My wife and I downsized from a 2500 sq ft house to 1100 sq ft. We are very happy with our decision, but the bathroom was so small that it was unlivable. Climbing over a tub only to feel claustrophobic was no fun. We also only had one bath in the house which made things inconvenient for my wife, grown up son, and me on many occasions. Thank god for Roger and Cobalt flooring. Roger is a genius and knew exactly what should be done. Out with the tub, and in with a walk-in shower. A little change to an unused bedroom, and we had a new powder room. In no time, we had redesigned the original bath and come up with a plan for a second powder room with a second toilet and vanity to satisfy our needs. Between Keith and Roger, there was nothing that they did not plan out for us. Roger’s sense for design, and Keith’s attention to detail made our project a reality. After being disappointed with a large chain store, we visited the Cobalt Showroom. What a difference my wife and I experienced! We were greeted by Roger, who cared about our names and who we were. He then took time with us to find out what we wanted and needed. Roger sat down with us and explained everything. He even gave us an approximate price (which was very close to the final price) based on a drawing that I had brought. The price given was significantly lower than the large chain stores price....... about $4,000 LESS! The other employees were also wonderful. And most of all, the flooring was beautiful and done well. Cobalts team of installers is second to none, had one team do our laminate flooring two years ago,and now just another team install carpet in our great room, and dining room. They had to shuffle furniture from room to room, remove old carpet and pad, install new carpet +the stairs, and was done in under 3 hours. AWESOME!

Amazing experience all around. Basement flooded and we needed replacement flooring right away. Roger (the owner) came out the next day and made several recommendations. Keith came out to measure the day we confirmed our selections (vinyl planks and wood base trim). The installers, Ted and Tim, did our entire basement and family room in less than 2 days! I absolutely LOVE my new carpeting in my living room from Cobalt Flooring Designs. This was our first time here...loved the attention from start to finish and the speed of ordering the carpeting, quality of carpeting and the awesome installers and so affordable for such luxury. We use to use the catchy jingle one before but hated the quality of carpeting and the poor workmanship of the installers. We will never use anyone else for our carpeting needs but Cobalt Flooring Designs. They will be doing our whole upstairs early next year.

I am remodeling a lake home in Wisconsin. I stopped into Cobalt Flooring just to get some ideas, never considering they would deliver to Wisconsin. Roger was very helpful. He helped direct me to a product that met both my design and budget. He had no problem delivering and installing my flooring to my home in southern Wisconsin. Our experiences with Cobalt Flooring Designs have been nothing short of OUTSTANDING. We recently had them do our master bathroom. Tile flooring, custom shower base and tile surround. I cant say enough good things about Roger, his crew and Cobalt flooring. I am a 3rd generation woodworker, carpenter and woodturner: finish and honoring the grain are fundamental to the art and effort. In exceeding my expectations, Roger acknowledged and delivered on my request for meticulous attention to details. His crew completed our first floor, solid oak refinish and the clean up was significantly less than is normal/customary for the scale of the project. Now that the bill is paid, I would suggest that Roger charged me LESS than the quality and workmanship demands - but dont tell him I said that! There are other dust-less options that might cost less, but if you want a craft-quality job completed on time with respectful attention to Customer Satisfaction, I HIGHLY recommend Cobalt Flooring.

I recently worked with Colbalt Flooring to take on a project of vinyl plank flooring for the kitchen, dining, living room and hall. Also, three bedrooms, siting area, and stairs with carpet. This project was a real investment for us. We first started to work with Roger, who was wonderful to work with. He is honest, fair and very customer orientated.The installation process was just seamless. The crew for the vinyl flooring showed very good attention to detail and they were seamless to work with. The carpet installers did such a fabulous job. You can not see one seam in any of the rooms that were done, that made me so happy. They were very clean and left my home meticulous. If you are looking to start a small or large project like this you will not find a better group of people to work with starting with Roger.

We wanted to update the hardwood floors at our newly purchased home. Roger and his team did a great job with the entire process from ripping out the old floors without causing any damage to the baseboards, to installing the new floors beautifully. During our search for flooring suppliers we met Roger the owner of Cobalt Flooring and from the start we felt he was genuinely interested in helping us find the right flooring for our needs. We had a general idea of what we wanted and Roger took the time to show us many options and explained the pros & cons of each while keeping in mind our preferences. We highly recommend Cobalt Flooring Designs from our experience with them. We had been to a number of other flooring stores talking with their sales people to get ideas for the new floor for our kitchen. Roger was the only one who took the time to explain the differences in the vinyl flooring products to help in our decision. He covered the different thickness of each products and how durable they were. The installation crew that arrived worked hard from their arrival to departure the first very long day and day two as well. They made sure that every thing was completed just right and that we were completely satisfied, including cleaning areas in the home that abutted the work area. The whole process was completed in a timely fashion, with a product and price that beat the competition. The only negative is that Roger did not inform me that my wife would want the kitchen repainted to coordinate with the new floor.

Had carpet installed about 6 months ago by Cobalt, I waited a while to see how the carpet held up. The product has been top quality. No complaints. The installer noticed a slight color variation during installation of the carpet. They finished the install and reordered the carpeting and reinstalled it a few weeks later. AMAZING!!! I believe that anyone else would have overlooked this detail and not said a word about it. They helped us look at options on display and made great suggestions on styles AND would keep us in budget. They didnt try to upsell me with something else. Absolutely AMAZING!!! All employees I had contact with were professional and honest. You wont find a better company or team of people. I had gone to another local place with a super modern show room and a horrible sales team, who wanted $1200 over what Cobalt did the job for. Dont get robbed, GO WITH COBALT!!!!!!!!***UPDATE***Our carpeting has been holding strong. NO problems with quality or install. Everything has been top notch still. I am glad I avoided the large home improvement stores and went to Cobalt Flooring. Shopping for at Cobalt was not only easier on which flooring to purchase but talking with Roger was like having a conversation with a friend in the flooring business. Just to get a quote it took them 4 business days and they were much higher (like 40% more) than a competitor for the same exact tile I was looking at. Not happy at all with this place.

So Happy!!!My job: American Guild wood flooring installed, living room, dining room, kitchen, and upstairs hall. New base trim installed.1st, had three estimates, and Cobalt was very competitive. I had a budget, and Roger worked with me to match the best flooring choice for my design taste, lifestyle, and budget. He is very knowledgeable about the products he sells and installs.2nd, Keith, Cobalt’s estimator and project manager made sure he captured all the repair work needed during tear out phase, and was on site during new installation to support Ted, my installer. Keith and Ted also assisted me with advice on some work I am doing on the stairway.3rd, Ted, my installer did a beautiful job on the floor, and retrimming the rooms. Very good attention to detail, and accomplished craftsman.

Gives a estimate based on ballpark square footage without looking at the job. Then he wants a deposit on the job before he comes to look at it and measure.He argues with me about it!!!!!! Really!!!!!Hmmm, nope..... unprofessional and rude....

The worst experience with any retailer we have ever had. Delivered the wrong carpet the day of installation, Roger (the owner) argued with me and insisted it was the carpet that the sales person had shown us and that we ordered. The carpet was of such a poor quality, I had to file a complaint about Cobalt flooring with the carpet manufacturer, place a dispute with Visa (which I won and the money was removed from Cobalts account). We tried to work with Roger and possibly order a different carpet, but he priced it twice as high as the other 3 quotes I received and then told us, that we had forfeited all rights to the carpet and to our money. The sales person we had worked with, left Cobalt flooring within days of our original carpet order - told me that he could no longer work for someone who operated in an unethical business manner. I am certain Roger tried a bait and switch with us - when we asked for a small piece of the carpet he had tried to deliver, he would not give us one.
