Demonstrating his amazing work ethic and great machinery, Andrew had the job done in a couple of hours.Not only that, because we had already paid the original crew, Andrew refused to charge us any extra and made sure our project turned out exactly as we envisioned. I had a very large, dead ash tree removed by Trout Brook and couldn’t be happier with my experience. They came out the next day for a quote, offered me the lowest price out of 4 estimates I received, and by the next morning the tree was completely gone stump and all. They did a great job, were polite and courteous and really took caution not to damage any property (it was a bit of a maze for them here and they handled the equipment and machinery expertly). Great service and a great price. Way lower than my other estimate. Had 3 trees taken down, 1 was huge! Two were in the back yard but they got the equipment back there no problem. The stump was ground down and a very nice young tree was selected and planted and the lawn was sodded where needed. Andrew and Co. were very responsive, hard working, polite and safe. Great work performed by Andrew Bachman and his team. Andrew arrived on time, we walked my backyard and discussed ideas to improve my backyard experience. As an Arborist, he provided expert advice on the status of my many trees. In the end, we came up with a plan. About a week later, the Surgeons arrived to do the Cut downs and Trims. Rick, the climber, along with Denise and Luis, were friendly, professional, respectful, and highly trained. They did fantastic work. Highly recommend the Troutbrook team. The removal of a very large oak tree between two residences and electrical wires from across the street went efficiently and smoothly. Andrew, the owner, coordinated the electrical drops and reconnects with Eversource and GoNet perfectly. The price was fair given the size of the tree, four feet in diameter, more than 80 feet tall.

WOW. That’s all I can say. Andrew and his team were punctual, quick, very professional and hardworking. We had a GIANT silver maple on the property we bought a year ago. Many limbs were dead, and the roots were pushing up our driveway and getting into our pipes. It had to go. Andrew and Trout Brook Landscaping were recommended to me by other local West Hartford neighbors through a local Facebook group. He was quick to come out, assess our tree and give us a quote. We were especially impressed by ho passionate and knowledgeable he was. His quote was the lowest out of all the quotes we had (some were over $2k higher!). Some other companies looked at the tree and just said they couldn’t help us because it was too big. We are so glad we went with Trout Brook Landscaping! His team worked so hard to compete this project (including stump grinding) in two days. As they worked, the whole neighborhood came out to watch their progress and everyone was very impressed. They were incredibly respectful to our lawn and cleaned up remarkably. It’s like they were never there. Do yourself a favor, and hire Andrew and his team. Apparently there’s no job too big! 😉

Ive known Andrew, the owner, for a number of years and hes been a very honest and trustworthy person. Over the yearss worked at two properties I have lived. Hes done tree trimming and mowing. He has strong work ethic, hes punctual and hes not afraid to get his hands dirty with the crew. His prices are fair and hes been reliable as our go-to for landscaping and tree service.

I can not recommend Trout Brook more highly. We had an urgent snow removal issue (with sidewalk responsibilities) while out of town for a holiday, and Andrew put our minds at ease. Yes, there was some impact to the lawn, but it’s to be expected with such large machinery. The crew was prompt with patching and seeding all damaged areas. I recommend their services.

Trout Brook landscaping did and amazing job on my property. They removed a very large pine and trimmed up all the necessary trees in the yard. Highly recommend using Trout Brook Landscaping. Wed used them before to have some basic landscaping maintenance done and were extremely satisfied with the work. Had them out yesterday to clean out our gutters, and found the service was done promptly and with minimal interruption for my wife who was home at the time. The price was great and was more than $100.00 dollars lower than the company I had used previously to clean the gutters. Will definitely be having them come out again in the Spring!

Do not use this company!! The workers dropped gates and heavy equipment on my lawn even though my neighbors were the people having work done. My lawn caved in and despite two messages the owner, Andrew a West Hartford resident, finally got back to me three days later then decided never to call me again because “he decided there was no problem” In his calls he is sarcastic, demeaning, rude, and belligerent. When I finally called he said “ don’t you have a life? This is not critical. It’s not a big deal” so Andrew the owner, feel other people’s property is no big deal and he can do whatever he wants. He said he won’t use insurance and that if he did anything it would take his profit. This is not the kind of business person you want in your neighborhood certainly not in West Hartford. If you use him beware he’ll just use your property as he sees fit. Beware beware beware beware Use Zysk landscaping and Walgren tree experts or anyone else that’s reputable.

Andrew and his guys are fast, efficient, hard-working and incredibly helpful. As a disabled woman, I wouldnt be able to manage in the winter without them; theyre an absolute godsend. (And theyre fantastic for mowing, hedge-trimming, raking, and hauling away tree branches after storms, too!)

We have had an account with Andrew for four years where he has personally overseen all of our landscaping needs: mowing hedging, tree removal etc. He followed us from our house in West Hartford to a new larger property in Bloomfield that we recently purchased. My impression is that Andrew and his team do not stop working until they feel the job is perfection. I can recall one lawn mowing where Andrew got on the ground to use scissors to finish an area of grass he felt was uneven that they couldnt reach with the machines. I always rest assured my property is in good hands with these guys.

Called this company based on a recommendation affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce. Owner calls back and literally says we dont do your business what do you want. I was taken back.. He then says someone asked for me by name, what do you want. I said ok Andrew, I was calling to see if you wanted to quote some business. he said not interested and hung up the phone... Never experienced a business owner treating someone inquiring about doing business, with such disrespect. Glad business is going so well you can treat people this way.

They got the job done, but each time there were issues that reflected a lack of concern for the customer - broken walkways from heavy equipment, dents in the yard from tree limbs dropping while cutting (neither of which were addressed or acknowledged by the company), hidden fees I didnt know about til the end like stump grinding or wood removal. Andrew gives you all information up front and will patiently go above and beyond to discuss the job and for as long as it takes until the customer feels comfortable with their decision. Tree work is expensive, and Trout Brooks guidance makes it feel much less risky. Great crews and office support, too.

Great job by this crew on removing a very tough, old, enormous Copper Beech. They know what theyre doing!

Let me start by saying they werent my first choice. Thats not however a bad thing. Originally I contacted a competitor of theirs because they did some clean up for me two years ago and I thought the were pretty good. I needed a branch removed that was hanging close to my utility feed to the house. Three weeks of Yup, yup, well be there tomorrow and I was done. I mean seriously. What a load of crap. Dont say youll do a job and never show up. Nothing and I mean nothing gets under my skin more than someone who does not do what they say they will. Thats where this begins. I google local tree guys and Trout Brook Landscaping comes up in the search. I see good Google reviews and just call. I have a call back in a matter of 20 minutes. Andrew asks where I live and says, Were right down the street. How about I stop over and take down the branch in a little while. And that was that. Job done and for 30% less than most others wanted to charge. With the exception of the guy I couldnt get to actually stop over to quote it and do it. Still have no idea what he wanted to charge. LOL!!! I was so satisfied with the branch removal, I called them for a pretty hefty clean up job. I wanted a 100 foot pine tree gone, a few smaller trees and all of the over grown beds in my backyard stripped down to dirt. It was done 5 days after he quoted me. Did I mention he stopped over on a Sunday afternoon to take a look at everything because that worked best for me. Thank you Andrew for that. My yard is in great shape for spring, the pine tree gone, the branch removed from my power line and Im not financially killed. All I can say is this. These guys exemplify outstanding customer service, are very fair on pricing, know their line of work and do it with a smile. I would recommend them to ANYONE looking to have top notch landscapers and not have to sell a kidney to get them. Great job guys. I have a ton for you to do in the spring. :)
