Nothing like other HVAC cleaning companies we have used. The visit was supposed to be just for $100. We ended up paying over $1100. I just wanted them to clean out the ducting, but they added all sorts of things to their $7/vent fee. And for the vent cleaning, they literally mean they will take a regular vacuum to the vents they can reach. Any further back and it is much more. They also claimed to find mold in the ducts, but based on the pictures they gave me, they dont look anything like what other pictures of mold look like. There may have been a couple tiny spots (undetectable to me), but certainly nothing that would warrant a $300 fee to clean it. In addition to the price being outrageous, they made the rest of the house a mess. The pictures shown are of the bathroom floor that is right below a vent. Apparently they dont care if the rest of the house gets sprayed with dust and dirt and whatever else, as long as the ducts dont have any in it. Our lawn looked similar to this from cleaning the dryer vent. Overall they did clean the ducts, they just charged way more than I initially was told, and then they left dirt all over. I would NOT recommend this company to clean your vents.

My wife and I wanted our vents cleaned. The representative on the phone told us it was $7 per vent and return. We told her how many we had and she quoted us on 17 vents and returns for $119.Well the tech came out today. I gave him the tour. He then brought in all of his equipment. Took all the vents apart and started taking pics. After a little while he brought me the pics and goes through them. He tells me that my vents are severely dirty and have mold in them but in the pictures nothing was actually wet, just had dry moisture spots. He then tells me that he cant clean unless I agree to the bleach spray for liability reasons. Then went on about all the other extras the were required for service.The total he hit me with was $957. He also offered the works package that consisted of a washable filter, uv light and a discount on return visits for a total of over $1500. I informed him I would not be using his services. At which time he gathered his equipment, put my vents back together, thanked me for be so cool about it and left.To be clear I hold no issue with the tech. He was clean, respectful and polite. He was only doing what he has been trained to do by the predatory company.THIS IS TEXT BOOK BAIT AND SWITCH!!!I would never recommend this company.

Stephen did a great job at cleaning our ducts and vents. He was very knowledgeable about our heating/AC and how we could improve our system for a safer, cleaner home. Scheduling was easy, and I was impressed when they called me to get in sooner due to cancellation. Loved having before and after photos as the vents were cleaned. Thank you Wasatch Clean Air! Dont hire Wasastch Clean Air. We paid them 478.00 to clean our ducts and mains. Afterward we realized that the guy didnt clean all the ducts and made a mess he only halfway cleaned up. I called the office and was told the manager would call me. She never did. Ive left two messages since then with no response. Our bad for being too trusting and not checking the work while he was still here but its ridiculous that the manager wont call me. Terrible customer service.

I was unsatisfied with my experience. I had a coupon to have my vents cleaned. I was expecting to pay about $90. After the HVAC guy cleaned my vents (he did a great job, by the way) he continued to tell me why I needed to pay him $1600 today. I know my HVAC system was dirty. He was trying to do his job well. But I don’t love the pressure he put on me to spend $1500 more than I had planned for. He was shocked that I wasn’t willing/able to pay that much and it was very stressful for me. He made me feel stupid for not understanding all the parts of my HVAC systems (“everybody else knows you can’t only pay $90 to take care of an HVAC system for 1,000 square feet”) and I didn’t like that. In the future when people call you with the vent cleaning coupon, perhaps you ought to to explain that other cleanings might be necessary up to $1500 more than you’re expecting to pay. I finally got him to leave my house with only cleaning out my vents but he seemed like I had insulted him and I felt stupid and pressured. I wont be using your coupons again.

DO SOME RESEARCHWe had them clean our air ducts before moving into our new home and our technician did a great job. He was thorough in explaining the services available and the warranty. He also did a great job cleaning and vacuuming out the vents. He even had before and after pictures to see. Overall, the technician did a great job. My only concern was the pricing. Honestly, its on me for not doing more research and getting multiple quotes from different places, but our situation was we just wanted them done as soon as we could and this was the company we had called. I wished the company had more info (whether on their website or a printout) of the reasoning why the additional services cost so much and research on why its great and its effectiveness. So I guess we could have gone without the additional services beyond the basic vacumming, but I get allergies and have skin sensitivities so I went with the extra services assuming and hoping it will be helpful, and also, I dont think the ducts in the house had ever been cleaned before, but it definitely costed a lot more than I thought. Removed a star, just because I wouldve liked more researched information on the effectiveness of the cleaning, sanitizing, and purifying process. . Also, there was a light film of dust left on my floors, but I kind of already expected that to happen.

Hired these guys on a special they offered for spring cleaning. They did a pretty good job on the vents / ducts. When I asked to have my dryer vent cleaned out they wanted over $200 to clean one vent. I mentioned all the other ducts he had cleaned out were larger and longer, and cost a fraction of what they wanted for the dryer vent. I asked why it was so expensive all he could answer was thats what the boss says. The BOSS never returned my call for a better explanation. Classic example of a business trying to take advantage of a customer! Fortunately APEX CLEAN AIR made a special trip for the dryer vent and did it for a fraction of the cost. (SHAME ON YOU!!! Wasatch Clean Air) or should I say Nice Try! Very poor business strategy.......................

TLDR: Way overpriced, false advertising, and VERY unprofessional. One of the most bizarre customer experiences Ive ever had.I got an ad in the mail for $7 / vent for unlimited vents. We live in a small apartment (7 vents) so I decided to call and verify before they came out and they said they have a 10 vent min which was understandable. I specifically asked if they could really clean my vents for $70 and the woman on the phone said yes of course, just show the ad to the cleaner. She schedules me and the day before I get a message saying they need to reschedule, Im ok with this so we reschedule for the next week. The next week rolls around and they have to reschedule again, Im a little bit bummed but say ok and we reschedule. For a THIRD time they text me and say the cleaner cant come in the afternoon like we had agreed but could come in the morning on the same same day. The morning the cleaner finally shows up, I show him the ad for $7/vent and hes all annoyed, like I did something wrong. I was super confused. He takes a bunch of pictures and then writes up an itemized list for $1700....I tell him this is way over budget for us in a small apartment. He rolls his eyes and says well these starred items are the ones that are super important (starring half the items and amounting to $800). Again I tell him I saw the ad and that I spoke with their rep and they said that they could do some sort of cleaning for $70. He then goes on to try and use all kinds of technical jargon to explain why he cant do less than $800 (Im an engineer and it was a load of BS). At this point hes frustrate and sits on my couch. He asks me, well could you do $275 but this would only be a minor clean and wouldnt do much. I say no, I was anticipating paying the ad price for a vent cleaning. Upset he says, well I can do the add price but I wouldnt be able to do anything but stick a vacuum hose down each vent and he points to MY shopvac which is sitting in the middle of the floor. I say Im really confused, I thought I was just paying the ad price. Im not sure why there is so much tension here. If you cant do the ad price then Im ok. Like I dont need my vents cleaned. At this point he seems pretty frustrated and says Look you owe me $70 just for coming out here!... Im not mad... look... I need to step out and then just walks out of the house upset and breathing heavy. He then comes back in and without a word starts packing up his things and leaves. I ended up sticking my shopvac house down the vents and calling it good. Most bizarre and unprofessional experience Ive ever had. Didnt realize vent cleaning was like car shopping!! LOL

Super over priced. Didnt trust the tech! Gave me a quote. Didnt feel good about it. Had another company come out the next day. They counted my main lines, etc., And the number was lower. Felt like they were over charging me and adding in things that werent there because I have no clue.

Very disappointed with the service. Being a first time customer, I’ve had the worst experience with this company. I had them clean the air ducts which in the beginning was around $200 but ended up paying $1400 dollars which resulted in breaking my AC. It was a total Rip Off. Very bad customer service. My wife and I were really impressed with this company and the technician that helped us. They kept to times we scheduled, communicated every step of the way, and were very professional. Austin was great seeing us pictures and explain what he recommended, what he was doing, and why. When we experienced an issue the day after they cleaned out units (at no fault to Austin), he was kind enough to quickly come out to our house, diagnose the issue, fix that problem as well at no charge, and give some great information and answer all of our questions. We highly recommend this company, and we hope you get a Tech as awesome as Austin.

The furnace filter was filling up every two weeks! We called this company to get an estimate and found the estimate reasonable. The next week this company sent out Ashton. Ashton was very polite and attentive listener! We went through the house and mapped out the vents and air returns. The. He drew up a complete estimate and gave us time to go over it. Once we finished asking questions and finalized paperwork, Ashton was proceeded to do a thorough job! He showed us before and after pictures and left without leaving a mess. Our furnace does not sound like a waterfall anymore! We have a better understanding of how our system works and we could not be happier for the quality of work! Ashton was awesome!!!

I would highly recommend this company. My technicians name was Stephen. His communication skills were excellent. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my questions and skepticism as to the effectiveness of his service. Using a camera to take before and after pictures made me a believer.I found the no high pressure sales pitch refreshing.

Marshall explained the job well and was prompt when he got here. He performed the cleaning very well and in good time. I was concerned with the amount of work that they wanted to perform and the price, just felt it was a little much when I wanted the vents cleaned by an ad I had . didn’t want to have $1,600 worth of work done.

The pricing of this company is not straight forward and quite unreasonable. We signed up for vent cleaning service and the technician told us all of the other services that we should get because they were not included. All we wanted was our ducts and dryer vents to be cleaned at a reasonable price and it came out to be over $400 more than what we signed up for. Scammers!

We had our air duct cleaned by Josh with Wasatch Clean Air this morning. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He explained what the job entailed and all the processes from the beginning to the end. He even showed us the before and after pictures. I could not believe all the gunk that came out of the ducts. There were even some dog food morsels in the air duct from our Great Dane. So much dust!! To think we were breathing in all that in. They had 3 service options to choose from, but we went with the plan that comes with a lifetime warranty and maintenance. Knowing that we have the UV purifier to kill organic growths, such as mold or bacteria is great. For all the allergy sufferers, I would highly recommend this service.

This company is a SCAM. Stay away. Dont be fooled by the fake good reviews!!They advertised as $7 per vent and return. They came and cleaned the vents first. After that they started to inspect your system and told you that you need to clean the trunk lines and Furnace, because just cleaning the vents is useless (yes, they said what they just did is useless).What they tried is to get a chance to enter your home and clean the vent (they will tell you its useless and will loose all dirt in your trunk line which will blow back more dirt into your house).We ended up with paying over $600 (which was $150 on the quote I got.) I regretted i made such choice but I was scared by them that the dirt was loose in the main lines. They even didnt finish cleaning the vents. After they left, we found two dirty and nasty vents that they didnt clean at all!!This it first time the actual money and quote have such a big difference. I cant believe this can even happen in the USA. They even provided options for over $1400 and $1800 for some amazing sanitize tools.Yes I know cleaning the vents may not be enough but it should be stated first and in the quote instead of avoiding telling the truth first.The way this company doing business made me sick. They made me feel they tried to advertise something to have a chance to enter your home. Then they did useless work first and provided their expensive solutions to you.Check other companies with transparent pricing. I always believe a company can do things good only when they are HONEST and responsible.

I am upset at hiding the issue they created.One of my bathroom cieling vents were not handled correctly. Incorrectly reinstalled.They used MY dryer vent tape I left in laundry roof to Tape my vent. I rarely use this bathroom but went down day of service to see my drywall tore up around the vent and MY tape to seal the vent.Mostly upset at their inability to explain the issue prior to settling my bill and finding out after the fact with no fix explained. Sent text, email and now this Google message in an attempt to resolve.Overall, they were aware of the issue and band aid it without expressing the issue. Stephen is very knowledgeable in his job. He is the consummate professional. He explained what he was doing while he was doing the job and explained the benefits of a full restore of my ventilation system. There was no pressure to add on any services to my order. He would explain his concerns but that was it. The decision is entirely left to the customer. Stephen was on time and he did a thorough clean up post work. I would recommend Wasatch Clean Air and Stephen as the technician to ask for.

Jasmine called the night before to ensure appointment time was correct and it still worked for us. Josh called the morning of the appointment to let me know what time they would arrive. All vents were cleaned and sanitized with a natural cleaner. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. I would recommend them. I did learn that you should aways ask questions about what is included with a service of you’ve never had it done before. It was more expensive then I originally budgeted for, however I’m happy with the work. I did pay for a lifetime filter and UV light. Both will be arriving in the next week. I will follow up and review when these arrive. As of now I’m happy!

I used Wasatch Clean Air because of the add in the Home magazine booklet. The 3 reviews I read were good. The young men were polite, nice and timely. I had 12 vents, 2 returns and the mains cleaned ( after all if the main ducts aren’t cleaned the dirt would have just blown back into the vents), plus the dryer vent. Over all I was satisfied with the service. I did find 2 vents that they missed putting the covers back on after they left.

Beware! Bait and switch!Our home isn’t large, but we have two furnaces. So I called and asked for an estimate. I reviewed with her the number of intakes and vents and was quoted $194. I was given the impression that was a full service. Wrong! After he said he had done the intakes and vent he asked if we also wanted the two “trunk lines” cleaned for $95 each. In addition, he highly recommended a more thorough process that included some chemical treatments. That would have been over a thousand dollars.It ended up costing us over four hundred dollars for an incomplete job.After he left my wife noticed that he had not vacuumed two of the three intakes. He also told us there wouldn’t be any dust because his vacuum would get it all.We are now spending half a day cleaning and dusting the entire house.

Sure they vacuumed out the vents. Be prepared for massive unexpected sales pitch aka pressure. Expected $200 job turned into a $1400 quote with a guarantee of $299 repeat full service visits.So be prepared for bloated sticker shock.Overall service wasnt I guess wasnt bad, but afterwards cant get over the feeling of what was it that I ended up paying up the backside for... and then the hey they said they would vacuum out something but I never saw anyone go anywhere near something that was promised to be vacuumed out.A manager offered discount also came out suspicious in the after thought as well.So overall I guess the quality of work and services offered may not be bad, but with the price tag, be sure to get a second opinion before accepting the work quote.

Our air already feels cleaner! Our tech also cleaned the dryer and got so much lint out of the dryer! Our technician was courteous and professional, without trying to pressure you into ALL the services (which is why we left the previous company.) We will definitely be using them again!

Our technician Austin was great! He explained things well and was fast and efficient. I rated it lower because when I called and asked about pricing they were not upfront and honest with me even when I asked very specific questions. What I thought was going to be $150 turned out to be close to $1500 if I did all the things they recommended. And you have to do at least 10 vents since they came out, which makes you feel like what they are doing is useless and a waste of money because you dont clean the full system. And then they ask you to give a review and tell you that your technicians pto and other benefits come from online reviews. I felt like that was very bad practice. My bad experience was not his fault and was completely the office staff and the companys policy. I would not recommend this company.

The prices were fair and the result was amazing! Itzae and his partner came in today and did an amazing job! Our vents were not cleaned for years and my wife and I were experiencing breathing problems. Marshal, our tech, was kind, courteous and efficient. He even helped me fix a vent that needed to be screwed more securely into the ceiling. Wasatch Clean Air arrived on time and communicated throughout the process. That was how we discovered that the service we thought we booked was a stripped-down version of what their competitors were offering. Essentially we thought we were saving money by using their service, when in reality it was like ordering a hamburger, to be told the meat would be extra. So if you are shopping prices on air duct cleaning, ask lots of questions to make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Specifically, does the price reflect a cleaning of the main lines (our home had 4) or was it merely the duct lines running from the vent to the main line? - which in some instances in our home could be measured in inches. Had we known, we STILL might have hired them to clean our system (wed have Marshal back any day of the week!), but we would have been more prepared for the price doubling to really get cleaner air. (And the works offered was 5x higher, but of course, that was for many more services than we were interested in at the time.) Marshal did present the options in a very informative, NO pressure manner. One final helpful piece of info, according to WCA: if you dont clean the main lines, after they have cleaned the lines from the vent to the main line, there is a possibility of kicking back into your air a bunch of dust that they just loosened. We opted to pay extra to really CLEAN the system. I would NOT book them just do clean the vents and returns because (I learned today) unless you are aware of specific issues, it wont do much to clean the AIR in your home.

Since my kids have pet allergies, I thought it would be a good idea to get the vents cleaned.We saw an advertisement for $7.00 per vent and return so decided to call and schedule an appointment. The technician called ahead and arrived on time.The technician started the cleaning and then stopped part way into the job to show us photos of our vents and then presented us with estimates for different levels of services.After vacuuming the entrance to a few of our vents, the technicians tried to hit us up for $1600.00, telling us that we needed a full cleaning. 10 times the advertised and expected price!It is dishonest to state one price on the phone when you make the appointment, start the job, and then change the price after.What a SCAM! Stay away from this company. Take the money you would spend on them to buy a shop vac and clean your own vents.

I recently bought a house that had some pretty gnarly ducts, so I decided to have them cleaned. While the technician was very professional and friendly, I paid over a grand for this service and our allergies are worse than before and the vents are still blowing a lot of dust and lint. Definitely not worth the money I paid.

First, my 100 year home had never had the vents cleaned, so this was a nasty job! Stephen took care of our vents, he pulled out so many things from our system (books, shoes, and so much more). He took the time to explain what he was doing and the steps I need to take to maintain the system in the future. Honestly, it was the best vent cleaning experience, and I will be using this company for all of my future cleanings!

We called Wasatch Clean Air to have our vents cleaned out to help with allergies, asthma, and dust. We ended up getting our furnace serviced and adding a UV light and reusable filter. Steve did a great job getting it set up quickly, sending us real-time photos and extending the life of our 15 year-old furnace.

We are pleased with how professional and careful Marshall was in his service of our home! And so very glad to have not only clean vents but sanitized vents! No more dust mites laying eggs! Yea!

I appreciated that they were able to get the request done so quickly. Other companies I called gave me a two month wait and Wasatch Clean Air came the Monday after I called. So super quick response. Its early to tell if the service made a difference since he just finished but I appreciated the before and after photos and the communication about what was being done.

Josh was very kind and showed us before and after photos. I am still researching the best way to clean some of the mold, we used pinesol to brush a little out then we will take next steps. Options should be weighed.

Marshall did a great job. They sent me a reminder, and called before they came. He cleaned out my dryer vent in record time. The process was fast and thorough. Definitely recommend their service.

I have some mixed reviews.Some positives:My vents are clean, job was done in a timely manner and the technician was friendly.Some negatives:I was expecting an $80 bill to have the eight vents in my 1200 square foot house cleaned. My house is 100 years old this year. The technician said the vents had not been cleaned in a very long time and that it would cost more, having to navigate around asbestos in the basement and to sanitize the vents. I told him that was fine, but that I didnt want anything unnecessary done- just the bare minimum to get the job done well. He stepped me through an itemized list of the work he was going to do and explained why each was absolutely necessary. The new total for the work he suggested was $800! Ten times the amount I was expecting! Again he explained why each step was necessary. I took his word for it and agreed to have the work done.Perhaps this is more of a review on how I am too trusting. I just expect a company to have my best interest in mind, and have been disappointed since work was done to recognize where I was taken advantage of. One of the absolute musts on my bill was an electrostatic air filter. The company charged me $129 for this filter. It is very fancy, especially considering you can find less fancy filters in a store for $10, which I would have much rather done. That being said, This same air filter the technician sold me is selling on Amazon for $50 with free shipping. When I discovered this (after the work was done), I called the company and asked if they could explain the additional cost. When they couldnt, I asked if I could return it and get a refund. Convinently for them, they do not offer any refunds on vents.I recognize better now that I paid much more than necessary for the work that was done, and I wish there was something that could be done. I trusted the company to treat me honestly and fairly, and not take advantage of my naivety on vents and duct work.Again, maybe this is just a review of me being too trusting. I should not have trusted the technician and would have been better off to go though the list he gave me with a fine tooth comb and do some price comparing online while the technician waited.I am leaving a low review because I do not feel that my best interest was considered, and I do feel that I was taken advantage of. I feel like a jump from $80 to $800 in price reflects that pretty well. The vent is just one example of where I could have paid A LOT less had I not taken the technicians word, and I am pretty disappointed by that.

Wasatch Clean Air cleaned out all our vents and replaced the coils on our AC unit. Not only is the air cleaner but it now cools off the home more quickly. Our tech Stephen was exceptional—give that man a raise! Thank you for the great service.

The technician called in advance asking if it was OK to move the appointment up, and showed up at the exact time we agreed on. He explained the process of cleaning, and got right to work. He sent me before and after pictures throughout the initial service, and presented options based on his findings.The HVAC in the house had not been maintained, and the technician explained a range of options based on the condition of the vents and the system itself. He explained the cost/benefit of each option without pressure or judgement. He got started right away on the options I chose.There was no cleanup required after the visit, as the technician had done that already before letting me know his work was complete.When you have someone visit your home, to take care of systems that literally determine the quality of the air in your home, you want your experience of that service to be the kind I had today with Wasatch Clean Air.

Just as a bit of education, when we first called Wasatch clean air they gave a basic quote for vacuuming the vents and inspection. After the inspection comes the real quote, which felt like up selling, but without the pressure. After 40 years of kids and multiple animals we decided to get the full service which came in just under $1400. Stephen did a good job explaining what was included. He was very professional and he worked hard for almost 5 hours. Too bad I can’t upload a pic from just one of the vents.

They were able to come out quickly, which is great. The before and after pictures will blow your mind! Stephen was great, upfront with pricing and was not pushy when offering additional services. They are a professional company, and will recommend to friends.

Service was on time, everything was explained to me in detail. Work done was very thorough. House wasnt dusty anymore and it even smelled fresh right after service was performed.

They showed me pictures of vents and returns and Furnance and explained the bid.They did an excellent job cleaning. I had the hospital sanitizer applied in the system and the furnace cleaned . If you are looking to have your HVAC system cleaned you need to use Wasatch Clean Air! The entire staff is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable!!! They don’t try to up sell you on things you don’t need but are honest and will make recommendations to save your furnace! They are on time and during this pandemic show up in full gear to make sure they follow all CDC guidelines. When you talk to them it’s like talking to family, they truly care about their customers!! We had the BEST Experience today in having our air ducts cleaned. I had worried about a mess and just what to expect. The Technician called and came earlier which was wonderful! Marshall was thorough, knowledgable, professional & courteous. I have been in sales for over 40 years and Marshall was excellent. I had cancelled with another company and I am so glad I did. Wasatch Clean Air could come sooner then others. The other company told me I wouldnt be happier with the work but we are! When you are is business you simply dont bad mouth another company. Our Tech worked long and hard. He was very professional and did a great job and told us everything he was doing including showing us before and after pictures. He informed us of other services but did not push for any additional services He called and asked if he could come earlier than scheduled and we agreed. He came then at the agreed upon time

I used these guys based on a coupon that I received in the mail. They ended up adding so many fees that my original $150 estimate became $350 just to get the stuff done that I had thought we had already agreed upon on the phone. In addition they use a sweeping and vacuuming system that seems much closer to a Shop-Vac then the type of cleaning that I had have done in the past. I suffer from allergies and have had air ducts cleaning multiple times over the last 15 to 20 years so Im familiar with how it should go and these guys used ia new or different system, which doesnt necessarily mean its worse but it didnt seem as thorough as the systems that attach to the main furnace vent and create a large vacuum suction. I was very displeased with how they added so many expenses at the end and I wont be using these people again.
