By far my favorite barbershop I have been too. I started going here back in 2019 getting my hair cut by Chris the owner. Great guy, great atmosphere and you are getting top nothch haircuts here every time. Highly recommend this barber shop and continue to go here even though I no longer am local.

Chris has been doing my cuts for years now. I will only go to him. I travel all the way from Rhode Island just to get cut by Chris. His shop is small so you dont feel crowded like some other places. Cool vibe. Feels like your chillin with the boys.If he put a keg in there Id never leave.

Chris had the patience of a saint with my 16 yr old. Not only was his hair so overgrown, supercurly but he also had no idea what he wanted. We were the last appointment of the day and he took at least 25 minutes to consult and figure out a plan. Thank you for such a great job.

My favorite place to get a cut. Easy app to schedule haircut and Chris is great to chat with. Two chairs in the shop and a nice modern vibe. Cost is average, better than salons for sure. Probably better for men and kids, but he can do most any cut.

I’ve been going to Chris for about 2 years now and I simply won’t go elsewhere. Conveniently located in Elmwood, Chris provides top notch cuts and trims with a jovial and inviting atmosphere. Can’t say enough good things here!

My first visit to Elmwood Barbershop was great! Chris listened to what I wanted -- and then delivered exactly what I hoped for! Am definitely a long-term customer!

I was very pleasantly surprised to find a barber who knows how to cut hair with scissors! Chris did a nice job on my hair, and hes a great conversationalist, too. Theres a friendly, down-to-earth ambience about the place that will make me want to come back. Youll need to get an appointment (only two barber chairs), but its well worth the wait. The shop is located next to Sams Food Store, and there is convenient parking nearby.

True professionals here. I go here because both barbers are top of their class. Chris and Tyler are experts in getting the perfect cut. I believe in looking my best thus I go here for my cut!

Chris used to work at Patsys in the West Hartford Center, which is walking distance from my work. He recently opened up his own shop (Elmwood) and I now go out of my way to see him. He not only gives a great cut at a reasonable price for the area ($25 for mens standard cut), but hes down to earth and easygoing. I can really appreciate a barber who remembers past conversations as it shows a sincere interest in building a relationship with clients. Its also kid friendly.Take note: he only has two chairs in this new shop, and Im sure appointments fill up quick! Its also cash only (ATM within walking distance), and free, off-street parking is easily accessible.

Chris is a true professional, who has been cutting my hair for about 3 years now. I drive all the way from Southington, just to see Chris. I have also witnessed Chris working with kids, and I can genuinely say kids love having Chris cut their hair, and Chris is awesome and patient with kids!

Recently moved to Elmwood area after living in New Jersey all my life. I had the same barber for a little over 20 years. After moving here needless to say I have had a hard time finding someone to cut my hair like my old barber. After trying out a handful of barbers over the past year... and after two haircuts from Chris ... I have finally found my guy. I couldnt have been more satisfied by his Craftsmanship, professionalism and his down to earthiness!So...
