The best power equipment store I have ever been in! They carry multiple high end brands of equipment, parts and accessories and there prices are the best around! There staff is extremely nice and helpful and very knowledgeable.

This comment is based on my own experience with them. I dropped off my snow blower with a broken starting rope. They said they could fix it.A week later still not fixed. Finally they told me the recoil is damaged also.I told them ok please fix it. A month later it was still not fixed.After 5 weeks I decided to pick up my snow blower with work not done.I told them I’m going to fix myself.What I discovered is they used my snow blower recoil to fix another machine. Mine was not bent when I dropped it off. I believe they gave me back my machine with a different, damaged recoil from another machine. I do not recommend using Butler at all for servicing equipment. They do not appear to ever have the parts in stock and they do not seem to know how to fix equipment. They are not motivated to do any of this in a reasonable time.
Nice store layout. Equipment variety is decent for home owners, however, that customer service is horrible. Very unwelcoming. Andy Aros was mute, barely acknowledged my presence. Didn’t wear a mask...overall poor attitude that put a great dent in my experience with the store. Most likely would never return. I’d rather pay more elsewhere than to speak to a brick wall like Andy.I never write reviews but I was so beside myself that I was motivated here. See for yourself. Hopefully he changes.Returned a month later on hopes that BE would present themselves better. Much better experience. John I believe...and his brother, both owners were much more personable and made my purchase a quick and easy process. Both gentlemen reached out to me and apologized for my first experience at their store and sought to rectify the situation and to ensure that it doesn’t occur again. They didn’t have to reach out but they did and much respect was given there on my end.
I have been doing business with Butler for a few years now and I cant say enough about them. Awesome sales staff, very knowledgeable and can get you whatever is needed. Service center is skilled and gets the job done right the first time. All around great place to do business with whether your a contractor or a homeowner.

I had a bad experience in the past installing my new plow but the owner Tim step up and take care of it that kind of let me know that he really care about customer service he did take care all my issues that I had I really like the product in the performance of my plow unfortunately I bought a new truck I needed to transfer the plow to my new truck I called for it in the estimate to transfer de plow to my new truck and There we got two months later I haven’t heard from the manager to give me a price I decide to take my business somewhere else and I bought a new fisher plow so far so good no issues that’s why I read it 4 stars The guys in the front decks are very friendly and they have A lot of experience they can tell you in the spot was wrong with your tool or what kind of tool you need for the job
If you want good quality tools Butlers is where you go, not a department store.

Phone Butler and a real live human being actually answers, states his name (Tony) and instantly answers your question. No automated system telling you their options have recently changed or listing 10 different departments you can access with yours often being near the annoying end. A person says hello and helps you. Amazing! Moreover, Butler is an incredibly well stocked, conveniently located business with plenty of free, handicap accessible parking and totally helpful staff. A pleasure to do business with!

....rented a Yanmar mini-ex and they were able to deliver right to me. They even gave us a tutorial on its operation. When I was finished I called them and they came back and picked it up. These guys know their stuff. Id use them again without hesitation.
The selection is great, the prices are what you would expect (you get what you pay for), and the staff is knowledgeable.......But if I could suggest one thing.....Please get someone to answer that phone at all times, nothing more irritating than getting a recording from the beginning and then to not have anyone answer at any department for two days. Your sales would increase with someone answering that phone. You have the right product, you have the right everything.....Get someone on that phone. Besides, the guys doing the work are too busy to answer it while they are working on other things.

I have been a long time customer of Butlers. I mainly shop at the store for parts for my fleet of many machines. I have been dealing with Steve in parts for many years. He goes above and beyond getting what I need, always gives great advice. Im glad to see they are dealing with Exmark, and Boss Plows again. I highly recommend them just for Steves knowledge alone.I had a not so great experience a few weeks back, with the other parts employee, and lets just say,If you have not done business with them before, make sure you ask for Steve.

Great experience! Had scheduled a equipment rental (lawn aerator), however some decided to do repairs on it last min(thats why 4 stars and not 5). Since my rental was already scheduled, the sales manager hooked me up with upgraded equipment, and then had someone bring it to my house and handle the job for me. Butler equipment definitely will be getting my lawn and equipment business.
Pretty good experience. They were great when I had some problems with my Boss Plow. They fixed it right there in the parking lot. The only complaint I have is getting through to the parts department by phone can be challenging sometimes.
I didnt have a model number or a part number or anything. It was a 25 year old snowblower!They matched up my my part, took great care of me and even gave me a little lesson! Two thumbs up for the parts department. Thank you Mark .
I recently purchased a Toro TimeMaster 30 lawn mower from Butler Equipment. The staff was knowledegable and assisted me from start to finish. When I picked up my mower, it was fully prepped and in great working condition. They even followed up a few weeks later with a phone call to make sure I was a happy customer. Butler earned a repeat customer!
These are nice people. They not only fix stuff, they let you know when it is not worth fixing. Also, they reminded me in the summer to get my snowblower serviced so I would not be in trouble when winter arrives.
If they dont get rid of the cancer at service department they will be out of business sooner than later never going back thanks for the ride bill🤪

The owner has been very helpful in getting a mower of mine back in working order ... they dont build them like they used to ... so it is great to have someone locally who can make a mower work again! I would recommend them to anyone ... it was a good find ... I looked at area dealers and they were the most responsive in fixing the problem to my full satisfaction!

Bad customer services only want to take care of commercial account. Bought equipment there have warranty try to fix the equipment take 3 weeks to a month and have bad services. Never want to buy anything there again or services.
High pricing, no one knows anything without the computer. Bad attitudes from workers, need to be more customer friendly. Need more educated workers
Not a good experience....they do not stand behind there service regardless of what they say. My guess is that if youre a commercial account theyll take care of you, as an individual consumer youre best to go elsewhere. Bad outfit.

Steve is the best parts guy in the business. I only use Butler for parts but his knowledge for his job is outstanding and goes the extra mile to get you exactly what you want. I wish these guys still were a Boss and Exmark dealer, Husqvarna does not make good machines.

I purchased a Husqvarna rider mower less than a year ago. They did give me a good price, but when I had an issue with the gas/reverse jamming up, they failed to return my calls for service. The only way I could speak directly to a person was by calling the sales line, otherwise, I was put into voicemail. When I did get to talk to someone, the service guy was condescending in tone when I asked about the details of my warranty. I will not be getting it service there to say the least. This is a prime example of customer no service.

I recently purchased an Ariens 28” SHO Snowblower from Butler Equipment. Prior to purchasing the snowblower, I had numerous questions that Tony the Salesman Answered. Tony was very patient and knowledgeable. Upon arriving at the store I quickly found Tony and thanked him for his patience and quickly sealed the deal on an awesome Snowblower just in time for the Blizzard. I’ll be back in the Spring to buy a tractor from Tony/Butler

I had a bad experience after The plow technician couldn’t answer some of my questions and concerns of things that were taken of my truck I had to put back he didn’t put it back the way it was and also he was working underneath of my truck and he went inside my truck rolling all over of the interior of the truck with the sand and debris from The floor he makes marks all over my leather seats and the door This is a $75,000 truck just pulled out from the dealer I wasn’t too happy about it technician start cursing me and saying races comments at the point where he tried to fight me He did this in front of the boss the manager and the owner of the company and he still working there I’m old customer I bought all my lawn care equipment my plow and I give them a lot of business I am not too happy about it and the technician did a good job with the plow and sander But he is ruining all of the interior of my truck and cause a very pricey damage plus he was very unrespectful and just the fact that he tried to fight me and he was cursing me and being racist with his comments it’s just an Unacceptable

I had been a long time client. I had brought them a slew of equipment to be repaired. The equipment belong to my Fathers estate.The first piece, I had to leave a deposit.They didnt know me.I did.The more items, I brought..no deposit up front.Now,I have no choice to look for other equipment repairs.However,the techs are highly trained.
Very busy. 2 to 4 weeks for a snowblower repairs. Hope it doesnt snow.

In previous reviews I gave a much lower star rating, that being said over time Ive had to do business with butler equipment and have found that some fundamental customer service issues I had experienced in the past are no longer present . Its one thing to offer great customer service, its another to win over a customer who has had less than a stellar opinion of a business. Over the course of several transactions they slowly won my business back .they are and will continue to be my first choice if I ha e a need for equipment clean rental units with low hours at fair market value . New and used units are plentiful and always available
