My ten year old son recently finished the Brainworks program and we had great results. It was a rough time to do it because it also coincided with the closing of the schools and homeschool life for three months of it. We thought about quitting during that time because it was so challenging doing homeschool and Brainworks, but I’m so glad we stuck with it. The owner, Andrew, is awesome and always easy to contact and willing to help. He is personable and cares about every child. Andrew places each child with a trainer that will be a perfect fit for them. My son was placed with Travis and Monique, both who were amazing and so perfect for my son. When we were thinking about quitting, I talked to Travis and Monique who were so supportive and gave me tools to get through it. My son improved by about two grade levels in Reading, Math, and Spelling by doing the program. He has the same teacher now that he had for second grade and she said she could see a major improvement with his focus and tools he utilizes when he is stuck on something. She said he no longer just gives up but tries to break it down into smaller pieces to figure it out which is a lot of what Brainworks teaches. It was amazing watching the things he could do in the Brainworks program. It’s stuff most adults couldn’t do and no way could he have done it at the beginning but by the end, he was mastering. I am so grateful for the Brainworks team and their support and love of my son. They helped both of us, not only with focus, and scholastic abilities, but with real life skills. It is a lot of work, time, and dedication, but it is so worth it once you get through it. Thank you Andrew, Travis, and Monique.

I’ve been waiting anxiously for my sons report card since completing Brainworks earlier this year. I have been so thrilled with our results. It wasn’t easy or inexpensive but it was really worth the time and effort & I would do it all over again. My son had great results and we are so glad we did the program. Special thanks to Katie and Andrew & Bella. His grades improved dramatically but more importantly, he has a much easier time staying focused and organized which has helped with his self confidence too. I highly recommend the program.

My daughter has struggled in school since preschool. At first we attributed it to her age, even though she always acted older than her age and seemed more than capable, but retaining information came really hard to her. When Kindergarten came, she fell more behind, despite the generous time we dedicated each day to work on what they were learning in class. At the end of the year, she still could not name a few of the letters or tell you their sounds and this was the second year of her learning them. In first grade, she fell farther behind still. We worked at home everyday on math and spelling. I would pick two of her addition flash cards and show her one after the other, over and over again. It didn’t matter how many times we did it, it was as if she was seeing a new problem each time and she’d have to rework the numbers in her head, never memorizing what the answer was. It was getting frustrating for her and for me. When she started second grade, she was quite a ways behind the rest of the class and it was getting more worrisome. I hated watching her struggle so much over seemingly simple tasks. She would have upwards of two hours of homework most nights because she had been unable to finish assignments during class. Her little sister, a grade under her, flew right by her with reading and with math. Everything came so easily to her without her even trying, that it started really effecting Bailey’s confidence and self-perception. Toward the end of the year, I found out about BrainWorks and had her evaluated. It turns out that she is very left-brained and the channels of communication between the two hemispheres were extremely weak. I learned at that time that my soon-to-be third-grader could not do a simple jumping jack, march in place (or in motion) or follow objects with her eyes without them stuttering. Anything that required both sides of her brain to function at once and communicate one with the other, was nearly impossible for her. It was eye-opening, and this was just the evaluation.I enrolled Bailey in BrainWorks and we started on our long and difficult 6 month journey together. It was hard. Really hard. The tasks assigned to her each week didn’t seem like anything that should be difficult necessarily, but for Bailey they were, and it was exhausting. It was a fight almost every single day to get her to do her exercises the way they needed to be done. I talked to her school teacher and explained that BrainWorks was going to be our priority for the remainder of that year and that we would get to homework if it was doable, but I wasn’t going to overload Bailey. But after only a couple of weeks, she started bringing home spelling tests with “100%” written at the top, or “11/12 correct”. It was incredible. We hadn’t worked on her spelling words at all, and the BrainWorks exercises had nothing to do with academics. It was all just opening up the channels of communication in her brain! Suddenly, exposure to and practice with the spelling words at school was enough for her! You’d think that with such great improvement it would have encouraged Bailey to embrace BrainWorks, but it didn’t. The purpose of the program is to push them far enough to improve, but not so far that they give up completely. So no matter what step we were at, it was going to be really hard and mentally exhausting for Bailey (and for me as her helper). Bailey and I both loved her trainer, Monique, which helped! She was really great with Bailey and understood her so well. She was patient with her and her limitations and she knew how to encourage her to try. She became a good friend to me and has been so willing to continue helping us when we’ve needed it since Bailey “graduated”. This program that Andrew has built is life-changing and everyone would benefit from going through it!Bailey is halfway through third grade now. She does still struggle with some things, but is moving forward and progressing all the time. BrainWorks has blessed her in many ways already, and it will continue to help her throughout her life!

This program was very hard at times and was very tempting to give it, but we didnt. It was very well worth it. My son is in 6th grade and when he was first tested on the program he was on a 3rd grade spelling level and a 4th grade reading level. When he finished the program he finished on a his grade level. His strength is math. When he started the program he was on a 6th grade level and when he finished he ended on an 8th grade level which is exactly what he tested at the end of the school year to start middle school. He loved seeing his trainer Monique every week.  Thank you Brainworks for helping my son improve in so many ways!!
