Awful experience. The manager was rude, he did not offer us any help, it was one of the worst customer service experiences we have ever received. You do not want to work with this store. We could not believe how dismissive and uninterested the manager was. Once we left, we could see him smiling on his cell phone at his desk. He was clearly more interested on his own phone than helping us. We were going to buy two new iphones as well. Lost business!
I visited this Verizon in an attempt to get my service restored,the bill was fully paid. After waiting in line for well over 15 minutes I was privy to another customers conversation with a service rep., He continued to give reason why he could not resolve her problem, mainly because Verizon doesnt solve problems on weekends, and regardless of her request for some solution he persisted in his effort to get her to leave and accept a call later in the day, allegedly, his boss later identified as only a team leader was the only one who could solve the problem, but who might not answer the phone, My observation, a bad day for the service rep,poor customer relations. He found my phone was activated but was obviously not able to make calls. I confronted him on his attitude, his female assistant emphatically stated they were only a sales store,and didnt have to provide any technical service,and then accused me of being disruptive, and threatened me with calling the police. An African American male takes those threats serious, but an African American male Attorney cannot let this go unaccounted for, I will deal with Verizon Corporate on this issue soon. A lawsuit for emotional distress is needed to justify these actions!
Dont waste your time. its a third party store. theyll only sell you what they want you to buy. avoid.
The agent that served me did not seen interested in providing quality serviceI wad supposed to get a free SIM card,which I had to pay for and ask for a receipt($21+ as opposed to service
Needed some accessories for my phone. Screen protector and a new case. Hard to find a good screen protector for my s10. A helpful associate, Joe, helped me find the best kind of screen protector and case. He applied it in the store, havent had an issue since. Screen is clear, cleaned and unscathed. And I dropped it off a 32 foot ladder. So I highly recommend!
Im not happy with the service in this store ... they put me on trips so that nothing could be repaid, one employee says one thing then the other says another and he is a total disaste
I recently visited this store to help my mom purchase a new phone. She was anxious about the process and had a lot of questions, which Joe answered with patience and clarity. He was super knowledgeable and professional. My mom loves her new phone and feels comfortable navigating all the new features. This was by far the most stress-free experience she has had purchasing a phone. I would definitely recommend this store - great customer service!

I walked in because my Note 8 was slowing down. Joe Dulka was so helpful! He worked with me and showed me how to use everything with my new V60. Second time going to this store and second time I felt conned (if it matters, the first time I didnt blame the store entirely because I had learned the sales rep who had assisted me was fired soon thereafter for whatever reason). I was charged a $35 device set up fee. The set up included watching the sales rep man-handle my new device and presumably bring me closer to my first insurance claim for a broken device. Throughout the sale I had asked what Id be charged for. If he did mention device set up service, then he mumbled it because I was not expecting that charge (and I dont see the value of said device set up service). Furthermore, I had asked him to stop what he was doing since it didnt seem to be working and asked what my options were. He tried the method that was jostling my phone (and my nerves) one more time even after my request (what he was trying still did not work that last attempt) and I pointed out that Im not happy about the way hes treating my new equipment.Two stars because at least theyre friendly, but definitely salesy (in the bad way. Not the I understand this is your job way). I wouldnt recommend for device purchases (or set up).
Andre is the best Verizon Cellular Sales professional Ive dealt with when purchasing a new cell phone. He provided options in simple terms, pricing, and within reasonable time, set up my new phone, made sure I was comfortable with its features and functionality. He is a true professional, not pushy, and is very knowledgeable of the products he sells at Verizon. I highly recommend him.

The personnel was friendly, but not pushy. Brandon was fantastic. His patience and professionalism far exceeded my expectations (have not always had positive experiences with other Verizon sites). He definitely takes an interest in his clients and means it when he says contact me if you have any questions. He is detail orient looking for what your needs are. It was a very good learning experience this afternoon. I lost my phone for 10 days. I had the local office representative helping me to locate my phone. After the airline found my phone and returned it I thought everything should be fine, but not realized that I need to get my phone line re-activated after being suspended while it was lost. The representative worked with the tech team and got all the details accomplished efficiently. I truly appreciate all the jobs that got taken care of so that I am able to return to my normal life.
Bought new IPhone yesterday and had the most pleasant experience with Dillon. He was not pushy, very patient, took his time in explaining the features . I never felt rushed. Another person came in who he had been working with before me, he was so respectful and kind to her. He gave me his business card and repeated many times to call if I had questions. Usually when I have been at this store in the past I did not like many of the sales people. Dillon is someone Verizon is lucky to have. When conversation ended he stood up and shook my hand. The personal care and attention that James Lee gave to my son and myself during the 2-day process of dealing with my sons phone was exemplary!!! I am in the field of dealing with the public daily. I know good Customer Service, he is in the top 5 of all the people that I have encountered. The first day my son and I were very tired, he made us feel comfortable. He gave us water and listened to us attentively. The next day, he came up with a wonderful option until we figured out what we were going to do with my sons phone. He really cared about us and our situation. More is needed like him.

James made the process of getting my new phone and tablet set up so seamless. He was patient with me as I had a million questions and he genuinely wanted to help. He was a funny guy that made sure I was satisfied with everything that was done during my visit. I definitely recommend coming to this location and seeing James in particular!
Really poor experience. Setup an upgrade for a birthday present for my wife. I was very clear with the sales rep that it was a surprise and we did the upgrade in a way so that we would not get any email confirmation etc. Then when the phones got to the store we were called twice to pick them up and the only message they left was on my wifes phone. Surprise was busted. When I went to the store the response that the rep gave me was Well trying to do this as a surprise is a courtesy and it is not in our job description. I dont think it was too much to ask to not call my wifes phone to maintain a surprise. I had even setup a time to come in to pick up the phone so that the rep I worked with would get credit for the sale - and look how that turned out for me. I will also note going to this location they will charge an extra $35 per line activation (in addition to the regular Verizon line activation charge). If you are going to charge an extra $35 for such personalized service that is fine but you need to deliver. A simple note on the account to not call when the phones arrives shouldnt be too hard.

He got me into a brand new iPhone with no hassle and didn’t push the issue, rather was clear with my options and walked me through the whole thing. I will certainly be back to this specific location in the future.

I went here last week and had an excellent experience. Dillon helped me pick out a new phone for my husband. He was polite and worked hard and quickly to get me what I needed. Dillon was very knowledgeable around all the Apple products and was very upfront about costs and how my bill would go up or down. It was a really great experience. I felt like I was being helped by an honest person.I went back a week later to get a phone for myself, as Dillon had explained to me that I could do an early upgrade and get a better phone. Dillon was out, but he lined up his colleague Gisbel to help me. Dillon had the phone I wanted ready for me when I got to the store. Gisbel and Brendon ( I think that was his name!) were both also great. They were both personable, and again upfront about costs and changes to my bill, etc. I noticed that every time a customer came in, the were ready to greet and help out quickly.Both of my stops to this store for new phones were positive.
I wanted to upgrade my phone and James was more than helpful. They didnt have the phone I wanted but he made sure they had it for me the very next day all I had to do was walk in and set it up. Best experience in a Verizon store hands down.

Brandon went above and beyond to make my experience here a breeze. He offered the best products for me without ever pressuring me to get things that I didn’t need. He worked with me months in advance for a preorder all the way up to changing my plan and going through the process of transferring my things to my new phone. I never thought I would be so grateful for a Verizon employee- but Brandon is exceptional.
Great service. Account managers are willing to listen and to really help customers. Account managers are not trying to sell you the most expensive package but giving you the best advice based on what you really need. What customer service should be.

I would only recommend going to this place on Washington Avenue! universal drive refused to transfer my data they just sold me a phone and kicked me out Akeem is the best! He took his time and got all my content over for free!!! I use to go to universal drive but got tired of waiting in lines and waiting for an hours yes really hours it feels like the DMV can’t even sit down while your waiting for hours DONT go to universal drive come to WASHINGTON AVE short wait times great service and good 🎶

Be very careful if you ever purchase a phone from this store... They have a scam where they sell you their own insurance policy and if you already get insurance through Verizon you get charged for both (even though the sales rep will ensure you that you will only be charged for one). It took me a few months to notice this double billing and they refused to make it right claiming that a large number of their customers want both insurance policies on their phone. Why anyone would want two policies that have the exact same coverage on their phone is beyond me.Just a warning to watch out for their shady sales tactics and be sure to carefully check your bill and all charges from this store. You will probably be better off buying your phones directly from Verizon and not this re-seller.

What a horrible experience we had, they do not deserve even one star. The staff there are either untrained and misinformed or they are just simply trying to scam you. Either way you should do yourself a favor and do your own due diligence of getting the right information through Verizon website or their costumer service. Otherwise you are going to be paying their “ Special” fees.

Usually when you walk into a phone/tech retail store, there is this underlying feeling that the employees think you’re a moron. Not this place. Troy took care of my 81 year-old father like he was family. We needed “bill stuff” explained, a line cut off, and a new phone (transfer his old-phone-stuff)…Needless to say, I anticipated an exhausting visit and it was 100% the opposite. (I am actually getting choked-up as I write this) Everything was explained and my Dad was taken care of in THE most perfect way. Thank you for all the above, as well as: the humor, patience and rejuvenating our faith in tech retail!

This is the best Verizon store in CT! The staff here are not only really well dressed and knowledgeable but also very approachable and engaging. Orane hooked it up today when I was changing sim cards from an old model to a new phone. I have previously gone to 2 different Verizon stores and they were not helpful at all. You can tell the whole team is passionate about what they are doing and are really there to benefit you! I highly recommend coming to this place for anything, they are looking out for your best interests! Thank you Orane !
