We had some neighbor boys flood our basement. These guys did our mitigation and restoration and they did quality, fast work.I wish I took pictures of the mitigation part but the before and afters is all I did.Our basement looks better than before the flooding. They matched paint perfectly, and painted more than just the damaged walls. The baseboards look better than they were before, as far as placement and paint. The flooring before had like a half centimeter gap infront of the rock fireplace and they cleaned that up nicely too.The best part was these guys had three crews come out for the restoration part and they finished this project in ONE day. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.When we redo our floors throught the rest of the house we will be using these guys!Thank you Five Point Restoration!!

This company is wonderful! They came out to do a free mold inspection & helped submit photos and proof of mold in my bathroom to my insurance. The mold was making me really sick, and they were able to tear it out quickly and seal everything to prevent further issues.They also did the rebuild & I couldn’t be happier. Ombo and his team did an excellent job. They explained everything in detail, met with me to choose materials and things for the rebuild and worked quickly to get everything put together. I would highly recommend this company for any restoration/rebuild needs!

Ombo, project manager, was great with his communication throughout the process and showed extreme professionalism as well. They were able to get the restoration team (Moogii) to come out quickly and they worked efficiently and were very thorough and clean as well. They redid our kitchen and the ceiling of the room below after a rather epic dishwasher door seal failure. We were super fortunate to have chosen them! Since the kitchen before the water damage was hardly my favorite, they guided us through the process of upgrading our cupboards (top and bottom), counters, and floors. The work was done so phenomenally well and the finished product is so lovely. The process was long because of insurance timing and such, but they were wonderful and installed a temporary sink for us while we waited on cupboards, etc. We absolutely love love LOVE our new kitchen and would recommend them any day of the week!

Ombo and his crew were so awesome. We had a flood in our brand new home (literally brand new construction) only 3 weeks after moving in. Our beautiful flooring in the kitchen, our home office, and a hallway had to be torn up, and some of the cabinets and walls were damaged - including our cool kickplate lighting. Five Point Restoration came to our house within an hour of water damage caused from a leak from a third-floor tub. They removed the affected insulation and drywall by the end of the day.The real heroes were Dash, Janna, and their son who put everything back together. Not only did they fix the drywall, texture, and paint to ensure our main living room was returned to normal, but they painted an extra wall, fixed a troublesome door, and cleaned other surfaces out of kindness and a high level of professionalism. Well use Five Point Restoration again because of how amazing they are!

Five Point restoration exceeded our expectations on our kitchen remodel. They were fair, honest, professional and performed quality workmanship on an incredibly fast timeline.

Ombo and his team were super efficient and did a really good job. Ombo was always very responsive and communicative when sorting out dates for the work that needed to be done. He was also very flexible with having certain parts of the remodel done by myself (i.e. take out the old flooring myself, remove baseboards myself etc) to try and save some cost.I ended up picking flooring that i bought and picked up myself and then head Ombo’s team install them. Worked fairly smooth - just had to get a vapor barrier on the day of install because we didn’t know the flooring required some.They weren’t able to warranty the work because the vinyl flooring I bought didn’t have as good of a locking system as their own flooring materials that they offer - which I think is fair.I would recommend them and work with them again.

I sent the following email to Patrick, the manager for five points restoration. I never received a response or apology. I will add that some of the delays were due to Covid as well as delayed response from our insurance but nothing was communicated with me regarding the issues. We have used them twice now for 2 bigger water damage problems we have had and they are so quick at getting started on the job (within hours of the first call) and quick at getting the job done as well . Pat has always been so great to work with every time and is so kind and so knowledgeable with every encounter and keeps you up to date on time frames and progress etc. so there is never a question or concern and always has the most positive and funnest personality every single call. We were also sooo grateful to ombo with this last water damage problem . We really wanted to keep our same flooring cause we loved it so much and so he went the extra mile and took the time to make some calls and ended up finding a match for our flooring so that we could be happy with keeping the same flooring we had before that we wanted, which I was so incredibly impressed by and so grateful for! We had a water leak which required the removal of cabinets, repair of sheetrock and baseboard, plumbing and painting as well as repair of a light fixture on a lower level. Five Point did an excellent job in the replacement and repair of all aspects of the project. There had been some minor damage to the cabinets when a different company removed them and Five Point repaired the damage and its impossible to see where the repair was done.Their staff always kept us appraised, was always on time, was always polite and was a pleasure to deal with. In addition, Five Point worked directly with the insurance company to get the necessary approvals, making the entire process extremely easy.

We had nothing but excellent experiences with Five Point. Our shower leaked and they were quick to come take out the damaged floor and shower and provide a reasonable price for the new flooring to be put back in along with paint and trim work. We highly recommend!

I had water damage through out my home through out the holidays. My insurance hired a company who took 4 months and never did anything while we had been waiting in a hotel, eventually they were fired.Five Point Restoration came to our rescue!!! They promised to get the job done in 2 weeks but only took 7 days to finish.My contractors name was Ganbat, he was quick to respond my text or calls every time I had a question. His restoration team was very polite, trustworthy and good nature.If you need any type of job I recommend this company and request Ganbat, for a fast, fair, beautiful, professional and a well done job.

The work was fine. But the communication was incredibly frustrating and far below reasonable. We decided to move forward with them and they set up a time to do a final walk-through. I didnt know a walk-through meant they would start work that day? But that was their plan. So ok we move stuff around in our schedule and start work that day. The Asian workers were amazing. Very hard working. They didn’t speak English so that cane with small challenges but they were very respectful and super hard working! They started on a Friday and then took the weekend off and finished on the Monday or Tuesday. Why would you start a project that should only take a day and a half over a weekend just to leave the place in a dust pile? I dont know. So they get done with the dry wall- great. Now they just need to lay the carpet and clean it and we can be done. Oh my gosh- our carpet is still not done! After 3 weeks someone came and put a new carpet pad down finally but did we ever get it cleaned? Nope. And did we pay for it? Yes. I finally just paid the invoice and was done with them. Theyre impossible to work with. The project manager was unresponsive when we would text him and would only call the day before a job was going to get done. Sorry but we have a life and cant drop everything to be home when you MIGHT show up. If I did it again- Id look elsewhere.

My home suffered a major flood effecting 5 rooms, kitchen, front room and 3 basement rooms. Five Point came in the day that I reported the flood and to my surprise stayed very long hours to get the job done as quickly as possible. They discovered a bad a mold problem in the process of the kitchen demolition and treated it immediately. Pat, Boomka and their crew were all great to work with. Considering Ive spent a lot of time with them over the past two months through the demolition and rebuild of 3 full rooms (kitchen, basement bedroom and basement bathroom) there was never a bad day. Everyone was wonderful. Very kind, polite and happy. At the end of the day they cleaned up and hauled away the mess from that day. I was never left with work for me to do. I especially wanted to give kudos to Boomka. He really made the whole thing easier. I had just finished a full remodel of the kitchen about 6 months ago and was heartbroken over everything needing to be taken out of the kitchen. Boomka was understanding and helpful with options for choosing new flooring and cabinets. He offered suggestions that I was not aware were available. In the end I had a beautifully upgraded kitchen and basement. I cant say enough how thankful I am for the quality work that everyone with Five Point delivered. Last thing I said to Boomka before he left was I am keeping your number because when I need any other work done I am calling you. I highly recommend Five Point Restoration.

Very efficient, professional and always on schedule. We had a category 3 flood, they did an amazin job with the drywall, paint, plumbing, vanity, faucets etc...they were also very very kind to do additional work beyond the flood. Five Point did an amazing job repairing our basement after a flood from a sprinkler line. Fudo did a wonderful job installing new sheet rock and painting, can’t even tell there was a repair to wall. These guys were quick to arrive and get working on our flooded basement. They even helped out on a separate project not related to our flooding (in removing our old dishwasher to replace it with a new one, we found some additional water damage that they inspected for us and left a couple of fans to help dry it out). Their employees were friendly, courteous and answered all our questions. They also worked well with our insurance company and got the job completed ahead of schedule.

Five point Restoration worked really fast and were able to get us in are house before Christmas. They were really nice and friendly and answerd all of are questions. They worked well with are insurance.

After my basement flooded with sewage, I had another company do the cleanup, then used Five Point for the rebuild. Ombo and his team were highly responsive and completed most of the large job in two and a half days. A little bit of the detailed work seemed rushed, so I texted Ombo and he came by and fixed everything. The work is beautiful and I recommend this company.

Strongly recommend you look elsewhere for any of your water damage and restoration needs. I had to repeat the same information over and over to multiple people, throughout the process. I had to constantly reach out to get status updates. Exposed electrical wires were left laying on the floor after cabinets were removed. The areas that were repainted were not sanded down before painting and left lines from where the old counter had been. I had to walk through their invoice line by line to get a clear picture for what I was being charged. In that process we found items that were included in the estimate, for which the work was done, but were not in the invoice, estimated line items that did not match the invoice with no explanation why, and items that were unnecessarily included in the invoiced amount.

I recently had a huge water loss at my house. Five Point Restoration came out within an hour and performed emergency services. The guys stayed very late the first night to make sure that the disaster was mitigated and well on the way to drying out. The repair process started shortly after the dry-out and clean-up was complete. You can see from the photos that the water destroyed the mother-in-law apartment I had put in my basement (literally raining from the ceiling) and the newly added wood floor on my main level. I have no doubts that Five Point Restoration will be able to quickly and professionally restore my home to pre-loss conditions. Thank you!

Its been an epic saga with Five Point Restoration but theyve been great overall. My insurance was a nightmare throughout and because 2020, the process took FOREVER. I had both a water main leak and 2 sewage cleanups this summer. The cleanup guys were prompt and worked quickly. They had a lot of opinions about the plumbers who were working at the same but thats neither here nor there. Biggest issue here was I asked them to save 3 baby quilts so I could take them to get cleaned. They saved 2 quilts and a random Spiderman blanket, so my daughters baby quilt is gone forever.Pat, my coordinator throughout the process, was mostly responsive. Hed call even when there was nothing to report to keep me updated. My insurance dragged their feet so there were long periods of time I heard nothing. Daniel in the billing department was AMAZING at looking everything over and explaining things to me so I could understand. Once he got involved everything started moving. Not sure why it took so long for him to get involved.Bumka and the restoration guys are the reason for my 5 star review. He was thorough in his walk through and he helped us choose new flooring which was cheaper and more modern. He helped us cut costs in a couple other places as well. He was super knowledgeable, personable, and took pride in his work. He called the next day and was able to move some things around to fit us in. His crew showed up at 9am and finished our entire basement floor by 2:30pm. Our new floor looks AMAZING. Bumka and his crew did excellent work and Im ready for them to do my whole house. They even plugged in our Christmas lights to show us the final product.I would recommend Five Point Restoration overall but especially for the final product.

I am shocked with how many good reviews. Water damage to home had filled a insurance claim. After horrible communication during the entire process. Had to call them out at serval time to get items fixed they should have taken care of the first time.They had never sent me a itemized final invoice, but did send a generic invoice to my insurance for more then the agreed upon amount. I still never received a final invoice from them but instead a notice from a debt collection company who tacked on an additional $1500 dollar collection fee that I am still battling with to get removed what a joke. I would never recommend doing business with them.

Great service, experience, and customer interaction. One of the supervisors, Ombo, and his workman, Dash, were easy to work with and very professional. Dash did an excellent job, was thorough, committed and took pride in his work, and aimed to please. The remodel done by Five Point was perfect.

An inspector showed up quickly after I called, and scheduled a painter to get all the drywall, painting, and baseboards done. A painter and his daughter showed up the next day, and did incredible work -- the wall was cut 2 feet down due to the water damage, but it looked better-than-new when they were done. The paint color was matched perfectly to the rest of the existing walls. They came in the next day and put all the baseboards in; again excellent work. The inspector came back the day after that and finished the job (the final piece was replacement of a vanity/sink). All work was excellent, and everyone was always on time when they said theyd be. Also they worked great with my insurance company. Id highly recommend Five Point Restoration if you need home repairs.

Had a drain blockage which caused damage to two rooms and a hallway. Once the water mitigation was complete Five Point Restoration cam and rebuilt several walls, painted both rooms and the hallway, and then put in new flooring. It was done in a very timely manner without constant reminder calls. Bumka oversaw the project and was very diligent in finding the products we needed and wanted. Work was done very well. Now that the project is finished the rooms and hallway are better than they were to start with. Well done.

I worked with Dan on a meth decontamination for a rental property in Salt Lake City. Service was very good. They gave us a fair and honest bid for the work. I am so shocked to see all of the good reviews this company has received because we have had the worst experience with them. It took them months to finish a small repair that caused us to be out of our small apartment. They are never on time and sometimes say they will be coming and dont come for a week. One time they came to install our carpet at 9 pm! We had left the house all day because they were going to be installing and we have five month old twins. When we got home to put the babies in bed they were just getting started because their job had gone long so they stopped for dinner. When I expressed how upsetting that was, they rolled their eyes at me. So disappointed

I had a leak from kitchen to basement in the home we just bought, and my home inspector recommended Five Point to check it out. Nathan came all the way up to Bountiful to inspect the walls and floors in question. He used a infrared camera and moisture meter to detect residual moisture. He then gave recommendations for repair which were minimal because there wasnt much moisture left to be much worry. Then he gave me a referral for a mold detection company to use in the future in case I was concerned. Clean, professional, thorough, and the inspection was free! I recommend them.

Five star restoration is a first class group. They were extremely efficient with time and effort. The team that worked on my condo were wonderful to work with and their work was excellent! We had a leaking roof at the top of our vaulted ceiling and our insurance company called them. They arranged to be out as soon as possible and immediately started the mitigation process to dry the roof and ceiling so there was no further damage to our house. They were professional and courteous from the beginning until final repairs and communicated all the steps with us along the way. I am grateful for their help and would call them again if I ever needed any home repair services.

They called almost immediately and had someone out to the house to inspect damage and start the mitigation process. Repairs were completed in less than 3 weeks! Everyone that we spoke with and came to our home was outstanding and professional. The customer service provided by Five Point has been incredible. They definitely made a bad situation a lot better!

From the guys who removed the damaged areas, Jonas and Joe H, to Ombo who made the repairs, they were all highly professional and took the stress out of the process. I had Five Point Restoration go to my mothers house to deal with a sewage and mold situation. They arrived quickly and were very nice to deal with during a difficult situation. They have been the amazing to work with. I called other companies. If the bid was low they couldnt give me a start date or other companies charged more because I needed the work done quickly. Five Point advised me what would be best and most affordable for me and also could get the work done quickly. Also their employees are respectful and courteous . They were respectful of my time and always polite. The work they did is beautiful. My insurance advised me to hire another company. I am grateful that company could not give me a start date and I found Five Point. They have been amazing

I’ve had them look at two of my rentals with some mold issues. They didn’t try to pull a scare tactic on me. They were honest and informative. They did a great job cleaning up one of the mold issues and gave me a to-do list that I could handle myself.

Pat from 5 Point just left my house and I am blown away by how great this company is. I had a minor flood in my washroom and family room and I was recommended another company by my plumber who gave me an estimate of $2500 that included cutting into dry wall just to make sure its not wet. Pat came today to offer a second estimate and after doing a thorough check of the areas that were affected, he told me that rather than spend my insurance deductible I could go to home depot and take care of it myself for about $20. Super fast and high quality work. My laundry room was flooded from unit above, the water went through the ceiling 20 feet into my 2nd bedroom. They handled everything for me, they came out looked at it, talked to my insurance company, and I didnt have to do a thing. I told them that I needed it done asap, and their employee Bumka (probably spelled incorrectly) came out and did it all in one night! He stated at 4pm, and worked ten hours straight, finishing at 2am. I am very satisfied!

Wow!!! Five Point did an incredible job helping us fix the damage to our home from a water heater leak. Not only were they out to my house the same day we called but the team continued to work at an amaziny fast rate from the start of the project to the end. They made this crazy experience for a first time home buyer so easy and the results were even better than we started with. I can not thank the Five Point team enough with their speedy and more than helpful way that they handled this process. I would highly recommend them to anyone restoring their homes!

We had a line break on our hot water heater and it flooded our basement. Five Point dried us out so fast! The guys were so nice and professional and really cared about my house and were careful with my possessions that had to be moved. I sure hope we dont have another disaster but if we do, I would call them again.
