Called to ask about a mini skid system rental, couldnt remember the guys name but would give me absolutely no info that I was asking for, just tried to get rid of me. Very disappointed
I like this Home Depot and usually Home Depot is great with their tool rental program but I rented a tiller and it didnt work but I was still charged for it. They even tested the machine and realized it didnt work. I am just a little upset about still being charged for it.
Fairly straightforward tool and equipment rental: not the best, not the worst. Prices are okay, but you’ll usually pay less if you go to a smaller, local place. Tool/equipment condition is alright and generally plenty good to get the job done, but I’m not sure I’ve ever rented NEW equipment there. Staff is fine, but they’re sometimes short, stretched thin, and not as welcoming as they could be. The convenience, though... that’s hard to beat. They almost always have what I need when I need it, and they close, so I’ll continue to use them.
Ty at the west valley location was awesome. He did not have the tool I needed and went out of his way to find it. After on hold for ever. He decided to get me a tool that worked but was more expensive at the same price of the one I need. Thanks ty!!
Nelson in the tool rental area was very helpful, knowledgeable, and just a pleasure to work with. On a separate note...As with seemingly every home depot, the parking lot was full of the orange carts for hauling lumber, and not many available inside. Sometimes when employees ask me if I need help, and I really dont, I want to tell them to spend the next hour hauling the orange carts back inside.
Dont understand why its company policy not to help a customer. I called and ask if Im willing to take a risk Im getting a door cut down a quarter of an inch would they do it if I purchased it. Apparently its company policy because what they want you to do is buy a special order door or to rent their equipment. I would look into this is a company and really consider changing this policy.
The rental department is extremely incompetent. Both times ive come to rent equipment they have to get like three people to figure out how to rent things. My first experience the man at the counter spent five minutes on his phone before seeing me. The rest of the store is great. Awesomely helpful, great customer service. Two stars for the rental department.
Is there a way to give less than 1 star? Worst rental excited Ive ever had. I will never go back there!
Tools were in good condition and rental process was quick and easy. Will use them again for large 1 time project rentals.
They were nice and charged me 4 hours instead of a full day since the stump grinder they rented to me was useless. Dont think the grinding teeth had been replaced since home Depot purchased the machine.
