What started out as a negative experience on a Friday evening, ended with a positive the following morning. My sons haircut was horrible but after reaching out to the owner, the wrong was made right despite the fact that he himself is going through a lot. That speaks volume and character. Thats what great customer service looks like. He corrected that haircut so well, my son was happy and we are beyond pleased. If you ever encounter a negative situation, reach out to the owner. Best barbershop in the palm beaches hands down!! Jonathan was my first barber when I moved to West Palm Beach over 13 years ago. And he’s still my barber to this day. If you want the best haircut then Trendsetters barbershop is the only place to go.

This was the worst shape up/fade I received in years! I have locs and only needed the sides cut down. The barber I think was Los and he patched one side of my head and its super uneven with the other side. Its growing back sooo patchy on my right side (my hair never done this with my barber who was unavailable); it looks horrible. Im upset to the point of posting a review. When it was first cut, it was faded so I couldnt tell how bad of a job it was, but as it grew in I realized the fade was very un professional, and uneven. Now I am basing this review from the service with that barber, cant speak for the whole shop (one guy with one long loc was doing designs and I wish I would of went to him because his worked looked great) but I paid $30 for a shape up with beard and I regret it. I would never go there again based off of my first experience; this is close to my house but Im willing to drive to another town/city if I have to for quality. Very disappointed

I go to see Jamie at Trendsetters every 3 weeks and he always cuts me up right. I simply text him the mornings that I want to come in, and he confirms the time hes available. Not much wait time at all. Jamie is great with fades & cares about his clients. Im always satisfied when I leave Trendsetters. Its a great shop and all the barbers are good people. Barbershop was good until they started hiring new kids fresh out of nowhere, cause it couldn’t be barber school. Denzel is the sorriest barber in there. Shouldn’t even be cutting on humans yet. You could tell he was new and didn’t really know what he was doing, and other people who had appointments were choosing to wait over 1+ hour to get a cut rather than go to his empty chair. Always avoid the barber who looks bored.

18 years ago when I was a kid in culinary school I had just moved to wpb I was looking for a place to get my haircut I went into a barber shop and all the barbers ignored me, I sat there for a least 20 mins then this one really young barber in the shop named Jay noticed me and asked me if anyone was helping me, he immediately got me in his chair and gave me the best haircut I had ever got. It’s no wonder he opened his own shop. He is the only barber that has cut my hair for 18 years and for the better of the decade he has owned this fantastic, clean, professional and welcoming shop with a shared genuine camaraderie amongst everyone that works there.

Went to walk in at 4:45 and the doors were locked. Looked inside and two guys were cutting hair but they sent me away. I wouldnt of wasted my time if I knew they were gonna send me away. Ill take my business else where from now on. Hours on the door even say closed at 6pm.

Great barbershop with a great atmosphere. Barbers are funny and the conversations can be lively. My barber Jaime does a great fade and the reason I drive 20/30 mins out of my way to go here.

Husband and I sat here for hours for someone to give him a haircut and he still havent received one. Over five people came in after him and received a clean cut before him. We made a appointmet for the next day and the barber forgot and allowed another customer who also came in after him be seated for a cut first.

Most painful experience, literally! First, lets start with the fact I went here for a haircut and was given a shave + haircut. The stylist already started before I could stop him so he obviously had to continue. He used trimmers, yes like the ones for your sideburns, to shave my entire face going with and against the grain. He did not use any shaving gel/cream and at some points it was actually ripping my hairs off my face. After this, he finished up with an electric razor and a spray bottle filled with alcohol to squirt my face. Yeah, that happened. My face was burning the rest of the day and my skin was completely red. Id like to say the haircut was at least decent but not only did he refuse to use scissors (only clippers), I found out later that he missed an entire spot on the back of my head. The other reviews about the inappropriate language are also accurate but Im not going into that here. I absolutely wholeheartedly do not recommend this place.

No lie, this Barber Shop has that vibe of the Barber Shop movie with Ice Cube. Everyone is chill, place is clean, they have TVs inside of the barber shop with sport channels in the background, barbers are nice/respectful and best of all they give really good hair cuts.A cut is around $20 dollars (I think), but mine was $25 since I gave the barber a tip and I think they only accept cash but I could be wrong.I cant come here as much due to the drive, but I would come here every month for a cut.

I had a Very Aweful and unprofessional experience by a short heavy set black guy who cut my boys hair and actually had one of my boys in tears from him scrubbing the clippers in his head. One of my boys had a little gash on his head. My boys are 4 and 9 years old, and out of all of the barbershop theyve been to, this was the very first time my boys complained and said that a barber was hurting them. One of my boys actually had tears in his eyes. My 4 year old actually told him it was hurting, and he responded back that it didnt hurt. The barber didnt listen, but continued to be nonchalant, talkative, and careless. If youre taking your children to get their haircuts there, get another barber in the shop and not him. Youll know him because hes Extremely Talkative, Lazy, and Nonchalant.

Not a good atmosphere. Unprofessional at best. There is no appointment system that is respected. There seems to be no shop manager in sight. If your a coon or dont really mind how your hair cuts come out then this is the place for you., other then that Id steer clear. Youll wait and be passes by barbers friends and or family.

I stopped into the shop earlier this week and had a terrible experience. Not only did I have to wait an hour for a simple edge but the barbers openly joked about how they didnt have time for walk-ins and had no interest in making time for them. Then when I did finally get to a barber Mr.Biggz just walked off on a phone call and left me in the chair for a solid 10 minutes. Never apologized for the delay when he returned. Lastly, when I called earlier in the day, I was told an edge would cost $7 however, Mr.Biggz charged me $10! I certainly will not be returning to this shop after this experience! There are many other places in the West Palm Beach area that I can go and have a better experience.

Had a coupon for a free hair cut so decided to check it out, worst place on earth. All the barbers were out front cursing and talking about drugs and fighting, then went in and the one guy in there told me to go back out and tell them I needed a haircut. Most unpleasant and scummy business I have ever been to. Couldnt even give away a free haircut.

I called in the afternoon to ask if they were open and I was told there would be a spot in 3 hours which I knew was a lie, what barber has the space in a shop to be busy for that long yet I said ok no problem and came earlier than 3 hours and was told they would be full until 6. I left and came before 6 and was told young man Im not cuttin no more hair, Im tryna get out of here. Biggest joke of a place run by ignorant blacks who give my skin color a bad name. Dis program doesnt allow me to give 0 stars so I gagged at even giving them 1 star.

Shop says they close at 6. I walk in at 445 and the guy tells me there not talking more. I was the only customer in there. I suggest you change your posted hours to closing at 5 if you get too lazy to cut hair at the end of the day.
