Awesome experience. Great customer service. I was served chilled beverage and the owner took his time and listened to my problems and gave me great advice. I felt at home and my haircut was the best I have seen in decades. He kept asking me was I satisfied and asked me if I wanted adjustments. Very professional and considerate!!! I recently moved to Los Angeles from the east coast and really didnt know what to expect when I found The Hive. Well, I believe I just discovered where the common social media expression barber gave me life originated. Donevin kills the game. Not only has he restored my confidence by making me look and feel better than ever, but the ambiance and overall experience at the Hive was a blessing. You dont want to miss this!

Writing this on behalf of a friend who made an appointment and received horrendous service, despite all the other positive reviews. Donovan arrived over half an hour late to her booked appointment. Told her he wouldn’t cut her hair, because it was “too drastic” of a change from her current hair. Incredibly rude service and unnecessary comments that were very uncalled for. Disappointed in the service of this place, and very skeptical of those praising this unprofessional hair cutter. Would never recommend.

Great experience. Very professional. Does a real straight razor shave and hot towel servic. If you got a beard. Your playing yourself if that aint part of your cut.
