance nightmare, I bought a washing machine, day one did not work, so I was promised a new machine delivery In two days, the waiting game has now began!!! Took time off from work, called several times, its on itsway as I was told, never showed up? Im now again off to my local laundromat. Did I mention the washing machine cost$$$. I will not purchase here again, no one even tried to at Lowes to prioritize the delivery or offer some kind of compensation for our inconvenience.

Service was terrible not once but twice on two separate occasions. I was told my products were ready. Only one was ready so I had to go back, both times I came in the staff looked confused when I said I have a routine pick up. The staff made no attempt to apologize for allowing me to wait while 3 employees all walked past me. I even said ive been waiting & wasnt helped. The staff just seemed disinterested in my existence. Won’t be going back to this location or possibly even Lowe’s at all.

I went in to buy some hardware for a floating desk that I’m mounting. As I walked up to the self checkout an employee got uncomfortably close to me, in a way that made me feel like she thought I maybe stealing. She was standing centered like self checkout employees usually do, she was standing directly next to me, in my personal space. She then leaned over to another employee who was standing behind the shelf next to my self checkout register and word for word said “Can you watch her? I’ll be right back.” This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and stressed out. I have a lot of tattoos so I don’t know if maybe that made her think I am suspicious. The other employee did not make me uncomfortable, however I was so nervous at that point, when I put my debit card in the reader, I forgot to hit “pay now” and just stood there awkwardly not knowing why my card wasn’t being read. I started to ask the second employee for help, but then realized why my card wasn’t being read And we both started started laughing. At that moment the other woman popped back up and uncomfortably asked me if I needed anything. I said no and as I walked for the door she walked behind me. I was a retail loss prevention manager for many years and this honestly felt like she thought I was stealing. Maybe she didn’t; but she should know better than to say “can you watch her” about a customer right in front of them. Choose better wording. If it was so important for someone to be standing at the self checkout why did she walk towards the door with me and then walk away from the register area? I don’t think I’ll feel comfortable coming back to this location. I can afford a couple $6 shelf brackets. It’s not like I was holding expensive items.

I went there to get something it said in stock after 6 employees trying to find it I walked out empty handed. They suggested order online and see if they could find it then. We went to asile where it said it was nothing. Keep in mind it said 9 in stock online and by their scanner. Very disappointed drove 10 miles to get item. They need to get their **** together. Also not the employees fault for this had 8 employees trying to help. Its a system issue.

We ordered two, non-special order, in-inventory front entry doors in October to be installed before the cold weather. But each month thereafter we were told the manufacturer didn’t have them. Finally they arrived in March. We waited for the installer to show up on the scheduled day for which we took a day off from work. No call, no show. We called Lowe’s. They had no idea. I said I wanted my money back for the doors and install. They said they’ll have someone out the next week. Doors finally installed. We asked the store rep to see if management would give us some amount of credit for all of this hassle. No response. Home Depot will now get our business. Do not use Lowe’s for installs. Poor customer service the old fashioned way.

The worst store ever! They never have a problem taking your money, but always have a problem delivering. They tell you after you order, that they, have no control over their vendors when there is an issue with timing and cant even give you an alternate date. I am a contractor and order things all the time. Dont waste your time and money with their false claims, just order from Home Depot. I have ordered from both and HD always comes through, and if they cant, they give you a date and make it up to you. Lowes gives you that, you are on your own attitude.

The Lowes in Westborough is really great and they are very helpful.But the Lowes in Milford was really horrible.I asked for help and the guy said he was helping this person, but he was just standing there watching the other guy who was helping the person, then they both left and said that they will be back.Qell one guy came back and I asked him if he can help me again and he just said I am helping this lady pick out a grill.Just before I asked him he was already back and talking to some other worker.So I said, that you said that you would help me when you got back, but he did not he just acted like we were not there.After waiting for an hour we walked out.The Lowes in Milford will no longer get my service.THEY ARE SO RUDE.

If it says you have 13 of something in stock, “I can’t find it” is not an acceptable excuse from an employee. I understand if it were less than 5 or limited stock (I worked at Walmart, I know how the online computer inventory system works). It took forever for someone to help me, too. Remarkably poor customer service from their Millwork and Doors dept. Paid for them to send out a person to measure our home for two outside doors to be replaced. Over two weeks. Still no response. And it’s getting colder. Tried calling the dept. several times but no one picks up. It’s true what they about the first rule of management- everything’s your fault.

FALSE claims and RUDE customer serviceI normally would not bother to write a review when I am compensated, but due to the rude service, waste of my time and overall terrible experience, I feel compelled to write this so you dont go through the same thing.I was told the paint was guaranteed one-coat coverage by TWO Associates (as well as the can itself), prior to purchase. When I came back for the necessary second coat of paint, i was then told the paint was NOT guaranteed, by both assistant store managers Al Briggs and Joshua hollingshead. Unbelievable. just look at the can. After nearly a hour of arguing, pictures, threatening escalation to corporate, and the managers verifying my claims with the associates who made the guarantee (they didnt believe me), I finally received additional falsely advertised paint for the needed second coat. But this was only after I was giving a STERN warning that it will be only this time and this time only (by Al).  Like he was bending the rules for me or something. Is this how they handle every guarantee here? Incredibly frustrating.If you need Paint, pay a little extra and get Benjamin Moore. It will be one-coat coverage, and you wont have to deal with aggressive, rude, lying staff.Hope this helps.P.S. attached are two pictures of Valspar RESERVEs coverage (showing the necessity of two coats), as well as a picture of the can claiming one-coat perfection, and PERFECT FINISH stain-blocking coverage in a single coat. But manager Al Briggs was just throwing me a freebie.

Love this location. Everyone willing to help. Can easily find everything. The only thing that gets me here is it seems like this store is set up completely different than all others Ive been in. Im just used to having all the plumbing and appliances in the right rear, with the garden equipment to the right. Hardware just before lumber...... but otherwise, its all there just different.

May 23, 2020. The date is important because as many of you know, the pandemic thats taken over the world is what were all going through right now. Everyone is wearing masks and social distancing. With that being our biggest concern, its a nice escape from reality when were able to speak to someone who is kind and willing to help you. I had gone to Lowes yesterday and thats when I encountered an older gentleman who took his time to explain to me what my best choices were for choosing a paint for my home. Ive never taken on a project as big as the one in doing now and he helped me a lot! Somewhere along the way I forgot we had a pandemic and we just talked. Moments like this are what we all need once in a while to remind ourselves that were not alone in this and there is always someone willing to help.

I cant thank them enough for being so patient with me. I had parked one of my companys vehicles at their parking lot at the Westboro location and ended up forgetting about it for 3 weeks, only then I got a very polite call from a staff member saying I needed to remove the vehicle. I truly appreciated how he was so understanding. So Whenever I can I use Lowes for some of my businesss lumber purchases. One thing Ive notice about Lowes that is big differential between them at leading competitor is that they stuff keeps their heads up and are much more willing to help.Ill be buying more from Lowes for my home improvement business from now on.

Everyone here was so incredibly helpful! The paint department helped me with everything I needed to make my kitchen beautiful! When I was looking at plants, I wanted a fiddle leaf fig that was there but it didn’t look super healthy. The person in the plant department offered to reduce the price for me, which was really nice. Even the cashier was super friendly!

I go to Lowes for the selection, prices, and mainly because its close to my house, but its always a toss up if Ill have the patience to actually find what Im looking for, and, rarest of them all, if I can actually find a sales associate to beg help from. As luck would have it I did finally find someone who was willing to glance my way and drop me some breadcrumbs so I could find my item. Some day, I have faith Ill go to Lowes and the staff will smile... It hasnt happened yet, but Im a believer.

I am never disappointed with Lowes. They almost always meet my expectations, and when they dont, its always because my expectations were too high. Recently, I only had to move 10 or 15 culls before I got to the straight studs, that was an unexpected bright start to my day.As long as your expectations are this realistic, youll never be disappointed.

If youre going to make yourself the home of Craftsman tools you might want to become familiar with the warranty policy, I shouldnt have to sit on the phone for 10 min explain to you the policy... case and point, if a tool has a lifetime warranty and is no longer being made most companies exchange it for something of like or similar value. Not knowing what the policy is doesnt help your image.

A culture with zero regard for the customer experience, set not by the hourly associates, but by Management. I attempted to purchase a lawn mower tonight and needed help obtaining a price for a previously returned item merchandised on their floor with returned and was $269 marked on the tag. Operations Manager Al was behind the customer service desk the first time I inquired. He never looked up to acknowledge me or engage the associate trying to get me an answer before heading off to his office. I wheeled the mower up to the checkout lane to try to get a price and potentially finalize the purchase. Al was called over only to spend 5 minutes aimlessly scrolling through his handheld telling me why this previously owned mower should not be marked down at all. He then asked if Id noticed that the air filter cover was missing and told me that I shouldnt operate the mower without it. I honestly hadnt looked. I apparently incorrectly assumed that all of the items merchandised on Lowes floor would be sold complete with the components necessary for the item to function unless otherwise marked. I went to Lowes, rather than a yard sale, for this reason. Al was nice enough to let me know that I would need to buy one but Lowes doesnt sell them. I left nearly all of of my $400 purchase at the register and walked out with $25 in essentials. I wont be back. I interacted with a few really nice hourly associates there. Its a shame that they have Al as a leader.

Really good experience. 405 clerks / roaming people asking to help us if needed. Found just what we needed and when we dealt with our cashier she helped us walkthrough obtaining the veterans discount. Good overall experience. Jeanette was our cashier, very professional and informative, and helped us through the whole thing including how to get a veterans discount via their store card.

I have been disappointed by Lowes lately. This time I get a call that my order is ready for pickup. So I go there to pick it up and they say its not ready for pickup. I tell them I got a call from the store to pick it up and thats why I am here. After scrambling for some time, they said ok its here. Then they ask me to find the rest of the garden department order myself. So I end up walking all through the garden department and cant find the product that I ordered. While I was about to give up, I see a cart stacked with the three bags of soil that I had ordered with pickup slip attached to it. Not sure if I would want to say I am happy with this experience.

Great store with a slightly more innovative layout than other Lowes Ive visited. My only complaint is that the cashier said they didnt accept phone payment via Samsung so I had to go to customer service to process my transaction. Horrible store, never ever go there to buy Windows or doors. I bought 7 Windows 2 doors last year in summer, numerous calls, wrong size Windows, rude managers, horrible record system...... I wish I could give 10 negative stars!!! One window was took away before knowing it is wrong size in December, wait another month for the right size window coming. Luckily it was not that cold last December, I dont think any of Lowes customers would like to have a opened window without any insulation in New England in December for a month!!!!!!! More ridiculously, the store manager was more rude than any of their employees! she handed up my phone at least two times during the call and loudly yelling to me she was the manager in the store, she cant help me to make the waiting shorter, and that happened even after I complaint to the district manager. She even didnt know which contractor they send to our house for the work! What a horrible record system they could have. I am not sure if it is a legal practice to send an unknown contractor to customers house for the work, themselves dont have any record or idea who they sent to your house!! If any lawyer want to take this case, I would be willing to provide all the records I saved. If you want a normal peaceful experience for window or door installation, this place did not worth any consideration!
