My experience with Palm Beach Mac service was a million times better than any of my repairs with the Apple Store. I had no problem getting an appointment. They kept in contact with me to give me updates on my iMac repair and their service was so much easier and faster. They were also way more friendly and professional than any of the so-called geniuses working at the Apple Store. I only wish they were open on weekends and were closer to where I live but Id still drive a little bit farther to bring my computer to them. From now on, Ill be going back to Palm Beach Mac service any time I need my Mac repaired.
Service was quick, friendly and professional. I left my laptop there for a diagnostic because my screen wouldn’t turn on. I was expecting to have to pay hundreds of dollars for a new screen. Lo and behold, I got a call shortly after returning home, telling me they were able to just do a reset on the screen….and no charge…they said it was a courtesy. I WILL definitely be back if I have further problems….and I will recommend these guys whole-heartedly!

I brought in my iPad because it had quit working for no reason. They quickly replaced it for a fair price. Great customer service. I saw that they are very patient with some of their older customers that didn’t understand technology. 10/10 will go again if I have any other Apple problems.
Convenient location. What I thought would be a quick in and out turned into a situation. While they are an authorized apple dealer they don’t have phone replacements on site and to me defeats the purpose.Brought my phone in and it took a little over 2 hours for diagnostics, picked it up for them to say it’s fine… an hour later all the issues I voiced returned so I ended up the actual apple store, at the Genius Bar and they had to replace the phone. While at apple I noticed they removed my screen protector, immediately I called and sent an email and no one responded. When I finally got I touch with them I got this sassy character named Jory who was so rude, he clearly didn’t care. I immediately sent an email to the head guy named Craig and tried to call him but got no answer. Luckily a gentleman by the name of Ryan called me back and said it was there fault for not communicating and asked me to come in to have my screen protector replaced.
These guys are very responsive, quick, efficient, fair, and explain everything every step of the way. Very satisfied.

Im a full-time editor who works remotely. I have a MacBook Pro 2012 and last week it ground to a halt resulting in the most stressful workweek of my eight years with current company. After ten thousand phone conversations with Apple support technicians as well as Microsoft support technicians, multiple screensharing experiences, an upgrade to Catalina OX, and installing the newest version of Microsoft Office 365, the stalemate was still not resolved.I finally had to find the nearest Apple Service Center for a Hail Mary pass into the endzone.Thomas was a patient dream who reassured me of what the issue likely is -- needed new hard drive and better/newer battery -- and that it should be easily resolved.I left my laptop overnight, rented a MacBook Air (to not continue to lose work hours for my grueling, daily editing volume), became a little too spoiled by the brand new MacBook Air *smirk* and my laptop was ready to go the next day.So far, things seem to be working ideally. *knocks on wood*Thank you, Palm Beach MacService, for sterling support!Love,Gretchen Astro

Our Mac Book Air wouldnt charge up or turn on. After going to another place, which told us a repair time would 4 to 6 weeks and who then suggested we come to PB MacService, I was given a repair time of a week. Later that day, I got a call informing me that they were able to get the computer turned on and after some diagnostics to confirm the issue, it should be fixed in a day or 2. One new battery later, for a very reasonable price, we have the computer back in a much shorter time frame than even they quoted. Amazing from start to finish,
I had a problem with an external hard drive synching with a new laptop. It worked fine with my old laptop but PB MacService determined why it wasnt synching with my new Laptop and fixed the external hard drive. I talked to the IT department where I work and they had no clue how to fix it. I was grateful that PB Mac Service could fix this and several other challenging services they have saved me from in the past. Definitely a 5 star rating!

When you have a problem with a computer, whatever the brand, what most people do is try to repair it on their own, however on some occasions the problem comes out of the hands of the general knowledge that a user may have normal. This is where companies that are responsible for providing service in this particular case Apple come into play. I had more than 24 months without being able to update the Mac OS on my wifes Macbook, I was stuck on the Mac Catalina, I tried to do aevery methods that Apple suggests on their website, I went through each and every one without any advance ... I was almost convinced that the laptop had some serious problem. We were even already thinking of buying another equipment (by the way I dont like Apple equipment)) although I must accept that they are of a frankly unsurpassed quality by any other manufacturer, I just dont like them. It was a week ago that I was looking for information on a new laptop, I met with the Apple technical service and called them, asked if I required an appointment to take the equipment, I was struck in a positive way that no appointment was necessary, just bring the laptop and we checked it, the person on the phone told me kindly. The next day I took the Macbook to the store and explained what problem it presented, it was only the Mac OS update, since the rest of the functionalities were perfect. I received the equipment and they were in permanent contact about the process and they were advancing in each of the stages to solve the problem until they reached the critical part of making an installation what they call a clean installation, with which all the data that was in the macbook would be lost (I had a backup made with time machine) they repeated to me several times and in a very professional way that the information found on the computer would be lost using this method. I gave the consent to go ahead. The computer was with them for about two days (because although they contacted me to tell me that in good time the macbook had responded to the update) I could remove it on the second day,,,, I came to think that due to the extra time it took reinstallation of the operating system, they would make me pay an extra fee, but fortunately not ... I only had to pay what was agreed at the beginning .. I am very happy to have had a team of professionals, very friendly and talented young people who make me re thinking about companies that provide services in any other area of commerce, what is the difference between offering a normal service to a service that goes far beyond excellence? . This place is absolutely everything, dont even think about going to the apple store Genius Bar when this place is the bomb. They always help me flawlessly for a low price and even help me fight with Apple in order to get my services for no charge. Ive had help with my phone and Mac, this place is just great, go to them!!!
The absolute worst experience ever. I took my computer there because of a fan noise. They kept the computer for 1 month. It was returned with a with a wiped hard drive and scratches all over it. They also charged me $700. I dont think these guys know anything about fixing computers. Take your stuff to a real Apple store and stay away from this place!
I would give 5 stars but the repair required parts that were shipped very slowly due to COVID. I realize that was out of your control - but maybe there was a way to set the expectation that my repair time would depend on when part was received. It ended up taking about 10 days when I was told it would be about 2. Again, not really your fault. I found everything else about the experience very good and happy to have my laptop back in one beautifully working piece!
I am so grateful to have found this company. I was limping along with substandard Mac support even from Apple! After having only used Macs since the first Mac Classic, I was ready to jump ship and buy a PC! Palm Beach MacService has convinced me I can stay with Apple computers after all. They were great from start to finish: they helped me work with Apple to obtain an out-of-warranty hardware repair and they replaced my mother board, defective keys and screen in a timely fashion. When I got home and couldnt get the Microsoft Word license to transfer to the new mother board, Ryan worked with me over the phone to get my Word running again. I cant say enough good things about them.
My MacAir needed a battery and they had it. You pay a little bit more (not much), but it was ready after two hours! The Apple Store didnt have it in stock and their only option was to send the laptop to repair and that meant for me, a week without it. I would definitely take my MacAir there again.
Recently brought my broken iPhone 12 Pro Max in for service at Palm Beach Mac Service. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the worker then got my information and what was wrong, they were quick to repair and replace my defective screen. My phone has been working perfectly ever since. I highly recommend. I have been coming here for years and this is my go-to for my Apple repair needs.
Incredible service! My screen was damaged 3 weeks before I had to take the bar exam and was unusable. I scheduled an appointment with Palm Beach MacService through Apple, and they were the only authorized Apple store in the area that had an appointment available the next day. When I took my computer in, I expressed the urgency of the repair. Although I couldve paid an additional $150 to GUARANTEE expedited service, I decided not run the gauntlet and not purchase it. They told me it may take a week to complete the repair. However, to my surprise, they purchased the piece they needed from Apple day of and had my computer fixed and returned to me in 2 DAYS of dropping it off. I am SO thankful & SO impressed with their service.Super friendly people, and extremely cute store!! HIGHLY recommend for all your repair needs. I live 40 minutes away and will still choose to take all my Apple tech here for all repairs here on out.

My mac starting acting strangely, no apps would open and it wouldnt connect to the internet. We tried to reset to factory but it was still showing as if there was stuff on our hardrive. I wasted 2 days of my life on apple care and then connected with Palm Beach MacService. They had it fixed in 2 days and only charged around 60 dollars. It was a fast, efficient service, they checked in with me at all times to let me know what was happening. I highly recommend their service.

I made an appointment online to get my phone screen replaced. I dropped the phone at 9:30 and was told to come back in 90 min. I came back in 2.5 hours. Although the phone was ready they would not release it as Apple wanted to do a check on the phone and repair and it might take all day. No one called to advise before I left work to pick up the phone. I could not believe it. I had to leave work, drive to WPB and be told come back at the end of the day. I explained that I was going to have a police officer come and take a report that my property was not being returned. All of a sudden my phone was available. Not a good experience.- However - the repair work was incredible!
I had a problem currently with my fathers iPhone and he needs a new battery. He is in the hospital and unable to leave. Verizon wanted me to take phone to Geek Squad in Best Buy. Geek Squad broke part of the phone. Came out to tell me they suspected it had water damage and could not replace the battery. I googled for an Apple store and Palm Beach Mac Services popped up. It was near the Best Buy so I drove down the street to see if they could help. I explained the situation. They figured out what the Geek Squad had done. They contacted Apple for me and explained the situation and had apple literally replace the phone for my father. I have never seen customer service like them in south Florida. And will gladly tell everyone that I meet. They will always be my goto store for all of my Apple needs. Thanks guys for all that you did for us. :)

What an amazing experience! My screen on my MacBook Pro thedecided to stop working....With only one day left on my factory warranty they were able to authorize and take care of my repair. They quoted me two weeks to get it done and the repairs were back my laptop is perfect and it was done in just seven days. Under the current stress of everyone bringing their Apple products here due to COVID 19, they got my IMAC taken care of quicker than I expected but most importantly they kept me in the loop the entire time since it could’ve been something much worse. Also the price was very reasonable considering the amount of work they needed to do investigating, replace the hard drive, and still keep me informed because they knew my job depended on it. VERY happy with the service here, and also they set up a tent outside to keep the people in line protected from the sun and had someone constantly coming out to make the line move faster. This is a great company, a slice of Cupertino Apple right in our community.Shane used to have a shop on Dixie Highway in West Palm until he moved near the Home Depot. Always great service, excellent prices and the staff are extremely helpful and do their jobs with smiles on their faces. (Albeit, smiles under masks at the moment).They know Apple devices inside and out and dont get condescending or annoyed when you ask them to explain something. No surly techie attitudes! Cant recommend this place highly enough. You got a problem, just call em and dont worry. Cant say that with many other places!
Made an appointment to have an iPhone X evaluated for a new battery. Upon dropping the phone off, they said they had batteries in stock. Received a phone call less than an hour later indicating they did not have the batteries in stock and did not know when they would get batteries from Apple. Went to pick up the phone, and realized the screen protector was cracked (a pretty large crack I might add). It wasnt until I pointed it out that an employee took the phone into the back and someone put a new screen protector on the phone. The new screen protector days later still has bubbles and does not appear to have been placed on correctly. Two stars because the employees were friendly, but needless to say I will definitely not return to this place and would not recommend.
I was able to make an appointment within 24 hours. Front desk was helpful, fast, and knowledgeable. Jill repaired my phone and considering I am not tech savvy, he did an amazing job explaining the issue with my phone and repaired the same day.

The first time I use these guys it was amazing and the service was spectacular. I brought in another computer there last week they kept dragging their feet dragging their feet dragging their feet Then we got a price back from them It was actually $200 more than they first quoted me.I found a place in Wellington Its a lot farther from my house but a much better deal. Im going to go there instead from now on.

I cannot recommend them based on my experience. I received my computer back damaged, very dirty, not fully repaired, and Ive experienced a software error the day after I picked it up. I was told my computer would be done by a certain day, then received a call a few days later saying they cant fix it and have to send it to Apple which would take an additional 10 days. If you dont have all the proper tools to fix Apple products like the factory can, then you shouldnt be an authorized Apple repair service. Very disappointing experience!
Replaced battery on my Macbook Pro by replacing top case (which included a new keyboard). Battery seems to work but my function keys dont.When I called they immediately became defensive saying their repair and my function key issues are unrelated and I should call Apple Care first even though they replaced the keyboard themselves.After 2.5 hours on the phone with Apple Care, I have to take it back in for another repair. Im going to an Apple Store instead.They also didnt order the new part for 11 days after I dropped my laptop off. I had to follow up to make sure they ordered the part.They seem to think theyre very intelligent, but they failed to order the part timely meaning they are bad businessmen and bad repairmen.I should have known better the first day I went there and there was a lady ahead of me who was extremely angry. I learned my lesson. Ill never go back there again.My advice to them, spend less time at Starbucks and more time running your business properly. And you can also use a healthy dose of humility and learn to take responsibility for your errors.Best of luck!

Brought in 2 laptops and they never told me about a diagnostic fee. Got a call that my laptop is ready, went to pick it up and paid 50$. When I got home I realized that nothing was fixed, they never told me that they cannot fix my laptop and charged me 50$ for diagnostic fee. Same thing happened with my other laptop; they didn’t fix anything, if I wanted to get it fixed it would be twice as expensive as in a other apple certified place abs AGAIN paid for the “diagnostic fee” 50$... spent 100$ and a lot of time and I still have 2 broken laptops..
After the Apple store said it would my MacBook Pro would have to be sent out and would not be able to have the battery changed for three weeks I went to Palm Beach MacService. They are a top notch service and were able to change my battery in less than 24 hours and at half the price that was quoted at the Apple store.They were courteous and patient and completed the job faster than expected.In the future I will just skip the Apple store and go straight to them.
Called Apple for alternative place to get MacBook Air repaired, and they gave me Palm Beach Mac Service and made appointment for next morning as Apple store booked up for 3 days. Stored opened on time and was in and out in under 5 minutes. Had to order new screen, a day or two. Sure enough they confirmed my drop off and stayed in touch until it was ready to pick up. Great service, friendly and efficient. Answered all my questions. Highly recommend them for all computer repairs.

These are the pros to go to if you need to repair or service your Mac away from the Apple Store lines. I had a new SSD installed and they were very good at explaining what it would take and how to save a little money. I was very pleased. Shane and Ryan both seemed very knowledgeable and polite. I took my MacBook Pro for a flex gate issue, which is a recall on this computers, I left it there for a week.The only problem with the computer was that you couldn’t open it all the way, it had to be to a certain degree so the display will stay ON.Nothing else was wrong with it!When I went back to get it they tell me they can’t get it to turn ON, and they don’t know why.I wish I had never taken it to this place and I could’ve still used it the same way I was doing it.

I have been a client of PBMS for some years. I keep coming back because I have always received outstanding service. My recent visit has been another 5 start event. I went to Apple first and though I didnt at the time know they had misdiagnosed the problem when I came to Shane and company I discovered the real problem.. Regardless, my computer was fixed for a very reasonable price and in a timely fashion..plus i received additional assistance as well. Theyre honest, quick, they do excellent work ....

Very courteous, respectful group of people working here. I had problems with APPLE, but that had nothing to do with them. Despite APPLE keeping me on the phone and not resolving my issue, the guys took my phone even though it was almost closing, fixed everything, and returned it to me without keeping me waiting too long.
