Guys, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR A GREAT HAIRCUT!!! I was from out of town and really needed a haircut bad. I walked in and they were able to accommodate me despite it being late on a Friday.the haircut i got is amazing. Nick listened to what I wanted, and didn’t rush the process. I showed him pictures of previous haircuts I’ve had that I liked and explained what I wanted.He took his time, paying attention to detail and gave me a great fade!! I Even watching the other barbers with their clients, I could tell that they all do a great job and really care about what they are doing for people.Oh and my wife loved it and I got a number of compliments from coworkers! a good hair just makes you feel so good and gives you confidence! If you are looking for a great haircut CHECK THESE GUYS OUT! And ask for Nick! ( but I’m sure everyone here is great)

I have been going to Tommy’s, before it was Tommy’s. Tommy and Nick have seen my kids grow up. It’s unreal how great this place is. Great conversations. Great haircuts. Even better people. 5 Star place.

Nick has been my barber for many years and always does a great job! He also cuts both my sons’ hair and is very patient with my youngest who is autistic. I have followed Nick to multiple shops over the years and won’t go anywhere else. I always leave looking sharp!

I walked into this shop for the first time a bit nervous because of COVID19. However, Nick greeted me warmly and I immediately felt comfortable. He was very gentle and thorough and I got the perfect haircut. Just what I needed for now!

My first time experience here. I had Nick and thought my cut was just okay. It felt a bit rushed as he was assisting the woman barber next to me on how to cut that guys hair. I was surprised I didnt get a straight razor shave on the back of my neck like a lot of other barbers nor asked how I want the back done (I like it tapered). My sideburns also werent touched. The fade was just okay too

Tommys the man. Come here every 2 weeks for a cut. Warm, comfortable, great fade. Also respectful of covid guidelines.

Ive been coming here for a few years now and everything about the shop is top-notch. Each of the guys are personable, accommodating, and provide the cut you are looking for, no matter what it is. The online booking system is convenient and the addition of Mitch to the team has been fantastic.

Been here about three times. They all give great cuts but I definitely found my guy this time in Mitch. Professional, Friendly, and Dedicated to making you look good. He went above and beyond by getting my beard and brows, even considering I was a last minute walk-in. I will be back for him.

Hidden Gem in the Heart of West Hartford!!!I moved to West Hartford 3 years ago, I endured 3 mediocre overpriced hair cuts from the local competitors before I found Tommy Ray’s. I’m just glad I didn’t suffer longer!If your looking for a great haircut, look no further. This is a modern barbershop with an old-school vibe. They book by appointment only, but bailed me out of a few times (for poor planning on my part) by getting me in later that day!

Sorry to hear about that last customers experience. You need to know that thats a rare experience. Ive been a customer there for years and have never waited more than 5 minutes, with most appointments being on time or a few minutes early. Id suggest doing yourself a favor and giving them another try.

Great guys running low key, clean, place that you always walk away from feeling clean and fresh. Old school shave, Tommy takes his time and pays attention to detail. Call for an appointment, he fills up.

Will not be going back nor recommending this place to any of my friends. I had a 1:30 PM appointment today. The guy made me wait 20 mins with out even acknowledging or apologizing for making me wait while he had a nice and slow conversation with the current client in the chair. He didnt even seem phased or cared that I had an appointment or that I was waiting. Whats the point of even scheduling an appointment then if there is no priority or importance? I get maybe 5-10 mins and an apology or something but he didnt even look at me- come on. I was really looking forward to checking out a new barber shop in town. Go here if you like waiting for your scheduled appointment and being ignored.
