Havent been to this particular branch yet, but Sheyla was awesome to talk to. Even over the phone. Kind and courteous and ABOVE AND BEYOND with the customer service from her. Which is a breath of fresh air compared to what Ive been through when dealing with the mental health industry in general, and as a whole. Her supervisor, Tom, was also an awesome and a very good gentleman to deal with! A breath of fresh air from them both! FINALLY! Mental health professionals who are not only professional, but ONES THAT ACTUALLY CARE about their patients/clients. Kudos to both Sheyla and Tom, mad props and hats off to you both! Wish I could rate this review higher than five stars, both deserve that and all that is good, great and fantastic! Hope you enjoyed your lunch, Sheyla. Congratulations to both of you!
Ive been through some hefty trauma growing up. I have heard voices for most of my life and there, my traumatic experiences not only were dismissed and invalidated, but I was heavily misdiagnosed. Ive left the state at the end of last year and March this year I was diagnosed with DID, something my therapist at the time I came here to Valley didnt believe in and now that I know I actually have a trauma based dissociative disorder, I have whole identities and people who share my body (24 of us in all in fact) who can all say that this place made us feel worse and not better. Other than my therapist at the time, everyone else I met were awesome and actually were great people, so Im being generous for them.
I’ve been going here for about a year for my kids and they have been super awesome. Sure the front can be overwhelming at times but I don’t get angry with the front desk hey handle a lot at one time. The therapists we have had are awesome and they work really well with my kids. My only concern is the medication specialist is hard to get ahold of and the meetings they have run into my therapy time. So my therapist has been late once or twice, but other than that not bad at all.
Great Place I went there in one of the staff members Emily was a great person.
There reception are rude and they dont listen and then they sit there threatened you in the in process. Is that how they treat patients that has mental illness by threats and intimidation by not listening to us. We have rights to be treat like any normal people that walk in there. Not like a piece of trash and like these reception that sit behind that desk that check us in. Just remember we have feelings too. Just like anybody else. I will end here I hope when people read this they will have a voice to speak out for us disability people that had right be respected as other people that is normal.
Tim the therapist is awesome and has helped me tremendously throughout my experience! Thank you Tim for your concerns and help!
My therapist is always late and never as early appointments. My therapist calls me patiances because I will wait, there has been times where I want to get up and walk out and leave. I stopped seeing the nurse. I didnt feel safe and comfortable seeing the nurse there.

So i would advise you to stay AWAY from this company they have horrible customer service etc. I went there thinking they care about there patients.. i just wanted to go in and check out the place and make sure i was comfortable first because ive never been to a therapist before. The lady at the front desk was very rude and not helpful at all she explained to me that there would not be a charge and if there was a charge it wouldnt be until you actually see the therapist well this was just my first appointment and it was an intake appointment and i didnt even have any information on what type of appointment it was..i didnt know it was even an intake appointment until i got there! I thought i was going to check things out first and make sure i was comfortable first!! I got there and it was a complete joke the ladies at the front looked frazzled and upset and just frustrated and thy were so rude for someone who works with mental ill patients that is not how you treat them at all.So fast forward to yesterday and i got a bill for $122 after i was told that the first appointment after i was told there was no charge...Im so frustrated and annoyed with this company!! When i made the appointment they made the appointment at the wrong place when i specifically told them i wanted the West Valley Location it was just a headache to begin with and all of this misinformation its ridiculous!!! i did not have an appointment and i was NOT told that it was an actuall appointment until i got there then i asked them about the charge etc because i didnt have insurance at the time and they flat out lied to me!! I called the billing department yesterday and spoke with management but the manager ONCE AGAIN had an attitude and wasnt very helpful ive contacted the CEO of the company just so i can be heard they act like your retarded just because you want to be mentally healthy!!! I will be reaching back out but if i dont hear anything i will be reporting this issue to higher authority if i need to cause this is not how you treat your paients or prospect patients iam so upset and no one in that company seems to care! So just so everyone knows not to go to VALLEY MENTAL HEALTH they are the worst and they have the WORST customer service EVER!!
My experience att first was a little rocky. But they worked with me. And found a great doctor she is down to earth very loving and caring and that is the most important thing of all so I thank you so much. Dr Marlin little. Sincerely. Pete Segura.
Pathetic excuse for a facility that is supposed to help with mental health. Got a diagnosis last year for my child by both the therapist and psychiatrist. And medicated. Now on old thereapist from this company that works in the schools got involved again. Overnight the diagnosis changed. Without any of them seeing my child for a long period of time. With no real reason or notification . When confronted about it all i got was a bunch of nonsence talked in circles. Couldnt even give a proper response to any questions. Just that if you dont like it go elsewhere. Only usefull person there is one of the psychiatrist. Would not reccomend going here. Go to the university where they care to help and actually listen. And get results.
I called in to request medication refills. Bridget the customer service representative hung up on me. Tim the therapist is inconsistent with communication and fails to follow up. As a client of Valley Behavioral Health for nearly two decades I have seen an overall degradation in the quality of service and have been forced to seek treatment elsewhere.*Update: Therapists Lan, Marcella, and Karen have always been helpful. Further, Dr Sarah is the most best prescriber I know. She is genuinely caring, attentive, and intellectually sound in her field. She is a pioneer in a man’s world; a mother’s touch upon many of my peers who are in need of such tender mercy. Overall this branch of Valley Behaviorial Health in West Valley is a great place to facilitate on-going outpatient treatment. Hopefully you will have the same experience. Thank you VBH, Thank you Sarah 😌
Love my doctors they are very caring
They say they care & will work with u on your issues but it is quite a problem to get the help
There so good
They were no help to my husband and they cancelled on us twice and never informed us until we came in for the appointment. Never go.
Some staff members are... special snowflakes... to say the least... just flat out dumb....
