When you got the car with 6/8 tanks of gas, you are required to return with the same level. Of course they won’t reimburse for the extra, but you’ll have to pay their highly priced gas if it’s lower than 6/8. You must learn how to be accurate when adding gas… 🙂Btw, where is my receipt when you promised to send it to my email? 👋

I got to walk right in and was helped right away only to find out that they didnt have the style car I had reserved, their solution was to up sell me an extra $30 a day for a different vehicle that wouldnt be ready for another 30 minutes. Not sure what the point of a reservation is if they dont reserve anything, the up selling for a smaller car was the icing on the cake

The process was easy. The only concern my bf and I had is how well the vehicle was disinfected or if at all because the windows had children hand prints over them. We dont have kids. Also the moment we got there for a rental we saw the car was getting washed from the outside so I dont think they cleaned the inside. The car also showed a battery discharge warning sign the moment we started driving.

The people were friendly, and I met a regular Hertz customer who said she adores the team there.My experience was that it took a *full hour* to get my rental vehicle, despite reserving a vehicle online two days prior. I would have given it less stars for this because whatever joy I may have had getting prepared to drive out of town was erased by standing in the ever-warming heat of the morning sun, waiting for... not sure what. I finished up the paperwork within 15 minutes, and then waited 45 minutes for the vehicle to come around front. This is not a busy airport location, but a local town alternative.Still, the employees were ever friendly, and seemed to be doing their best. Plus, the vehicle was clean and full of fuel, ready to go (eventually).

I travel a lot for work and this was the best car rental experience Ive ever had. The gentlemen working the counter were quick, polite, and professional and I was in and out in minutes. Plus I had to call and extend my rental by a day and it was so fast and painless. It used to be that I would rent from whomever had the best deal, but this experience has made me a loyal Hertz customer for life. Look forward to working with these guys again in the future!

So of course there was no car available for me even though I had a reservation. The one employee that was there told me it was best if I cancel or I could wait another 1hr even though I had made a reservation.

They had an issue getting me a car on time, I was suppose to pick up at 8:30am I was there until 10am.Eric was very nice and he did the best he could.The car was nice and the price was right.I think management need to plan a little better especially if customers have timed reservations, I was delayed, thankfully I was able to make it work.Word of advice..... Allow your self some time just in case.

The rental van had the “maintenance required” light on, I asked the rep about it and he said it was fine because their computer system is not aligned with the vehicles system. He insisted as long as the check engine light was not on the vehicle is safe. No thanks!Great business practice, Hertz.

I should have learned my lesson the first time I rented here two years ago. That time they didnt have a car for my reservation until 4 hours after my reserved time.....I figured, well ok every business has a bad day from time to time.So I decide to give them another shot this past weekend. Even though there were tons of people in the office on Friday when I picked up I got my car only about 30 minutes late. No problem. I go to drop it off on Monday morning and there are 7 people in front of me on the sign in list. I have to get to work so I handed the guy my key and said just email me the receipt. I was there on time to drop off the car. Fast forward to about noon today and I get a charge on my cc for 20 dollars more than the rental agreement. Strange....so I look at the receipt and these A......S charge me for two extra hours at 10 dollars an hour! I feel like disputing the charge on cc I am so furious. Completely unprofessional. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION!

All I can say is, they try their best to get you on your way, but every time Ive reserved an economy car, which its been 3 times these past 3 months, their computers accept your reservation and when it comes time to pick up the car, they have to search their list of cars that are supposed to be there and run down to their storage lot and find out the reservation are over booked and the cars that are supposed to be there arent there yet and you know how hard there trying to get you on your way. Thats the best thing I can say about this Hertz.

Hertz made it easy and cost effective to rent with them. I saved over $200 with Hertzs online reservation process. I even had a competitor tell me that the SUV I had requested wouldnt be available. So when I arrived at Hertz it was all too sweet to be in and out of there with my rental in under 20 minutes. Great employees and the vehicle was clean and ready.

Facility could be improved in my opinion (defined parking areas, more space to rotate cars around, bigger and modern office, etc.), but the staff seemed to work with what they got to their best ability. Hats off to the staff and their experience with all the different types of rental situations that I witnessed when picking up and dropping off my car (leisure, insurance, business, etc.). Also, I want to thank the employee that insisted on dropping me off to my home after knowing that I didnt have a ride home, despite my close proximity to this Hertz location and the workload present in the office. That seemed going above and beyond to me.Update: Last two visits resulted in a few hours of wait due to lack of cars (one leisure and one from Norm Reeves Honda). Its out of the control of the reps at this location, but several customers waiting for cars for hours is unacceptable. In my last visit particularly, the few cars that came in were turned around so quickly, that my car was presented to me still uncleaned- dirty floors, dirty windshield, dusty dashboard- and possibly overdue on maintenance (maintenance reminder sticker had a mileage that was approximately 1,000 miles overdue). Others at least had their cars given to them still soaking wet from the quick hose wash. I had to let an older woman that arrived after me get into the next available car because she had to pee and had to make a long trip back to Atlanta (she needed the car more than me). Another familys roadtrip was being delayed. Another was being denied the car class they reserved. All this while standing most of the time (13 customers and four chairs) and listening to a constantly-ringing phone (the representatives were constantly in and out- mostly out). Overbooking seems to be more prevalent at this location nowadays due to the contracting of rentals to the local car dealerships and location (only Hertz in the area thats not at an airport). Hertz definitely needs to address this with more staff and more cars (on top of a better facility). It saddens me as a loyal Hertz customer for almost a decade that I have to downgrade this particular location to two stars- and thats only for sympathy for the poor workers behind the desk who probably wanted to quit that day.

The reason why customer service is terrible is because of how unorganized this place is. Nothing is ready. Even though I reserved a car in advance, there was no car ready for me by the time I came. Seems like they give away cars that customers have reserved for in advance.I had to wait almost an hour to be helped, and then another 30 minutes for them to clean out a car that was just returned... issues like this are bound to happen if the staff are unorganized. The staff are nice, but how can you give the best customer service if you don’t prepare for success? The daily rate for the vehicle I chose was affordable, but it was not worth the trouble I went through. I suggest to rent a car elsewhere.

Went to pick up our rental today at this location. The guy that helped us, barely even spoke to me, until it was time to tell us that the car we had reserved online in advance was not there. He conveniently had a more expensive car for us though. He didnt offer to give us the upgrade at the same price due to THEIR error. He said $20 more for 2 days. I told him no. I dont care about an extra $20. I care about them not having what we reserved and him trying to rip us off. I asked him to give us the upgrade at the same price. He said no, that hed get chewed out and that it should be $40 more and he was already giving us half off. I said fine, call me when the original car I reserved is there. He never called. After leaving, I looked online and found that the car he was trying to rent us was $3 more per day than the original 😂. Never again Hertz.

I was here for 3 hours to rent a car... I had a reservation appointment .... I only came here because unfortunately this is the car rental my insurance works with... they don’t work with the customers... if there’s an issue with something they don’t help you out... they just say it’s cooperate policy or I can’t do that... corporate needs to update their policies... all the mid-size cars were unavailable or out of service... if you wanted to upgrade a car they were going to charge extra... it took 30 mins for them to clean the car and have it ready for me... I lost work time/pay for being here 3 hrs... its hassles renting here... go to a different place

Customer Service a Huge DisappointmentI prepaid and made my reservation for a minivan for a long weekend more than a week in advance. I got there at my reservation time (10:30 am). Not only did they not have the vehicle I paid for (or anything of similar size, but they kept telling me to just wait while they called around for one. By 11:45 am they said that if I wanted a van, I would have to go pick it up myself from Ontario when I reserved my rental out of West Covina. After asking how this seemed reasonable to ask a customer to drive 40 minutes out of the way after already failing to fill the prepaid reservation, I received the following answer:“Well it comes down to this… do you want it or not”?Needless to say, I went to budget, and they were able to get me a 12-passenger van quickly so that I could get on my way.Adding insult to injury…. I was sent back to that Hertz this week by the dealership where I dropped off my wife’s car and witnessed the same employee talking to people like that on the phone and in person. I don’t know how organizations in a business where customer service is so crucial can have people like this working for them after so many people take the time to provide their feedback on these negative experiences… smh…

We booked a car before we left England. The guys in the office at this location were very good indeed and everything went well with the collection of the vehicle. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip, drove over a thousand miles and the car was faultless. Love the cheap gasoline in the USA. Oh and the drop-off at the airport was very good also, although I did miss a turn which added a little bit more to the pre-flight stress levels.I would not hesitate to use this company again.

The gentleman answered and took my phone number down and said he would call me back and never did! They take a long time you help you out. The excuse is always that they are understaffed. Called for a reservation and was placed on hold for 1 hour. I actually drove to the location made my reservation and showed my phone to the manager. He apologized and mention that they have problems with the phones but it always happens. Expect to wait over an hour to either drop off or pick up car. Go somewhere else.

Horrible...Let me tell you about the 1st and last time i got to Hertz.1st, the selection. I booked an economy car specifically because of my long journey (+1,200 miles). I selected my car online and the Pay Now option to secure my options and price. Great. I arrive and the manager there politely told me that he wishes that the website would not let people book eco cars. Why? Because he only has 2. So, although I reserved an eco car, i was not given one.2nd, the misleading contract. When I arrived, they told me I needed to put down $200 dollars for deposit. No where did i see this. I was told its in the fine print...yes.. thats what a customer likes to hear.3rd, the inflexibility. I needed to change my pick-up time about 3 hours because of work. You would THINK they can accommodate. NOPE. Called store location and they said that because I booked online with Pay Now they cant help me. I called their Online support and they told me that if i wanted to change it, they have to charge me an additional $30 dollars for the rental!! Ridiculous!4th, the time. After already being upset about paying the additional money to pick up my car that i did not want, I rushed over during my lunch to pick up my car. Pick up time was 2:15, i arrived 2:20 and my car was not ready yet. It took close to 45 mins to get ready.Moral Of The Story: You are better off paying a little more for Enterprise or something else then dealing with the amount of horrible customer service I had. Car itself was good, but this isnt a review for Nissan.

I only ever come to this location because it’s the closest one that AAA goes through for car rentals. However my experience yesterday was beyond horrible. The man that helped me treated me extremely bad. He spoke to me as if I was a 2 year old child which I did not appreciate and when I told him that he was even more rude. Booked my rental through third party and the car that I chose isnt available so I need to pay extra for the upgrade. This happened to me to other rental company and upgrade is for free. Secondly, I ask for a pick up service, called 3x. 1. Got my contact details, said theyll call back. No calls after and hour. 2. I called, was put on hold for 12 minutes 3. They got my contact details again, nobody came. I missed my appointment and charged for an upgrade. Great! I dont blame the staff at West Covina branch, bec theyre undermanned. Management should monitor their daily transactions so theyll know when to add more staff to go to work on a certain day and time. Oh! They gave me a dirty car, they offered to clean it but I was so freaking late because of waiting for the pick up that never came. Dropped the car a few days after, they booked me a lyft to bring me home. Thanks for the staff but Ill never use Hertz again.

This place is awful, car selection is not good, the cars are filthy and old. The Maxima I rented had 57,000 miles in it and it needed service at 50,000 miles which was not performed. It also had Colorado plates and was full of scratches and dings. Customer service is horrible, they make you wait for a long time on the phone or on the counter, even though you already have a reservation. Dont call close to closing time, they dont have any cars available--so they say because they dont want to go the extra mile to help you. Avoid this place at all cost, there are way better places to rent from in the area.

They called me 1 hours before my reservation to tell that there was no car available for me..There is a shuttle that can pick up the customer up to 5 miles from the store. I was 5.2miles so I took a bus to stay within the range because they could not pick me up, and then took them almost 1h to arrive at the bus stop although we agreed on a pickup time.I tend to read documents before I sign, so the staff was incredible rude and pushy while I did so; then gave me a dirty car to complete my unpleasant experience.
