The absolute worst company Ive dealt with in my life. If they had an office I would be in there right now raising hell. I got their fiber line and I still dont have my phone line back.
A simple transfer of services is a near impossible task for these people. One person tells me nobody needs to be here to do my transfer another person tells me they can’t find anything on my account that I’ve had for over a year. The very worst part is the technician never shows up and lies and says he did. Now they want to make me wait another 2 days without internet in my new home.
I dont even have their service, but this is the worst internet/phone company. We have had a phone line down in our backyard for 2 weeks and they havent sent a technician to come fix it even though I have spent over 2 hours on the phone and made 3 separate appointments with them. Their level of incompetence is astounding. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE CLOWNS!

Please dont lose your time with this company, we have our service currently disconnected and we never made that request, i was told it was a mistake on their end and now they are telling me we have to create a new account and go trough a credit check again and a deposit. I even spoke with a supervisor and she said that she couldnt do anything about it. After speaking with 20 different agents, they keep transferring me to different departments, none of them has been able to help, this is super frustrating. last but not least they said if we wanted a reimbursement it would take 1 year, how is that even possible?. Look for other options.
Our neighbors must have called you over, but you guys just walked straight into our house without even knocking! Your employees should knock and wait for someone to answer and call if no one answers. Its disrespectful. Its not hard to just knock. And its not hard to keep yourself from letting yourselves into my home. Thank god I have dogs to alert me to strange people entering my home.
HORRIBLE INTERNET SERVICE, CHATS GETS DISCONNECTED CONSTANTLY. REPSENTATIVE ARE CLULESS. LONG WAITING TIME WHEN CALLING.

I had CenturyLink for a full year. I found a pattern of of unexpected charges, repeat address, duplicate service charges, multiple months, and provisioning errors when setting up services. Overall a very concerning experience. One example out of many was a DVR failure. As a Network Engineer myself, I did enough troubleshooting to validate that the issue followed the DVR itself. My troubleshooting included swapping cables, and plugging the DVR directly into the CenturyLink Modem, bypassing all original data wiring, and the DVR would not boot properly. The tech insisted on swapping the network end that Id already ruled out. I told him Ive already ruled it out, but he insisted anyway. Sure enough, the DVR itself had failed, and the resolution was a replacement DVR. Next thing I knew, I had a $100 charge for a network end that wasnt even the problem. After calling to inform CenturyLink that it wasnt the root cause, and that Id ruled it it out previously, but the tech insisted, the customer service supervisor I spoke with refused to credit back the charge since the tech had touched my home wiring. Do yourself a favor, and dont let them touch your home cabling, no matter what. Find a local geek that can troubleshoot & test your wiring before having anyone come out. I ended up re-terminating that end, originally because the jack they had didnt fit in my wall plate, and was dangling in an unsightly way. the tech didnt bother to look at the wiring standard of 568A or B (two common wiring patterns in industry), so ended up wiring it as a crossover ( the orange & green pairs were swapped between ends), the tech also messed up on two other wires, meaning his work didnt meet any standard. Out of sheer dumb luck, the new DVR happened to work with his termination, since the pairs messed up were unused. Not cool though. Overall very unprofessional and poor experience. This experience was just the tip of the iceburg. Its clear that theres a troubling pattern of broken processes and procedures with this company. I hope one of the CL executives sees this review that has it together, and can make some major improvements so CenturyLink can become a viable option for service at some point in the future.

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Once they know you are gonna change service, they move your account to a non rebated account and charge you full price. Then when you call and say hey, I will not be continuing service with you, I am going to need a refund. They say oh no, we switched to charging you after you have used your month of service...seriously...complete and utter SCAM!
Do yourself a favor and stay away from doing business with this company. They do not care if your service works. They had a pole fall against my building and it has been over a year to get someone out here to fix it. Their support is a nightmare. They will put you in a contract for service that does not work and then gouge you when you have to cancel because you actually want internet service from a provider who can... provide it.
Terrible company. Im having speed issues and they say everything looks fine on their system, so they arent going to do anything about it. Very rude customer service as well.
Terrible and incompetent customer service who love to keep transferring you to different departments. Calling to get bill corrected and/or because of connectivity issues is a nightmare. Plan to stay on the phone for over 30 mins to never get anywhere with them.
THEY ARE ALL LOUSY. I OVER PAID MY COMCAST BILL LAST YEAR SOME 230.00 THEY WERE TO COME TO MY NEW HOME AND RUN A CABLE I HAD APPOINTMENTS AND NO ONE EVER CALLED OR EVER SHOWN AT THE RES NOW IM DISABLED I FIRED COMCAST OR XFINITY WHAT EVER..AND MOVED TO DIRECTV THEY NEVER TOLD ME THAT THE SERVICE WOULD BE BROKEN UP WITH SEVERAL COMPANIES WHAT A NIGHTMARE .......JUST GOES TO SHOW YOU ASK A LOT OF QUESTIONS...ID GO BACK TO XFINITY IN A HEART BEAT BEEN WITH THOSE FOLKS FOR 20 YEARS

A rep called my business and than she HARASSED us because we couldnt go into business with them. She thew a fit, interrupted me and acted appallingly. Clearly has NO business skills.I hope karma treats you well. -________-
This is a secure facility. This is NOT where you can pay your bill or exchange modems.
They took advantage of my 83 yr old mother and charged her twice the quoted price every month.
Truly horrible, dont see how they stay in business.
