I had pasta and soup at this restaurant it was good. The price for it all was 20.00. The service was okay. I got one glass of water never got a refill maybe because I was not paying for it. I dont drink soda pop and water is always my go to drink with lemon. I think you have to be more snobby to go to this restaurant. Or of a certain class. I was not impressed.

We went to Archibalds for my Husbands 65th Birthday. What a meal, we started with the fried green tomatoes and onion rings. They are both the best in the West by far! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy! I enjoyed the Chicken Cordon Bleu, it was as beautiful on the plate as it tasted. DELICIOUS!!!!!!!! We asked for a booth inside the silo, they were very accommodating. The ambiance and service was wonderful and the selections for dessert have us planning another trip to Archibalds!

We had a bite to eat here, after a bike ride. The atmosphere is polished and cozy. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food! I had fried avocado slices, which tasted pretty plain until I added the sauce! Things are priced in the mid-range. 10-14$ for most entrees. No photos this time, but I will be sure to grab some on the next visit.P.s. The Rolls are phenomenal!

Archibald’s Wheel Room- Due to Covid-19 restrictions, I ended up having to host two events and picked this as the location of the wedding luncheon. The hosted buffet was a great option and the servings were very large. For a buffet, the food was as expected (not amazing but not terrible). The room is naturally beautiful, and I chose to bring in my own greenery to add to the décor (forgoing the faux flower arraignments they offered). They allow you to bring your own music and plug into the aux, but the sound system for the room is VERY quiet, which is alright for very faint background noise. We tried to use the microphone for a toast and couldn’t get it to work, but due to the small crowd size (40), we could just speak loudly and everyone could hear. For the price, you cannot beat it!

Archibalds has done a really good job with the ambiance of the restaurant, and it appears that the location has been updated. The restaurant is clean and organized, and we found the servers and general employees to be friendly. Unfortunately, the service was lacking, and the food was downright awful. With all of the work thats gone into the location, youd think that the ownership here would place more emphasis on doing what restaurants typically do - focus on creating great meals for their patrons. Archibalds totally missed the mark on the food offerings and service. Its food service at its worst. Take a stroll around Gardner Village and enjoy the sights and shops, but do yourself a favor and and skip on these food offerings ...

The two textures of the fried outside and the soft avocado with the delicious dipping sauce was wonderful. The onion rings as well were wonderful and tasted fresh. All 3 appetizers had sauces that were very complimentary to the dishes. The desserts were outstanding. From seating to exit, the service was impeccable. Water glass was always filled promptly. Very attentive, kind waitress. The rolls with garlic butter looked divine. When I asked for an alternative she was quick with options and the honey wheat was deliciously fulfilling. Loved that the dressing was on the side of my ginger sesame chicken salad. (mandarin oranges and watercress were the perfect texture accessories). I passed on dessert tonight but the selection was incredibly tempting. Always a lovely stroll around Gardner Village... 🐰

We got in a little late, about an hour before closing. And on a busy night. There was a long wait but we decided to stick it out and it was worth it. The restaurant was very clean and the service was fantastic. The main meal was taking a while to come out so they brought by some extra rolls and they were amazing. They have a new herb butter to try on their hot buttery rolls and that was worth the trip alone. My drink never sat dry on the table and the halibut and chips was amazing. The fish was not oily and the batter was crisp and light. We will definetly be back.

Archibalds is a restaurant I go to for comfort food elevated. They are not overly fancy but what they do they do well and with extra cream, sauce, butter and big portion sizes, which is the only way to go for comfort food. My experience this time was no different. It was just me and my two little boys and the waiter and staff were so friendly and patient with my littles. I got the fried green tomatoes, which are legendary for good reason and the lemon artichoke pasta. I wasnt disappointed. I also got their bread pudding with raspberry and white chocolate sauce for dessert...yumm. Nothing but love for this place.

Came here with a group of six people and when the waitress gave us our tab, she said it was too complex to separate it out? Puzzled, we said okay so she split the bill between all six of us, but it wasnt very fair since some people had wine and some didnt. Kind of awkward for us but whatever. Tried the fried green tomato salad, the fried green tomatoes were great but the salad seemed limp and didnt have crisp Romaine lettuce. Disappointed.

I am so grateful to Archibalds Restaurant event staff, especially Autumn, who was able to roll with every complication I threw at her, and Roxanne who did a marvelous job of serving our wedding dinner guests July 23, 2019. The tables were beautifully set, the food perfect and the adequately air-conditioned atmosphere conducive to lively conversations. Our homeward-bound comments centered on how clever we were to have chosen Archibalds for such an important event . . . the combining of two families.

Great service, less than mediocre food and very noisy. We all ordered fish and chips, unusual for me, very fat and unhealthy and it was. Overdone fish and bland English chips. Our server was great, parking on a Saturday was difficult and Archibalds does not take reservations unless the group is 8 or more, hence the loud room, someone’s birthday.

This was our favorite restaurant for years. We looked forward to a visit every few months. Sadly, things changed and moved down hill quickly. Instead of delicious, moist carrot cake it became dry, flavorless, and difficult to eat. Fresh baked potatoes became microwave reheats that I had a hard time digging through. My wife received rancid butter. When I complained we were told that the manager was not working that day and that they would be glad to have someone in authority contact us. I left my phone number with the waitress and no one called. Also we were told that the reason for the change in quality was a change in food suppliers. My wife has been asking me if we should give it one more try and I just have not been able to bring myself to it!!

A 4.2 is about what Archibalds really is, if I could give partial stars, with great tasting food that looks a bit dated. The location, at Gardiner Village, is fun and the decor fitting. The appetizer we got, the fried avacados were spectacular. My wife tried the steak marsala, which in truth was a steak with mushroom brown gravy. Mine was the salmon special, with capers and a white sauce. The flavor of both dishes were superb. The steak was tender and flavor spot on. The salmon was perfectly cooked and blended well with the sauce. The only downside is both plates were very dated looking, more like something I would expect to see of peoples plates when dishes are passed around family style at home. It is time to move out of the 80s Diner plating and move into the current century. Doing so will bring this restaurant over the top.The service was excellent, with our server wonderfully being playful about the idiotic Utah liquor laws. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful.

Good service. Good indoor dining when u want really good old fashion comfort food. I wish they had a lunch menu, because they are large portion- if i remember correctly, most sandwich/burger are 10-14$, entrees aprox 12-15$ but include fries, pasta salad or potato salad. They only have 1 soup choice, during colder weather would be better to have more soup options or half a big salad (like the cobb) with cup of soup. Waiter was efficient and quick, not my favorite as far really great service, but still good. The hostess was very sweet. The parking at gardner village is not optimal any day- but even a 3pm lunch we parked a ways- but if you like to walk around village is great, just keep in mind for those with mobility issues. Their prices have gone up since i was last there a few years ago, but not by much, and they have updated, too. The desserts sound really awesome, so def want to try again.

My wife and I came in tonight to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. We have been to Archibalds several times in the past without issue, but this time was so terrible we wont be back. My wife requested a medium steak. It came to us rare, almost blue. My wife tried it, but sent it back. The brought is a replacement, but it was closer to medium rate than medium. After leaving, we had planned to go for dessert elsewhere, but ended up coming straight home because my wife was sick. After she threw up a few times, she felt immediately better. She wasnt sick before we went to the restaurant. Also, the waitress wasnt rude, but she was curt when we told her it was the wrong temperature and that a medium steak should be a warm pink, not a deep red. It was obviously not the correct temperature. My wife is just nice and doesnt like to send food back. We will never go back there again.

We attended Archibalds one evening during Witchfest. We completely expected a longer wait time and were able to shop in the meantime which was great. When it came time to order, I specified that I would only like the white Alfredo sauce on the ravioli since they mixed both of the red and white sauces. When our food came out it had the mixed sauce, it also says that bread is included in the meal and I did not receive that. Our server didnt bring out the food someone else did so I politely waited for her to come back around to explain the mishap and she never did. With food getting cold I reluctantly decided to eat the mixed sauce. (Not great for the price) when I was nearly half way though the meal our server came to check on us. She noticed it was wrong and asked if I wanted a replacement... being halfway though the meal, I said no. My water was never refilled and besides that one time she never checked on us again until it was time for the check. I asked 3 times for a to-go box before receiving it. Overall an expensive unpleasant experience.
