I just want to say that this dentist office was by far the best dentist office I have everrrrrr been to. I just moved to FL from MI and didn’t have any insurance. I was in tremendous pain from a tooth that had decayed and was only a half of tooth left and I made an emergency appointment, I went in at 10:50am and my tooth was pulled out my brain by 11:15 and got home at 11:20am 👏🏽👏🏽 I felt no pain during the entire process. I freaking love their service they were gentle and understanding. I would recommend this place to everyone.

They were the only place available for urgent aftercare dental assistance. They answered the phone at the middle of the night. The receptionist was extremely nice. I was comfortable during and after the procedure.

Doctors and staff came in on Easter to help with a dental emergency. They were swift to accommodate and worked with great care to help me through my dental emergency. I would highly recommend to anyone after this experience.

I visited Dr. John on April 11 2017 and had an excellent experience. I was in Florida for a work event and had a crown from a recent root canal completely fall out. I drove to the clinic immediately around 8pm at night. Fortunately for me the doctor had just finished on another patient and was already at the office, there is only one dentist so if he is not there it may take more time. The entire staff were extremely friendly and put me at ease. As soon as the patient before me was done I was seen, about 20 minutes. The emergency/ after-hours fee was $125 that was upfront before being seen. Before examining my teeth, a simple cement job was recommended. He was not going to charge me anything extra. Yet he noticed that a post and core would be needed. The procedure was reasonably priced but Dr. John was extremely nice and wanted to work with me on the price since I was active duty military. He worked on my teeth for only 20 minutes before finishing. He showed great care during the procedure, it was completely painless. Altogether it took roughly 1 hr – 1 hr 30 min. I waited to write this review until my own dentist could evaluate the work. Yesterday my dentist took x-rays and said Dr. John’s work was excellent and I would need no further work. I am extremely grateful for Dr. John (and his staff) for their care over me. I also wanted to address some of the negative reviews I see on here.Dr. John has excellent chair side manner, he was extremely polite and caring the entire time.Expect a couple hours here, there is one dentist on call 24 hours a day.Since this is an emergency clinic you should also expect to pay a premium. However, I thought the prices were very reasonable. If you disagree look at the bill your regular dentist sends to your insurance, these prices are a fraction of those.This was a very nice looking dentist office with a nicer setup than my current dentist. The only messy/ dirty room I saw was the room that a patient had just been seen in (they had not had time to clean yet). There are multiple rooms and the room I was in was clean and sterile.I have no idea why someone would say this is a scam… They are extremely upfront about every price before they start the procedure.Again, Dr. John was not rude, very polite and completely competent in his work.I wrote this review out of gratitude and respect for Dr. John and his staff. I hope it helps you if you find yourself in an unfortunate situation that requires an emergency/ after-hours dentist.

I came in as a walk in for my back wisdom tooth that cracked, they did X rays and got down to business. The doctor I seen did a great job, I’m absolutely thankful he was able to deal with it so quickly and relieve me of the severe pain I was in.At first I was skeptical due to the bad reviews but I had no other option due to every other place I called saying they would close soon or just couldn’t get me in. But despite the bad reviews this place was worth every penny. I plan on going back for more work. They definitely earned me as one of their patients. Thank you Dr and staff !!!!!

I visited this office for a wisdom tooth removal. During the procedure, despite being numbed with injections and “laughing gas”, I was still able to feel the drilling of the instruments going inside my gums after a few minutes. Mind you I was wide awake and the procedure seemed to take forever only to pull out one tooth. 2-3 hours later, I was in excruciating pain despite taking the recommended medicine/ibuprofen. The entire right side of my mouth was swollen for at least 2 weeks. One of the worst experiences of my life so I would not recommended anyone visit this dentist

I literally just got my tooth done. For not having an assistant to help within the room, the dentist did an amazing job. He was very transparent with me and told me exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and had me look to explain what had happened to my tooth. The assistant/front desk woman was so sweet and so funny. Will be coming back for my future cleanings.

I need an emergency dental appointment. Called at 9am an was informed to call when Im here at 2pm. I did, have my money ready to pay out of pocket and no response. Goes straight to voicemail. Im disappointed and in pain. -sighs-

This was worst experience of my life. Dr. Johns is incredibly rude. I had a traumatic accident that caused damage to my mouth and teeth. This happened on a Saturday evening, no offices were open. I happen to find this place online. I didnt know how extensive the damage was because it wasnt visible. I thought my only problem was a chipped tooth. My adrenaline was still running so I didnt feel any pain. After sitting in his waiting room for over an hour, I started really hurting. When I went to see the doctor, I told him my tooth was hurting. He got mad and said I wasnt honest because I didnt tell him about my tooth. I didnt know there was a problem with my tooth! I was supposed to diagnose myself?? He said he was just going to put a splint in because, Everyone wants to go home. I couldnt believe how mean and callous he was. I was in excruciating pain and he could not have cared less. The office workers had to tell him repeatedly to get me something for the pain because I was crying from the pain and how he was treating me. After he put the split in, he gave me a mirror and I shocked at how the splint looked. I had no idea what a splint even was because he didnt explain anything. He would get mad every time I asked him a question, so I stopped asking. As he walking out of the room after putting in the splint, he heard my reaction and said, Focus on whats important MAAM!!!!. So I cant even react to this thing in my mouth now? He didnt even stay to answer any questions. He just walked out. He told the girl at the front desk that he wanted to see me in two weeks. I vowed to never step foot in that place again. I went and found a dentist that I had been to before that is closer to where I lived and I now go to her. She is wonderful. Even if I didnt have a regular dentist, I would gone to somebody else. This man is terrible and I hope no one else has to deal with what he put me through. Good to everyone and avoid Jackie Johns!!

I am personally a good friend of Dr. Jackie Johns. It really is sad to see so many bad reviews about him. What people don’t really understand is that most Doctors don’t have chair side manners because their brain doesn’t work like that, they have super intelligent brains and are not social butterflies. Yes they are different from the average person, but their work is amazing because of the focus they have. That’s why they hire managers to put the office in its correct order. When I worked for him, on and off for 5 years, I handled the staff, so he wouldn’t have to be bothered with the mediocre stuff. He is an amazing dentist and he actually is a great person with just a misunderstood personality. If you want a great dentist, he is definitely the one to go to. I hope you guys get the bigger picture. Thanks...

Came in to this dental office thinking they accepted my moms dental insurance. Made our trip out on a Sunday as an emergency since she was in so much pain. I couldn’t be more thankful. We are in the midst of an oncoming hurricane and I knew that we had to get this taken care of. The doctor was compassionate, caring, professional and quickly took care of my mom. I am so very thankful. I will be telling everyone about this place. Thank you for your compassion and for not just shutting us down. You explained everything to us about our insurance coverage and went above and beyond.

NASTY MAN ANSWERED! I stated I need an oral surgeon and I said this first sentence as I just visited a dentist that said “I can’t help you, you need a oral surgery” I’ve been in pain for days. This man say “yes we can take out teeth” which is a generic answer (the other dentist I saw could take out teeth as well) BUT HE COULDNT TAKE OUT THIS TEETH‼️ Because it needs to be cut out. He yells down the phone and say “I told you we can take out teeth and you keep asking me this again then he hands the phone to a lady that spoke broken English saying you talk to her. I’m driving from Port St Lucie and I had cash on hand to pay as I have limited dental. The issue I had was not if he could take out teeth, but can you remove a teeth another dentist told me requires removal by a oral surgeon? I believe he kept giving me that generic answer as to get me down there have me accumulate a bill only in the end say “you have to see an oral surgeon” had he said “yes I can work at the capacity of a oral surgeon a regular dentist can not do oral surgery!” Stay away!! RUDE RUDE RUDE and I had 1k to spend to get away from this pain. Going elsewhere

I was afraid to go at first because of the reviews, but he is a super nice Doctor. His medical assistant was really nice as well. There was nothing rude about this man. He got rid of my pain that Ive had for weeks, crying myself to sleep and for that I am grateful and I will recommend him to anyone who is in need of emergency care.

I wouldnt recommend going to this dental office. Before my wife and I visited we checked the google reviews and the majority of the reviews didnt seem so good but we gave this place the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. Dr Johns seemed very impatient and he wasnt careful while checking out the tooth that I needed work on. He was rough and he took a metal object and hit my tooth with it a little too hard a few times even though he was informed before hand that the tooth had me in pain. Also it seemed as if he just wanted money. We received 3 different quotes within the span of 15 minutes. Also we had to go through hoops to get them to send my xrays to me. Do yourself a favor and heed the warnings of the Google reviews.

I have been going to Dr. Jackie C. Johns since 1985, and have always have a great experience. I have received 4 implants in the past, and will be receiving 4 more today. I highly recommend him, and believe that he is the best dentist in southern Palm Beach County! You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Johns was there when we needed him on Friday night. My daughter was in horrific pain when she arrived as a new patient. When we left; she was herself again. He did an emergency root canal to save her tooth. He will be getting all our family business from now on. He and his staff were efficient and friendly. 😀

I regret giving Dr. Johns a five star rating previously. My daughter ended up having the root canal tooth pulled by the peridontist he referred her to for her wisdom teeth. There was not enough tooth left for her crown. He is not an honest man and refused to refund my out of pocket money. In addition, my daughter told me he treats his staff disrespectfully. I suppose he doesnt understand how poorly that reflects on him.

He’s rude... doesn’t care for others.. grabbed a tool and intentionally broke my tooth and my gums are swollen. Had another dentist fix what he did. Never going back. Look elsewhere for proper service.

The place is very unprofessional and a ripe off. If you can wait til another dentist is open PLEASE DO SO! My husband cracked a took while dining out on the weekend. My mother is oral surgeon in another state and she recommended just to have that took extracted only. Well they up charged everything. Just for Novocain, rad and extraction. I had the same happen to me in Orlando and I payed $160 for the same service that cost use here 3X AS MUCH. Should had waited til Monday and saw a proper dentist for that price. Another thing that was weird front desk girl was wearing a do-rag on her head. I guess we didn’t have time to do our hair in the morning😒. Oooh also 3 hours remove ONE TOOTH!

Please do not go here. This place is the house of horrors in dentistry. This dentist fractured my tooth and did a core build up around the fracture and left my bite high. I had his work examined by professional dentist in Palm Beach County and they said this dentist should be out of practice for the work he performed on me. Please do your research and look him up. This place operates under many names. Beware!

Do not go to this establishment.. They will scam you out of your money! I went here for a root canal... The girl at the front did not bill our insurance even thou she claimed she did, she is RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. The Dr did half of the root canal and schedule the other half 2 weeks later while I was in pain!!! Not to mention there waiting area and rooms are old and dirty..! RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The doc has been great to Neil Fisher during multiple emergency visits for the emergency repair of crowns that broke or fell out at the wrong time! As he just posted on Yelp...but he doesnt have a Google account. The doc is personable and friendly, reasonably priced, and best of all very attentive to emergency needs, when help is needed. Easy to work with. Over the decades, Neil F. has been a patient of the famed cosmetic dentists of the rich and famous in New York City and in Palm Beach but here you dont have to be rich, famous or an A-list celebrity to get your tooth or teeth fixed. The emergency repairs have also held up well. Neil F. is a repeat patient.

I came here for a few emergency fillings, and he started trying to sell me Invisalign. Never got any fillings done, but got charged $100 for X Rays. The girl who did my X Rays cut my mouth up, and made me hold the machine in place with my hand because it was broke. Go elsewhere!

Dr. Johns always helps out my family. He opens up the office after hours when my tooth breaks. And no matter what he always makes me feel like family. He helps to not be scared of the procedure and is always willing to work out costs and just make sure to get you out of pain. No matter what his patients matter to him, and I will say because of him I am not scared of a dentist.

I agree, never go to this place. All lies, tried to get me to pay 200 dollars before they would say if they could fix the problem. Hashtag scam!! What’s worse the office lady could not figure out Washington DC was not a state. Insisted that I have to live in a state. Seriously, you can not be more uneducated. Hes very disrespectful I went about 2 years ago and everything worked out fine... I went back in July and he was so mean and verbally DISRESPECTFUL the staff also to me in reference to my teeth I was hurt and embarrassed that I left without service but still had to pay almost $200 for the X-ray and prescriptions that I already had at home that wasnt working😡

Worst dental experience of my life. Ive been to the Caridad clinic and waited hours in line but never had to deal with such a rude dentist. I had a bad feeling when I arrived but it was an emergency so I had to get it taken care of. The dentist was very mean and rude to his assistants and staff, to the point that I thought one of the girls would cry. The anesthetic must have been expired or something because it were off before they even started the extractio . I asked the assistant for more and the doctor reluctantly gave me more and didnt even wait for it to set in.He got straight yanking and I raised my left hand as instructed but he wouldnt stop! I had to grab the assistants arm and to let her know, by that time the first half was pulled out.The office equipment and rooms were dirty, wouldnt be surprised to find cockroaches. Im thinking that maybe this dentist is very cheap because nothing looked to be updated. I almost walked out, but since he didnt question the fact I wanted to get this tooth extracted, I went ahead considering most places make you wait. Overall it was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. They need to be shut down.As for the assistants and girls in the office, they were very knowledgeable and could find a better job where they are valued and treated with respect.

This dentist!!! His licenses should be revoked! I had the worst experience anyone could ever have with a dentist. 1st of all the doctor talks down to his staff, it was the most repulsive thing I’ve ever seen and it made me uncomfortable. He’s lucky that they even allow one star, honestly, I would give him none. I am not sure if he has something against black people, or he’s just a nasty soul but his logic and mannerism is disturbing.Going into Jackie’s office I requested for all four of my wisdom theeth to be removed and he told me, no, he can only remove one (which I found to be weird being that my other doctor who was unavailable was going to extract all four but I didn’t complain because I was in pain and my insurance was in its last days of coverage being that I was turning 21.​ So I proceeded with his services, as the time went by he requested for his staff to move me to a room where I noticed I was going to be preformed on and took a few shots of my teeth(which was painful b/c he was using the most out dated devices to get shots of my mouth. (in these moments right in front of me the doctor called his staff member stupid in the most demizing tone for passing him the wrong equipment and he was screaming at the others for no apparent reason) then the doctor injection a few shots in my mouth and began the procedure. He used the most uncomfortable devices on me and he was tilting my head to his comfort. I screamed in agony and he told me to hold still. I tried my best to while he yanked my tooth out. multiple times I expressed my discomfort and he blatantly ignored me. After what felt like hours I told him to stop and he called me ungrateful and scream that he was helping me and how I’m on medicade and I’m lucky That he took me in.Today, I wished I reported him when this event occurred. But hopefully this review will shed some light on his disgusting personality.

First it looks like some run down dentist office in an abandoned plaza all the equipment looks like it was installed by someones handyman uncle. A simple cleaning took almost 2 and a half hours! An hour of that was waiting to see the actual Dr! I finally walked out so who knows how long it would actually have taken to be seen. Never going back

Worst experience in a dentists office. Cockroaches, scams, rude dentist. The dentist changed the price on me three times, when I asked why he was rude and called me an abusive slur. Refused to supply refund. Some of his documents appear to be forged or changed. This man is a violent man and a quack please go anywhere but here!!!

This dentist will only call a prescription in for me if I pay $150. All about the $. A simple antibiotic will stop the infection and pain until I get it pulled but he needs his $150 for the minute it takes to call it in

Worse experience ever. Dr has no chair side manner. Spend over 2 hr in clinic. Xray tech took full set of xray. Then Dr comes in exan room without even examining my mouth at all. Walked in told me I needed me to make a chooce on treatment. When I said I dont even know what the problem is, his answer, you have a hole in your teeth.with that response I just wanted to get the h...l out of there. I was charge $125. for the xray. Mine you, I was quoted the fee ncluded exam and cleaning. I paid and ran out the door quickly.
