They picked up my ride on Ryobi electric mower that had an uneven cut. Returned it in a week with no fuss. I waited 3+ weeks before leaving this review to make sure there were no issues.

Good experience. brought in my lawnmower when it stopped working and they got it up and running. would use again.

I dropped my Echo leafblower there to diagnose why it would not start. I had rebuilt the carb and it did not start. I then replaced the carb and it still would not start. The machine has compression and spark. I left them the leafblower with the old carb in a plastic bag and the new carb on the machine and asked them to get it running. They charged me $40 to diagnose the problem. They said I needed a new carb and would cost me $73 plus the $40 to diagnose. I told them no, I would pick up the machine. This is a brand new carb after all, and I am not going to buy another new carb. And I can buy a new Echo blower for $150 at Home Depot. So I get home, I notice they did not give me back my old carb. I tried to start it and I was able to get it started but not able to keep it running. I think it just needs tuning at this point, and I sure would have liked to have gotten my old carb back. I tired of fooling with it, I bought a new Echo machine and will give the one away. I do not feel they put much effort into helping me, and I will be wary to take them anything else to diagnose in the future.

I wish I cloud give them 0 stars! They don’t know what they’re doing! They just want to take your money. Took my compressor to get fixed a month ago and they make it seem like something was wrong with it when the had it on the wrong psi! Then want to charge me $100 more

Had our pressure washer dropped for them to look at and give me an estimate paid $30 and same day called me guy there name Mike said he thinks it’s the pump I said it’s putting very good pressure and I asked did you even check the trigger and never called me back so I called then Mike and Frank said it’s the plumbing... obviously they ripped me off of $30 to just give me their opinion and never really checked what’s wrong with my machine never even give me an estimate because they never really check... becareful with this people

Spoke with the front desk lady over the phone and she was super prompt and very knowledgeable about my situation with my generator. Very impressed with all the help they gave me. Will definitely be using them for all my small engine repair needs! Thanks guys!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Came here picked up my lawn mower Feb 20th and the lawnmower did not work when I got home. Have been quarentined since due to covid 19 and finally came in once the state started opening up again and the guy said he cant do anything cuz of the time. They did not fix it and stole my 95 dollars and would not do anything and told me he didnt really want to do anything for me because I was going to be unhappy no matter what he does. This shop is very sorry no room to move and steals peoples money that they worked hard for. Its a real shame they take advantage of people like this in these troubling times when people lose their jobs and have no money to pay for anything. Do not come to this shop they will treat you like dirtUpdate got someone who fixed and made it brand new for $20. Please dont go here people they just want your money regardless if they fix it or not. Horrible people for sure with no concern for other people. Shame on them

Dropped off a couple of tools for repair, we received a call that one was ready, when I arrived to pick up, they couldn’t find it. They are promising a replacement, yet still hasn’t ordered it. This tool is used for work, and I can not afford to buy another. I truly hope they keep their word and replace the items that was lost or stolen while in their care. We have used them for years, and now I’m without 2 tools, that should’ve been repaired and returned to us in a timely manner. Sure hope Bill Rogers keeps his word, after all, that is all we have. Our integrity!

Brought my new Cub Cadet tractor for transmission linkage and headlight repair under warranty. When I returned weeks later to picked up my tractor, I was disappointed that my tractor’s battery was dead. When I remarked to the two assisting workers, I was disappointed with their response. I figured I was stuck having to buy a new battery because of their lack of care... The next day, I received a phone call fromMr. Bill Rogers; the owner...Bill enquired of my experience at Rogers Engine. I informed Bill that although all the warranty work had be done appropriately, I was left with a dead battery. Bill listened patiently to my complaint. He was very apologetic and said he would get me a brand new battery at no charge!That Bill Rogers would personally reach out to customers, I for one found this refreshing in today’s business climate! With over 50 years in business, Roger Engines is an institution in Palm Beach County. It definitely appears that customer satisfaction at Roger Engine is “job one.”Thank you Bill!

TERRIBLE! We brought in our mower for a repair, paid a $30 fee. They told us that it would be a few days for it to be repaired. This was on a Monday. I call a few days later to check the status, they had not even looked at it, and told me the mechanic was sick. Thursday they give us a quote, another week goes by, and excuse after excuse. Called again last week, and told us it would be ready end of the week. Today called, and they said the part hasnt arrived yet! This is absolutely ridiculous! Went to pick up the mower, it was in pieces, and nothing done. The staff was all standing around with mowers that needed to be repaired. Stay away from this place. I wish I would have read the reviews before I took it here, it was just a convenient location. If they keep doing this to customers I am sure it wont be around much longer. Awful customer service!!

We have used for parts and recommended Rogers Engines for years to our customers who have smaller items such as pressure washers, edgers, weedeaters. The owner strives to get and keep good mechanics. They charge a minimal fee for estimates and are an honest establishment.

I purchased an old Ridgid drill at a yard sale. I went to use it on a home project and found it not working. We were having a new hot water tank installed and I asked the plumber about it and he said that all his tools were repaired at Rogers Engines in West Palm Beach.I really dont know much about tools. When I went to the shop, I was greeted warmly, asked what the problem was and told them I had no idea! They explained their policy and how this drill had seen a lot of use, and was more wear and tear than a manufacturer defect, it wouldnt covered by a warrantee . The fee to check it out was $20 then if I wanted it repaired, that would be credited. The estimate was good, I agreed and it was returned both working properly and clean. When I was leaving, I was asked if I wanted the old parts back - I declined and left a very satisfied customer.

Please be aware!! This people would not alert you of $20 charge for just looking if a product is under warranty. The owner, has some mental issues, he does not provide good customer service, yield at people and he is not clear and transparent when doing transactions. Go to another business instead, and avoid bad treatment and bad customer service. Good luck.

Drove 20 miles to Rogers Engines on Monday, 11/10/14 with a Simpson Pressure Cleaner as I was advised by Simpson Cleaning Company that they fix Honda engines, if they are under warranty. The cleaner was not under warranty and I asked how long it would take to get fixed. I was advised when they had a full crew, and it would probably be Wednesday. I left a $20 cash deposit and requested to be called with an estimate before fixing. This is stated on my invoice. I called twice on Wednesday and was told it was being looked at. I again stated that I was on a deadline since we were getting our house painted the following Monday. I was told that it usually takes a week before they look at it. If that were the case I would not have left it. I called again on Thursday and was given the same answer, still being looked at. I was completely frustrated at this point and told them to put it back together and I would pick it up at 4:00 pm. I received a phone call at 3:00 pm stating it was done and ready for pick up. I arrived at Rogers Engines and was told the bill was $34.59 (which did not include the $20 deposit). I advised that I requested an estimate before fixing it and was told it was an hour labor, a quart of oil (which was all over the entire cleaner) a new spark plug and shop supplies. This was totally unacceptable and no way to conduct business. At this point I was not going to get my pressure cleaner back without paying. The next day (Friday) we went to start the pressure cleaner and it would not start. In checking it over, I noticed that when they put it back together they put the choke pin in backwards, and now there was gas in the oil. I called Rogers Engines and asked to speak to a Manager, who was not available. I spoke to Mike and advised him of the situation and requested our $55 back. He stated that it was like that because they were rushed and there would be no refund. I advised him we didnt bring it in like that and he hung up on me. The invoice states Cleaned Carb and Service. We had to make other arrangements to pressure clean and now have a pressure cleaner that no longer works. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORKMANSHIP. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I brought my Lincoln generator here, they received it and charged me the 50 dollar deposit. No problem. They called and told me they could not repair the generator and I came to pick it up and they tell me I cant have my deposit back.What the heck. Owner unreachable.

These guys ripped me off. Brought in my blower which was under warranty for a simple fix. They held it hostage for $50 (you can buy a new one for $65!), it was supposed to cost nothing. Then it didnt even work! Very lousy service. Do not go here.

Do not use these guys unless you absolutely have to. They strung me along for MONTHS waiting for a part to come in only to find out the mower had been fixed for a few weeks.

I would rate them zero if I could, I took my rigid miter saw there because it stopped working, they charged me $30 deposit and said I should have a call in 2 days to let me know what the problem was, they never called me so I called them after 2 weeks, they said the problem was the brushes and fix it without ask me first and charged me a total of $57, (I know the brushes cost $6 but it is ok), when I was ready to use this tool, it sounded like it was going to explode so I took it back to this place, their answer was that the problem is the motor but they just fix the brushes to SAVE ME MONEY they said and make it work temporary, the fact is that I ended up losing my $57 bucks because the tool works for 2 days, this place sucks.
