Dont ignore the negative reviews. He quoted $310 for a job and then said there were broken bolts that he needed to take out. I asked what it would cost, but he would not give me a price. He then put it back together without removing the broken bolts and said it would cost $513.60. When I questioned the price, but told him I would pay him what he thought was a fair price, he became agitated and refused to let me pay by credit card as we had agreed. After all, he was charging me for $170 labor for a job that he did not successfully complete. This was after telling me that the bolts could have broken when he was doing the original repair. He held the car hostage until he received cash. He also made verbal references to violence and appeared very erratic and unstable, even when trying to pay him with cash.I had to call the police to make sure he followed through, released the car and did not become violent. Do not take your car to this man. If there were a lower rating available, I would have given it and this is the only online negative review I have written to date.

Excellent price, no nonsense service. We need more mechanics like this in our area.I literally just got my brakes from Jon yesterday....After sounding like it was straight metal on metal before bringing it in, theres now nomore grinding, excellent braking power, etc. Knowing quite a few mechanics, I truly do appreciate when I find one that does good work.Probably my favorite part about dealing with Jon was how reasonable he is. I had another garage try charging me $850 to replace front+rear brake pads with the rotors.Jon had me set with parts and labor at $385.I originally chose to do business with Jon due to other solid reviews from previous clients of his.Safe to say, Im more then happy with my decision to go with Jons and I dont think Ill be going to another mechanic. If youre having problems and you wanna cut out the nonsense and get it done right and for a cheap price, this is your guy.

Fair price, personable, no pressure. Jon drove me to work when I dropped off my vehicle and picked up when it was done and answered all my questions. Overall positive experience. I would recommend him to a friend.

Jons Auto was there when I needed a miracle. After talking to previous mechanic about my truck when the spark plug blew out of the engine. I thought I would have to start looking for a new truck based of some of the quotes they gave me to get it fixed. The cost would have been in the thousands of dollars. When Jon heard of it he immediately let me know that this was a problem hes dealt with before and it wouldnt cost no where near what they were telling me. Well sure enough Jon had my truck fixed the next day for a very reasonable price. Since then Ive been using Jon for all my repair and maintenance needs. I like the way Jon listened and took charge of the repairs I needed and all while keeping the cost down. My Ford F150 is doing Great !!!

Got nothing but combativeness at every question I asked, as if they did not want my business. I was shopping for an engine appraisal by phone and a friend of mine gave me the phone number, who doesnt know this guy personally but was told they were good by a third party, said I should check it out - when I asked where they were located, I was basically ridiculed and made to feel foolish by not already knowing the exact location. I was scanning the website I had just found on Google at the moment we were talking, and when I mentioned that, this guy hung up on me. If the actual service is as bad as the customer service before you even get your car there - forget it - terrible. Every time I asked even the most simple questions about the procedures involved, I was just rudely told was the price. May be a really good mechanic, but seems like jerk - or maybe I caught him on a bad day, who knows - pass on this place.

I heard about Jon through family members that had been taking their cars to him for years. Jon saved me twice! First, I had taken my car to Acura because of noise I heard in my suspension. I was told it was engine mounts. (2300.00) I shelled out! The noise never went away then I was told I needed stuts, ball joints, and boots. (1500.00). I refused to get the service done and told Acura I was going to get a second opinion. I brought my car to Jon, immediately he looked at the car and said I didnt need any of what Acura told me I needed. He told me I need sway bar links (150.00). He said he would order them and put them in the next day. I was curious about the engine mounts and I asked Jon how much would the engine mounts of been if I had gone through him. He looked it up on the computer and showed me the estimate of (627.00) out the door! I almost fainted because Acura had just ripped me off completely... Jon installed my part in the car and my car and the noise was gone and it didnt feel like my tires were going to fall off anymore. The second time he saved me was when I was looking for a car to buy. I called him up and asked him if he could take a look at a car for me. He said no problem and drove 35 minutes to where I was. Needless to say, I was looking at a rust bucket that had been in an accident and was leaking in all the wrong places. Phew... Another close one!!! I trust Jon fully and you can tell he loves what he does. I will take all my cars to him and tell all my friends too. Im 100% that you will love Jon too! Sincerly, happy happy happy
