Why does no one answer the phone? Or respond via website. I had to call and leave multiple messages, took over a week to get someone on the line.Edit (response): I am aware of the call center times, they are available right here on google, what I’m saying is that I called multiple times to set up an account, I left multiple VOICE messages and no one ever called me back. This was a few months ago I’m just stating my experience.

This is the only internet the apartments support and their prices reflect that. The technician came and told me I wasn’t able to edit the wifi name or password. However my neighbors clearly have customized names and possibly passwords. I was also told the internet speed would not be as fast as advertised. Further, my iPhone is saying this internet connection had a weak security. I never seen that before.

Awesome customer service! Contacted me while I was at the gym and the technician was really flexible with arranging a later time. Came soon after I let him know I was on my way home. Quick installation too! He even gave us suggestions for seeing deer in our area (sliced sweet apples).

Until today I would rate you with one star. I was waiting since June for somebody to fix my tv channels. One appointment was June 17, nobody came. Another time somebody came, but didnt do anything. Another app. nobody came. Today Branden S. (#7099) came, fix everything perfect. Very nice man and very honest. Because of him I am rating you 5*

The technician I had the other day was extraordinary...on time, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. Phone personnel go out of their way to be of assistance. However, every now and again not so true, but this is not the norm. I have had some very weird problems but now all okay.

This company does not even deserve 1 star. This is the worst internet company I have ever experienced. I only have this service because they have a contract with my apartments. This service is TERRIBLE!!. Goes out multiple times a day sometimes and guaranteed to go out multiple times a week. The company does not care and they only have 1 technician. When he was out they had 1 tech who was They dont want to give you credit for when the internet is out. Trash service

I had Broadstar for the 4 years I lived at Arium Sunrise. The service was OK. I would get outages frequently enough that it was annoying with the outage lasting longer than an hour. My 1 Star Review is because if you need to have a tech come out, it is usually several days before they can come out. For Example, Issue on Friday morning, next time a tech comes to the property is Tuesday.The other reason for my 1 star review is the fact that I moved out in late June. I got billed for service for July and August even though I have called and talked to them several times. I just got a bill (in the middle of August) saying I still owed money for a modem rental which their own tech picked up from me in June.Disorganized disaster of a business.

Branden your Tech has been to my home a few times, and is a great representative for your company! Good at what he does! The problem I have with BroadStar is speaking with someone on the phone without being placed on hold for long periods of time and then waiting several days for service. Speaking with yours customers about their concerns and getting them resolved ASAP should be a priority. Just do your job!

Worst internet provider! This company requires 0 stars, the internet is continuously unstable and unpredictable. I had a technician come out multiple times and replace the box and the issue persists. The company decides to randomly perform maintenance without any notice for 3 hours during the day. The only refund you ever get is $7 per day for service interruption. I work from home and lose hundreds of dollars compared to their $7 refunds. I am with Hunters Run apts which contracts them in and it is the only option for internet. They must be getting one hell of a discount to allow such awful internet providers manage the units. I have even purchased a $400 router to use instead of their cheap box, and the day I buy it Im told they cancelled their policy and no longer allow personal boxes. This was literally 2 days of a policy change because I called prior to my router purchase and was told I could use it and Netgear was allowed. Their customer service reps are not helpful and are unaware of what the company is doing. You have to request a supervisor to get real information. I have the highest speed offered and still the internet is slow. I have tried even wifi boosters which didnt help since its the awful internet service. Broadstar is a complete waste of money. Before you enter into a contract with them or a lease with an apt make sure you are prepared to have unresolvable internet issues. I cant wait to move out of here just to have better internet!In reply to Broadstars response: I did contact your customer service and spoke to a supervisor and was no help. I was credited $7 and given empty apologizes. Your company does not strive for good customer service since your actions of fixing the services dont happen. I expressed my issues for over a year and there was no resolution. Your automated responses are useless. People should know the truth of what they are signing up for, BAD internet service that is a total WASTE of money!

I have tried for months now to get the ports opened up on my account to be able to view my security cameras while out of town. This is not a difficult request. I gave them the port numbers and still nothing. I am on the phone with them again. Such a waste of my time! IT support is horrible!!! So fed up!!!

I’m very disappointed in the service. My internet and cable are constantly going out while I continue to pay them $149 per month auto pay. I call for technical support and while on the phone waiting for the next representative, they prompt me to leave a message. They are closed and now no one is able to assist until tomorrow during my work hours. This is unacceptable for a company that offers an expensive service with no real attention to a customer’s needs.

I lost my internet a few days ago so I called and the person talked me through how to get the internet back. I didnt have to have a technician come to the house. That was so convenient. I do have a concern though. I have a lot of trouble with pixilation. I hope that can be fixed soon. Otherwise I am pleased with my service and the cost is affordable. Thank you.

If I could give this company ZERO stars I would. Service is complete TRASH, it goes out multiple times a day at the same time. Your internet is disrupted more than it is online. On top of that when you call customer service they don’t see anything wrong or it’s always “ someone is working on the internet” EVERYDAY THE INTERNET HAS TO BE WORKED ON!! Also called for a credit because at this point I’m paying to have no internet, they said all they can give us a $10 credit. My husband lost his job due to the internet going out everyday and ALL they offer $10 credit!??? Only reason I have Broadstar is because this is the ONLY service my apartments allow.Response to owner : A tech came after a year of having service with you guys & dealing with terrible wifi. The only reason you guys sent a tech in the first place is because we are canceling service.

Great internet service with very few outages for the last two years we have used broadstar. Speed is certainly not an issue, as we routinely streamed two HD videos simultaneously as well as surfing the internet with no lag or buffering. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that it’s very hard to get ahold of their customer service (office in Florida I believe) and a technician is not always available in your service area. All in all, I will use them again if needing internet service.

A year and a half ago we moved into Horizon Village. We had a great Tech named Branden (#7099) do all the connections for the equipment and got us up and running. Had a recent problem. Just happened that Branden was working in our park and he got the service request. He fixed the problem and even found out why we were having intermittent problems (bad cable and splitter). Have to give him a shout out to say THANKS! And, thanks BroadStar for great service at a fair price. Really helps us seniors out!

John did a first rate job when he was here. He had too much on his plate. Our call took over an hour and a half and he had many more after us. The estimated wait window was 8:30 - 12:30. He arrived after 100 and no wonder with the amount of time needed for each call. Apparently Blue Star had cut the cable for Broadstar so a lot of new cable needed to reconnect. I did not know this when I made the service call. A pleasant efficient person

Unfortunately I moved into my new mobile home at the end of March however, had to pay for a full year of service up front with the association. My home was not a new one so I expected there would be jacks inside and it would be a simple connect however, not a one was there. This was during the shut down and pandemic, so no one could come inside to install although I suggested I could stay on my lanai while they go inside as by this time it was June. They did however send a someone out to extend a cable cord for me to connect through my bedroom window, within a day, so at least I had TV. Unfortunately with every rain storm or thunder, the connection would drag or totally drop. I would often have to scan my channels again. Also, they only come to the property on certain days which limits scheduling. Finally as of last week, they were able to get both TVs properly connected so I thought. About 1hr after he left, I was getting the drag on tv stations. I turned the tv off for a while and then I no longer had the problem. I still get some drag on the TV when the storms roll in but nothing like before. I dont like being on hold for longer than 10 mins., so I tried the call back service. It doesnt work correctly, it will call you back but you are back in a que again although it says you are next in line. The service guy was very professional and got the job done in a reasonable time.

The gentleman that installed our internet and cable service was on time, very well mannered and knew exactly what he was doing. We felt he did the job as quickly as possible. I believe the BroadStar employee’s name was Branden S. Where Branden really went out of,his way when he completed the job was when he was finished. At that point we had a lot of questions regarding the use of our internet and cable TV. Because we are in our 80s we are not as technical as other folks. Branden stayed a lot longer to make sure we understood everything. To top it off we were his last customer for the day and I’m sure was tired and just wanted to get home....but he stayed fort us.

My internet was cut off without any prior warning. After calling their customer service line and waiting about 40 minutes to speak to a representative, I was then informed when I asked, that my service was cut off because I did not pay the bill and that payments are due on the 1st of the month. I did not yet pay the bill because I did not see anything in BroadStars emails or on their website that indicates what date the bill is due. How am I supposed to pay the bill on time if there is NO DUE DATE?! How is it that every other service provider indicates on their websites and bills the due date of the bill EXCEPT BroadStar? These service providers provide their customers with this information because its NECESSARY information for them to know and for them to be able to receive the payment for their services on time. I dont think it is fair AT ALL that my service has been interrupted and Im charged a $25 reactivation fee because I am left to GUESS the date of when my bill is due. It is only fair that the $25 be waved on my behalf.

I’ll give it one star because it’s fine when the internet is connected. Key word: when. It’s usually a toss up if we’re online or not. I would use Cox but apparently BroadStar has a monopoly on Magnolia Place, where we moved to a few months ago. If I knew the internet would be this bad we’d check out other homes for sure. Customer service is also fine when you can get in contact with them (see a pattern here?), but it takes an act of God to get someone on the phone. Definitely do not recommend this company. Fix your connectivity issues, guys. It’s 2020, we need the internet now more than ever.

I’m a new customer with Broadstar, and just had the service installed. The technician showed up as scheduled. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Installation took about 20 minutes. He did explain a few things to me which was good. I’m a little disappointed I have to call customer support to change the password, but I’m assuming that’s a security precaution. So far the basic internet performs pretty well; I haven’t had any connection issues.

This is the worst service I ever had!!!! I am not able to work from home. I’m a single day I lose connection more than 5x a day. You can only contact them between the hours of 8am to 8pm. I have been back and forth about my bill. I spoke with Dana Miller a supervisor earlier and informed her of my bankruptcy. She called me back with the remaining balance after bankruptcy. I paid $168.74 via ACH and was informed it needed to clear before services restored. She also demanded the number of my bankruptcy trustee which is illegal. I replaced the ACH payment with a debit card due to kids working from home and me working from home would suffer. Markeisha the rep refused to transfer me to sup and offered a voicemail. Then put me on hold again then stated at 6;57p EST that the sup had left and no one to assist me. Please help as I’m using every resource available to me to expose the harassment and misconduct received from Broadstar

As many others have expressed in the reviews, they did not choose Broadstar, Broadstar was forced onto them by their community. Generally speaking, when there is no competition, services are usually of less quality since they have nothing to lose. This is the case in Broadstar. I will give credit where credit is due in that the technician that set up my account was professional and arrived in a timely manner. I will say however, that the set up for a wireless modem/router is something that I couldve done myself in less time. I do not like Broadstar for a few reasons, the first being that I am forced to pay a rental fee for a router/modem. I have a perfectly good modem/router that would work fine. Theyre opinion is that other routers/modem do not work well however for an extra $10 a month, Ill take my chances. Another reason I dislike the service is because the price for 50mbps is almost $80, not including the rental fee. From what I have seen in other places, this is just ridiculously expensive for no reason. There service is acceptable as I am able to play games and surf the internet although there have been times where I have had spotty connection. The last reason that I dislike Broadstar is because their internet webpage is so archaic and difficult to get around. This is 2020 and I should not have to call the company to reset my password to access my account, which is what you have to do. The website feels like its from the 90s and isnt compatible with some web browsers. My personal opinion is that if I am trying to pay you, you should make it as easy as possible, which I assure you is not the case. Two stars maybe harsh, but the level of satisfaction with the internet service makes me feel like that is appropriate. I would warn others about Broadstar but sadly, you may not have a choice in your internet option.

Lightning strike close by. followed the coax into my Arris gateway. DEAD!Although had NO luck connecting to support for the rest of that day/night, was able to immediately connect next morning (@8:01am). Talked to friendly, knowledgeable rep, and she scheduled a drop off of new gateway,, but not for two days. Asked her to expedite. Ran into our local tech, Harry, and he got me a newer replacement gateway next day. Plugged in, configured, running great.

Broadstar is by far the worst service provider I have ever dealt with. The complex I moved into only allows you to use this company for tv, internet and hardline phone. They appear to use old dish equipment. They have to use adapters and splitters just to be able to watch tv. I upgraded to a dvr but the rest of the equipment the gave me doesn’t communicate with the dvr so I can only watch recorded shows in the room with the dvr. Only 2 shows can be recorded at a time or 1 recoding and live tv. In order to be able to watch recorded shows in other rooms, you must get yet another upgrade. The recording’s often end too soon even though i set it to record past the end date. I upgraded the channel package specifically stating that I wanted whatever package gives me ESPN And NFL network. They assured me the package I got had them and more but that was a lie, I don’t get ESPN and was told I would have to upgrade again to get it.The tv quality often fluctuates and I upgraded internet but still get disconnected and it is slow. It takes 5 or 6 upgrades just to come close to what I had with Xfinity and ATT. After telling them my address, phone number and email address, they had all three wrong and it took several weeks to get it corrected. I can’t stress this enough NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! I really like the housing complex but I can’t wait to move only because of this company.
