Pick up was a good experience. Straight forward rental agreement. Was in and out quickly. Drop off was a nightmare of epic proportions. I arrived minutes before they closed. I was informed that no one would help me and that I would be required to utilize the website to do the return. I spent over half an hour trying to navigate the website only to have it crash 3 times in a row. I decided to call to try to get help. Waited on hold for 15 minutes and still hadnt been helped. My girlfriend finally was able to get the website to take the return. I left angry and vowed to never return to that location again.
Terrible customer service. I arrived to pick up my truck and selected to use the mobile website to check-in. Big mistake! When the website asked me to find my truck in the lot, I did, and stood by the truck while completing my mobile check-in. Then a guy in a green shirt comes out and tells me that my truck, that I had a reservation for, had just been rented by someone inside the store and that Id have to wait. So I waited about ten minutes for the mobile website to finish my check-in, and I was given the keys to the truck I was just told wasnt mine. While sitting in the truck, completing the process, green shirt comes out and asks if I had verified that its my truck. Yep! Its mine! Just like my reservation had stated! Almost like thats what a reservation is for!Then, to top it all off, they didnt give me the appliance dolly that I had paid for. So I had to take time out of my move to go back down to the store and get the dolly. What a waste!You should look elsewhere for a move before considering this Uhaul.
Horrible experience not 1 out of the 5 associates greeted or acknowledged my presence and avoided eye contact with me as I stood on the other side of the counter for 30 min while 3 associates were helping 1 customer in a very unprofessional manner. I waited patiently and finally the gal across the counter who seemed annoyed with my presence of business says can I help you I said yes can I get a couple of propane tanks filled she then rolls he eyes a said well I am the only one who can fill tanks so you will have to wait. We waited another 30 min and I finally just loaded the tanks and took my business elsewhere. (Retrain staff)
We arrived about 1855. There was others that were before us. They had been there waiting for some time. As soon a 1900 hit the staff told everybody, again, customers that had already been there for some time, that they were closed and they were not going to be serviced. All that was said was that anything needed could be found online. We were pushed out and that was that. Ive lived West coast Oregon to East Coast New York. Never have I ever had such a terrible experience@@@!!!
This location is a let down. No customer service and a huge lack of regard for peoples time and travel. You’ve just lost my business forever.Don’t post your hours and then not be willing to work inside of those hours. I drove 25 minutes to get to your location and was there in plenty of time before closing yet you chose to say sorry we can’t help you because we’re getting ready to close. If it says you’re open until 7 o’clock and I show up at 6:30. You should help me with my three minute task versus sending me on my way so that you can finish closing up.
Had a reservation 3 months in advance and received a broken trailer upon arrival. Had to go to 3 separate UHAUL locations on the day of our move. Extremely difficult to work with
I have rented from Uhaul over 300 times since 2014, about 30 from this location, and had NEVER been treated poorly.... until 4/5/2021. I went there to reserve a trailer to move some steel and was REFUSED SEVICE and BANNED FOR LIFE because of a DISABILITY! Stephen Tefteller threatened me with the police, all because I have a REPIRATORY DISABILITY that makes it DANGEROUS for me to cover my face.... doing so could put me in the hospital.When I explained the problem he then demanded to speak to my Doctor and review my medical records. This is a major violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act... which he claimed has been suspended, and that disabled people arent allowed to rent from UHaul, anyway.
Horrible experience waited 30 mins to get help. I had 1 tank That had small water corrosion slightly colored green . Told me it was from Methamphetamine on the surface . That he could not touch it. denied me help. The guy thought I was breaking bad .
Glad I came in to confirm you guys actually had the reciver hitch before making me pay online. I mean I can wait for product to ship but when you dont even have product in stock why give me the option to pay and set an appointment for a day when you wont even have the product to install by then crazy to me.
Daniel assisted us with our trailer rental yesterday and went above and beyond to help us when an issue was diagnosed with our hitch’s electrical system communicating w/the trailer. He checked each and every one of our fuses, crawled under our truck to check wire connections, and when he could do no more, performed online search for repair service businesses in the area. GREAT JOB, Daniel. Thank you.
Always carefully read the contract. We were told 4 bucks per gallon if the tank was low. We did not go very far and it lookes the same when we checked. They charged us 30 bucks for having to put gas in the tank and 24 for gas we drove 29 miles.
We rented a van on Sunday, February 16th, and had a great experience. The gentleman who helped us was super kind and accommodating. We almost didnt make it by our 5 PM drop off time and returned the van at 4:55, right before they closed, but they were super super nice about it. I will definitely be coming back here if I ever need a uhaul ever again. I would recommend these guys to anyone who asks!
I went to drop off boxes at this location after I moved. The three clerks sat on their chairs and did nothing to help. One of them, a young guy, said Oh, we want this to look neat, no more - I had three boxes left. It looked very neat. I just helped them out by donating more than $100 of boxes. I will NEVER use their services.
We had an emergency, and needed propane tanks refilled. Even tho I arrived before they closed the manager at this store refused to help. It would not have taken him 5 minutes to refill our tanks. I will never use this store again, nor will any of my family, neighbors nor friends. Nice job Mr. manager.
Terrible customer service the girl Alyesia was very rude and snappy, she cut us off while we were talking and tried to charge us extra for gas that we never used. Very upset and would not recommend that location to anyone.
If there were zero stars I would give this store manager zero. We called the Uhaul location on 4000W and 4690 S. We spoke to a woman who said she worked at that location and we asked if they were still filling propane bottles because the location was about to close. (We called at 6:45PM) She said yes if you can get here about five minutes. We left and arrived around 6:51PM and the store manager refused to serve us. He indicated that nobody had called them and that they shut down the propane service already. We indicated that this was an emergency and he said that he wouldnt do it. Lazy, ridiculous and terrible service. Never going here again.
Wow! The guy doing the propane filling has definitely inhaled way too much propane. He is super slow and seems to have only a few brain cells left. 20 minutes to fill two tanks and another ten minutes for him to type in a debut card number. Ill definitely go elsewhere for propane from now on
Such a great experience with this location. Dealt with Joe and Austin, they were extremely nice, very helpful and great to work with. I would absolutely recommend going into this Uhaul location and setting up for a truck, boxes and packing supplies.

I went in to rent a trailer, and found out that when uhaul doesnt take responsibility for damages they do to your own vehicle. Causing you to have to bring them to court over it that they retaliate by banning you from renting from them!
This location has a very poor customer service, when you rent anything from this place take the employee out with you and record a video of the vehicle and make sure you get the miles and where the fuel gauge is, make sure you dont sign anything until you verify everything if you find something make sure its on the contract because they will rip you off. It looks like they need every penny they can get, or even better just go somewhere else to rent a moving truck !!!!!

When a local Uhaul dealer didnt have our truck (which we reserved weeks before), we called Uhaul and they set up a truck at this location. The guys working there couldnt have been more professional. They were really nice and had us on our way very quickly. Do yourself a favor. Dont waste your time with a dealer.... go straight to an actual Uhaul location. You wont regret it.
This is the worst experience I’ve ever had! The employees are inefficient, from making the reservation to returning the truck. I am extremely upset and feel cheated by them. The girl told me I had the coverage options on the screen but she never told me I had to DESELECT the preselected coverage option of $15. She just said to hit continue and I did. My total charge for 15 miles was $54 when the rental is only $19.95. The manager at this location is not dependable she called me and left me more frustrated with her lack of empathy and desire to help me! They will scam you out of whatever they can and the customer service is non-existent. I DO NOT recommend this location.
We had a big moving day planned on Saturday and had reserved a U-Haul. When we got there to pick up the truck at the time slot we reserved, we were informed (after a 25-minute wait) that it wasnt available for us. Apparently the previous customer decided to keep it for another day. The storage unit we were planning on filling isnt open on Sundays, so now we have to reschedule for next Saturday. This has all been an enormous inconvenience. Why would you let us reserve a U-Haul that was still in use? What a joke.
Long lines and booked rentals! Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation so you dont waste precious time.Waited at least 40 minutes to be helped. There were only two people working the whole entire store.The price for the rental was decent however.
The guys were friendly enough. However, we rented a truck and tow dolly for an out of state move. When we returned the dolly at our destination the manager there said she was going to have to replace all the straps and chains- she wouldnt have sent them out in the condition. Luckily nothing happened or went wrong, but it is a little concerning that we were sent out with less than quality equipment. The truck drove perfectly, and our service with them was friendly and kind.
Waited quite sometime then they seemed to be busy so didnt have any concern for me and how everything when on the drive. Also didnt welcome me to their state. Why go the extra mile when a customer pays almost $300 for the smallest trailer to travel on a 9 hour trip, I could have bought the trailer for another $600 so they are making money hand over fist. Man the employees dont act like it though.
I always use this location when I move. I like this place. Most the time the staff is thorough. Some days the wait time in line can be long, so plan ahead for that and dont be in a hurry when you get there. They always treated me good.
They cancelled my reservation without any email or text notification. When I showed up at my reservation time, they told me someone (obviously not me) called the day before to cancel. Horrible experience! They wouldnt even comp me the extra miles I will have to drive because the only substitute truck is way out of the way.
Not one person was wearing a mask and they were not practicing social distancing and were not cleaning anything in between customers. They were friendly but screwed up the reservation.

Very helpful staff. Updated clean trucks that run great! Helped us hook up the car to tow behind our uhaul also. Rent from here! They also have propane too which I have used in the past. Easy access and exit to this location.
I had a concern with my trailer hitch that had been on the vehicle for a few years. Purchased it from Uhaul in another state. Doug took great care of me, getting it fixed and quick service. Thanks for treating me as a customer wonderfully!
I have used these guys for my truck rentals several times. They are great. They get me in and out quickly. And follow through with promises made. If they say they have it, then they have it. But, they have never told me they have a truck to get me down there and then say that they no longer have it and try to sell me something else.
Rang the bell for propane, waited awhile. Wondered inside assuming I should get in line....no customers in the store, just 2 co workers talking to each other. One asks, propane? Im like, yeah, rang the bell out there a bit ago. One comes out to fill my propane, then forgets his gloves....so I wait while he goes inside for his gloves now. Its not warm outside. Anyways he comes out to finish up, tells me to go inside to pay after. Thats fine but I know they have a thing they are supposed to ring you up outside with. Anyways, slow as hell at this place. Go to 39th.
Its a good location, easy to get in and out. They have a decent fleet so you can usually find the vehicle you need. But they always get you with the fees. I paid more in fees than I did to rent the vehicle.
Skip the app and the 800 number. If you are in WVC/Kearns and need a truck drop by and talk to these guys in person. My transaction went smoothly and I felt satisified with the current staffs knowledge of the job and customer service.
Need a U-Haul without any hassle? This is the place. I can easily walk right on in, and get a vehicle within 10mins. Even returning the U-Haul was a breeze. They have a person outside waiting to turn it back in with no hassle
Went there to get a car dolly to tow a truck. I have used this exact dolly, pulling truck, and truck on the dolly before. Paid over the phone and then went to get the dolly (drove for an hr) Was told that despite my hitch SAYING 12,500 and having bought the truck with service of the hitch. The guy said the hitch was only rated for 5,000 lbs so he couldnt rent it to me. Despite showing work and having drove an hour and I have rented before. Never go here.
I had to call the one 800 number to find any location that could get me in on the same day, after a 20 minute phone call I found out I could get into this place at three, they were able to get me in an hour early which was awesome however it still took until two or three hours later before the work was completed, I left and came back to get my vehicle to find that it had been completed but had not received a phone call even though I requested one after calling the direct location number 10 or 15 times to get a confirmation,Five stars because they were able to get the hard to locate harness for my Infiniti FX 35, one star because the customer service experience was absolute garbage.Fair price

Reserved a trailer online for pickup here and cancelled it. A month later a CC charge for $115.45. UHaul says its the location charging me for supplies, not the trailer, but I DIDNT ORDER ANY SUPPLIES. Call and speak with Doug, Hes aware of the charge from a MONTH AGO and was wondering when I was gonna pickup. He evens says he called my cell a couple times. I ask, why didnt you leave a message? His response, I probably should have. Of course we know EXACTLY why he didnt. You and your credit cards should stay away from this store.

Poor customer service had an appointment that they refused to keep. They told me all parts were in store. when I went to drop the car off they said they couldn’t keep the appointment, that they needed to drive to Orem to pick them up. This was the second attempt to have a hitch installed

This has been one of the most horrific experiences I’ve ever had with a company. I scheduled my uhaul weeks in advance and set it to pick up at 8am. When I received the call the night before, they said it wasn’t available until 10. When I asked the rep about return time, he didn’t know and said to just cross my fingers the drop off location was closed during drop off so no one would know when I returned it anyway... solid answer. When I arrived to pick up the next day, the rep at the store yelled out to all the customers “if you don’t have a reservation, we have nothing!!” Super professional. I did have a reservation and he still told me there was nothing despite my size truck sitting outside. He said that was for someone else. Shouldn’t it be first come first serve? We ended up having to sit and wait until 1:30 for a truck because uhaul constantly double books the same trucks to scam more people out of money. When we do get the truck, it makes it about 20 miles and the tire blew on the freeway almost causing us to wreck and lose everything we own. Uhaul is too cheap to buy new tires so they retread them causing poor quality and ultimately a lack of safety that could cost people their lives. It took 30 minutes to get ahold of someone about the blown tire and another hour and a half to get someone to help. All the while sitting on the side of a freeway in 90 degree weather. The rep told us we’d have to wait because there were 600 other uhauls also waiting for roadside assistance. Not something to brag about. When it was finally time for drop off, we left it in the city and location our contract agreed to. However when I later checked my emails, the location had been changed without my permission or a phone call. I called customer service to inform them I dropped off at the original location and couldn’t change it because I left the keys in the drop box. The rep was horribly rude and kept stating that it can change at anytime. Clearing I’m moving and not checking my emails constantly for their unnecessary and inconvenient changes. I told her I no longer had the truck and she stated the people I’d need to call to get it fixed. Am I going to be paid for doing her job? Why wouldn’t she be expected to call to fix uhauls mistake. Uhaul is the cheapest and you get what you pay for. Never letting anyone I know rent from uhaul again. When I tried to send them this review “there was an error processing your request” does any part of this company function?

Reserved a 5x9 utility trailer, upon arrival I was told they had already rented their only one out. unfortunately this isnt the first time Ive had serious problems with uhaul in general. Ill be sure to book future rentals with anyone else.

We reserved. Woke up past alarm. Called in to say we were running late and were advised that the truck we reserved was gone. No call to us. Just gone. One star for customer service and making sure we were a priority to their business.

They did not ask how much I needed to move, they sold me a trailer that was too small. When I called in, I was sent to a call center where they told me they could exchange the vehicle for a 26 footer and they could wait for me to come by a few minutes after closing. They not only did not have a 26 footer available but they were also closed when I got there!!!! Then I tried to file a complaint and they refused to submit my complaint and hung up in my face. If google allowed a negative score, I would give them one!!!!

Worst customer service! Especially Doug the general manager! Had propane tank refilled there after I had started roasting chickens my one propane bottle ran out. I switched to the one I had them refill and it didnt work. So I took it back and they they told me it had a bad valve and said they didnt have any tanks to swap it with and that the propane machine was not working. Called the GM and told him that I had stuff on the bbq waiting and he replied so what do you want me to do and then said go buy another tank from somewhere! I would recommend going elsewhere!!!!! Oh yeah took it home because I knew the valve was not bad tank not that old I turned the relief screw and the tank started working wierd sounds like they are scammers!!!

We rented a truck on 3/12 and prepaid for 30 miles. We knew we would need a little more time so we called and were told if we get it back by 5 pm on 3/13 they would call it good and we would only pay for the milage over and the moving blankets. Well we were having some trouble getting the truck up to speed (the truck was substandard and on its last leg) and called to say we were trying our best to get there by five. We pulled into the drive at 5:04 pm. Just a few minutes after we called and they were shut up tight. At that point the worst case scecario would be the six extra miles = $5.34, moving blankets = $10.00 and $40.00 extra rental; instead we are charged $167. According to the corporate office the crooked guy reports we returned the truck on 3/15 and sends a PDF saying that the amount is being sent to litigation! Seriously? So be careful with this location.
**GAS SCAM**I was told by the attendant the day I rented this truck they have gas thief issues in this area. Knowing this I paid cash in full for one day rental. Filled the tank once my trip was complete at the Smiths across the street, took photo of FULL TANK upon return. Came back the next day for refund on unused mileage (credit of 48 miles) with photo proof in hand!!! Only to be told its close enough & they refuse to refund the balance back to me.
We found them to be very helpful and were cautious of our safety. They even extended their service to help us when we were in need of an extra day for using some of their equipment.

They did not have the truck we reserved available. When questioned, they claimed that the system said we ordered a different truck, however we had the receipt for the truck we actually reserved. They then charged us for the more expensive truck, even though it was their mistake. While we were dealing with this, there was another customer at this location who tried to pick up the truck he reserved, but they had double booked and he had to wait around for an hour for someone to return. HORRIBLE customer service. Will NEVER use this location again, and Uhaul will be the last choice for truck rental in the future.

Poor service! Manager Daniel offered a lousy $10 discount for a broken truck that they rented out to us. He refuse to get me to someone higher then him. The headlight was completely out. Lesson learned check everything before taking the truck
Called them up. Told them I wanted to rent a Tow Dolly so i could tow my broken car. The Lady on the phone was extremely disrespectful on the phone, Did not pay attention, and constantly trying to set me up for different rentals like a moving truck. Every time i asked for a price, she ignored me and continued with trying to get me reserved for a rental, that i wasnt sure i needed. Once said and done, and i confirmed I did need it, they proceeded to reserve me for an Auto Transport trailer, which I didnt want. I didnt relize they had done this till just a few hours before in which i had to call back to try and swap it over.
I spoke with Patricia, she was very rude and not helpful at all, she hung up the phone on me middle of our conversation. This was my first time ever useing uhaul and it was a bad experience. I will probably never go through with them again.

Then I had to wait for them to help all other customers prior to getting the help I needed with my hitch even though I came In prior to those other customers. Waited over an hour smh this place is horrible. Not how paying customers should be treated.
