I used to come here years ago and moved away and was so happy to see them still here! I’ve never had a bad experience and absolutely love Will! He has amazing attention to detail and does fantastic pedicures. He’s also quiet which I prefer because I like to zone out when I come in. I recommend asking for him.

I do not usually leave reviews, but this service was so terrible that I felt like I should share my experience so others know.I walked in today with a gel manicure with acrylic tips. I asked if they could take them off. The woman was so rough :/ had no remorse for my nails or hands. She began cutting the acrylic nails down without looking to see where my real nails reached and without asking me if that length was okay... I then had to shorten the length of my nails because she had already cut them half way down.Instead of soaking them off (to where they will come off gently and easily - this is how I usually have then done), she then tried to pop them off by sticking another nail underneath.. I told her that it was hurting after the second nail. She proceeded anyway. The third nail ripped halfway off she popped the acrylic nail off yet again. In the photos, this is the nail slightly bleeding. I gasped, because it hurt and I was also shocked that she was being so careless. I was baffled, started to walk out but as I was getting up out of the chair, the nail tech next to us suggested she soak them off.I agreed and sat back down. My nail tech finished the rest of my nails by soaking which was ideal.Bottom line the service was terrible. The nail tech either did not know what she was doing, or was just careless in her execution which really really sucks given that today is Christmas Eve and obviously most people want to dress up and look nice for the holidays. I instead have a band-aid around my scarred finger and cannot finish the sewing job (I work with my hands :)) that I was set to finish today, because it still hurts. Pics attached.

This place has great employees and very clean. My friend and I both got gel dip nails which was a great process. The waxing was not painful and everything was very safe feeling.

The person I got was very rush, rush, like she had somewhere to be! Very sloppy, messy, I left with dark powder on my fingers which when I asked her to clean it off she blamed it on the powder! Still had red on my skin from her removing previous color, didn’t clean it off. No lotion provided afterwards! This was my second visit to this place which again I left unhappy! Been doing Nexgen for years, this place has lost my business. Do not recommend!

Ive been going to City Nail every 2 weeks for almost 11 years now. My nail guy Travis is the best nail tech I ever had. Im a perfectionist so my gel manicure and pedicure has to be perfect! I always have the best time when Im there, they have the most friendly staff. Johnny the owner is the best, always making sure his customers feel welcome and happy. My 2 daughters and my husband also goes there and they love it. I definitely recommend City Nail.

I’ve been going to City Nails for about 12 years. That alone should be a testament to the kindness and quality of work. Many of the techs are Vietnamese, but I never have problems understanding them. I think people generally don’t listen to hear them. They have many color choices and their salon is clean and tidy and the techs present themselves professionally. I would say over half of the techs have been there since I started going so that consistency and longevity is rare. I get manicure and pedicure services and they are very speedy, which I like as I am always a walk-in and go every 2/3 weeks. The pricing is competitive and fair. They treat you nicely and remember your name as a regular customer. They are busy on weekends but staff enough to get people in and out quickly. I highly recommend City Nails. 💅🏻

I went yesterday for a manicure and a pedicure. The nail technician took about 15 minutes on the pedicure. Fast and wrong. There were fibers under the nail polish. I asked that she remove the fibers. She did; or, she tried to. There were still fibers left. She didnt understand my requests, so. I gave up. Later she determined I should get Nexgen and it didnt matter that I did not want it because she had made up her mind 😣 I was getting AND paying for a gel manicure because its what she said. (yes, sounds ridiculously). I had to get confrontational to get the service I went for. It was distasteful. 🤔

Not clean AT ALL. They reuse all of their tools and they are rusty and don’t look clean. will not be coming back

Disappointed. They advertise open till 8pm, I get there at 7:02 for a simple pedicure and I am denied service with three people avaiable. I wouldnt treat them like slaves, I respect them a lot. However, working mom here...cant get to the place early enough but they did not care to turn me away. How long would a simple pedicure take?

My score is 0 not 1 Star!I went for the first time yesterday and left asap! Some rude young pedicurist greeted me in her own language and with a major attitude from the beginning! No English just pointing where she wanted me and everything was fast. She did everything wrong from no communication with me at all and speaking Vietnamese the entire time, No bath oils or anything in the water for my feet then, no scrub lotion was applied for the foot scrubber just raw scrubbing and thats when I said Im not in a hurry here so slow down and please add lotion to scrub and she gave me a dirty look so I was over it by then. I got up and told all of them Ive had it with this girl and her attitude so I offered to pay for my little time there but they ask me to please stay but I was too angry. I couldnt get out of there fast enough!I would never ever recommend anyone to go there. Absolutely horrible!I went straight to Angel Nails off Royal Palm Beach Blvd! It was my first time there also and I will go there again!Ask for Vivian for your nails and Dumm for an incredible hot stone pedicure!

I went to this place on a whim as my usual nail salon had been subpar as of late. As soon as I got there I noticed the shop was clean and tidy. I waited maybe 5 minutes (not bad as a walk in) before someone started my pedicure. It was done very well. Then I had Tina (on the right) do my gel manicure. That too was done extremely well and without it taking a long time. The price was good too. I had a French pedicure and Gel manicure that came to around 62$. I will be back again soon.

This place doesnt even deserve a rating. Ive been going here for a while, and before the customer service was good. The store manager would always communicate with the customers and brought in a good vibe. The customer service now, sucks. I told myself last year I wasnt going to come back here. I was in the area and I decided to give them another shot. Epic FAIL. My nails look horrible !!! The lady literally rushed through my nails like if it was so busy in there. All they do is be on their phones and talk to each other. For the money that Im paying, I expect good service and for them to do a good job on my nails! I walked out of there Monday night highly angry at the fact that the lady called me crazy because I was telling her I didnt like the way she did them. So I asked her thats what you call your customers when they tell you how they fell about their nails. And she answered with yes. I asked for the manager or the store manager and she wants to say that shes the manager and that there isnt any. So which one is it ?!?!? I shouldnt even had pay for the service of how crappy she did and shes lucky I didnt slap her across the face from what she said to me. I do not recommend this place. VERY disrespectful and rude employees! They suck ass!

I wanted to like this one because it is so close to home. I tried it years ago and stopped, because of inconsistency. Decided to try again as my regular tech was booked and man what a mistake! I sat with Selena, nails were pretty, shaped perfectly but too thin( Dip Powder). Within 2 days both thumb nails had cracked down the middle and broke on the sides. Went in for repair and tech(same person who did original set) states it was my fault! Sat for a fill and repair and the results are on the pictures attached. Will not return again!!

I went in last night for the first time and didn’t realize it was so close to closing time. They still took me in and my tech worked quickly and efficiently. I do the the nextgen powder and she was very meticulous. They were also in the process of cleaning up, pedi bowls were being disinfected, counter tops, nail tools, etc. I would definitely go again!

Please dont confuse this City Nail with the one in WPB. I have been going to this Royal Palm Beach salon since they opened and have always received great service. The staff is very friendly and the manager, John, knows the name of most regular customers. If you have a problem bring it to his or Tinas attention and they will try their best to remedy it. I have been to nail salons in other states and none has surpassed City Nails of Royal Palm Beach.

Went in and was seated for a dip nail set pretty quick. Picked a color in which the technician stated that was not really the color then stated I should do pink when I asked for Jude/natural. My nails were completed with levels of unevenness. The middle finger on my left hand had a dip in the middle that the nail salon stated “they did not see” (it was VERY noticeable). I have been getting dips for a few years now and NEVER have I had to sit under the dryer. This was automatically incorrect. Even after complaining to the technician and not getting anywhere I was charged $35. The fact that they acted like they did not see the different lengths and errors that were made with my nails is very unprofessional and disapproving. I had to go to another salon to get my nails fixed which NEVER should happen.

**I have stopped using this salon. It is alright in a pinch, but technicians barely speak English. Do not understand instructions or chose to ignore them. They will do what they feel is correct. Very superficial manicures and pedicures for full price. They no longer offer a polish change ...will do, but you are charged for a full manicure. They are very busy and you will wait even if you think you have made an appointment.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. The woman who claimed she was the owner (goes by the name Victoria) refused to fix my pedicure which her tech rushed and completed a pedicure in 15 minutes. She mistaked me for someone else and grabbed my arm before I left the salon trying to grab my phone out of my hands assuming I was trying to take a picture of her but in reality I was sending a text message. I ended painting my own nails from the pedicure. I didnt appreciate the owner touching me when I never even touched her all I asked was for her to fix my rushed pedicure. I had no problem paying and regardless was going to pay her but the owner of this salon treats customers horrible. Im pretty sure the salon has some health violations going on as well. Owners before were much better than the woman who claims to be the owner of this salon for 15 years.

The WORST place possible to get your nails done. Went in to get a fill and pedicure, pedicure was alright but my acrylics could have been done better by a 10 year old. She completely rushed through the whole thing just to sit there after on her phone. Not to mention everyone there was EXTREMELY RUDE. My nails look like crap. If i could id give them a negative rating. Not to mention how FILTHY the entire business is.

While the pedicure and shellac manicure I received was ok, the same could not be said for the $11 I spent having my 7yr olds nails painted. 2 hours after they were done, she stepped out of the shower, with her nail polish completely washed off. The salon basically said, too bad, the polish takes long to dry. TWO. HOURS.

I personally do not like to leave negative reviews. However, this occasion calls for a honest and thorough review. I decided to go to new salon . Had a pedicure that was in my opinion mediocre . My nail tech gave me my stub and I handed her my card. She looked upset by my form of payment .She leaves and comes back and says You have no money, not working . I replied back to her, no there are funds, can you retry the transaction. She then tries to help me out of my chair . I kindly advise her not to touch me, and I will follow her to the front to redo my transaction. Before we could retry the transaction I had to repeat myself twice meanwhile she was telling me there was a bank. The receipt clearly said Chip ErrorSidenote: On my way to the register she takes my card out my hand without my permission. After I clearly told her not to touch me.I watch her run my transaction again. The machine ask for my PIN. I ask her is she needs my pin because its clearly says PIN* She says something in her native language andWAH-LA !!!!!My transaction magically goes through. I sign for my transaction and did not receive any condolences for her confusion or my public embarrassment . Then an associate nail tech doing my friends nails is talking to her about my situation saying you know its a second language -_- ...1. It is not the customers obligation to ensure that employees can fully read and understand English.2. Customer Service should always come first. Travis the owner of the shop was there and did not apologize for inconvenience or the behavior of his nail tech. This nail salon is not professional what so ever, and will never receive funds from me or my friends ever again!This vast and long review could have been avoided with a simple Im sorry .Being a strong advocate of customer service myself in my line of work, I do not find this acceptable . If you want fancy nails, not the place. I always get my gel nails done without waiting and everyone is friendly.

They do not deserve a star. The only reason why I went there was because the original nail place that I go to was closed on that Monday and I had a flight that day, so I went to get my nails done there since it was on my route. I truly hate going to different nail salons, I must say they do not have any professionalism what so ever. They do not receive instructions well, and when you tell them to fix it they catch an attitude and speak Vietnamese. Its obvious they never have anything good to say about their customers since they cant say it in English. The lady that did my nails had a problem when I told her I did not want my nails to be oval, I came in with coffin nails. And left with rectangle nails. She had no idea what coffin nails where. She was upset when I told her I do not like my nails and its needs to be reshaped and that she adds too much nail polish making my nails look like a ballon. She somewhat fixed it, and I told her she can just add the top coat so I can go cause she didnt know what she was doing, so I had to guide her. She took FOREVER to do my nails and they are expensive for no reason. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STEP FOOT IN THERE! They are too rude and disrespectful, if you dont like doing nails than simply dont. If we could do it on our own, we would instead of going to a nail tech.

This place is disgusting and unsanitary! Im suprise they are still in business! They are very rude in there, not only that but they dont do nails good at all! I told the lady I wanted a pedicure and to keep the shape of my nails square. When she was done all I could do was shake my head! I also got a nexgen full set and in less than 3 days they were lifting. I called and the manager told me that the lady who did my nails had to take care of me and that she was not there, he then told me that since its been 3 days I would have to pay for repairs even though they didnt apply the product currently! When I told him that I was going to dispute the whole charge he told me to do what I have to do and hung up the phone in my ears! Horrible people! I wish there was a way to give negative stars

This place needs to work on hygne! No covers for pedicure bowls...asked her to clean it and she rised it with water... No cleaning product! The orange finger tips used to remove Nexgen had old USED cotton balls inside and she still placed it on my finger. On top of all of this my nails came out ugly. Decided to try something new... Ill just stick to what I know!!!!

This place does not deserve a rating !! Went there yesterday, and had 3 services done . My mani and pedi were so rushed, no massage, I still have cuticles that could be taken care of . I got my eyebrows done and should of never done that ! She practically took my whole eyebrow off ! When she gave me the mirror to look at her “work”, I asked her “ Are you kidding me, you took my whole brow off !” She then claims it was my fault and I didn’t have much to work with anyways . The gentleman who took care of me initionally made me pay before all my services were even done and I complained no one stepped up being the manager to get a refund or anything . I wasted $72 there and will never go back!
