My first two experiences here were perfect! They have reasonable prices and are pretty timely. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for my last experience. I had booked an appointment for 3:30 and felt as if my nail tech rushed and paid little attention to detail. I pointed out a few things I had liked to be fixed (one of which was a divot on the side of my nail) and was told to come back when it breaks. I was then charged for another nail that had fallen off from the last set, which ended up being crooked and significantly shorter than the others. Although these issues may seem picky, I expect nothing less from queen nails since I have had such great experiences previously. Sad to say, I will not be going back.
The only reason they’re getting 2 stars is because my previous experiences were decent. My most recent and last visit is another story. First of all, and this has happened every time I’ve been there- they don’t even acknowledge you much less greet you when you come in, after a few minutes someone would yell “can I help you” from across the room in a tone of voice that doesn’t sound like they want to help or provide a paid service at all. Also, even if you make an appointment the wait time it’s ridiculously long, after waiting so long the least I want is the technician to question my choice of design and color which they did this last time. I was there for an acrylic fill and he complained I had waited too long to get the fill, uhm excuse me for having a challenging work schedule, he was also on his phone a lot while working on my nails, super unprofessional (I wish I had a job where I could be on my phone while servicing a client) I went with the design and gel/no chip color he suggested cause at that point and after waiting so long I wanted to be agreeable since apparently it was such an inconvenience to him that I had waited too long to go. I ended up paying more than when they did the full set. Once I got home I noticed how badly and unevenly the color had been applied even missing some spots. I went on a Thursday and today (the following Tuesday) I already had a chip, my acrylic nails never chip with regular polish! I called and asked if they could fix it and the lady said to come in anytime. I went in and she “fixed” 2 of my nails, the one with the chip and one most noticeably missing color. Please refer to my photo taken just now barely 5 hours after she fixed the chip.Not sure if the products or equipment used are old or if their technique is to blame but I won’t be coming back and I wouldn’t recommend this place.UPDATE - 1 ⭐️ instead of the original ⭐️⭐️ Please see 2 new photos of my “fixed” nail after 24 hours. I have an office job, I don’t do anything out of the ordinary with my hands/nails. This place is an absolute joke.
Our first time here and we couldn’t be happier. My daughter had an awful first experience prior to finding this place. The pedicures were amazing. Great massages and very detailed! As well as my manicure. My daughter got a fill and nail art....he did it perfect. Fixed what was done before and perfect design to match what she wanted. A happy 13th Birthday girl for sure. We will be back!!
My first time visiting, I was a walk-in. I was told it would be about a 30 minute wait, and it was about the time I watered to be taken care of. The technician who got me set me up at the spa chair and the tech who worked on my feet were really nice ladies. She did a good job on my feet. I just moved into West Chicago in May, and I will be coming again.
They were so sweet and they did my nails exactly how i wanted!!! very happy with my experience and will definitely be coming back again. my nails ended up being $60 and i am so happy with them
AMAZING!! I came in with high expectations and left with those expectations met. Jessica hooked me up. Even though The type of nails I wanted were quite complicated she took her time and showed she truly cared while doing my nails. And honestly she made my nails look better than the picture I showed her. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend! Clean, professional and caring💕
They had me and my granddaughter wait for 2 hours just to get a manicure and pedicure. We were the couple first people there. They had other people get their nails done before us while we waited. And we ended up leaving And no it was never communicated to me they were short staffed if this would off been disclosed to me I wouldn’t have waited there for an hour! Poor communication I thought this place was good but after this I will never come back again

So I have made an appointment online and they looked at me so confused. The guy was late 30 minutes,not like I have work or anything to get to. 30 minutes of waiting, finally get to doing my nails and it was the way I wanted it to be but the tardiness was not it! I would come back but I run on time and if you simply cannot respect it then some place else will give me that. Make sure youre off that day so that your time wont be wasted.
Tried a few other places that were closer to some of my work locations in the past and immediately regret it each time. I am never unsatisfied. Everyone is great but Stacy is the absolute best! So friendly and does the best job!!! Massages are amazing. Have brought my husband and 5 year old multiple times and we always sit together and end around the same time!
I had made an appointment a few days in advance for 4 pedicures and 2 manicures, and the lady I talked to on the phone said the time we wanted was available and took my name and phone number. Only 3 of us ended up coming to the appointment. We did arrive 4 minutes late, but of the 8 pedicure chairs there, only 2 were available and no staff were available. We waited a half hour until we were seated in the pedicure chairs, then we sat with our feet soaking in water for 20 minutes before a staff was able to start working on one of us. I got a text a little over an hour after our scheduled appointment time asking for feedback on the appointment, and I was still sitting in the pedicure chair and had not even gotten to my toenails being painted yet. Though their work was good, its unacceptable to make an appointment for clients only to have them wait for almost an hour before giving them service... Very disappointed, as we had someplace we needed to be that evening.
I had Hanna do my nails today!! And let me tell you! When someone you don’t see very often remembers your face and the last set you had from a year ago then means that they care! Hanna and her team are always so funny a professional!Id recommend queen nails to anyone looking for that “INSTA NAIL” look!100% hands down never going to another place again!THANK YOU SO MUCH HANNA!! 😍They are beautiful

I love getting my nails 💅 done here. They always look good and last. Hannah does great art work.They are a great team of people. Hannah always makes sure you are happy before you leave. This place is a very friendly place. I moved but I will keep on coming here. It will take me 25 minutes to get here this place is worth the drive.
My husband and I had our first visit to Queen Nails. The salon is immaculate and decorated beautifully. The staff is attentive, prompt and a lot of fun. The pedicure was done very well. I had my eyebrows waxed, she did a great job. We will definitely be regulars and spread the word!

I went here to get my full set off and a gel manicure. Staff did my nails, she was super nice and understanding even when I decided to switch my color. After seeing my nails she suggested dip instead of gel and this turned out to be the best decision for me! Love my nails so much and she did them in reference to a picture. Will definitely be returning!

They pay attention to every detail, are creative when it comes to designs and overall they are generally honest, nice people. Jessica did my no chip manicure today. I cannot speak more highly of her. This was an awesome place. I am sad that I am from out of town, or this would be my new nail spot! It was very clean and had a nice, hip atmosphere with relaxing music and really friendly staff. The owner was also there and was very warm and friendly. Ill be back every time I visit the area!

Second time here. To be honest the first time was not the greatest experience. I am back again because one thing I find is they seem to be able to fit you in on the fly. Its a pretty big place. Prices are reasonable and this time my experience was very good. The staff are very nice. Taking their time to do a good job.
I agree with the great reviews. I absolutely loved this place. The staff are polite and friendly, unlike some of the other shops. And they have many years of experience. The utensils are sterilized after each use. Which is probably because of the efficiency of their work! Definitely going back to them.

Staff was extremely accommodating of my tight schedule. I got a dip nail manicure on a busy weekday and she took the time to explain each step as she did it and checked in with me along the way to ensure I loved it! She really spends time on you and your nails.
In the middle of doing my nails (I think her name was Jessie) she stopped & took another customer to wax her eye brows. She never asked if it was ok with me. She told me I’ll be right back, I responded no I need to go. She responded I’ll be right back. She did not return for 15 minutes.I received a text message asking if I was pleased with my visit? I responded 🙁no. The response text was a generic cookie cutter response saying to call so they can fix it. I responded you may call me to discuss further & never heard a thing

I went to get a full set. Charged me $60 for my set and they did such a bad job. The nails were done all lazy & messy. I requested my nails to be coffin shaped & they look like square nails. I will never be going back.
I made an appointment for Monday 11AM for a full set but had to wait 10-15 minutes. The pricing is great for West Chicago. The employees are polite and dont do a lot of gossiping among themselves. They listened to what i want and gave great expertise advice. Very clean, very comfortable chairs. Highly recommended! If your looking for a new spot you have to try them out.

I did not like the work of the man * sir * who had me on my nails. .. first because his attitude is not at all pleasant at all, second he does not have any patience and third and last although I would like to add more, he leaves a horrible job and an unpleasant visit to the place.

This was my first time going, I had high expectations but was truly disappointed... never coming back . Word of advice don’t get them done by the man ! He took forever and the result was horrible, he told me my finger was cricked that’s why it was angled and that just pissed me off . I’ve gotten them done before and I’ve never had a comment about my nails until now
Went in asked for gel full set received acrylical. I told the man my nail was crocked he filed it. Didnt fix it. He put a smaller nail on my right poonter finger then my left. Made a mess on my finger glued my thumb to the nail, dug his nail into the side of my finger nail and hurt me. I asked for a simple design he said he could only do with gel that would cost an extra $10. I would never ever recommend or go here ever again.

Not even a star should bw givin. Went last Thursday to get my daughters nails done for her quinceanera and on monday they started to fall off. They should last 2 weeks at least not 3 days. Dont go here not worth the price
Disappointing experience. My tech rushed through my no-chip to get to the next customer, even though I had an appointment. He did not file my nails completely, left them rough and did not let them dry long enough in the light. It has only been a few days and my $60 pedi and no chip mani are already chipping and peeling off!!

Not the cleanest place, not the best job, took a long time. The nail tech I had was nice enough. My sister got a man and had to have my lady fix her nails before we left. For the price I paid I expected a little better quality.
Horrible experience ended up with thick acrylic nails and cuts all over my cuticle.
Sucked. They didnt even file or clip my toenails, my toenails look jacked up.
