Our dishwasher was working before the technician arrived. He replaced a part and left. After he left, I could not run a full cycle. Quality Appliance said they couldnt get someone out for a WEEK AND A HALF. So I was left without a working dishwasher due to technician error that they made no attempt to try to correct, nor did it seem like they even cared. Fortunately I found another company to work with and they had the issue resolved quickly.
Started a repair in November 2020, its now February 2021. $400 later and my dishwasher is still not fixed. Their specialist kept making guesses as to what might be the problem but only managed to drive up the costs of repairs. I called hoping to get some answers but was met with resistance and blamed for the problem because I had not let their specialist pump the drain for another $100 which would have put my repairs at over $500. Given my experience with QAS, who knows if them pumping the drain would have helped or if it would have been just another excuse to charge me more money. To top it all off, the repair was shoddy, unsightly, and poor quality. Long delays in between services. Sub par service. Sloppy quality of work (see pictures). Not knowledgable specialists. All these things plus a now four-month delay with nothing to show for it justify this one star review.
I have used Quality Appliance for years and they have always done excellent work for me. This past week however they went above and beyond to make sure my ice machine was up and running for the holiday! I know that an ice machine is not a top priority, but for my family and myself it meant everything. I will continue to use them!
I give this company 4 out of 5 because I had to wait a while to get them out to my house, but it was worth the wait! I have been without a working refrigerator for 5 months, having to deal with a warranty company. I was finally sent to Quality Appliance and they had my appliance working in a week! I could honestly cry from happiness. This will be the only company I let touch my appliances from here on.
Drove 250 miles from Ketchum Idaho home for an appointment I waited a week for. Scheduled from 2 to 4. Called at 3 and they confirmed a later time at 6. At 5 they left a message canceling and offering to reschedule. No way. Things change but they had no interest in my situation only theirs. Girl just keep saying MY technicians had a BIG job. We’ll likely so. My advice is to direct your business to someone who is more professional and respectful. I would NOT recommend this business.
I had Robert from Quality out to my cabin and he was great! He knew all about the brand (Wolf) and gave me some great tips on how to keep it maintained. I will use him again!
Beware! I would never use this company again. When I received the estimate for $990.72 to replace my oven relay board I questioned the price. I called Dacor and the board was $313.13 with tax and shipping. Quality wanted to charge me $725.75 for the exact same part. Im OK with with a markup on parts but more than double is outrageous! Buyer beware!
Unfathomable. Refrigerator was under extended warranty. Refrigerator was only 2 years old. The compressor was bad yet has a 10 year warranty. LG is refusing to reimburse us because they want the compressor back. The manager just spoke over the top of me, not allowing a word in edgewise. She just kept saying the EPA could fine them if they dont throw away immediately. It is their policy. Yet, when I challenged why didnt the technician know about said policy so we could decide to keep it or not she dodged the question saying the EPA could shut them down if they dont dispose of the compressor because it has oil in it LOL. Stay away from this company, stay far far away
BEWARE!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!This is the worst and most dishonest appliance company I have had the unpleasant experience of dealing with.First I am 15-year public safety official and have served my community well!We initially experienced a dishwasher that would not drain so we disconnected the dishwasher and try to blow and then use a hanger in an attempt to remove the clog to no avail so my wife called Quality Appliance to have them come out.The first impression he seemed off but he was friendly and courteous. He went to work looking to find the repair and had pulled out the dishwasher to do so and he showed me the drain hose and explained it would be $233.00 to replace it and offered up using dishwasher magic or vinegar to dislodge the clog.He then put it back together and reinstalled it and we poured vinegar and ran it on the hot cycle which fixed the problem.3 days later while my 6-year-old daughter was playing downstairs she saw water running down the wall and informed us. We quickly located the source so somewhere beneath our kitchen cabinets and with the recent repair, my first thought was the dishwasher so I removed it and located a leak coming from the water inlet and shot the video you see below. I then shut off the water and called and spoke to Britney who assured us they would take care of it and they were insured and bonded. I also stated we hadnt touched anything and left to them to repair the leak which she said was great. They sent the SAME tech out who located the leak from the water inlet which he fixed and then never fully put the dishwasher back together or secured it.Now today they told my wife that I caused the damage by removing the dishwasher which I only did AFTER we discovered the leak. Then the tech said he never pulled the dishwasher out which is a flat out lie! How Else would I have seen the drain hose clog as it was going through the hole the cabinet?I followed due diligence contacted them Immediately and left everything untouched except for pulling it out to discover the leak. Now if I had pulled it out prior to him arriving there would have been a significant amt of water which we did not see at ALL! The water was only discovered after he performed the repair. We have filed a BBB complaint and are following suit with small claims and our insurance who is also seeking to recover the cost from them.THEY ARE DISHONEST and snide in their remarks once they tried to shift blame to us!They are shady, the tech should be FIRED for incompetency and more importantly lying and being deceitful!BEWARE!!!!!! Do not end up victimized like us see their other reviews as well we are not the first!ANY PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICIAL PLEASE AVOID USING QUALITY APPLIANCE AT ALL COST!!!! FROM A FELLOW BROTHER THEY ARE EXTREMELY DECEITFUL!They are causing an extreme hardship on our family from their techs lies, we have also contacted the insurance company and they are pursuing Quality Appliance as well!
Call representative Brittany was rude and unprofessional. This company performed a repair on our ice maker, which later failed. They would not honor the one year parts and labor warranty that was originally promised when the repair was first completed. I explained my frustration about not honoring their original commitment, and Brittany was combative from the moment I raised my concerns. Shame that this is a licensed Samsung repair outlet.
Luckily, we were able to get an appointment before our warranty expired, but after waiting for diagnostics, parts, repair, etc. (2 months), it expired and the microwave panel cover fell off WITH ALL CLIP PARTS broken after our repair... now its no longer under warranty and GE nor Quality Appliance Service will stand behind their work and come fix what obviously they broke. Its an easy fix but disappointing that we have to put money into an appliance that is only a year old. Also.... the appliance company makes it seem like you have an appointment, but your initial appointment time is only a TIME for QAS to call back and make a REAL appointment... odd. Ive had QAS come before under warranty deals and I just prefer other repair people... Ill end with GE sucks big time.
They were really nice at first..Had called two other companies and only used this company because they said they were LG certified.... I specifically told the girl I talked to I didn’t want to pay for the diagnostic just to find out they couldn’t do the work. She assured me that they were family ran and would never do such a thing. Then when it became a LG warranty issue.... it went downhill from there. Called in after I was told it was a motor issue and I was looking at $500 to replace. Told them it was under warranty, they told me they were not certified to do LG warranty repair they immediately jumped off the deep end of being incredibly rude and hostile. I was called a liar and that I was never told they were LG certified. Now I have to wait and pay AGAIN for an actual LG certified company to do the work and I’m out the $90.. businesses that treat customers like this don’t deserve to be in business.**upadate.. it was less than $100 to get the warranty work done with someone who did LG warranties..
Definitely the absolute worst customer service I personally have ever experienced. Felt like a scam. Even after I tried to talk to a manager, their manager Esther was very rude. I felt very taken advantage of by this company. I run rental properties so I have appliances fixed several times a year and never had anything even close to these issues.I called Quality Appliance to have a dishwasher repaired because they were the only company available for an emergency repair on a rental that week, they would send somebody out on Friday because it was an urgent matter. They came out to my rental and said that the part was two weeks out, scheduled my install. Then the problems began. The date of the install, two weeks later, they called last minute and said the part was not in yet and said it should be there in a couple days. They never called again with an eta. I called them two times the following week, both times they were unable to locate the part. They ended up telling me I would have to call GE myself and try to see if I could locate it, which was very odd. My third call in to the company weeks after I was told it was scheduled I let them know that I would have to get it fixed somewhere else this was a rental property and the whole reason I called was to have it done quickly. They were very nice on the phone said that was totally understandable but then called me a month later trying to demand I pay them, so I asked for a manager because it made no sense and the manger Esther said I had to pay within 30 days or they would send me to collections.I run several properties I have never had anything like this ever happen. It was an absolute awful experience. They couldn’t do what I called to have them do but wanted me to pay regardless. Even though the part is back ordered for another month, it would be three months when I was told two weeks. It felt Like they do this on purpose, especially since they were aware of the urgency of getting this repaired from the moment I called. There are great appliance repair companies and in my opinion this is definitely not one of them.
Horrible. Worst ever. Would give zero stars but google wont let me. Check the BBB for their F rating, wish we would have.
I first used QAS in 2016 when our 4 year old Samsung fridge suddenly stopped cooling (the freezer worked fine). Since not everyone services Samsung, I called around until I found QAS. They seemed nice enough on the phone and Adam came out a few days later to take a look. He took the panel off the back of the fridge (inside) and found that the whole panel had frozen over. He told me...to the tune of $400 that the mother board needed to be replaced. Seeing that we didnt want to replace the fridge, we did the repair. Fast forward to June 2018 and the same problem. Adam came out again and the whole back panel was frozen solid. This time, he said it was the defroster sensor that couldnt tell when the panel started icing over so it needed to be replaced. Adam assured me that this would make sure that the back panel did not freeze over again. The cost? Another $400. Now we are in January 2020 and our icemaker stopped working and a funny noise was coming out of the fridge. We decided to call QAS one more time to take a look before deciding to repair it again or buy a new one. This time, Frank came out, looked at the fridge for less than 5 minutes and said the fan panel had to be replaced. $300. He didnt even take the panel off to see if it was frozen or anything. Oh, and that the icemaker needed to be replaced as well. Another $300. We paid the $70 diagnostic fee and said we wanted to call back about the repair. Just for kicks, my husband and I took the panel off the fridge and found the panel frozen over again. EVEN THOUGH WE SPENT $300 REPLACING THE DEFROSTER SENSOR SO IT DOESNT FREEZE!!! The fan was working fine and had no ice on it. Once we defrosted it, like they should have had us do, it worked fine. I called QAS and the girl who answered the phone said she didnt know anything because was new and not a technician. When I asked to talk to a manager, she said I had to call back on Monday. I had to call twice on Monday before the girl who answered the phone would even let me talk to the manager. Not that it was any use. BRITTNEY the manager told me that it doesnt matter that the fridge worked after we defrosted the ice because we still needed to replace the fan. And because Frank listened to my fridge and knew it was the fan and diagnosed that the ice maker needed to be replaced, he had done his job and she wasnt going to refund the $70. When I asked her why the panel was still freezing when we replaced the defroster sensor, she said appliances evolve and she couldnt answer that because it was past their one year warranty. I asked her again to refund my $70 because they didnt do anything and she said no. I said I didnt think it was fair to pay when they didnt really do anything and said maybe I should cancel my credit card payment. She said that was fine because she also does the collections and she doesnt have any problem sending me to collections. I told her it was pathetic that they would hang their reputation on $70 and she told me she was hanging up because she didnt see the point of continuing the conversation. When I asked to speak with someone else above her, she said I couldnt speak with anyone else. Im glad they just scammed me out of $70 this time and not another $600 like they tried. STAY AWAY!! Use other honest repair companies other reviewers have suggested on here.
Beware of Scammers! They quoted us $150 to fix the spring in our dishwasher. They ran the card, but charged us $400. 250$ for just the spring in a dishwasher that was completely functioning. They also didnt send us a bill for our dryer and then sent us to collections for not paying. We never received a bill. They didnt even do anything it was just a service charge for coming over. Ridiculous and horribly unprofessional. The technician was kind, but the company itself is a scam.
Called to have my Samsung refrig repaired. Told the girl Brittney what I believed the problem was, said she would get back me. She never did. I contacted them again the next day and she apologized and said they would call back. They never did. Thus our refrig repair was delayed 2 days. Cannot recommend them.
These guys were great! The tech that came to my house, I cant remember his name, but he was awesome! The lady who answered the phone was so nice to deal with and answered all of my questions. She was able to save me from having to pay someone to install the vent on my dryer! So helpful! My wine cooler has never been colder! Thank You Quality Appliance!
This place is a scam. Do not use.I called and gave the representative my washing machine info and simply asked a price range because I was trying to figure out if the cost of the repair would be greater than just replacing the washing machine itself. I would rather fix the one I have, its never had a problem before. The representative said she didnt know how much any work would cost, that the technician had to diagnose the issue in person, but hourly rates were $108. When I Googled the symptoms it sounded like a 1-2 hour job plus parts, around $400.When the technician showed up, 5 days later, we gave him the same description of the problem. He didnt turn it on, he diagnosed based on our verbal description. Then he said it would be better to buy an new machine before looking up the parts, he has seen this problem before. He said it would be around $1000.Needless to say this company has dealt with this same issue many times and does have historical data on the average price for this type of work. The only reason I can surmise is that they want to charge $70 to tell you to buy a new machine.
They fixed my True ridge and they were amazing! The tech that came out knew what he was doing and the lady who answered the phone was so polite. I checked around after they gave me the bid and they had the best value. I will be calling them again!
My wife called during the week to set up an appointment to look at the washing machine. The soonest time they had available was Saturday (8/8) between 4 pm and 7 pm., which we begrudgingly took. She called on Friday, the day before, and confirmed my appointment. The technician was a no-show. No phone call, no text message, nothing. We had to give up our time and cancel plans just to be ghosted by Quality Appliance. I attempted to call the company at the numbers listed but there wasnt even a voicemail to leave a message. What a joke! Zero Stars!
I appreciate the service very knowledgeable tech, thanks Robert!
The team at Quality Appliance Service are wonderful to work with. I had an issue with an LG washing machine and they were able to assist me with ease. There is a great atmosphere from the moment you you walk through their doors, and they actually have customer service. This is a business that Id recommend over again and again. Everyone there has an excellent sense of humor to being overall friendly, and for a company that deals with repairs it is hard to find. To everyone at Quality Appliance Service, thank you!
Very poor customer service. They came out, diagnosed the problem and we agreed to fix it at the price that was quoted. He came out a week later, said that actually wasn’t the issue and he needed to charge us another $300 on top of the $700 they already wanted to charge. When I asked them if they would guarantee that they could fix it then, they told me no, they wouldn’t guarantee anything or stand behind their work. We ended up wasting time and money with this company. DO NOT USE THEM. Luckily we got out of it only paying the service fee instead of the $1000+ dollars they wanted to charge, although we shouldn’t have had to pay that, because they misdiagnosed the problem. Also, in the middle of a pandemic the service tech did not bother to wear a mask, which did not impress us.
These guys were AWSOME! The tech that came to my house, I cant remember his name, was super professional and helpful! The lady who answered the phone was super nice and funny. Ill definitely use them again!
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE dont make the same mistake I made by using this company. Two months from the time I made the first call until my Refrigerator was fixed. I would have gone to another company but they collected $700 for a part they subsequently damaged. Customer Service out right lied to me three different times and gave new defination to the term rude. Try to leave a survey on their site and you get a 404 (broken link) message.
I love working with Quality Appliance Service and their staff! Robert has always taken care of us and is great at making sure our appliances are fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Brittany and Rena in the office are always a pleasure to deal with and make scheduling and billing simple and fast.
Markus came to diagnose my dryer, and told me that the heating element needed to be replaced but he didn’t have it like I was told he would. I was told the part would be $370+ and it would take 5 days to get here. He left without plugging the wires back in to the heating element, and I found the part for $60 online. So basically, this company will charge you for drive time TWICE, and 4x on parts. I tried calling Markus to let him know he left the wires unplugged, and his phone number isn’t even in service. When I told the company I didn’t feel like I should have to pay for this, they immediately threatened to take me to collections. What a way to do business and gain customer satisfaction. If I could give 0 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate.
Poor service, fast scheduling is not their process. Warranty calls are scheduled 3+ weeks. Meanwhile you have no working appliance. Dispatch is very RUDE. Do business elsewhere
My dryer was working fine but had a squeal. I had Quality Appliance come out and repair and now the heating element isn’t working. The technician checked the element as part of the service and found no problem at that time.EDIT OF PRIOR REVIEW: After speaking with the manager she was very apologetic about the issue and sent the technician out today. As suspected, the heating element was unplugged. The technician fixed the issue and verified the dryer was heating before he left. The only reason for 3 stars was the Original response from the Dispatcher.
Rep that came to my house was Very unprofessional and inappropriate.Called to speak to manager. Was transferred to Brittany. I explained to her the way the rep treated me.She was extremely rude and called the rep while I was still on the phone to tell him that I was “complaining” about him. In a very condescending rude voice, she said the reps have to ask how much I paid for my house, how much our renovation cost, and other inappropriate personal questions in order to “know more about your appliances”.I told her the price I paid for my house, renovation and comments about how it was a “dump” before the renovation have nothing to do with my appliance. Her reply- “it’s just small talk and he can say anything he wants. I told her I it was not ok it for her to get him on the phone while she was on the phone with me and that I had asked that my concerns was confidential so he wouldn’t know who filed a complaint. She became every more angry and hurled more insults at me.It became clear at this point that she is either related to the rep or he is one of her “favorites” and she would rather lose a customer than handle a valid and serious concern properly. She is inappropriate, unprofessional and clearly not qualified to be a manager.Look at the yelp reviews, the company does not provide good service.
My wife and I just spent our entire afternoon waiting for the repair crew to arrive at our home for a previously scheduled appointment; this after waiting over two weeks for them to get back to us from an earlier appointment. (I wonder if they will reimburse me for taking 1/2 day off of work to be there for them.) Then, on top of our frustration and aggravation re: todays appointment - were then informed that the Service Team cannot come back until Friday; five more days. Youd think that if a customer had been left hanging one afternoon....theyd be back first thing the following morning to make things right. What ever happened to quality, caring customer service? Poor, poor performance. Ill be contacting General Electric tomorrow morning....
Wish I would have seen all of the reviews before we had them in our home. Absolute worst customer service of ANY company I’ve ever used in my entire life. Rudest employees. Are not up front about pricing. Very dishonest. Get told one thing then another thing 5 minutes later and then blame me for “misunderstanding”. DO NOT USE.
My mom told me to obtain a Speed Queen washing machine and clothes dryer, so of course I obeyed. When the washing machine malfunctioned down, I was heart broken! This was a pricey set, so I believed the fixing would certainly be high-priced as well; for that reason, I desired someone that know what they were doing, so I called this firm and I was very happy with the service. Would certainly advise them for high-end laundry appliance repair.
I have a thermador sapphire dishwasher, top model in my opinion and worthy of a high quality appliance service technician for repairs, so I knew I could not just call anybody. I asked around and found this company who specializes in premium brand appliances. Their technicians and support staff were great. Repair was done, but I had forgot about some questions I wanted to ask, so I called them back and they answered all my questions. Very professional and capable. Great home service provider!
Very dishonest company! Stay away!! They charge you $80 to diagnose and then give you a ridiculous estimate for repair. When you refuse to pay their completely out of this world pricing, you get stuck with an $80 charge. I called an honest company that repaired our fridge for 1/3 the price.
Horrible customer service. I’d recommend staying far away from this company. Speed oven delivered and installed damaged 4 times. Same with the range top. Still awaiting an operable speed oven after a year. Impossible to get a call back and when I called today to get answers, she said she felt uncomfortable when I asked if she’d like to speak to my attorney as well. Want to talk uncomfortable? Let’s talk about the dozen phone calls I’ve made with no responses! Or the thousands of dollars in kitchen appliances that don’t work. That’s uncomfortable! Not asking “if you’d like to speak with my attorney instead of me.”Someone needs some customer service classes!
If you would like a company that lies to you and treats you as less than human, Use QAS!!!I however will never, ever, ever use this company.Heed my warning and stay away from these rude, incompetent and liars of so called people. If you are reading this and have used QAS in the past please review and save others. Dont just sit by and let them make a business. If you are reading this and have not used QAS, DONT!!!! EVER!!!!!!Stay away!
Superb service! They arrive on time, work fast and do a great job! I HIGHLY recommend them!
My son bought me a Miele dishwasher and ran into problems installing it, so I called this appliance service company that I have been using for 13 years now. They came out right away and complete the installation. The technician also took a look at my oven and replaced a small part at no extra charge! Wow, what a great home service provider! Chivalry is not dead after all!
My experience with this company was very bad. They are dishonest liars without good treatment to the clients and without knowledge of what they say and do.No professional customer serviceThey replaced my refrigerator compressor and it never worked for an hour.I spoke back to the company and they could not give me an explanation or reason why they could not fix it because they had no contact with the technician. Finally, after three weeks, they answered my call and told me this .....because I had moved the refrigerator I had lost the guarantee of its repair.Stay away from this company. They just seek to steal and scam people with their money.I would give them zero stars. They dont deserve even one.
Check with the Better Business Bureau first. Techs are great, office if you have problems, Yikes!
They showed up to my house without masks on during a pandemic where two immunodeficient people live. Honestly who isn’t wearing a mask these days to work inside somebody else’s house!? They also caused a leak to go from the dishwasher to the basement and when I seemed upset about it one of the workers responded with a very sarcastic “sorry”.
This company is a joke. It took 1 month for us to get our fridge fixed. ONE MONTH. Between constantly calling them, finding out updates on the part, being told I would get a phone call back, etc. Then when they actually get the part in, I’m told it’s going to be another week because the technician is “on vacation”. SO unprofessional. The icing on the cake? 10 min before the repair man shows up, I’m told we are responsible for a $500 labor fee. Say what?? The receptionist was extremely rude and told me to “look in the owners manual and that I should have known. No. It should have been relayed to the customer (me) before my appointment....perhaps during the one week I waited for someone to repair it. Try another company if you need something fixed!! The only thing quality about them is their technician Marcus. He did a great job and was extremely friendly.
I asked that they come out and check my refrigerator, because it stopped working, the price was so high to fix it, that we did not have the money for it, but obviously need it to be fixed. Come March and I have less funds because everything with Covid happened. I talked to them today and they are not willing to work with me and sending me to collections for the inspection, even though I still wanted my fridge fixed when I can obtain money again, I asked for a month. I understand that everyone needs to be paid, I still needed to be paid from my business, but have not been and am understanding of what is happening in the world right now.
This company is staffed with very low IQ workers. They will come charge you for a service call and then will not follow up . I called them after 5 days and they say I am not in their system then the mentally challenged person that answered the phone asked me 4 times what my address is. Kept putting me on hold and asking me over and over again what is my address what is my phone number . This company seems to be a scam. I paid for a service and they charged me and then pretend it did not happen. Read all the bad reviews on this company before wasting your time calling . Observe the business card left with me by their worker. But they claim they didnt show up.
My daughter bought me a Miele dishwashing machine and ran into troubles installing it, so I called this appliance service contractor that I have actually been utilizing for 13 years now. They arrived out right away to perform the installing. The technician likewise had a look at my oven and repaired a small component at no extra cost! Wow, what a fantastic home service provider! Chivalry is not dead nevertheless!
Thanks Mike! For another great resolution of an appliance issue. Our Sub Zero is back up and running great, and its nearly 20 years old. Weve been using Quality for over a decade. We purchased high quality appliances 20 years ago and have been maintaining them with Quality over the years. Theyve saved us a fortune on new appliances by repairing and maintaining our existing units. We couldnt be happier! Thats the way to save money; buy top quality appliances and have them maintained by Mike and the gang! Love you guys!
I was refused service by Brittany because they didnt want to fill out our vendor packet (single form) and provide a W-9 and Liability Insurance Certificate. Very unprofessional customer service and very rude manager. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to allow me to. lm amazed that somone would refuse service over 3 sheets of paper and would have liked to be sure the owners know they are turning away business. We are a property management company with multiple properties thorughout Utah and I am happy to take my business to Mr. Applicance.
My newly remodeled kitchen was a dream come true until my Fisher & Paykel built-in refrigerator stopped working. I was concerned with how difficult it would be to work on and afraid of damage to the kitchen, but the service tech who responded to my call assured me that he was a specialist in this brand and that it was all in a day’s work for him. No problems, everything went well, refrigerator is working great and still looks great too! Thank you guys – we will keep your number and call you if we should need your service again.
Just got off the phone with Leonard, the owner of Quality Appliance.Extreme rudeness, belligerence, stonewalling, and accusations are never good business tactics. My experience with him and his company was bad. Period.I like to do business with reputable, honest, respectful, knowledgeable people with excellent customer service.I lost $400 on their service and have a useless washing machine.Their actions say loud and clear they only care about the bottom line of profits.Gaining monetarily at the expense of good customer relations is never a win. Ill treatment of anyone will always come back to bite.I hope this information will help someone else avoid wasted time and money.Too bad there is not a minus grade for them, one star is entirely too generous.
My mom told me to get a Speed Queen washer and dryer, so of course I did. When the washer broke down, I was heart broken! This was an expensive set, so I assumed the repair would be high-priced too; therefore, I wanted someone who know what they were doing, so I called this company and I was very happy with the service. Would definitely recommend them for high-end appliance repair.
Weve had nothing but positive experiences with Quality Appliance. Weve had Robert, Leonard, and Adam out. All three are super nice and know what they are doing. They are professional, patient, accommodating, and great to work with.
My refrigerator was not cooling. It took a week to get it the part. When I called to set up the appointment I told them about my coupon. On the day that I paid I did not realize that the coupon had not been added. I called to ask them to honor the coupon, they said they would have a manager call me. I have yet to receive a call it has been 2 weeks. I have tried again to no avail. Be careful with this before you pay. Not a customer friendly company. A couple weeks ago they contacted me and did reimburse me $25.
My Electrolux washing machine was very expensive, but it has been well used with 8 kids and 2 dogs – big family, big laundry! So when I called this service I was afraid they would tell me to replace the washer, but he said it was a simple fix. The price was reasonable and I must say I am very happy!
Markus was great. Nice guy. Showed up during the window. They called me beforehand to make sure I was home and still available to come by. He gave me all of the details and even discussed alternatives with me. My fridge is now up and running and Im a happy camper.
Such helpful staff! They helped me get the exact part I needed. And when I left my phone at the store they (and called to tell them I wouldnt make it before close) they offered to wait after close to give me my phone
I appreciate the work they do. Theyve been out to my house many time over the past couple of years and they do good work. I will use them forever.
Quality Appliance was fast and the tech that came out knew what he was doing. They were able to fit me in the day I called and had my Wolf stove working the next day! My wife was very happy to be able to cook again! Thank you!
Best service in the entire area. Always able to rely on Leonard and his team. Whenever Ive called them for my properties, they have always responded in a timely fashion. Im loyal to them because they prove themselves to be the best appliance repair company in the area every time.
Weve used QAS twice in the last few months to fix our washer and dryer. The technicians were very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They quickly diagnosed the problem, explained what needed to be done, and fixed our appliances. They are very reasonably priced and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I has my first appointment cancelled due to an employee calling in sick. I finally got my next appt and the employees were quite intimidating, and were not able to resolve my issue. When I tried to get another opinion from the company, the customer service rep demanded I provide them a video in order to come address the issue and cancelled coming out at yhe scheduled time. This company is unfortunatelty unprofessional and not customer friendly.
Wonderful communication and customer service! Ester was great to assist me with my appointment. Technician Max was prompt and professional. I will definitely use this local business for future appliance needs!
Update: Another tech from a competent company came out and found that one of the gas connections that QAs technician installed was only hand tight and spewing out gas. If you value you & your familys life, call someone else. The absolute worst. Avoid the place if at all possible unless you like dealing with rude people that treat you horribly. Bought a new GE Cafe range that had a strong gas order when the lower oven was in use. Technician came out twice to try and fix, problem persisted. Its now 7 weeks after the initial purchase. He ordered some new parts and came out again to replace them. A few hours later, we brought our new baby home from the hospital to an entire house that wreaked of gas. I determined there was gas leak and shut off the gas valve. The next day, called and made an appointment for him to come back out that evening to fix it. Gas leak. Emergency. Within 15 mins of making the appointment the tech called me back to say he refused to come out until I called the gas company to verify the leak AND called GE to file a new claim. After asking us to evacuate the house - remember, new baby - the gas company came out and found a gas leak from the part that tech just installed. They red flagged it. Called GE back, filed a new claim. Called Quality Appliance back to schedule appt and now they refused to come back out for another week. After pleading with them to come out sooner - hello gas leak, their fault - and being met with firm refusals I hung up on them. They called back immediately to so kindly (sarcasm) tell me they canceled my work order and to find a new service co. I seriously think they were just trying to get the last word in.
Ive used these guys several times and been pretty satisfied but the last time left me pretty pissed. Diagnosed an appliance which I wasnt sure I wanted to fix. 5 days later I called them to say to bill me for the diagnosis only...not fixing. 4 days after that I received an invoice while out of town. 13 days later I got a call telling me they would send my account to collections if no payment was received withing 2 weeks. I had already issued a bank payment but those take longer to arrive.Im as interested in customer service and how Im treated as I am in the end results of the work. If a company treats me well it makes up for almost anything. Conversely if Im treated disrespectfully not much can make up for that. To call a repeat customer who has always paid and threaten to send them to collections 13 days after you sent an invoice is very disrespectful. The argument I got from them when I called was just as bad.Ill find someone who treats me better in the future.
Really really poor experience with Qualitys office staff (although the Technician, Markus B., was great). They were sub-contracted by Samsung to come out and fix our new refrigerator which was leaking. After the repair, I got an invoice in the mail and a phone call. Brittney explained they had not collected the information they needed and asked if I would call Samsung to get the ticket #. I agreed to assist and called Samsung. They informed me they had no record with me and that the repair company should call them. I called and told Brittney what Samsung had said. She asked if I would call back and pretend to be a new customer, hoping that they would provide a new ticket #. I told her I was uncomfortable with the lie. She told me if I did not do so that I would be liable for the payment. I told her I doubted it because I had no agreement with her. I didnt even have an implied agreement because I never called them, Samsung did. I told her I was sorry that this was happening but it wasnt my fault that they didnt get what the needed from Samsung before doing the work. Giving up on working with Brittney, I hung up and called the company who sold us the appliances and they stated that Quality should not be doing that and they would take care of it.After more invoices came, I finally included all parties in a email thread to try and get it resolved. The company who sold us the appliances agreed to pay the bill so Quality would stop contacting me. I highly recommend you do what you can to have someone else fix your appliances before working with Quality Appliance Service.
I did find them professional. They were not rude or belligerent. However, their pricing is consistently 25-30% higher than other companies, all-in. Prices quoted for parts were 500-600% higher than open market and 50-100% higher than competitors. When I called to give them an opportunity to be competitive they suggested I go with a cheaper option. My experience was not pleasant. Id advise anyone that professionalism can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the cost. It cost me $69 to find out theyre really expensive.
It was 90 degrees INSIDE my house in July because our AC was NOT working- awful! Quality sent a knowledgable and courteous tech over to fix it the same day I called. He was kind enough to even move his truck when my roommate had to leave and had another tech bring some special cleaning agent by so he could get the entire job done in an efficient and thorough manner. He even gave me some tips on how to prevent another call in the future; so impressed! I will certainly be calling Quality next time I have a major repair in my home. Thank you!
The wonderful experience I had with Quality started with the person who answered the phone. She was so nice and helpful, it made me already like the company! The tech that came out was AMAZING! I know so much about my stove now! I moved into this house with the Viking already in there and did not know anything about it. Now I do!!! I will use them for all of my appliances, this company knows that theyre doing!
There are many good appliance repair businesses in Utah. In our experience this is not one of them. Better check this companys F grade with the Better Business Bureau before proceeding. If you call Quality for a stove repair, you may wait more than five hours for the tech to show up and still find yourself cooking over a campfire.
For the record, I would give them NO stars. I have never had a worse customer service experience in my life. I had to use this company for a warranty repair. They are rude and extremely dishonest. Also be prepared for them to make you sign a document for zero liabilty if they damage your appliance or personal property during the repair.
Quality Appliance is so honest. My dishwasher was not owrth fixing and instead of having me spend money on it, the recommended I just buy a new one. It is so nice to have a company to rely on now!
Fast, responsive, great pricing. Adam really knows his stuff and was a pleasure to meet. He quickly and decisively diagnosed the problems of both appliances... and made time to repair then and there without the need for a second appointment.Highly recommend. Gave a 4 rather than a 5 because I think the company should equip the service techs with better POS to get a 5.
These guys did a fantastic job of taking care of me. I had an oven heating element burn out at 6:50 pm the night before thanksgiving and called them as they were closing and not only did they have the part that I needed but stayed open 35 min late because I live 35 minutes from their shop. Awesome job and saved our Turkey day!!!!
Sam came out and was professional and friendly. He fixed both our fridge and dishwasher. I had some concerns a few days later about the new sounds the fridge was making. He came back addressed those concerns and even fixed our fridge light for no charge. I’d definitely call them again. I felt their prices were fair as well. Good company.
They came out and reassessed my washers. I had two of them not working. The first company had sent out a teenager who didnt know what he was doing and so I called Quality to get a second opinion. The tech was fast, knowledgeable, and helpful. He confirmed that the teenager had tried to fix the wrong thing with my washer. It was electrical and he pulled out the washer to check it. I will now use this company. The phone service people were helpful as well. I recommend it.
Asked these guys to fix my ice maker as there was a small leak causing it to freeze the entire compartment. They fixed it by causing it to leak into the fridge itself. When we called they said it would take a four days to come and fix the water pouring into my fridge and my husband said that would not work. So they should up the next day. Fast forward two weeks and its freezing over again. When we called they told us it would take another week for them to get out here and we would have to pay more if its a different problem. If you replaced the whole ice maker, how could it be a different problem??? Either fix it or give me my money back!
Im a property manager and work with Quality Appliance regularly. They are responsive, knowledgeable and prices are always fair. The treat are tenants with great respect and are truly a pleasure to work with. I recommend them for any appliance repair needs.
Friendly customer service. The repair guy was knowledgeable and on time. He had to come out twice because we couldnt get the trouble code the first time, but they only charged for 1 service visit. They didnt try to sell me parts that I didnt need. Top rate!
Been working with Quality appliance on some appliance issues when it rains it pours and there technician Josh is awesome great guy and great teck, Prices were fair and I I think there a good honest fair company. Thanks for making the rain stop and fixing my appliances. Thank You Curt
We had a problem with our upright freezer. They were able to squeeze us in the afternoon of our call to diagnose the problem and returned early the next morning after we defrosted the freezer to repair the defrost thermostat.Could you do the repair less expensively for yourself? Sure, I diagnosed and repaired a board in our refrigerator with some YouTube videos & general know-how for a quarter of the cost BUT for 4 hours of my time.Their price for the part and repair was reasonable and fully disclosed up front. The dispatcher made clear at the time of booking that the initial service/diagnostic fee of $65 would be included in the ultimate service should we choose to proceed, the technician was prompt and courteous, and they communicated well with us.I would use them again.
Wow, I am way impressed with this company. Most companies are not honest andfair. This company is! I will totally use them again! Super impressed, telling all my friends about this company!
Quite thrilled with the fixes. Every little thing is without a doubt in running order presently.
If youve ever had to hire a repairman around the holidays to fix literally Anything, you know how hard it is to get on their schedule, and then not get over-charged just because its the holiday season. Quality stands out to me because they are very prompt and friendly about getting things done. I am very happy with my experience with them.
I was happy with their repair service. They fixed a washing machine for me... they were friendly and great to work with. I had no problems scheduling a repair with them.
Worst costumer service I have seen. Very unprofessional and unorganized. I bought a brand new washing machine through RC Willey and two months later my washer had problems and wouldnt stop going through the rinse cycle. I called to have a repair guy come out since it is still under warranty and they told me it would take within two days to hear from someone from quality appliance. Well I didnt hear from them for a week. Once I heard from them they told me it would be a week before they could get someone out to look at it. Two weeks have gone by without a washer at this point. Once they come out they say they need to order a part which should take 3-5 days. Over a week goes by and they still havent called. I call them and they say it will be a week until they can have a technician come out with the new part. He comes a week later and puts it in and my washing machine still isnt fixed and has the same problem. At this point it has been two months without a working brand new washing machine. I had a appointment scheduled for them to come yesterday but due to their mistake of using the wrong address they said they cant send anyone out that day and needed to reschedule. I rescheduled for today and after two hours of waiting for him I called and they said he wasnt scheduled to come out until late today when that wasnt when we set the time. They told me it was because 1. They dont come out to this area in the morning and 2. The new girl made the mistake to schedule it at that time. Needless to say they wont be coming to our house because we refuse to use their services.
Steer clear of this appliance service repair shop. There are more customer oriented, higher qualified repair shops in the state of Utah! Brand new dishwasher went out after two weeks and contacted this company for repair. First repairman didnt have a clue what was wrong, so they sent out another repairman WEEK LATER who said that a new part that was not available anywhere in the Salt Lake Valley and the part had to be shipped from the manufacturer. Customer offered to help search for the new part and Quality Appliance would not provide the part number to customer - seems strange. Waiting, waiting, waiting still no part and over a month without my brand new dishwasher.
I had another company come and check out my stove and told me it would be $1000 to fix. Sam from Quality came and found out it was just the breaker that was blown - $65. I could not believe that is all it was. I am so impressed that this company is so honest and knowledgeable. I will be back for sure.
For some odd reason my microwave was really blowing cold air every time i used it, kind of like a really good fan, it was weird and scary. Quality came out and was honest with us and said it would cost more to fix the microwave than it would to replace it. Its nice to know that they just didnt fix it which was not in our best interest, way to go Quality.
They didnt fix my washing machine and the guy told me they would issue a refund. He said I would need to get a new one. So I ordered a new one from bestbuy and 3 days later they took the old one and I installed the new one.The day after having the new one installed Quality tried to call me but I missed the call. The following week on a Tuesday they called again and told me they had an appointment to come look at my old one a final time before issuing a refund. I knew nothing of this appointment.I said that I already had a new one installed. They then told me that they wouldnt issue a refund without being able to take the old one. I said that they should have told me that prior to my new one being installed. She said she tried multiple times to call me but she only called the day after my new one was installed and then again the following week. After arguing with the manager there over the phone they refused to issue the refund.Very poor communications about their refund policy and the serviceman never mentioned that important little fact either.I do not recommend this business.
I am truly ecstatic with the final results. Well get in touch with them in the future if our other appliances ceases operation
Ive used Quality Appliance Repair on numerous occasions. Ive found them to be experienced, thorough, fair, and timely in all appliance repairs weve done throughout the last 21 years with them. As a real estate broker, I frequently have clients who ask my recommendation for an appliance repair service, and I always refer them to Quality Appliance Repair.
The tech that came out was really nice and knew what he was doing. My refrigerator was fixed the same day and I really appreciate all that they do. Thank you Quality Appliance!
HORRIBLE dispatch and customer service! I have been waiting to get my oven fixed for 3 weeks, which is ridiculous. The technician has come out twice and told me that they need to order parts and will expedite them. Then... nothing. I finally call in to check on the part status and find out it was conveniently delivered the day before I called. Then they schedule me out a week to install the parts, claiming they need a 5 hour window for installation when the technician is only there for an hour. I have asked to speak with the service manager hoping to get things resolved more quickly and the dispatcher refuses to let me speak with anyone else. I have never had such horrible service. They are condescending and downright rude. I will tell everyone I know to never use this company.
Terrible customer service. An authorized service provider for Samsung products and I was told by Samsung they would reach out within 48 business hours to confirm the date of service. Turns out, when I called them more than 48 hours later, they hadnt even ordered the part yet, stated that it would take 3-5 more days just to order the part, and they still would have to schedule the service from there.
Go with appliance EMT at all costs over these guys. I called with a simple question about how much it was to repair our dryer. Quality appliance worked on our dryer a couple times under warranty so when it broke and was out of warranty I thought I would call them to see how much a repair would cost. They claimed they couldnt give out that info since it was fixed under warranty so I asked how much it was for a heating element replacement. The woman said they would have to come out and look at it first for $80 and then give me a quote. Frustrated with this BS answer I called appliance EMT and asked him the exact same question. Within a minute he quoted me the cost for repair, gave me more info the issue than QA ever did and let me know when he could come fix it if I wanted it done.
The kitchen appliance repair job was pretty no problem with a professional to resolve it
We have had Quality Appliance out to our house 5 times at the mercy of RC Willey warranty service. Steve was a great repairmen. But I have nothing nice to say about head dispatcher Grace (she is also the owners sister). She called Steve and told him that he needed to get to his other call and that we needed to decide if we want to leave our refrigerator unplugged all night or we better start holding a hair dryer, we could hear her through the phone and those were her exact words. I feel that submitting a complaint with Quality is useless. I do not feel that because she is the owners sister that she doesnt need customer service skills.
Quality Appliance my a$$! I was over charged for a small part, the time it took to fix and overall the guy had a crappy attitude (like he was doing me a favor) I will not be using them again! Customer service is so simple, be fair, be nice, be punctual. They FAILED in two out of three.
