Had these guys out to do a new cover two years ago. They we not the cheapest but we have a high end home and wanted the highest quality product available. Andrew sent out his team to access the issue and quickly responded with a replacement cover. Thanks again Andrew for taking care of this. As I am gathering bids to replace my automatic pool cover Cover Care was one of the company’s I used as my friend in St George just got his done by this company. Turns out they where about $500 less expensive then my quote in Salt Lake City, I asked why the difference he said your friend probably had a 10% code still did not add up. He also pushed two stainless steel rope guides less than 2 inches wide for $140 each(so not worth it) lastly he was supposed to quote me a flap to cover the end so leaves did not get in. The company I chose locally came in $800 les than Cover Care same parts list less the two stainless rope guides at $ 140 each went with the nylon ones at $18 each.

Very poor service. I bought a cover from them 2 years ago and it was to have a 5 year warranty on the cover. This year (2 years after install) there was a tear in the cover. Took forever to get anyone to respond to our initial call and then another 2 weeks for someone to repair. The repair was done by putting a patch on the cover, again should have been covered under manufactures warranty. Today they charged my card for $192.17 to put on a 5x5 inch patch to fix the tear in the cover. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I called and asked to have the charge reversed for it should be under warranty, they stated that the cover is not covered under warranty for tears. It was a manufactures defect, should never have been charged. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone looking to have a cover replaced or put on their pool. Terrible service, terrible product and terrible overall experience. DO NOT buy from this company!

I had the misfortune of having to replace my pool cover prematurely due to a recent windstorm. I contacted cover care and they had all of my information from the previous install on hand and ordered the new cover right away. The replacement arrived quickly and the technicians did an excellent job of replacing the cover and upgrading my install with a new poly liner making sure that everything was working properly and was properly aligned. I have found their products to be high quality and appreciate the extra little touches. Definitely a happy customer.

Overbooked...phone people ok. Didnt show up but I had to call to find out why. GO to Rocky Mountain Pool Covers. Cheaper and more responsive! ADDED 1 week LATER: I was contacted by Andrew from Cover Care, he was very kind. He explained that appt hadnt even shown up, hence the overbook and that they were for certain going to fix the issues so it wouldnt happen again. Amended the rating as well, since they cared enough to call me back.

I used this company last year to put a new cover on our pool. They did a good job, theyre not the cheapest company, but I was looking for quality this go-around. So, I thought Id give them some more business this year and get a quote to replace our touch pad for our pool cover. This is a proprietary part made by one manufacturing company. Theres one option as far as a low voltage touch pad goes. My bid comes back at $969.95. (Red Flag) So I decided to get another bid as we always should, I understand that. But when Ive used a company once, was happy with their work, I feel like weve established a relationship of trust and loyalty. I typically wouldnt shop my quote if the price was reasonable. My second quote from another pool cover company, getting parts from the SAME manufacturing company mind you, was $335. Be aware of this company and get your bids. They clearly dont feel like long term customers are important. The choice is always yours, I hope this was useful information.

These guys were great! Retuned my call, showed up when they said they would. Installed the cover without any problems and got the job done a week earlier than expected.

They’ve taken care of my pool cover for years and are simply the best. Whether yearly “tuneups” or complete replacements, I’ve always found them to be fast, good and no ‘nickel and diming’. Highly recommend to others to keep your pool and family safe.

The tech did not know what he was doing so he took a hammer to the cover gear box. After beating on that to bend it up and to break the torsion guide, he installed the motor crooked. Then he could not figure out why the gear would not engage to close the cover. Cover Care did not charge for the beating but will not replace the torsion guide. Id stay away.

Three weeks ago they performed a pool cover maintenance which cost over $200. They told me that my cover was “working perfectly.” Now, 3 weeks later, my pool cover will close but I am unable to open it. I called about this problem and was told that no one can come out to the house for two weeks!Be very careful when you pay for their maintenance package. Additionally, know that if you are their customer, they will not prioritize issues that come up with your cover shortly after they take your money and tell you that everything is “perfect.” Very disappointing service.Update: I called triple M pool covers right after I posted this review. They came over to my house in less than three hours and fixed my pool cover in five minutes. The problem was totally missed by these guys when they maintenanced my cover three weeks ago. Triple M also pointed out multiple things that don’t need to be fixed now, but will in the next year or two. Again, these were missed from my $200 service.Triple-M charged me $20, and cover care charged me $200 for a worthless service. Triple M will have my business from here on out.....Update 2: They have now started that they did “free maintenance.” It was $212 of “free maintenance.” My cover did not close 2 weeks before they came out but I discovered it was a breaker problem and fixed it myself before they came out to my house. My pool cover was working normally when they came out to service it for “preventive maintenance,” for which they charged me >$200. They never performed a repair.

Cover care was very helpful when my pool cover tore in the middle of the winter. They did a great job and were very efficient with their time.

Cover Care was great to work with. It was easy to schedule the pool cover service. The technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and got the service completed. I will continue to use Cover Care to keep the Cover up and running.

Poolsafe did a great job on our new pool cover and cover box in Holladay, UT. They came on the scheduled day. Completed the work at a high level. I had one issue with the clean up. We had our 35 year old cover replaced by Poolsafe. Their bid was the best value (price + approach) and their work is exceptional. After the original install there were a few things we noticed (there always are with any new install) and Andrew was quick and receptive to fixing them. His solutions to our issues far exceeded my expectations. This past week there was another mechanical issue and Poolsafe had a tech to our house to fix it with plenty of time to spare before our pool party this weekend. They stand by their product and work which is extremely important when making a major purchase like a new pool cover. I would definitely recommend their services.

My cover system is 35 years old and no longer has any parts available. However the tech made due and fixed my problem! Another company i had come out just said they couldnt help me.

Weve been using Andrew (when he was a independent pool cover repairman) for years and were always pleased with his dependable and detailed service. However, things have changed when Poolsafe took over. It is now impossible to book Andrew anymore since you cant select who you get. My appointment for a cover tune-up came and went and no technician showed up. No one could locate this technician after a day and a half of waiting. UPDATE: Thank you for your response and I hope that you find the technician in good health. I understand that complications arise. It would be helpful next time something like this happens to update the client as to what was happening and make amends by rescheduling the next day with another technician.

Let me just a say thanks to Andrew Leyer and Andrew in the parts dept.I have known Andrew for many years, he has always gone above and beyond for his clients.Friday afternoon after working a hot and sweaty day I was ready for a swim, I went to open pool cover and nothing happened. I called Andrews cell phone after hours 6:00 PM, left a message, he called within one hour, he walked me through a few electrical test (I feel ok around low voltage power) I was able to jump a few wires to get the pool cover open and closed. He set me up with Andrew in parts on Monday. Got parts on the way to fix tomorrow. You just dont find this type of customer service anymore. These folks are awesome, I highly recommend this company, its the people who make the company what it is, not the name.
