Easy money! They are friendly, unload fast, and will even let you sweep out the trailer on the dock unless they have trucks in line to unload. Pull in off West Washington Street and youll be in the best position to back in.Once in the dock youll be here no more than 1 hour. Only thing to keep in mind is that they do not have a restroom for drivers.There is a Speedway nearby that you can stop at before or after delivering to Midwest Salt. I would definitely haul a load back here without question.Im sure if you came in the night before, you could park overnight before delivery, they open and start unloading at 8am M-F.

Prices and service are great and my salesman Rainer is very courteous and professional. We always have a pleasant conversation whenever I call to place an order. The delivery drivers are very accommodating as well. My deliveries are always made without any issues.

I own a plowing company and went to them to supply de-icing salt. I went in on Thursday night. It was almost about 6 and Rainer had already locked the front the door. I told him I was looking for someone to supply salt and instead of telling me to come back tomorrow he unlocked the door and gave me a quick breakdown on the deicing materials and pricing. This is the kind of company you want on your side! Give Rainer a raise!

Good quality mulch.However....Midwest Salt shorted my residential mulch order. I ordered 8 yards. They delivered between 4.5 and 5 yards. I contacted Midwest Salt to politely inform them of the shortage. I offered Midwest Salt an opportunity to send a representative to come walk my property so they could see that they indeed shorted the order. The Midwest Salt representative said he would look into the issue and follow-up with me. He did not follow-up with me.Buy your mulch elsewhere...the dollar or two you save per yard at Midwest Salt will be offset by not receiving your order in full.

First time buying mulch from midwest salt paid for one change my mind when they dumped in my truck ask to dump another and the guy ask me if I was coming back for more to pay for the second one when I come back.That trust and service and love the mulch
