Mr. Silva and his team were outstanding. I received quotes from three or four other contractors- not only did ECO have the most competitive price, but we felt most comfortable with their team. They were professionals, drove company vehicles and did outstanding work. We allowed them access to our home while we were away on numerous occasions...never an issue. Over the past couple of months, Mr. Silva has remodeled and opened our kitchen, installed recessed lighting throughout the house, smoothed popcorn ceilings, updated two bathrooms, installed vinyl flooring in basement, painted everywhere, etc. This company can do everything and we have been impressed with their quality of work. I will start by saying we had a complete mess with our first contractor and we had to part ways with him. We posted on the West Hartford Neighbors and Friends Facebook Page looking for another contractor to finish the drywall and trim. Gercemino responded immediately and said he would stop over. He was here the next day and agreed to do the job for 1000 bucks. We were so pleased with his knowledge of what needed to be done and his price. They showed up as expected and started the job. This is where the positive experience ended. A job that was only supposed to take 3 days, dragged on for over a month with numerous no shows, no communication and countless excuses. While waiting for them to show up, we found out the original contractor never insulated the ceiling. I asked Gercemino if they would do the additional work since they hadn’t really made any progress. His response to me was, $2700 dollars. I asked why 5 sheets of Sheetrock, 2 packs of R15 insulation batts and 14 plastic baffles plus tape and spackle we’re going to cost $2700 dollars. It’s literally $350 in material on the high end and there is now way in hell the labor warranted $2350. I wasnt asking him to setup a lunch date with Jesus. I needed some additional drywall done and I was going to do the demo. His response was and I quote, “Sorry, I am a very, very busy person.” That was the last time we heard from him. He left the job 50% complete and caused other damage. They left blue tape on my new Andersen windows and door as well as the Sheetrock which resulted in glue sticking to the windows and door jam and paper ripping off of the drywall, used absolute garbage for compound because it started to crack at every taped joint and it started to fall off of the corner bead. They left a bunch of garbage in the porch, got compound all over my pavers, etc. I was also asking him to quote what has turned out to be a $15000 dollar renovation to another sunroom on my house and he never got back to me on that one when I asked. Good thing he turned out to be such a putz. I would have had a mess to deal with. Gercemino is an obnoxious, arrogant, egotistical creep. He claims he values customers more than anything. He values how big the job is more than anything and that is obvious. Before I would recommend this clown and his completely unprofessional business, I would crawl across a hot bed of coals naked with a grand piano strapped to my back. He’s a complete tool and doesn’t know what he’s doing. He talks a mean game and produces absolute garbage.

These guys are stellar. They are really quick and Gercemino is adaptable. My father is a contractor and was able to do part of a wall removal to save money, and Gerceminos team came in to do the finishing work.Theyve responded to a couple of emergency plumbing calls on the weekend, and do the job right the first time.The actual best part is how clean they leave the space. After an upstairs plumbing failure, my living room was left in shambles. They did the repairs and just needed to do the last little bit, which included sanding. I didnt realize they had finished because the space was just as clean when they left as it was when they got there. The only construction crew (my father included) Ive considered tidy.And the guys are nice to boot!

We had a fantastic experience with ECO. They were very professional and efficient. They converted space in our garage to an office. We hope to work with them again. Highly recommend

Great customer service and workmanship!Very easy to schedule with and shows up on time.Completed a very complex job on large tall angled ceilings in 4 rooms, deleting skylights, patching drywall, applying new popcorn and paint.Many contractors quoted twice the price and stated the work would take twice as long,Very happy I choose this company!

Gercemino did not show for my scheduled appointment to perform the agreed upon work. Not only did he not show, but he didnt even contact me prior to the appointment. I rearranged my schedule & waited around for the appointment. Very unprofessional. It doesnt take much effort to give people a heads up regarding appointment cancellations. Will not recommend this business.
