Like my husband said about the poor service and quality when we ask for a copy of our tax information for 2 years this is a service that we have already paid for and now they are trying to charge us $50 for 4 pages a little expensive to pusha button on a computer and turn around and get off your rear end and grab it off the printer with We have also asked for Anne hartz herself to give us a phone call and no phone call at all unprofessional not happy

Had a pretty rough experience back in April but talked with Nick and he has been very apologetic about it all. Has been a very big help with the situation. I still believe the mistake that was made could have been easily avoided but he still made me fee a lot better about going back.

This is the first time using Ann and her company for our taxes. We definitely had the best service from her and her staff. Questions always answered, emails always returned. I had done out taxes for years, but found this year extremely challenging for a number of reasons. We needed to make some changes and Ann was very helpful and very professional in working me through said changes! I could add more! Very reasonably priced. Front office people very friendly and professional!Highly recommended. We will be back for our 2021 taxes!

My fiancé and I had our taxes prepared this evening and neither of us have had a more unprofessional experience with a company before. Our preparer Fred used the r-word multiple times, first saying she will just stare at me like Im a r-word when asked if my fiancé and I should switch seats so he could see me better when going through my paperwork, and second calling my companys HR department r-words for the way they prepared my W2s. Any questions we asked were rudely interrupted or answered with arrogance, making us uncomfortable to ask any other questions. He also swore throughout the entire appointment whenever his computer gave him an error saying words I cant even include in this review. We honestly thought we were on a hidden camera show because of how unbelievable he was acting. I would recommend literally any other company besides this one. I cannot believe employees like this are tolerated at your company. One star is way too generous! Do better!Edit: Ann reached out to us the following morning and expressed her shock and disappointment regarding the situation. After listening to our recollection she informed us that action would be taken on her end and offered us a discount on a future service.

I have been through a difficult time with my business. Shelia has helped me get through that time and I rest easy knowing that she is just a call or email away. She helped me set up a new chart of accounts and took the pain out of my business. Hiring them has enabled me to reduce my office staff by half. They are simply the best I have found for my taxes and daily activities that I need for my business. Hiring them enables me to focus on making money and taking care of my customers. **update** I got a call from one of the guys in marketing. I appreciate his call and our conversation as well as him trying to make the situation right.Ann messed up our taxes the 2019 season because she “hit the wrong button”. Wasn’t impressed. Do not recommend.

We had been using online tax sites for years, but decided we should find a local human being we could trust instead. Dave Ramsey listed Ann as a trusted pro and that was good enough for us. We made an appt., showed up with our docs, and an hour later had our taxes done, e-filed and neatly printed/stored in a labeled folder — Zip-Bang! Ann was the same cost as the supposed “free” sites, but she’s a professional CPA and it shows...quite a bargain. We’ll never use “Turbo” anything again.

The report that you get at the end is nice and neat, and for the first time I was able to look it over and understand what it said.However, my preparer made a number of omissions and some other errors that would have cost me a lot in taxes had I not gone over all her work myself, and even then I got a letter from the Iowa DOR later saying I overpaid.Edit in response to the owners reply below: In point of fact, I did *not* catch the errors, hence why I got a letter from the Iowa DOR. And whats more, since then I have found over $4000 in other deductions that the DOR also missed. So now I need to file an amended return.

I highly recommend Ann! She was professional knowledgeable and best of affordable!! Our taxes were in and out in less than 30 minutes! She advised us what we could to do better our tax return and explained some of the tax frollies we were struggling with in years past.
