Weve had a Sunday subscription for the paper for the last two years, unfortunately with the outrageous price increase we decided to stop our subscription. That is, we would, if we could actually get a hold of anyone. They dont answer the correct line that they list to call, and if we are able to leave a message they wont contact you back, and the service email they list does not work. All the layoffs and changes have completely ruined this newspaper and left a bad taste in subscribers mouths.

Applied for a job here, was pretty cool, big huge building, good parking, fun building to look at. Didnt get the job, had the wrong approach, but what can ya do 10/10 would apply again probably I guess. I mean not at this point cause i have a job and its working pretty well, but in terms of job interviews. Not bad!

I couldnt get a person to come to the door here after the ring in the doorbell moldable times. Certainly doesnt seem to be a very efficient system and also if you put up a phone number you would expect at someone would actually answer that number if the number was called. Extremely disappointed in your system and customer service.

I visit the back lot often to drop off boxes of inserts for clients for the Sunday paper (the first time I became lost and the woman at the front desk was very sweet and understanding) and Ive always had a pleasant experience with this company, the people in back are always willing to help a lady lift large boxes. I find the front parking lot to be spacious and very nice.I was going to do 4 stars until I saw all the negitive feedback (many complaints seem silly, folks) and was so annoyed that I gave them 5. I also feel its worth pointing out that EVERY review has received a personal response. How many businesses can you think of that would bother?5 WELL EARNED STARS.

1 Star was my first rating, when an employee refused my request to cancel. After posting my rating, I was contacted my a manager who promised to reverse the decision (in 16 days.) I promised to raise the rating, trusting that she will keep her promise.

Like most people have said, customer service and delivery is pathetic. People in charge retaliate against customers who complain. For example, some papers came wet and we requested a replacement..and now EVERY paper, even with dry weather, is put in 2 bags! What a waste of time and resources. I picked up neighbors paper a few times and it is not wrapped at all! One is to conclude that this is their way of retaliating. Its called passive aggressiveness. One gets a bad feeling whenever a effort is made to communicate with anyone. of authority. They do not want to be bothered! They only want your money while expending minimal effort.

Caveat Emptor! Buyer Beware!If you prepay for a term of service, be aware that they WILL KEEP DELIVERING AFTER YOUR SERVICE EXPIRES, EVEN THOUGH YOU DID NOT SIGN UP FOR AUTO-RENEW. They will then send your bill to collections. No other media type does this--I was told by an employee that it is like your power bill--they just cant bear to see you go without your paper.An ethical company would not keep sending you things that you did not sign up for. They hide that they plan on doing this in the fine print so they can GOTCHA. They DO NOT MAKE CLEAR when signing up online that they will autorenew regardless of your signup settings, sending you stuff that you didnt want.Sleazy, is the only way to describe it. It is unsurprising that newspapers are dying.

Your newspaper has gone from a newspaper that covers a lot of topics and has interests for all, a nice size paper, to one that is about 6 pages total covering very little but has seemed so important on keeping another failing paper in business that you have continued to increase the cost of the paper at the same time decreasing the pages and coverage on all subjects at the same time. When we started getting your paper 20 years ago the paper was thick and had several sections to it, now there is usually one section of about 6 to 8 pages to cover every thing. You have turned into a huge disappointment. We will no long continue to subscribe to your paper.

If I can give a negative review I would. I have to call to get the paper every week. And I only get it on Sunday. Today (10/22/17) I had to call 3 times and still have not got the paper. I asked for the managers name and work number and was told that they could not give it to me. I am sorry but there personal info I understand I was asking for there work info and that I have a right to know especially if I am not happy.

Order a years subscription and get 9 months because they dont tell you about these special glossy add-ons they charge for. But wait! I was smart this time and opted out of them the day I ordered my new subscription. Not good enough. They still charged me, regardless. Even after I call, wait on hold, and explain and am told everything will be fixed, the problem remains. Why make it so ugly to do business with you?Oh — and TRY to find the hours of the circulation department. Closed at 3:30 on a Thursday? Not even the main numbers operator could figure it out.UPDATE: I spoke with a VP who admitted there were two errors made on my account. He fixed them and will watch to make sure everything is how it should be. Ive raised up to 3 stars in the meantime and will review again later.

I should not have to jump through hoops to keep your company from littering on my property.Their online Unsubscribe tool did not send the verification email to three different email addresses, it did not show up in Spam or Junk email folders.I called them, the Customer Service Agent was incredibly rude, and told me I have to do it online despite telling her that it was not working. She all but shrugged her shoulders, and said there was nothing she could do.After filing a BBB Review, Emailing the CEO, the SLC Tribune, and their Advertisers, they have FINALLY agreed to stop throwing ad circulars on my property, but, itll take two weeks for them to stop.We will see if this works, if not? Ill be filing a complaint for littering with Sandy City.

When we signed up for the paper we specifically asked if there were EVER going to be extra charges. The 2 people told us no. There was never going to be anything extra. It will be the same every month. Nothing more nothing less. Well low and behold we look at our bank statement and what do we see. A higher amount then what was told. So we call and ask why. We get rude people on the phone and somebody who is not willing to help fix the problem. The paper put in extra ads so we have to pay for that. We didnt ask for any of that extra stuff therefore we shouldnt be required to pay for that. You should train your people better!!!! You shouldnt be trapping people into getting the paper!!!!! People should know what the are signing up for. So the outcome of this, we have cancelled our subscription!!!!!

Customer services is utterly disappointing. Had a missed call from them. Initially was not sure who they were so I called and the lady who took my call was very rude and asking for my personal information before she identified who she was and why they were calling me. She even hung up on me. Words of advice from a successful business owner THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT and to hang up on a customer and have your staff talk rudely to your customers should actually be embarrassing for you. I will make sure to tell all my friends, neighbors, etc to not use your company because of how I was treated today.

Great experience as a carrier! Needed a temporary job till I got on my feet, and they started paying me the full pay for my route as I was training. Eventually I took on the whole route and took on 2 more after that for about $1000 every paycheck.Thanks Media Group

I have worked with Utah Media Group (UMG) for about a year now and I can tell you that they are the single best advertising group I have ever worked with.I manage the advertising for a home health and hospice. I give so many jobs to UMG that it starts to worry me, but they do just such an incredible job that I can’t stop! They do my videos, SEO, banner ads, and web development. They are so professional and amazing at what they do.I’d like to give a shout out to my people over there: Patrick, one of the best advertising coordinators out there; Ben, the king of banner ads; Stacey, a wonderful manager. I am so disappointed with the agency, like two months ago i stopped receiving my newspaper ( after paying for it, of course), called the customer service several times until one of the ladies told me the problem was they didnt have a carrier to deliver it to my address, that was a problem they were having.... nobody wanted to take the route... so they gave me credit for all the days I did not receive the paper and told me i will be receiving the paper as soon as they have someone to deliver it..... time passed on, and I never received the newspaper again, the last time I spoke with them I told them I do not want the paper anymore.... Then now, I receive a PAST DUE bill!!! pretty funny.... I called and the answer was if i called them every day I did not receive the paper.... Is this a joke??? Now, they say I owe them money for a service I never received because they dd not have a carrier to bring the paper to me!!! They did not give me a response....telling me they were taking the case to the manager to see if he/she will give me credit back... but.... they do not know when will I have the answer.... asked 10 times and then... told me in a week they will call me with a response.... really?????

The quality of this paper declined for the last couple of years. After they doubled the subscription fee, even Robert Kerby did not make it worth the money. We decided not to renew.They kept delivering the paper for 2-3 months, what other service provider continues to deliver after failure of payment!Media One sent our unpaid balance (was that really my fault??!!) to collections!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!REALLY?!

I live in Manti (central Utah) and work with the elderly. Men in their 70s and 80s are NOT going to use an ipad like a teenage girl! They need the paper edition!Utah Media Group wants to go digital but ironically you CAN NOT contact them via their website or email.

Terrible customer service. They refused to let me speak with a supervisor. I have had nothing but problems with deliveries for the last 3 months and havent received a paper for the last 2 days. When I call to report the problems they say it will be delivered in an hour and when its not I call back and theyre closed. I have been told several times that a district manager will call me back and havent been contacted. I can understand if theyre short on delivery people, that the delivery could be delayed. However, its completely unacceptable to not be delivered at all.

Unfortunately there is not a negative five stars for the terrible incompetent service from Media One!On Sept 8, 2017, I cancelled my mother-in-laws subscription to the Tribune with Letitia and requested a refund of $116.07 for overpayment. Letitia said she would send the check that week. I confirmed my address to make certain the check arrived in a timely manner. On Oct 3, Mollie said Letitia never submitted the order for a refund and apologized for Letitias incompetence since she was new and obviously untrained. Mollie promised to send the refund check this week. On October 11, Mollie, who confirmed the address given to Letitia on Sept 8, said that maybe the check was sent to the wrong address.Really,?? After two people are given the same address then sent it to the wrong one??Mollie said the people who mailed it werent at the office that day, but she would follow up. Its now October 18, 2017, and still no refund.Initially, the refund was to help pay for nursing home costs. Now we are hoping to defray the funeral costs. Media One was notified of the urgency for this paltry refund and did nothing to expedite the refund .Newspaper subscription costs have skyrocketed with a deplorable reduction in customer service. The management should be ashamed of the people who so poorly represent Media One.

So in a day when you can order something from across the county and get it the next day we have a company that feels like treating its customer so poorly. I live in New Hampshire and every time I come to visit my elderly parents there is one constant complaint. The paper that they pay for isnt delivered daily. In fact in the short three days I have been in Logan we have only received the paper once. So of course the calls are made and do you know what happend not one thing. They made it clear that missing a day here and there is normal. Of corse I agree missing a day here and there would be, for weather related, today was a bright sunny day the road are clear, so why and the answer is? They could care less about customer service. How hard is it to make a call to the carier and ask why they arent doing their job. This has been ongoing for the past year and a half. But I guess costumer satisfaction even for an 86 year old couple is low down on their check list. So thank you for the outstanding job of doing nothing to fix what should be a very small problem.

Working with them everyday they make work unbearable. I still am employed with them but not for long. They go out of their way to make delivering the papers harder, giving us the wrong house number or wrong directions. Today they forgot to pay me and now wont answer there phones. Assuming its because I called out the manager Janet because she kepted making fun of me and my husband. Idk if its a jealous thing but them starting rumors about me and gossiping around the whole warehouse because we got a complaint that wasnt even on our route. Something needs to change starting with new management

A big scam! They auto renewed my subscription without my approval or a notice and after several months they sent me a past due bill. I called the customer service to discuss the problem but they threatened me to send my bill to a collection agent if I do not pay the bill immediately.

Treated horribly by customer service department. Called to complain about paper not being delivered to my father for over a month only to be told Im lying. Worst customer service ever. The delivery person claims they delivered the paper every Sunday, but there was nothing delivered. I told them I think my parents deserve a refund because they paid for the paper and never received it, but since they think were lying I can guarantee there will be no refund.

Did not get my paper today & because I called in at 9:00 it was too late for a supervisor to bring me out the paper. Thats not acceptable. This is not the first time Ive had issues & for the customer service rep to say because I called in late they will not redeliver. They would not give my the VP of circulations email so I could write him. The paper has become a sorry excuse for news & Im thinking after 30 years of cancelling my subscription.

Poor service. I had an issue before with them cancelling my paper before it was supposed to be cancelled. I was treated horribly by their customer service department. I foolishly subscribed again and now I have need for customer service and have been on hold now for 20 minutes. I wish there was another media group to get newspapers from in the area.

DO NOT GO WORK HERE!!! Getting paid for your hard work is more of a hassle than actually doing the work! I had to wait weeks to get paid and I am still missing a day from my check which now they have no record of. This is a scumbag company!
