Worst shop I have ever used. My truck has had nothing but issues sense I got it back from them issues it never had before. It has become beyond unreliable. Parts that were paid for where actually never put in confirmed by a second shop. It used to be my daily but now just sits because it no longer runs correctly. 10/10 do NOT recommend

This is definitely the only shop to take your power stroke too!! I took my 7.3 to Jake, I explained the issues I was having and he assured me he could get it taken care of.. he gave me a target date and kept his word, my truck was done in time for us to leave town. I for sure recommend his shop!!

Great place. Chevy Duramax would not start. We looked at all the usual suspects. Everything looked good. The guys at Twisted Piston did a great job in the finding a hard to diagnose problem. They fixed it at a fair price.

I had very high hopes for this place. When we initially had a problem, charging system not working, they got the van right in diagnosed what they thought was the problem, replaced the battery, took it for a test drive, said it was charging the battery, and reasured me that the problem with the charging system was resolved. The warning light should go off after driving for a while. They said if I have any issues bring it back and they would take care of it. 3 days later the van stalled leaving my son on the side of the highway. We had it towed back to the shop and today 2 weeks later they have not looked at and do not plan to look at it anytime soon. They called because Tooele city is threatening to have the van towed because the van is parked in the street. I asked my options and was told they had no room in their parking lot. Dave recommened we take it to another shop to get it off the street. He said they have no plans to stand behind the work they did and it was not his problem because he did not work on it. He is just the guy who calls the customers. I feel like I have been taken advantage of. They got their money for the initial work over $200 for a new battery and are not interested in actually fixing the problem. I strongly do not recommend this place for auto repair. The the shop is one of those you always hear about and are warned to avoid. They give mechanics a bad name.

These guys give you heart, they bust there jumps to get it right. Some of the best young mechanics in the biz. If you need your Powerstroke worked on, this is the only place to take it! By far the best shop Ive been to for my 6.0.

Called into this shop and requested a quote for my Toyota Tacoma. I had previously called some other shops in the area to compare prices... The guys name was Jake and he quoted me almost double what some of the other shops were AND tried throwing parts at me that I KNOW I didnt need. This guy seems super shady and just based on my phone call with him, I wouldnt recommend trusting this guy with your vehicles. Sucks because his google reviews seem to have him doing good work but I bet most of these reviews are his friends and not actual customers.

Twisted piston did an amazing job at a very reasonable price. I have taken my 2002 f350 there twice... first time they took out my 7.3 f350 engine and replaced all the seals in my engine (used to leak oil and now does not), they also replaced a manifold that was rusting at the same time. Second time they replaced my torque converter (after a correct diagnosis) and replaced the transmission pan with a high quantity pan. Again at a reasonable price. My truck runs/tows flawlessly now! Thanks to Jake and twisted piston.

I took my truck in there for some custom work. Some mechanical work, custom paint matched bumper, wheels and tires He called me several times during the process to give me updates. Got my truck back running and looking better than before. Jake is a stud and Vary professional. The group he has there are awesome and the final bill was less than I expected

So thankful for Jake! I went in and got my AC issue diagnosed on Saturday, and it was so helpful to find out exactly what was going on with my Mazda. Jake was kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. He was transparent about the issues my car is facing, and went through and explained exactly why each cost was assigned to the repair.I really loved the experience we had here, and Im thankful for small businesses like this. I would absolutely recommend this garage to anyone!

I went to get my car my car fixed and got my car back with it screeching. They told me it should go away within an hour. I took it back 6 different times to them because the screeching never went away. Jake said he would take it to the dealer to see what was up because he couldn’t find what was wrong and said IT WAS GOING TO BE ON HIS DIME. He took it in and it was the O2 sensor 🙄 said the bill came out to 400 something then said I needed to meet him half way with the bill because he couldn’t cover the whole cost. Never going to that place again!! Ripped me off big time!! Smh I would recommend taking your car to a different place cause Twisted Piston ain’t it 🖕🏽🙄

Jake has been a life saver. Hes installed my 20°hpop, chip, exhaust, intake, deleted turbo pedestal, turbo rebuild with bigger wheel, traction bars. My truck performs flawlessly & his automative knowledge is extraordinary. Ill never take my truck to another shop.

My car is running absolutely amazing I did write a bad review with alot of information that I had no knowledge he didnt over charge me for my turbo had actually giving me dealer price for my first time going to a mechanic was actually decent it did take awhile but from me looking on it I had really no idea how long it would take did have some issues trying to get parts in which I guess isnt very uncommon the only issue I did have was I paid it in full and seemed like my turbo didnt get ordered right away but other than that Im glad I went to that shop after hearing what dealerships have done I am thankful to have someone do a good job and make sure everything is running before I got it back sorry Jake for the misinformation your a very good mechanic and no one should ever post a review if you dont know much about what you reviewing
