Had a wonky iPad, refused to load. Dropped it off with Eric because my experience with some others around the area was so so at best. Eric had it ready the next day. I first visited the West Linn location back in April to buy a tablet. Since then Ive gone back to buy my daughter a cell phone and a laptop for my parents. My laptop broke during the covid madness a few days before my online classes were to start and they were really nice and got it repaired quickly! There was a diagnostics fee of $120 and to replace my motherboard (on a mac) it was around $270. It took about a week to hear back after the initial diagnosis and then another two days to finally have it repaired. It’s been a couple weeks since then and no further problems have come up! :)

My 12 year old iMac was slowly dying so I decided to get a new hard drive installed. When they checked it they said they could install a new hard drive; however, the problem was that everything else in the computer would still be 12 years old and it would be better to up-grade to a rebuilt computer or buy a new one. I chose one of their rebuilt computers that has a better hard drive(digital) then what I would get in buying a new one from Best Buy, Costco, etc. and it was half the price of a new one. This is one of the first messages Ive typed and I really like the computer, the mouse and the key board. Plus they are always there and they will help you out with problems that are usually operator error and not a computer error.

Once again Eric gave me invaluable advice and fixed my iPhone battery and screen at a very reasonable price. Been dealing with him & Dan for two + years and always come away satisfied.Bill G.

I want to revise my review My computer worked fine for a short time. It has given me problems continually. He should have never just fixed my old computer but told me that my system was going to be obsolete a year later and I needed to update it. Im in the process of updating it I had a problem with my computer and took it to CompRite at 12036 SE Sunnyside, Happy Valley, OR. The owner was amazing. They fixed my computer within 24 hours at a very fair price. He replaced my hard drive with a digital one and did not lose any of my information, cleaned it, then he left the old hard drive as an external memory after making sure it had no problems. When I brought my computer home, I was having a difficult time reconnecting it and they called their location here at 20145 Salamo Rd., West Linn, and Eric came and connected my computer. He was so nice and helpful. They sell Cell Phones at incredible prices too. Their computer repair prices are also amazing. If you ever have problems with your computer, either the West Linn location or Happy Valley Locations will do an amazing job at an incredibly great price. Pretty good repair place, also has some budget gaming pc parts. Repair time is very reasonable and havent had a bad experience going in or out.

When I went to CompRite today, I was pretty bummed out, because my cell phone stopped working without real explanation. I could not receive texts or phone messages and could not turn the phone off. The guy working at the counter immediately knew what to do and took care of the problem on the spot. No charge! If there were more individuals like the guy CompRite had the common sense to hire and retain, there would be a lot of customer service trainers like myself out of business! I highly recommend this company to those individuals who are fed up with poor customer service and are in need of a meaningful customer-centric experience .

I deleted my old review from 5 years ago to update it and say love this place in the last 5 years I have taken 2 laptops and desktop and a few other things to this place and every time they have been great. I called CompRite because my computer crashed and I couldn’t get it to work no matter what I did. I had pictures and files from years back that I didn’t want to loose. I talked to Eric and he was able to fix my computer, recover all the files and pictures, do upgrades on my computer and it’s working better then before. I very highly recommend this place.I found it when I was looking on yelp for a LCD SCREEN repair place. They fixed my problem and were very friendly and very knowledgeable . I just today got back my Mac book AIR that I shorted out the keyboard with WATER. They replaced my toasted touch pad and key board as well as the replaced the RIBBON CABLE that was bulging and barely worked.Thanks to COMPRITE, I have new life in my machine. I love this place, i have only come by twice so far, once to get my phone repaired and then a little later to do a manual clean up because my computer was running a little slow. It is a real breeze working with these guys they really do take care of you!

Great service!!!I came in to get my iPhone 5 screen replaced I asked them how long it would take. They said about an hour! I was surprised that they would be able to get it done so fast! I left my phone with them and came back in about 40 mins and I was shocked to see my phone looking so new! Giving them a 5 star rating because they exceeded my expectations!

Visited for the first time today and was very pleased. My son had dropped his iPhone, damaging the LCD display and leaving in unable to be used. acute technology withdrawal for a 14 year old! They ran diagnostics on it, and replaced the screen within an hour, and for $40 less than the Apple Store.They offer a 60 day warranty if the problem reoccurs.I dealt with Eric, who was very helpful and professional. He also suggested a more durable tempered glass screen protector, to hopefully minimize any further mishaps!I highly recommend this shop!

This time I brought in my 27 iMac and the screen wouldnt come on, Paul helped me and advised me the graphics card is completely shot and replacing it with a 2nd hand card wouldnt be worth it. (because theyre discontinued and have the same chance of failing again)He explained apple had a recall on these cards and even advised me Im better off spending my money towards a new device.He couldve easily talked me into spending money on repairs. But instead gave me the honest truth.Ive also had CompRite replace numerous iPhone screens because Im super clumsy and refuse to use a case.The quality on the screens arent China made. They are OE replacements and all the features work. Ie- 3d touchWill repeat business with such an honest mom and pop shop. Best people to bring your electronics.

Awesome!! Just yesterday I dropped my S4 and the glass broke, ugh! I looked up on Google maps and found this place deciding I didnt want the challenge of repairing it myself. Repairs completed in an hour replacing the glass. For good measure I had tempered glass added rather than the usual film Ive used in the past over the phone screen and an Otterbox case.

Took my sons iPad 4, which got run over by a golf cart (long story), and had the front and back glass cracked. The Comprite shop was able to repair it and bring it back to full functionality within a few hours. The went beyond the simple glass replacement and replaced the button and threw in a jell protective case. Nice people, good work. Would recommend them to my friends.Simply best place to fix all kind of GADGETS!!!100% recommended. !!!

Due to my lack of computer savvy, I some how deleted some very important documents off of my I-Mac. Injury to insult, I went on line and downloaded some software to remedy the situation which turned out in reality to be ransomware. Knowing my Data was encrypted, I thought I was a goner but Alana at Fixoid was very helpful in the management of this crisis and some how Olag, their computer wizard, retrieved over 70% of the Data lost and above and beyond this, I was able to retrieve every single page of the critical records and data that I thought were toast...and ...my I-Mac has now been debugged and runs like a top. One of the best Apple techs Ive come across.

Way over priced for services offered. Charge labor charge $70 full hour on even on a 5 minute job. Ridiculous I get you need to pay a fair price of the tecs skills but $50 for an iPhone 4senbattery and 70 ok n the install plus 30 diagnostic so.50 bucks. They are not apple service center I ask y si much was told thats what apple charges.. they are not apple. Another a used laptop they have for sale for almost doubble a new one of the make mode memory asked 2hy so much answer we upgrade the hard drive fron a 500 gig traditional one has moving parts kind to 320gig ssd drive that sells on new egg for about 110 buckslaws like what??.? Raise the price of a student level used laptop by 650.00 dollars. DOLLARS TO UP GRADE A SSD DRIVE. I try to shop local and Ive given them 3 chances but 3 sticks and bnb your out. Will not be going back period. And I dont see them lasting too much longer there al ready swapped ie down sized their store to one about a 1/3rd of the sized and from prime triple A plus location toOne off the beaten path.. having 2 tecs CV on duty to one. Its located right in one of the more affluent neighbor hoods but you have to stop and think do we live here because we are stupid or we kinda have a little bit of an idea how thing work and what the price point should BE. My Samsung Galaxy had better reception with the cracked screen. They fixed the cracked screen and ruined the reception. No longer have reception at my moms house. My fiance has a Samsung Galaxy that she purchased same time as me and when she has reception of -81, I have -118. Huge difference. This was the Comprite in Happy Valley. Good luck. They get 5 stars for being nice. 1 star for ruining my phone. I paid over $100 for lousy reception.

Came in here to get my iPhone fixed. I went to Apple and they didnt even bother fixing it because they didnt know if it was fixable.I looked up IPhone repair in my area and CompRite was the first location to pop up.I read the reviews and went right on in.I didnt have to wait in line like I did at the Apple Store. I was greeted warmly by an employee; I left my phone there for about an hour (maybe even less) and it was done! Like nothing ever even happened to it! All my data was exactly where I last left it, and it was in amazing condition. I want to thank CompRite for their Amazong service because now a days its hard to find. CompRite IS THE BEST PLACE to get your computer or other electronics back to perfection! I cracked my screen and I had to reprogram my computer because it was so slow, and they fixed everything for me in such a timely manner! I am a college student, and it was essential that I get this fixed ASAP! They were so attentive and detail-oriented and provided the best care to me. They even gave me a free internet connector/adapter for my computer just in case the wifi failed at my house. Friendly, professional, and fast- you cant get any better than that. They are a total ripoff! I just paid 39.98 for two USB A to B cables that I would have paid $8 for on Newegg or Amazon. The person working there was nice, but HORRIBLE prices!

Check all the reviews not a single bad review, so went to the West Linn CompRite Store. Great price, and the tech seemed nice & knowledgeable and said my cell phone screens would be replaced in a week. Called to see how things were going after four days just checking in. Tech was rude saying he wanted to have fun on a Holiday weekend too, and the phones would not be done til the end of the next week. I had to remind him I was not in a hurry just wanted the phones fixed right, and was just calling for an update. Both phones were not fixed at good quality. One was actually held for another week and a half, so tech could replace a part he broke for free. Still ok with this, but when I checked my phone screen it was loose & the phone was clearly pried open & scratched up, and the touch screen is now glitchy and randomly doesnt work or work incorrectly. The second phone was replaced with a part the was clearly not the correct part for the phone, but luckily we got our cell phone company to send a replacement. I could have dealt with the rude comment from tech, and even the extra time it took to get done, but not the shooty work will never return or refer customers to this shop... Id give this shop a negative star if I could!

Wanted to say BIG THANK YOU for your work. I brought my old sony desk top computer last tusday (jan.1, 2015) which was infected with the FBI Virus. You guys did a great job, updating my computer from old Windows XP to Windows 7, backed-up my old files and re-installed them back. Thanks to you, my old computer works much better now. Went in for an iMac memory upgrade. They ordered the memory and installed it on schedule, at a very reasonable price, and it now runs like a brand new machine.
