Responded and handled my complaint quickly. I turned to BBB when my personal banker could not get resolved. The process was detailed oriented with a lot of specific questions that I had not considered. Timely communication, patient and determined to get a resolution on my behalf. I am so grateful. BBB is truly is an organization that cares about the community/ consumers. They are fair to all parties involved which allows the consumers to use this platform to voice concern on different issues : i.e : billing, customer service or something else. BBB is neutral but always attempts to address the concern in a very timely manner and still remains professional. Those that contact BBB must remember they can only help you if you help them and are honest and give adequate information for the assistance to be given. In my 25 years of living, I’ve used the BBB twice. Both time they have taken swift action into getting the information I need. Personally I don’t like to use them against business but this particular school was withholding my information in order for me to transfer. Overall I really do appreciate what you guys do. The BBB helped me with my complaint with Cinch Home Services, Inc. Cinch is a home warranty company, which I pay every month. My dishwasher broke in March 2021 and was scheduled to be repaired that same month. However, my repair kept getting postponed because Cinch could not find the parts. My contract with Cinch states that if the company can not find the appliance parts after 3months, Cinch will replace the appliance. By, August 2021 Cinch would re-route my calls to an endless hold. I called the BBB, and three days later, Cinch sent me a check for my warranty deductible and a new dishwasher. I appreciate the BBB because, without the BBB, Cinch Home services would have never replaced my dishwasher. BBB is an excellent service to resolve consumer conflicts and to find a tremendous reputable business.
The BBB is a great Advocate to assist with various disagreements with companies to come a conclusion. The BBB looks to assist customers/members with satisfying there concerns. The BBB is free, fair and time sensitive to your situation. I have used them several years for their assistance. I recommend giving them a try, you have everything to gain.
We purchased a refrigerator from Brandsmart in April of 2020. The ice maker stopped working in May of 2021. We called the company to schedule service. A worker came to home about three weeks later. The technician was clueless. He said we needed a new ice maker, but he did not bring one with him. He came back a couple of weeks later and replaced the ice maker. It still did not work. I called to complain and after waiting another two weeks the same tech came to check out the problem. He had no idea what he was doing.After three attempts at fixing the problem I wrote BBB. I received a phone call from a senior Customer Service Rep a couple of days later. I explained that the main problem was the Tech that had already come three times did not know what they were doing. I wanted a more experienced person. They send a senior Technician. He diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes. It was a malfunctioning valve that was not allowing water to flow to the ice maker. He replaced the valve. Problem solved. I am certain that this problem would have persisted for many more weeks if BBB had not intervened. They are excellent at getting results. I highly recommend using them.
Professional, helpful, Immediate response, and follow-up. If it wasn’t for the BBB, I believe my ongoing issue would have never been resolved. I like to purchase from small companies to support them. But, all small companies should not be supported. It is the BBB that holds businesses to standards & it is one place you can trust!
I am grateful for BBB. There have been some testing times with companies giving me the runaround. Without the public space to air the laundry, I do not believe I would have had any success in resolving my issues.My latest issue happened to be a debate between interpretation of policy. It was looking like I would lose my $600 dollars. I pleaded and begged for someone to help me. I hit brick wall after brick wall. After filing the complaint, I received a full refund.I feel BBB gives consumers a fighting chance over corporate Bullies inside the veil of employment. We all work, but some of this is down right frustrating to have a buyer beware clause and not defense again changing policies.
I contacted the Better Business Bureau to help me resolve a dispute with a company that was not responding to my written correspondence or telephone calls. The Better Business Bureau contacted the business with my complaint and it was immediately resolved. The Better Business Bureau also followed up several times to make sure that I was happy with the result, which I was. I believe if I wouldn’t have gotten the Better Business Bureau involved, I would still be at an empass with the company.
My husband and I would like to thank the Better Business Bureau for their help in settling our timeshare exit they kept an open line of communication between the two of us which was in writing and after almost 7 months a back-and-forth many other entities helped but the Better Business Bureau kept us both in the loop I really appreciate them helping us even if it was just to keep it in the public eye and keep our case open I am happy to say that the matter is almost over with, thank you again

I always go to them, for Business conflict resolutions and theyve never failed to get a fair compromise.I highly recommend the BBB to all my friends, family and coworkers. This is an excellent platform to understand how companies actually behave in practice vs what they communicate out in advertisements. Reviews come in from genuine users. I have personally used BBB to resolve product and service defects with multiple businesses who did nothing offer right support or overcharged me for their services. Highly recommended. Suggest you have your documentation ready when you are filing a claim against a business using BBB.
It took many months to resolve my problem with the vendor. This was mostly the fault of the vendor; however, I found BBB very reluctant to acknowledge the problem with the vendor and to address the much larger issue of reducing their rating from an A+. BBB was also non-responsive to my concerns about solving a problem by a new fix that was identical to the problem. Specifically, my counters were higher than expected, so my stove was placed on small blocks (about 2 square inches), so it could not be pulled out without falling off of the blocks -- and then not pushed back. BBB was adamant that the inspectors report to put the same size blocks (rather than a platform) under them was ok. Fortunately, the vendor did the right thing and installed the much needed platform, but it took about one year to finish my kitchen. I found BBB staff to be excessively stubborn, rigid, and unable to comprehend the problems.

The BBB is a God sent ! I was getting jerked around by a company for months. In fact 9 months. I was waiting for repair work to be done and sent back to me. usually it takes 2 months. I called and sent emails many times but kept getting excuses. Finally I contacted the BBB and spoke with a rep their and explained the situation. She resolved it and with in a couple of weeks my repair work was completed and shipped back to me. I will say this on the behalf of the company that did the repair work they did a fantastic job plus extra. It was a win win all they way around !

I was at my wits end with my home security company. I had been contacting them regarding incorrect charges on my bill totalling hundreds of dollars and was getting nowhere. I was transferred around, hung up on and not taken seriously even though I had documentation proving I did not owe the amount they said. It was not until I filed a complaint with the BBB that they took notice. They credited my account and even apologized. I was so happy to have this organization to reach out to. They knew the right people to contact to get something done. Very appreciative!

Okay so I had some troubles with qlink wireless refusing to send me a phone and SIM card so dad sent it for over 9 months and I finally got ahold of Better Business Bureau they said the matter was in a whole day the very next day the phone arrived at the SIM card and Ive had no more troubles with them thank you so much better business bureau you are amazing
I was having a problem getting an earned premium from a wireless company. Phone calls to their overseas phone unit were frustrating, time wasting and non productive. After several requests I was finally transferred to their Florida HQ. I was promised in writing (email) that the premium would be credited to my account. It was still not credited. I contacted the BBB and emailed the the relevant documentation. The BBBs follow through resulted in my finally receiving the premium I had earned. I am grateful for the service the BBB provides.

The BBB was a great help for me. I was dealing with a company for my hurricane windows; one of had a stress crack in it and was growing. During hurricane season This started in January and after numerous calls with no return phone calls except one that told me I would have to pay &500. I was under warranty and told them it was a manufacturer defect. Again no return phone calls. So I turned to the BBB and within less than a week I had a new window with no charge. Thank u BBB. They were great and problem solved my ordeal. So it took me from January until I reached out to the BBB in July and problem solved.
Ordering online should make life easier, but some businesses have no customer service at all once they have charged your account, they are done with you. Thats when the BBB is of great help, and if it wasnt for them, we would never hear from merchants again. Thank you BBB of Southeast Florida!

Am so glad for the BBB. If not for them, we probably would have had to hire another mover to finish moving us. The movers we hired only brought part of our stuff, and said they would send another Truck in a couple of days for the rest of our stuff. 6 weeks later we were still waiting.. I had a dispute with a company over a refund that I thought I was entitled to. The company did not agree. So, I filed a complaint with BBB. The company still refused to send my refund. BBB wanted to know if I was satisfied with the companys response. I said no and explained why. Then the company contacted me again and said they would refund my money immediately. Thanks to BBB!!!
I was having trouble contacting a company that I had purchased a product from that offered a money back guarantee. The company did not return my calls after leaving several messages and then their voice mailbox was full. They didnt respond to any of my emails either, so I contacted the BBB and within a few days the refund showed up on my credit card
My moving company was based in Florida, and I used them for a CA to OR move. It went horribly wrong. They ignored me until I filed a case with BBB. BBB did an amazing job working to a resolution.
I had to share my experience because I was getting nowhere with a home warranty I purchased from sears, that wasnt being honored as stated within the initial contract. I called this morning to Royal Garage Door Repair get a schedule for a question... I have a Genie remote that stopped working... i asked for a general fee for a tech to come out to look at my issue.. the Asian speaking person that took my call stated it would be $75.00 just to say - the remote does not work ?? Then i asked what it would be for a replacement.. He said that the $75.00 on top of the replacement may be more than $400.00?? but he was not sure... I just needed a standard for a 2 car door motor ? I spent 30 minutes on the phone explaining what i needed... most companies would add the $75.00 to the new replacement... He proceeded no... with the quality of service i received this morning is for the 1star... i am a senior citizen on a budget... just wanted by problem fixed... The phone rep added no assistance... he then just hung up...

I was amazed at how fast bbb responded to my complaint against Vita Prime. I ordered some dog treats from them but never received merchandise, although they deposited my money. After trying to contact company and no reply I had to ask BBB to intervene. I finally received the credit I was due. I know if it wasnt for BBB I would still be out that money. SO very pleased with my experience with the BBB! I had been trying to contact a company about a purchase that I was charged for yet never received the item. At 1st they were replying to my emails then they stopped. Then my tracking number disappeared. I had no other recourse but to reach out to the Better Business Bureau and I am so happy that I did! They contacted the business for me and within a few days after they contacted the business on my behalf my item was magically Shipped out and I received it within a week. I was surprised I was asked to write a review of BBB, however once I filed my complaint against the company, Home Supply, BBB acted quickly and within two days the company contacted me via email, issued my refund for a product they advertised but didnt have. Fast, efficient and resolved.

Hired a moving company stating they had movers in my area but the day before my move I was told the movers had already left. I was moving cross country. I was told it would be at least a week before other movers could get me out. They had broken their contract and could not guarantee dates (as they had previously and broke). I was left in a bad situation and forced with moving myself at the last minute. I was also told I would not get refunded so I reached out to the BBB. A few weeks later, their customer service called and I was told I would get my refund.I had already reached out to the company but they only became belligerent and called me the liar. After BBB notified them of my claim, it seems the company listened and changed its mind.

They have helped me several times. They act quickly and they get companies to provide an answer to customers when they were not doing so. I dont know any better alternatives to BBB to solve disputes when companies provide a bad service and are unresponsive to customers. I highly recommend to contact them after trying to contact the service provider several time with no resolution.

Only way I could even get Royal Caribbean to actually even talk to me (Horrible Company, look elsewhere for a cruise). BBB helped me get a refund. Only thing I wish is that I could update that I got a refund after Royal Caribbean said they would no longer respond, no way to update the ticket after that. I would have gotten completely screwed along with most of the other people that booked cruises with the the past few years if it wasnt for me trying out making a complaint with the BBB. Next option would be to contact an attorney which I was going to do but didnt really want to deal with.
I recently experienced an issue with a furniture company related to the quality of the product. I contacted the Better Business Bureau via email to discuss my situation and options that I may have to resolve the issue with the furniture company. After 10 months of trying alone to obtain a refund which everyone said I was entitled too, I had my money after just a month after having the BBB’s involvement. I will always go to their website (BBB) to see how a companys ratings are before I consider hiring them. Also I know if that if I have a problem I can file a complaint with the BBB and they will help me get it resolved.

BBB was able to get an immediate resolution from the moving company that I had attempted multiple times to resolve a dispute. This dispute was ongoing with the moving company for over a month and within a day of filing a complaint with BBB I was contacted by the moving company with the resolution I wanted. EDreams is a travel company. I bought plane tickets through them. They wouldnt even send me a confirmation, even after I emailed them asking why. BBB helped me by contacting them and making it a clear and open case, not something hidden. I also contacted the FBI through their online division, which helped. They eventually confirmed my tickets and I was able to fly. I had to buy other tickets because of eDreams, but I will be able to fly somewhere else for that money with the other company. Thanks BBB! I would highly recommend BBB. They kept me in the loop by regular e-mail updates. I also called and they were very pleasant to deal with. I decided to repeal my complaint and the person I spoke to told me to make sure I didnt feel pressuered to do that.

BBB west palm beach delivered! I had an issue with a local business based in West Palm Beach and posted a complaint on BBB. Immediately I received a response from the business who is suddenly interested in addressing my concern (whereas previously without BBBs involvement, the customer service in this business practically yelled at me on the phone) with a drastic change in attitude. They do a phenomenal job. Had back to back issues with a shady family run dealerships in coconut creek. In both instances they got a resolution in 48 hours. Would recommend using them instead of banging your head against the wall trying to deal with these companies.
Ill make this short and sweet. I had an issue with a business and what they charged me. After a couple of emails, I did not receive an acceptable response, so I contacted the BBB. With that extra motivation, the business deemed it worthwhile to answer my query. It was a tax based on a new law. I had a really bad experience with an air conditioning, installation company, and as a last resort filled a complaint with the BBB. I never thought I would actually hear from the BBB, but to my surprise, I received a phone call from an actual human willing to help. BBB followed up with the company I was dealing with, and although there was no satisfactory resolution to my complaint, it wasnt for lack of trying on behalf of the BBB.I would definitely recommend the good folks at BBB. I have been relying on the BBB for decades. One thing I can always depend on is exceptional service. They guide you on what to expect on their end and what they expect from you as the consumer. The BBB has always been quick and efficient about contacting the merchant youre in dispute with. Ive dealt with Consumer Affairs before and there is no comparison. Thats why I depend on them for info about other businesses they have encountered to determine if I want to do business with them or not. If the business is not BBB accredited, Im very reluctant to do business with them.
In my recent experience with our home insurance company, I must compliment the BBB on everything they did to help. They stayed right on top of things from day one even though the insurance company chose to ignore the facts. We could have lost our home due to the ignorance of the insurance company BUT the BBB took care of it all & made sure we remained safe. I was unable to get a completion date for my roof which was started 6 months previously. I complained to BBB and the roofer contacted me the next day and completed the roof the following week.

We had a very serious issue with Parking Management of fort Lauderdale we had 2 hours left on our meter and the meter maid wrote us a $40 ticket on top of the $30 parking fee. We wrote the BBB about the incident after several attempts trying to contact the parking company they stepped in and within 3 days the tickets was voided out. I was having great difficulty with the return of a bed that promised if I wasn’t satisfied I could return it. After much back and forth between the company and I, I contacted the Better Business Bureau with my complaint because the merchant had stopped responding at this point. They contacted the merchant on my behalf and within weeks the matter was resolved and all financial matters fully satisfied. I am so grateful for the intervention of the Better Business Bureau on my behalf they saved me a lot of money and discomfort. If you are having difficulty give them a call. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because of the speed in which the BBB handled my claim. However my result was far from satisfactory as I was unable to achieve the desired results I had filed my claim for. I was seeking a refund of all airline costs from Spirit Airlines due to a Spring Break trip that had to be cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. Spirit refuses to refund my money and only issued travel vouchers for the amount. It appears that Spirit Airlines has no regards to the safety and health of its passengers and only cares about the almighty dollar. I appreciate the effort that the BBB has put forth and highly recommend them for any disputes that you need to file. It is unfortunate that Spirit Airlines only cares about themselves and not the customer.
I reached out to the Better Business Bureau to help me resolve an issue I had with a local animal hospital. Within a few days the dispute was resolved. I tried to resolve the issue on my own but had no success and as soon as I contacted the BBB, the matter was resolved.
The BBB addressed all my concerns quickly and were instrumental in getting the company I complained about to pay restitution way above my expectations! This is an extremely viable solution to get your complaints heard! I highly recommend it. Ty BBB

I have registered complaint against the warranty company and the team here did an excellent job in passing the same to the concerned company and help in resolving the issue. Registering the complaint, checking the status, adding more details/follow up conversation all was done seamlessly .

I had a very positive experience with the Better Business Bureau. Their professionalism and drive towards a resolution provided a great level of confidence. In an environment full of questionable contractors and costly lawyers, it was very comforting, as a consumer, to be able to count on the BBB’s weight, reputation and market reach to motivate a contractor to fulfill his obligations.
BBB helped us with our complaint with Florida Home Improvement Associates by having them finally having them contact us to resolve a problem with the roof they installed on our home. FLIA did finally repair the leak but caused a lot of damage to our home doing it. They have not repaired the damage and will not return our phone calls once again. Terrible company to do business with.
BBB is the best option to solve any dispute or abuse you can have. They really take care seriously every case. Excellent!!
I had an issue with Inspire Uplift LLC in January. They (Inspire Uplift) were unresponsive to my ask in resolving the issues. For the first time in my life I had to file a complaint with the BBB. The BBB was awesome in helping me get the issue resolved in April. I would highly recommend using the BBB if you are not receiving the resolution from the company. I specifically as the BBB to give this company a blemish on their record. The response from the company to me was vague and not helpful; they gave the BBB the same answer.If you find yourself in a situation where you are not getting a resolution from the company, I would recommend the BBB in a NY second!Thank you BBB for helping me get a refund.
I am writing on behalf of my mother, Patti Hickman, to give thanks and recognition to the BBB. She spent hours and days and minutes/data attempting to resolve an issue with Straight Talk where she was only being taken in circles, no real responses, and continually being put on hold by the company. My mother was put out by recommendations of Straight Talk of not one payment but 3 totally over $150. To some, this is minute, but to a person with limited income, such as she, is a fortune and the difference in payment of en electricity bill. She sent in all receipts, Sim Cards, etc as requested, and even so, did not receive a response of resolution. Tears of frustration were shed after hours of phone calls, disconnections, and no response. Once, my mother contacted the BBB, this issue was taken care of almost IMMEDIATELY with nearly a full refund. I can say my mother was relieved and so thankful for the service of the BBB. With much appreciation, I too thank them.
I was pleased with BBB Prompt response to my complaint. I purchased a car from a dealership which over charged me and did not provide a copy of the contract the same day I drove home with the car. I reached out to the dealership for clarification which was to no avail. I contacted the BBB within 4 days the issue was resolved. I am satisfied with the final cost of the car and received my copy of the contract. Again, thank you BBB for your help and your prompt response. Keep up the good work!!
After more than five months, calling more than ten times, sending emails, talking to supervisors etc. and obtaining no answer from CITY FURNITURE about an item missing of a sofa ordered and delivered on February, I contacted BBB. Three days after Fedex was knocking at my door. What I was unable to obtain in more than five months, BBB had it done in three days. No need to add any more comments.
BBB helped me resolve a recent problem with SIW windows where over promising and under delivering were the norm and exasperated by lack of response. However within days of receipt of my complaint I was contacted by management with what appears to be a favorable outcome and a continuing commitment to good customer relations.Thanks to BBB a problem was resolved
