I had a great experience from start to finish. I needed a bigger car since I was going to start watching my Grand Children a couple of days a week and they brought so much stuff you think they were staying for a week!I purchased a jeep which is just perfect. John and Linda were able to get me a good rate on the vehicle so financing was not a problem. The car was immaculate when I picked it up 4 months ago and I have had no problems it runs great!I would definitely buy my next car there!

Its not!!! No follow through on paper work. Never received my warranty policy. Ive been calling the place for a year now. Very pleasant. Looking into it.. Will get back to me. Guess what??? Never ever does. No follow through or interest in resolving a problem that is obviously their error. . Drove off the lot, within a week, battery died. Had AAA replace dead battery. Called Kelsey. Said they would maul me a check for half of the battery. Never saw it. Repeat phone calls. Manager states, it is going out today.. lied. Going up in person tomorrow regarding protection plan that their paperwork was never submitted therefore Im paying my for a plan that they never placed plus paying for my repairs. Ill let you know if they own up and offer resolution tomorrow.

These guys treated me like royalty until I signed those papers to buy my car. I had problems from the beginning. John told me he would take care of everything the car needed and he lied. A week after I got the car I needed brakes. FRONT AND BACK! He told me that I did not have a warranty and that he could do it for a discounted price because I bought the car from him. Well I got the work done with my mechanic because he could do it for less and more importantly I trust him. After he got done with the brakes he told me that I had a leak in my engine. I took it back to John and he told me that the leak was not that bad but that if I wanted, he could take care of it for me at a discounted price. (No thank you). Well what really ticked me off was when my friend, who sells cars but did not have the one I wanted, told me that the car should not have been sold with an oil leak, according to CT DMV, and that the brakes should have been done before the car was sold. (Something about a safety check law?) By law the car was warranted for 90 days because of how much money I spent ($11,950!). All told, this was the worst experience of any transaction I have ever conducted. Do NOT trust this guy or buy from him. No good at all.

I just purchased a truck from this dealership, and I must say it was a great experience. There was no pressure, and everyone who assisted me were totally professional. My boyfriend and I were in the market to trade in his old, but trusty Jeep liberty for a Toyota Tacoma (his work truck is a Tacoma so he knows they are a very reliable vehicle), so we went to Kelseys Auto Sales and within the week they had a Tacoma for us to look at and see if it was the one we wanted, and it was! Do your homework! Just as any other purchase, do your research. Look at other car prices in the area. Be sure to thoroughly check your paperwork before signing anything. Get the negotiated car price and additional insurance coverage in writing on the day of deposit and make sure it matches the final paperwork. Very friendly staff.

Awful experience. They seem welcoming and friendly but their business is shady to say the least. I purchased an Acura for my daughter this summer from this place. They guaranteed the vehicle was safe and had no issues. Vehicle starting having issues the very moment I left the LOT! My husband and I went back there and literally dropped off the car and demanded to void the deal altogether. I had read a few bad reviews prior to coming here, but I thought I would give it a try anyway. Seems like a great group of guys to hang out with, but I would recommend not doing business with them. Not sure what their angle is, but something about their cars seem...suspect.

Finally, a small dealer that not only is educated in the Auto business, but also has their own mechanics in house. 5 Stars all around. I know this sounds weird, but I actually had a pleasant experience buying a car, and I will not hesitate to buy another one from the dealership. Thank you

I have been shopping for a used vehicle in West Hartford for the past 3 weeks. I found Kelseys online and when I stopped by the staff was friendly and the buying process was easy. This is a first-class operation.

Stay away from this place! They sold me a car that needed work done every week (not exaggerating), and dragged their feet like crazy so Id miss the opportunity to get a full refund (past 30 days). Like a fool, I went back to trade it for a different car, and they tried to delay the transfer of my old warranty so they could get my old car fixed for them for free. That is, get their car fixed under the warranty I was paying for. And of course, not long after getting the new car, the timing belt snapped and it needed a new engine. I also found out the car had bolts missing.These guys are crooks. Theyll overcharge you, cheat you out of money wherever possible, commit warranty fraud, and stick you with an absolute piece of junk. Or take months at a time while saying theyre fixing your car, and just leave you with no car at all.

Love this place. Just so disappointed that the service wasnt too great. They lost my original key, the day my vehicle was supposed to get picked up. Yeah I got another key made but I have a van, and I have to struggle with 3 children to open the slide doors because I cant automatically. Shouldnt I have a replacement key and remote so the vehicle works properly. I just wouldnt go through the hassle again

I used to be an employee at Kelseys. John and Linda are the owners, its funny how John gives this place a five star review and Chris was a salesman there and gives a five star review. The truth about this place is this they treat you like a god until they get your money, after that you are a piece of garbage, just like the cars they sell, they band aid the cars together and the warranties they sell you dont cover half of what they tell you .My advice to anyone who goes there, do your homework they are rated a d- on bbb . Check with ct.dmv dealer and repairs and find out how many complaints they have past and present. They are reported on check systems for to many bounced checks. My advice again, stay away, but if you do buy there, have your mechanic look at it first. I wouldnt even give one star but had no choice on google

Worst car purchusing experience ever. These people made my life a living hell. They asked my to lie to the bank just to make more on the car I was trying to purchase. Failed to get the car registered and failed to take the proper steps necessary stated in the contract. They misplaced my visa card two times and had the car taken away because they did not think it was insured (which I was able to prove was false, I sent proof of insurance and everything)I called a laywer, after they realized the error they had made, and the bank put the heat on them about the lies, they canceled the entire sale. They were able to do this because they never followed through with the paperwork as they had claimed.They never apologized to me about their shady practices and gimmicks but did acknowledge their errors. They justified these things by saying theyve had bad people in the past and when I asked them why Im paying the price for other peoples mistakes they had no answer.I have no idea why they treated me in such a way but I will never take my business to a company like this again.

I will not rate this because i had the worst exprience in this place. i had called this place and john had told me i could put how much money down that i can now these people know that my car had got stolen and i needed a car A.S.A.P because i worked two jobs thsnks to these asswholes one of my jobs fired me. my job was an hr away from where i live and now idk how i am going to find another job because how baf the economy is however, i wouldnt say i am poor but i dont have much money to give all i had was 540 dollars. first john told me i could come in and put how much i can, then when i went the expected more which that leads to chris. just to remind all this guy is rude as hell kept throwing my papers down had an attitute. didnt like this guy at all. i had ask for a toyota camry they didnt even tell me till i got there that they gave me a toyota corolla, 😡. however these asswhole didnt even let me have the car i gave up and wanted my money back because chris told me if i had 500 dollars more i could have the car. then when i sighned the papers chris never explained in full dtails about all the agreements i wanted my money back i had put down 350 then 190 they only gave me 342 . f****** fraud ass people. i felt like smaking chris in the face i advise everybody to stay away THERE FRAUD.... kept switching everything up theres more but, i am so mad that i dont even want to keep going, 😠😡😡😡😡

I wouldve given it a negative five star if I couldve. John Lundell is the owner along with Linda Cavanna. Funny how he is giving himself five stars. Apparently he is the only one, aside from Linda that is, who thinks so highly of himself. This guy is a complete crook and Linda backs him all the way. Where do I begin? My nephew purchased a vehicle from Kelseys auto, Advanced auto wholesalers, in August 2013 for $7,981 and he wound up paying $2000 extra in conveyance, origination, and some other fees that he did not make us aware of until we had to sign the title for motor vehicles. I decided to give Mr. Lundell the benefit of the doubt (I know, Im a fool) and trust that he had my best interest at heart. (as he and Linda stated) Then when my nephew finally took possession of the vehicle, the car broke down the very first day. We brought the car back and Mr. Lundell assured us that this was unusual and that he would fix it right away. Well, THREE MONTHS go by and all he is doing is giving me the run around, sending me to first Linda, then his service writer then his mechanic then..... I just got so fed up especially when I found out that he was doing this to MOST of his customers! I requested a refund and he said that my opportunity had passed for that. Furious, I towed the car to my mechanic and he told me that, first of all the car was not safe for road operation, and that I needed a transmission! WHAT THE HECK! Buyer BEWARE! This guy along with his sidekick are CROOKS. DONT BUY!
