Travis was very helpful! I was going home when the plastic splash pad (or whatever you call it) under the front of my car was scraping the ground. They were able to put it back up free of charge. Travis is very knowledgeable and was more than happy to help. I’ll definitely be going back here if I’m ever in the west valley area again. ❤️❤️

They were GREAT. I was told by another shop that I needed new rotors. And a Ford Dealership told me my brake pads were getting very low. So, I scheduled doing both jobs together at Back Shop Auto.They looked at the brakes and rotors and then test drove my vehicle.I was surprised when they called to tell me my brakes werent nearly to the point of needing this work. And that I would be basically wasting my money to do it at this point.I told them Id be back when that work (or any other) was needed!They didnt even charge me for their time!To me this demonstrates a truly honest business. I would completely trust their word on the cost of any needed work.They didnt take advantage of me even when the opportunity was handed to them!

Not only are they overpriced but they said they checked my fluids. If they had actually checked my fluids they would have seen my transmission fluid was burnt and thats why my car was shifting so roughly. Now its too late for it. Thanks for nothing guys.

We recently had an expensive repair and they tried their hardest to keep it below a certain price. We ended up paying almost $200 less than what we were expecting. These guys dont mess with you. I can even send my wife and I know they wont try to get her to pay for things she doesnt need to do to the car. Quick and chill to talk to. Prices are comparable if not less than usual. Oil changes are cheaper than other corporate places so go help out this great local place.

Instead of fixing a car on its last legs/wheels to earn the money they tell us straight up, you need a new car. (Or used and in better shape than this one.) I appreciate the integrity. Brakes were grinding so i looked up shops nearby and came across this one. Everything was quick and simple. Dropped vehicle off around 9am and got vehicle back by 3pm. Pricing was decent so I also gave them the okay to do an oil change as well. No questions asked and they didnt try to up sell on anything. Overall i had a good experience and would recommend this business.

I chose The Back Shop due to its great reviews I had found online. I was tired of being taken advantage of and wanted my car fixed correctly and for a fair price. Since I relied so heavily on these reviews, I thought it would be helpful for others considering having their car serviced here to hear my experience to hopefully save them the same frustration I went through. I had dropped my car off to have a few parts replaced. They gave me an estimated time of when I should expect the work to be completed and an hour past that time so I called to check on the progress of my vehicle. One of the employees let it slip that one of the technicians had been driving my car and ran over a pothole and blew one of my tires. They assured me they had replaced my tire free of charge and to not worry about it. I understand that accidents happen and was not upset about the fact my tire had blown in the first place but was frustrated because there was no communication until after the fact. I had a warranty on my tire and I would have told them to put the spare on so I can take my tire in to have it replaced. I had not reached even half of my mileage on my warranty. They were still in great shape. Either way I arrived to pick up my car and viewed the new tire that had been put on. The tire was bald. It would not pass current safety and emissions protocol and it was a different brand from my Michelin tires, which is extremely dangerous. I explained to them this tire would not be safe for me to use on my vehicle and stated I would be going to use my warranty to get a new tire and would like them to pay the prorated amount to make this right. They fought me on it and said they would only pay a quarter of the prorated amount. They then changed it to half. At the end of the day I walked out and didnt pay my bill because I couldnt trust them to hold to their part of the agreement to pay for my new tire. I told them I would be in tomorrow morning with my bill for my new tire and we could subtract it from their bill for the work performed on my car. Since the discussion had been so frustrating, the next day I brought in my dad who is an police officer to help mediate the conversation. They continued to tell lies and create different stories even with a police presence there. In the end they paid for my new tire but not after a lot of arguing and pushing them to do the right thing. I fear if my dad had not been there they wouldve continued to take advantage of me. If the situation had gone differently and they would have done the right thing from the start my review would have been completely opposite but instead they took no responsibly and threw honesty out the window. I was hopeful with this mechanic shop but have been let down once again. Take caution if you do still choose to have your car serviced here. Dont expect them to do the right thing without a fight. I will never have my cars serviced here again.

I really appreciated the customer service and care that they provided. My car has a few problems and the gentleman helping me treated me with respect and understood my financial situation. He helped me prioritize what to fix now and what to fix when I come back in a couple weeks, since I couldnt afford it all at once. They also do a military discount!While I was shopping for the best price, I called a different mechanic and he literally scoffed at me when I said I got a diagnostic at AutoZone to get an idea of why my check engine light was on. Then when I expressed concern at his quote price, he made me feel disrespected and talked down to me. The only good thing he did was recommended me here.

Referred here by a good friend and had a great experience. Very upfront and detailed in the issues and projected repairs, quote was accurate and the time frame was very reasonable. A bit out of the way for me to come on a regular basis, but for a one-time bigger repair (knock on wood) these guys were fantastic all around.

My husbands family took their vehicles here for years and have had good service f Im the mechanics. When our car blew the engine we took it there for diagnosing. The mechanics were quick and thorough. Heres where the problem comes in. After diagnosing they parked the car in the lot outside and during the night it was broken into and about $1000 worth of sport equipment was stolen from the trunk. One of the mechanics the next day noticed the trunk ajar and closed it but didnt think anything of it. When we found that the items were missing I called the owner to open a claim on the insurance of the company to get the items replaced as it was in their possession on their property. The owner was an absolute jerk about the whole situation and refused to even look into it. According to him the car just so happened to be parked in the one location the cameras dont see. How convenient. He also said that once the car is in the lot its considered public property which I know is not true. Needless to say we did not get any compensation to replace the custom created items that were taken from their property under lock and surveillance. My advice is if you need same day service they are great but dont let them keep your vehicle overnight as they take no responsibility for anything that may happen to it.

If I could give these guys a 10 I would!! Im new to the area and was looking for an honest mechanic that wasnt going to try and take advantage of me and sell me on things that I didnt need. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a try. Alex was amazing, he found the issue, showed me what was wrong and took care of my truck right then. He helped me get the warranty taken care of on my belt, and when everything was finished the price was less than what he quoted me. I will not go anywhere else, these guys are honest and affordable. I was pleasantly surprised with the service. After I actually called several places - I was scheduled else where later this week. I decided to check around again & found Back Shop. The reviews & hours had me convinced I should just call. Spoke to Travis after our convo I was sold. They said around noon theyd know & were kinda booked.. Understandable, I expected a day or two maybe. 9:30 AM they called & had the answer, parts ordered & I picked up my car in less than 24 hrs. NEVER have I ever had auto work done or even started like that easy, and honestly stress relieving to say... Oddly? Idk thats how it should be. Maybe its not always that easy but I am sending my BF here, & told my family & friends and will send them here.

Ive been going to this shop for the last 6 years and have taken in the last three cars Ive owned here. I refer all of my friends and family to go here. Every time I come here they dont try to add extra work if its not necessary. (Ie. New serpentine belt if your alternator goes bad.) They are always great help and very informative. Their prices are also very reasonable which is also a huge reason why I keep coming back. They cant to some things like alignments and I believe tires and some specialty work. Buts its well worth everything their shop has to offer.

Greg and Alex are my go to experts when it comes to my automobiles. The have always gone out of their way to make sure the service they provide is top notch. They treat all their customers like family. One of the best run business I have the pleasure to work with. I am a raving fan!

I took my car here to get fixed, had a problem with my radiator that was leaking, they replaced it, Later in the day I got a call from them and they told me they found another leak, they told me to replace that other part that was leaking coolant wich would cost me a couple hundred more, this of course if I wanted to fix it right away so I asked how much is it leaking? they said just a few drops once in a while so I thought I could drive my car with no problem if it was a minor leak I could deal with it, so I rejected the offer they gave me to fix it, I got my car back and drove home; a couple days later I started noticing my car making a weird noises and lots of steam coming out of the hood and the car was leaking even faster than when my radiator was bad, so I decided to check the car because I know About mechanics and found that there was a little cut on the main hose that connects the radiator to the engine and when I replaced it myself I looked at the cut closer And realized that somebody cut it with a knife and I’m saying this because you could see the cut was perfectly straight and you could see it was made by a knife, so what I’m thinking is they probably cut it so my car was leaking more often and that way I could for sure come back and give them my money, I don’t want to think this way but my hose was cut on purpose and the only place that worked on my car was this place so I won’t come back here!! I don’t like dishonesty!!
